DAYOUNG is back with a brand new single months after making her solo debut.

DAYOUNG, member of the K-pop girl group WJSN (Cosmic Girls), released her second digital single What's a girl to do on Tuesday (April 7), two-song project featuring the title track and "Priceless (kaching kaching)" that serves as a follow-up to her solo debut gonna love me, right? that released in September 2025.

What's a girl to do, both the album and the song, captures the feeling of wanting to "linger in someone's thoughts, chance encounters that feel almost intentional" and making excuses to find a reason to stay close to the someone intriguing, according to a press release.

DAYOUNG also shared a new music video for the title track, a visual capturing that exact energy and bold mood, dancing through a party and in the city streets as she sings, "Now I'm pulling my hair out/ Hiding my clothes in the back of your room/ So I can come over/ Pick up my things, but it's just an excuse/ I'll get in your head/ Yeah, I'll do what I have to/ So what's a girl to do?"
