Tyler Childers pushed back performance dates as he and his wife get ready to welcome Baby No. 2.
The Americana singer-songwriter, 34, and singer Senora May, 35, “have been preparing to welcome a new baby,” per a statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday (June 9). “That time has come,” so Childers will postpone two of his upcoming shows. Childers was set to take the stage on Wednesday (June 10) at Darien Lake Amphitheater at Six Flags Darien Lake in Darien Center, New York. He had another show scheduled for Thursday (June 11) at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Those performances will now take place on Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14, respectively.
“Evan Honer will be joining both newly rescheduled dates,” the statement reads. “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates. Fans who are unable to attend may request a refund at their original point of purchase for the next 30 days. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this season.”
Childers and May welcomed their firstborn, a son, in September 2022. Childers shared earlier this year that he and May were expecting Baby No. 2 when he spoke out about the Kentucky birthing center they’d selected closing down. He and May met in 2013, and said “I do” in July 2015.
