Carly Pearce Shares Recording Of 9-Year-Old Self, Looked Up To LeAnn Rimes

Carly Pearce was “determined to sound like LeAnn Rimes,” when she was 9 years old.
Pearce uncovered a recording of herself yodeling when she was 9 years old, and shared the audio clip on Instagram on Monday (July 13). She wrote in her caption: “My poor parents had to listen to me learn to do this in my bedroom for months because I was determined to sound like [LeAnn Rimes].”
Rimes replied in the comments: “awwww, the sweetest! GET IT! ❤️”
Pearce, who also posted some throwback photos from some of her earlier years as a performer, will release her new 16-track album next month. Honest Woman includes “Dream Come True,” “Church Girl,” “She Don’t,” “You Can Have Him,” “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay” with Riley Green, and more.
