Talk about luck, Jason Long, 39, from Eagle River, Alaska, was mauled by a mother Grizzly Bear while he was hunting in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve earlier this month. After the attack, Jason activated the SOS button on his GPS device, which alerted the Alaska Air National Guard. The lucky part is that the "Arctic Guardian" rescue team was already in the air on a training mission. They blew off their training to give Jason an assist, airlifting him to safety. Jason is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
