Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl is headed to trial and could be court-martialed. His lawyer said today the charges of desertion and misbehavior were referred to a military trial. It isn't known when the trial will take place.
Bergdahl was charged earlier this year almost a year after he was released in a controversial prisoner exchange with the Taliban. He was captured in 2009 after disappearing from his unit in Afghanistan. Bergdahl could get life in prison if convicted.
