Piers Morgan Reveals 'Brilliant' Hollywood Star He Met At Diner

Piers Morgan candidly shared the Hollywood actor he once met at a diner by chance, calling him "brilliant."
The broadcaster got candid on the Tuesday (June 16) episode of the Ruthie's Table 4 podcast, revealing the star to be Tom Hanks.
"I was in the Upper East Side in New York City, and I was sitting in a diner," Morgan explained about the chance meeting with the legendary actor. "And he just walked in on his own, and he came over and he said, 'Mind if I join you?' And it was brilliant."
Morgan enjoyed the meal with Hanks so much, musing, "I remember thinking, 'I wish I could interview him.'"
The iconic A-lister next stars in the upcoming highly anticipated film Toy Story 5, which releases on Friday (June 19).
