Apollo Nida has been behind bars for two months and he's already giving interviews from prison.
He recently told InTouch Weekly that he’s hoping he and his wife, Phaedra Parks, can work things out despite the fact that they’re already on the road to divorce.
"Yes, we've had problems - especially over the last year - but we've gotten on terms now where I can call her and it’s cordial," he said. "I'm hopeful that we can stick things out."
For now, his main priority is convincing Phaedra to let his sons visit him in the big house.
"There's a plan to get them up here," he said. "I know for a fact that when I get home, I will pick up the pieces."
Still, Phaedra seems serious about her plans to divorce the felon.
"The divorce is proceeding as planned," said Steven Honig.
"While Phaedra and the boys do speak with Apollo regularly, there have been absolutely no discussions about reconciling."
