Alicia Keys and Chris Rock will join forces to host the annual Black Ball to celebrate the work of Alicia’s Keep a Child Alive foundation.
The event will raise money to provide treatment and care for children, teens and families living with and affected by HIV in Africa and India. In addition to hosting, Keys will perform on a bill that also includes Lionbabe, WizKid and more.
Alicia says, “At this year’s Black Ball, we will bring attention to the young, vibrant and extraordinary people of Africa. Their future is bright, but with 25 million people currently living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa, we need to get AIDS out of the picture once and for all, for Africa to reach their full potential.”
The Black Ball takes place at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on November 5.
