Georgia Hospital Crowned 'Best In State' For 2025

Access to quality health care is not something you want to take for granted when it comes to any medical concerns you may have for yourself or a loved one. Fortunately there are several top-notch hospitals around the state to ensure you won't be forced to drive hours away to receive treatment, including one medical facility named the best hospital in all of Georgia.

Newsweek recently partnered with Statista to compile a list of the "best-in-state" hospitals for 2025, which recognized 700 leading hospitals around the country based on factors like quality and patient experience. According to the rankings, the best hospital in Georgia for 2025 is Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Northside Hospital Atlanta, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Johns Creek, City of Hope Atlanta, Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Emory Decatur Hospital in Decatur, Wellstar Paulding Medical Center in Hiram, Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton, Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Pidemont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Northeast Georgia Medical Center - Gainesville, Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in Lagrange and John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville also rank among the best hospitals Georgia has to offer.

Here's how Newsweek describes compiling a list of the best hospitals around the country:

"This year's rankings include facilities in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The rankings were compiled using quality metrics from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, a nationwide online survey among medical professionals, results from HCAHPS patient experience surveys and a voluntary PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) implementation survey."
