About Jeff Beck's 2016 album LOUD HAILER

"Live In The Dark" is the first single off of Jeff Beck's 11th studio album called LOUD HAILER. This is a follow-up to his 2010 album Emotion & Commotion, which hit #3 on the US Rock Albums Billboard chart. The upcoming record also showcases 10 other new songs, produced by Jeff along with Filippo Cimatti, with help writing the tracks from signer Rosie Bones and guitarist Carmen Vandenberg. Jeff actually met Carmen at Queen drummer Roger Taylor's birthday party. This is Jeff's first album collaborating with Rosie and Carmen.

On the meaning behind the album's title for LOUD HAILER

Loud Hailer is another name for a megaphone, which according to Beck, plays well into the content featured in the record's songs.

"I really wanted to make a statement about some of the nasty things I see going on in the world today, and I loved the idea of being at a rally and using this loud device to shout my point of view."
