Mariah Carey has a vast catalogue of classic hits — not to mention one of the biggest Christmas songs of all time — but now she's sharing what she believes to be her most underrated song.

In a new interview with BuzzFeed, where she plays with adorable puppies, she shared that her most underrated song is "Clown" from her 2002 album Charmbracelet. She said, "Probably this song called 'Clown' from Charmbracelet. Just because, not everybody knows it, and I like that song. I think it’s clever and pretty."

"Clown" is a response to Eminem's comments about Carey not only in the media, but in his 2002 song "Superman." The rapper insisted that they dated, but Carey had denied the relationship, explaining that they hung out "four times," which she doesn't think is enough to be considered dating someone. In "Superman," Eminem raps, "What, you tryin' to be my new wife? What, you Mariah? Fly through twice" — a reference to their supposed relationship.

Mariah sings in the "Clown" lyrics, "I gotta break it to ya delicately, dummy/ Taking my G5 twenty minutes wasn't nothing/ But I guess you wouldn't know that's the way I roll/ Consequently now your ego's fully overblown/ You don't want the world to know that you're just a puppet show/ And the little boy inside often sits at home alone/ And cries, cries, cries, cries."m says:

In his 2008 book, The Way I Am, the rapper talked about "Superman," writing, "With 'Superman,' all I ever hear people talk about is Mariah Carey. Did she inspire it? Yes, she kind of did. I don’t want to get into tabloid gossip, but if you read between the lines, and you listen to it, you’ll know what I’m talking about."
