Selena Gomez Reunites With Fellow Disney Alum Miley Cyrus At Golden Globes

Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus reunited at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, which returned Sunday evening (January 11) to The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Gomez and Cyrus, both 33, starred in beloved Disney Channel sitcoms earlier in their careers. Gomez became well-known for her role as Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place, which ran from 2007 to 2012. Cyrus played Miley Stewart, a teenager living a double life as a famous pop star, on Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011. The “Flowers” hitmaker, who made history when she became the youngest-ever Disney Legend in 2024, has been teasing plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana’s debut.

Gomez wore a gorgeous, floor-length black gown with a feathery accent piece (reportedly made of feathers, silk chiffon and silk organza) draped around her shoulders. The Only Murders in the Building actress posed on the red carpet with husband Benny Blanco. Cyrus, who is engaged to Maxx Morando, wore her stunning engagement ring with a shimmering black dress with dramatic, wing-like accents. She completed the look with bold sunglasses on the red carpet.
