Sam Hunt Teases New Music 'Coming Soon'

Sam Hunt is working on new music!

The country star turned to Instagram this week to share a photo of himself in the studio along with a caption that simply said, "New songs coming soon."

Comments from excited fans immediately poured in, with many asking Hunt give them a preview of what's coming on his next project. "Reading this feels like Christmas in February," one fan wrote, while another added, "CAN'T WAIT. Please drop a song soon."

A number of fans specifically requested he release the song "23," which he debuted during his virtual "Red Rocks Unpaused" concert in September of 2020. "23, 23, 23 please be 23," one person commented, with another chiming in, writing, "PLEASE release 23. I'm begging you."

At this time, Hunt has yet to share any further details regarding his next album.

Hunt's next album follows the release of his long-awaited sophomore album, Southside, which arrived last year and debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in April. The album features his No. 1 smash hit, "Body Like a Back Road" along with other chart-topping singles including "Kinfolks" and "Hard to Forget."

Southside follows Hunt's debut album, Montevallo, which was released five years earlier in 2014. In between the two albums, Hunt released several singles including 2017's smash hit, "Body Like A Back Road," "Downtown's Dead," "Drinkin' Too Much" and more.
