Dan + Shay will hit the road on a run of headlining shows in the fall, the duo confirmed on Monday morning (May 18).

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney will kick off “The Young Tour” this September in Noblesville, Indiana. The Grammy-winning duo will continue with stops in New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Colorado and other destinations. The tour wraps up in early November in Mountain View, Indiana. Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross will join Dan + Shay on select dates. Tickets will be available to the general public at 10 a.m. local time on Friday (May 22).

Dan + Shay’s tour announcement arrives just a few days after the duo announced their upcoming album, Young. The 10-track project “is by far our most personal album yet, and gives a real-time snapshot of exactly where we are in our lives,” Dan + Shay shared as they announced the record. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your patience and support while we made YOUNG. We’ve never been more proud of a batch of songs, and hope they mean as much to you as they do to us.”

Dan + Shay released the opening track and title track of the album on Friday (May 15). Smyers and Mooney teamed up with songwriters Hillary Lindsey, Liz Rose and Lori McKenna to bring “Young” to life, and told the story with a cinematic, coming-of-age music video. Smyers produced the ballad with Scott Hendricks.

“Young” followed “Say So,” which Dan + Shay performed at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday evening (May 17) in a powerful moment to spotlight mental health awareness. “Say So” “is a true story about a friend who we lost not long ago, and we hope it offers strength and encouragement to anyone going through a tough time,” Dan + Shay previously shared. Smyers and Mooney wrote the song with David Hodges and Jimmy Robbins, and Smyers and Hendricks co-produced it.

Young will release on August 21. Watch Dan + Shay’s performance of “Say So” here, and see the duo’s list of tour dates below.
