A health setback is interrupting the momentum of Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer. The group's drummer Ashton Irwin has been hospitalized with a case of appendicitis, forcing them to cancel upcoming trips to the U.K. and Asia.

According to a post on their website, 5 Seconds of Summer says they won't be traveling to London this weekend to perform at the BBC Radio One Teen Awards. The foursome will also be postponing a string of dates they had scheduled in Japan next week.
