Social media commenters said they weren’t expecting the video Brett Young shared on Monday (January 12).
Young posted a clip of himself covering Morgan Wallen’s “Just In Case” in the shower. Commenters on TikTok and Instagram were quick to applaud the “In Case You Didn’t Know” artist’s rendition of Wallen’s ballad, and address the attention-grabbing setting of the video. One said the singer-songwriter’s wife, Taylor Mills Young, must be thinking he’s “been in (the) shower forever.” Another said “if you wanted to get all our attention, you did it.” Another told the country singer to “stop with the thirst trap.”
Wallen released “Just In Case” on his highly-anticipated studio record, I’m The Problem, in May 2025. The East Tennessee-born country star teamed up with John Byron, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Ryan Vojtesak, Josh Thompson, Blake Pendergrass and Alex Bak to write the track, which Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome produced. Wallen is kicking off his headlining “Still The Problem Tour” this spring.
Young is gearing up for his own headlining “2.0 Tour,” which kicks off on January 22 in Nashville, Tennessee. The California-born artist released his fifth studio album in June 2025. The 11-track album included “Drink With You,” “Who Do I Do It For” with Lady A, “You Don’t Know What You’re Missing” with George Birge, a new version of his 2017 ballad, “In Case You Didn’t Know,” with Hannah McFarland and more.
