WATCH: Bear Smacks Woman In The Face While She's Eating At Restaurant

A shocking video captured the moment that a woman was smacked in the face by a black bear while she was eating at an outdoor restaurant. According to The Daily Mail, the incident happened in Mexico at the Chipinque Hotel in San Pedro de Garza García.

In the video, which was shared on X, the bear can be seen climbing onto a table where a man and woman are sitting. Several staff members can be seen yelling at the bear and trying to scare it away by hitting the ground with pipes. The bear ignores the men and continues going after the food on the table.

The bear then stops, steps back, and looks around before swiping at the woman's face. She remains seated while the three men with sticks try again to scare the bear away.

This time, it steps back from the table and runs to the other side. As the bear approaches the table again, the man and woman get up from their seats. The staff members then chase the bear away.

The woman did not appear to be hurt by the bear's attack.
