Music Mogul Clive Davis, 94, Recovering At Home After Health Scare

Legendary music executive Clive Davis is recovering after being hospitalized for almost a week.

The Grammy-winning record producer, 94, was released from a New York City hospital on Thursday (June 4) after being admitted last Friday (May 29), per PEOPLE.

"Clive was discharged from the hospital earlier today," a spokesperson for Davis told the outlet. "He is in good spirits and happy to be recuperating at home."

Per TMZ, the music mogul had been admitted to the hospital for an upper respiratory infection.

The noted record executive has faced health issues previously. In 2021, he postponed his annual star-studded Grammy gala after being diagnosed with Bell's palsy.

Davis notably co-founded Arista Records and has signed some of music's biggest stars, including Neil Diamond, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith, according to his website. He's also credited for shaping the careers of Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson and Aretha Franklin.
