Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelley Are 'Stronger Than Ever' After FGL Reunion

Tyler Hubbard shared a heartfelt post about his surprise reunion with Florida Georgia Line partner Brian Kelley during the Country Music Association’s CMA Fest over the weekend.
Hubbard and Kelley reunited on the first night of the festival, on Thursday, June 4, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Florida Georgia Line’s reunion arrived about four years after the two artists said they would take “a break” to pursue solo projects. They confirmed in front of thousands of fans at the stadium “we back, baby!”
“CMA fest 26 was more than just six shows in four days for me,” Hubbard posted on Instagram on Wednesday (June 10). “Last week was about something bigger than just music. It was about forgiveness, healing, history, community, brotherhood, and the power of what Jesus can do. This week our friends and fans got to experience the emotion and joy that BK, myself, and our wives have been getting to experience for months now and I’ve never been more grateful. What we’ve been through has made our bond stronger than ever. Now our time together, whether on stage, or sitting in the back yard, takes on a whole new meaning. My heart is full. Cheers to family, forgiveness, and a week I’ll never forget.”
Hubbard also spoke about his viral reunion with Kelley when he performed days later at the iHeartCountry House Party at Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa. He said at the time, “I hadn’t been that nervous in that much excitement in a long time. I mean, it was wild. It felt like I was about to play the Super Bowl or something. …It was just a blast. To feel that much love, to see the joy in the faces and laughs and tears and everything else, it was really special.”
Other artists on the CMA Fest main stage this year included Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Deana Carter, Ella Langley, Gretchen Wilson, HARDY, Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, The Red Clay Strays, Riley Green, Russell Dickerson, Shaboozey, Tim McGraw, Tucker Wetmore and Zach Top, and more. Riley Green and Lara Spencer will host the televised special, which will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Thursday, June 25. The show will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
