Jay Allen and his fiancée, Renee Lynn, got married in a stunning, intimate destination wedding.
“WE GOT MARRIED!!!!” Allen exclaimed in a caption on Instagram on Thursday (June 11) with a series of photos by Dmytro Shpynda from the Montenegro ceremony. “This morning I woke up in a different country praising God that I get to call you my bride [Renee Lynn]. I promise to faithfully love you and give you and the kids the best version of myself… in this life and through eternity. Like you, His plan is beautiful.”
The country artist and former contestant on The Voice popped the question to his new bride in late 2025. He posted engagement photos on Christmas Day, writing, in part, that “I’m in love with you and want a family with you.” Allen previously shared that “we fell in love later in life, and this isn’t what we expected. But we’ve both never been happier.”
Allen, 40, and Lynn, 39, got married on Wednesday (June 10). He told PEOPLE, “it was really important to us to have the wedding be private and just about us. We just never thought we'd get to have a wedding like this in such a beautiful part of the world.” The couple told the outlet that they’re planning to host a reception with family and friends later this year in Arizona.
“We're best friends and spend every day together, and loyalty is the most important thing for us,” Lynn said to PEOPLE. “We look forward to sharing that together for the rest of our lives.”
