JoJo Siwa Shares Insight Into Relationship With ‘Sweet Love’ Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa is finding musical inspiration in her boyfriend Chris Hughes.

While speaking with People at the premiere of the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on Monday (March 23), the Dance Moms star, 22, shared some insight into her romance with the Love Island alum, 33. Their love story even inspired her upcoming single "Serendipity," out April 7.

"The inspiration behind that is my very sweet love Christopher," she said, adding, "Well, our lives connecting and meeting are like serendipity. It's my favorite word, so I had to write a song about it."

The "Karma" singer also explained that their relationship stays strong because of how "right" it feels, sharing, "I think that when it's meant to be, it is, and when it's meant to be, it'll be right."

Siwa and Hughes became friends while filming Celebrity Big Brother UK in April 2025 but their relationship continued to develop after the show came to an end. She confirmed to The Guardian in June that their connection was "not platonic anymore" and that they were dating, adding, "I'm absolutely head over heels for him, and he's the same way."

The pair even made their red carpet debut as a couple in October, sharing some sweet PDA while attending the Dancers Against Cancer 2025 Gala of the Stars, where Siwa was presented with the gala's Humanitarian Award.
