Kacey Musgraves offered a sneak peek of a dazzling unreleased track from her Middle of Nowhere era.
The Grammy-winning country star unveiled a snippet of “Rhinestoned” on Monday (April 20). She posted a clip filmed at Billy Bob’s Texas, an iconic honky tonk in Fort Worth, as she sings on the unreleased track: “Ooh, let’s put a little sparkle on/ Ooh, until the heartache and the sadness is gone/ Baby, we don’t have to be alone/ Let’s get a little rhinestoned.”
Musgraves, 37, stirred anticipation for her sixth studio record when she took the stage for a surprise set at Coachella over the weekend. Musgraves, a last-minute addition to the lineup, performed unreleased songs “Uncertain, TX,” a collaboration with Willie Nelson, and “Back on the Wagon.” She also delivered renditions of the title track and “Dry Spell,” which she released after posting a series of cheeky, attention-grabbing teasers on her social media accounts.
