Down 31-0 at the half, the Seattle Seahawks made the game interesting with a furious rally in the 2nd half. Russell Wilson tossed three second-half scores but Seattle's rally fell short. In the end, the 31 point deficit was too much as they fell short losing to the Carolina Panthers 31-24 Bank of America Stadium
Cam Newton and the Panthers got off to a fast start, thanks a 59 yard run from Jonathan Stewart which setup a touchdown 3 plays later. On the Seahawks first drive, Luke Kuechly returned a Wilson interception for a touchdown giving the Panthers a 14-0 lead.
The top-seeded Panthers will host the #2 seed Arizona Cardinals next weekend in the NFC Championship game.
