The Black Crowes were recently booed at a concert after frontman Chris Robinson criticized the crowd's "U.S.A." chanting.

During their Sunday (May 31) show in Tampa, Fla., the rockers displayed their crow mascot, dressed as Uncle Sam, on a big screen. After fans began the patriotic chant, Robinson said to the crowd, "I don't know what you have to be so proud of right now," per a Facebook post from a fan.

The crowd then began booing, according to a clip from the show shared on TikTok. Watch it here.

"For those of you f---ing booing us, some of us are not afraid," Robinson told the crowd. "And we most assuredly are not f---ing ignorant."

The band then continued the set, playing their 1991 hit "She Talks to Angels," per TMZ.

In March, the rock group released their latest album, A Pound of Feathers. They're currently on the road for their "Southern Hospitality" tour with Whiskey Myers.
