Eladio Carrión is back with his new single, inspired by a classic '80s banger.

On Thursday night, April 16, the Puerto Rican rapper dropped the visuals for his new song "Polaroid." Produced by Eladio himself alongside Andrahpr and Hide Miyabi, the 31-year-old artist lays down his bars over a modernized sample of Michael Sembello’s 1983 classic hit “Maniac,” which was the lead song in Flashdance. In the official music video directed by BALLVE, Eladio posts up in front of a vintage Porsche while a dancer reenacts moves made popular by the late Irene Cara.

Eladio Carrión finally released "Polaroid" several months after he first teased it during his appearance on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3. Carrión performed the song during his "On The Radar" freestyle toward the end of Cenat's month-long, 24/7 subathon streaming event. "Polaroid" is the third single he's released this year. It follows tracks like “Buenos Días,” which allowed him to focus on protecting his energy while reflecting on his progression in life. He also dropped “De Chamaquito,” a hard-hitting banger in which he rehashes the lessons he learned during his come-up in the music industry.

It seems like Eladio Carrión is preparing to level up following the success of his 2025 album, DON KBRN. His 22-track album comes stacked with collaborations with artists from the Latin and Hip-Hop worlds, including Big Sean, Myke Towers, Jessie Reyez, Peso Pluma, Young Miko and more.
