Sometimes, the simplest ideas make the biggest impact — like one high school’s hallway microphone that gave students a chance to share something good happening in their lives.

The idea was simple: a mic, a sign that said “Tell us something good!”, and an open space where anyone could stop and share. What happened next was pure magic.

One by one, students began stepping up — some shy, some bold — to share their little moments of happiness.

🌟 “I’ve been having a great relationship with my mom”

🎉 "MS. GATES COMPLIMENTED MY ARTWORK"

💖 “There was a new girl at school today, so I think I made a new friend”

😄 “I finally got a girlfriend”

It became more than a fun project — it was a reminder that joy is worth celebrating, and that every good thing, big or small, deserves to be heard.

In a world where it’s easy to focus on what’s going wrong, this microphone turned the spotlight on what’s going right. It connected students through positivity, kindness, and community spirit — the very things that make school feel like family.

So here’s to more “hallway microphones” in the world — more spaces where we can pause, share the good, and lift each other up. Because happiness is even better when it’s shared. 💕
