After only having launched about 6 weeks ago, your center for all things dance, Evolution Radio has spread to the airwaves - the airwaves in Boston in particular. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and Evolution Radio are extremely proud to announce the launch of Evolution 101.7. This is a monumental milestone in terms of internet radio.
Evolution 101.7 is an extension of Evolution Radio on iHeartRadio. Boston dance music fans can now tune in to 101.7 FM on their radio to hear the very best in dance music from the top talents in the industry. The programming will be similar to Evolution Radio, including Pete Tong's "All Gone Pete Tong," in addition to the already impressive line-up of shows every week from Diplo, Wolfgang Gartner, Dim Mak and Yung Skeeter, Manufactured Superstars, Dillon Francis, Eats Everything Tom Staar, Hot Since 82, John Dahlback, 2 Bears, Moguai, Congorock, Roger Sanchez, Paul van Dyk, Doorly, and more. The new Boston station's programming will also feature special mixes, on-air interviews, and guest-hosted radio shows.
Dylan Sprague, Vice President of Programming for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Boston says, "We're proud to bring Evolution 101.7, the company's first EDM broadcast station, to Boston, and to team up with format-leading artists like Pete Tong. The music scene in Boston has a vibrant EDM community as well as a rich history of bringing new music to audiences in the area and around the country. We’re excited to continue the tradition by giving dance music a home on Boston's airwaves."
If you're in the Boston area, and you're a dance music fan, make sure you turn that dial to 101.7 and pump the volume all the way up to welcome your brand new home for all things dance!
