The men's final of the US Open in Flushing, NY on Monday will feature a stunning matchup of Japan's Keil Nishikori and Marin Cilic of Croatia. The two pulled off shocking upsets in the semifinals Saturday against heavy favorites Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer

The 10th-seeded Nishikori became the first Asian man to reach a Grand Slam final with a 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 victory over the top-seeded Djokovic, denying the Serb a fifth straight trip to the final, while Cilic took down five-time U.S. Open champion Federer, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4, and will also be making his first career appearance in a Grand Slam championship.

It will be the first Grand Slam final without Federer, Djokovic, Rafael Nadal or Andy Murray since the 2005 Australian Open when Marat Safin beat Lleyton Hewitt.
