Carly Pearce Shares Emotional Reaction To Message From Rascal Flatts Star

Carly Pearce shared her reaction to a sweet message from Rascal Flatts star Gary LeVox.

LeVox had to “brag on my sis [Carly Pearce] for a hot second,” he wrote in a caption on Instagram on Monday (December 1). He went on to applaud the Grammy-winning country star on her latest single, “Dream Come True,” a vulnerable ballad that Pearce explained is “about the sacrifices we make when chasing our dreams.” She wrote it with Lauren Hungate, Tofer Brown and Emily Weisband, and produced it with Ben West. LeVox hailed the single “absolutely beautiful,” and “incredible.”

“Watching you grow as an artist over the years has been fun,” the Rascal Flatts artist said of Pearce, and thanked her for her “honesty” and “heart.” He ended his post with a nod to Pearce’s “Dream Come True” lyrics: “I can promise you this- I love you for u! Keep it goin.”

“Well this just made me cry,” Pearce responded. “Coming from you, I can’t even say how much it means! Thank you for being so supportive of me all these years— to have one of my biggest influences be one of the most quality people I’ve ever met, is so special. LOVE YOU GARY! ❤”

“Dream Come True” is the latest song to release from Pearce since she extended her 2024 studio record, hummingbird, with the 19-track deluxe edition earlier this year. Pearce previously said in a statement via her record label: “If you’ve ever felt that push and pull, know that you’re not alone. Writing this song has allowed me to return to my original dream, to reconnect with my roots and why I first fell in love with singing Country music.”
