Miley Cyrus Confirms She Dated Fellow Star During Disney Days: 'The Cutest'

Miley Cyrus is revealing the truth about her Disney dating days.

While speaking to Alex Cooper on the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which premiered Tuesday (March 24) on Disney+, Cyrus admitted "it's true, confirmed" that she "secretly" dated fellow Disney Channel star Dylan Sprouse early in their careers on the network, per E! News. Cyrus was living the best of both worlds on Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011, while Sprouse made up one half of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck between 2005 and 2011.

"Dylan Sprouse was my boyfriend," she said. "I think he was the cutest."

The "Flowers" singer, who also dated Nick Jonas when they were teens, explained that she would spend time with Dylan and his twin brother and Suite Life costar Cole Sprouse, though only one of them was her "crush."

"Dylan was my crush," she said. "Their dad would take us to sushi. I was into the whole culture, and it was a two-for-one. Like, bring the brother. Hello!"

While, like many childhood and teenage romances, the relationship didn't last, they each found love with someone else. Sprouse married longtime partner model Barbara Palvin in July 2023, and Cyrus confirmed her engagement to fiancé Maxx Morando in December 2025 after four years of dating.
