Meghan Trainor is settling into her role as a mom of three after secretly welcoming her third child this week.

Trainor surprised fans on Tuesday (January 20) when she announced that her and husband Daryl Sabara's family had grown after the birth of their daughter, Mikey Moon Trainor, born via surrogate. Shortly after, the "Still Don't Care" spoke with People about the adorable newest addition to their family and how she is overwhelmed by the love she has for her baby girl.

"It feels surreal. I've dreamed about this for so long, and now I'll look at her and still can't believe she's real," she said. "My heart feels fuller than I ever knew it could."

Trainor also shared how her and Sabara's two oldest children, sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, have been handling having a new baby in the house, and it turns out they are just as obsessed with Mikey as mom and dad. She previously revealed that her sons even helped choose Mikey's middle name.

"They are over the moon. Riley takes his 'big brother' role very seriously, and Barry is just so gentle and curious with her," she said. "Watching them bond with their sister has been one of the sweetest parts of this whole experience."

She added that Riley can't wait to show off his new baby sister, saying, "We printed out photos for Riley to bring to school and show his entire class, and he couldn't have been more excited."

The "All About That Bass" singer, who praised their "incredible, superwoman surrogate" in the birth announcement, also explained why she and the Spy Kids actor chose surrogacy to expand their family and "forever grateful" for the option.

"It wasn't our first choice, but we had endless conversations with our doctors on this journey, and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family," she said, adding, "I want people to know that surrogacy is just another beautiful way to build a family. It's not something to whisper about or judge. It's rooted in trust, science, love, and teamwork."

Trainor continued, "Every family's journey looks different, and all of them are extremely valid."
