(00:21):
story we saw over the past twenty four to forty
eight hours we will discuss. We're also going to get
into the very latest on the Dion Sanders criticism. For
some reason in Iowa versus Alabama fight broke out on
the air. We've got our midweek awards and the old
p Petros Papaega stops by. It's all yours coming up
next here, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe on
a Wednesday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Give this.
Speaker 1 (00:44):

the hell we feel in here on a Wednesday morning?
Is we inch closer to Columbus?
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:35):
I mean feeling similar to how I was feeling Tuesday
on Monday when you asked that question.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
You don't think that it's like you're starting to veer
towards Okay, we're about to enter the place of potential
greatness going down that Penn State gets getting four and
a half points or four points, depending on where you're shopping,
going into Columbus could actually go down.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I mean we're progressing, you know, we're getting We're getting
better as the week goes on.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
You know, some say we're ahead of schedule.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, what's the potential of greatness? I mean, I think
it's a great game, right, I.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Mean, there is the narrative that it's always a two
team race in the Big Ten, and maybe this is
the year that Penn State.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
So Penn State has to win for it to be
a greatness of a weekness a weekend.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah, hell yeah, first true test for Penn State.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
I don't think that's true either, but you know, I
think it's going to be greatness on the field on
Saturday for both teams.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Listen, it's we are excited about it. And you know,
somebody else who's very well known in Columbus is one
A J. Hawk, now AJ Hawk, the brother in law
of Brady Quinn. He is actually the star of the
Pat McAfee show, and you know, his good buddy Aaron
Rodgers goes on that show on a regular basis every
(02:57):
single week and has been doing so.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah, a little spicy this week, huh.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Well, I mean I think I think Rogers just tried
to calm everybody down because there is this speculation that
maybe could come back from this achilles injury, whether it's
listening to dolphins have sex or whatever he's doing to
try and get ready for the potential return this innovative surgery.
Rogers did talk with Pat McAfee and The Pat McAfee show,
(03:21):
starring previously mentioned a j Hawk, and he told everybody
we do got to calm down just a little bit
as he discussed his recovery.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
We're kind of way ahead, Pat, and just even saying
that there's there's just markers. You know, you saw me
walk without crutches and throw in the field like that's
another marker is going to be jogging, and then another
marker is going to be going through a pregame workout
probably and get on the practice field, and all these
are going to take time. It's not just going to
be you know, there's there's critical markers that have to
(03:52):
hit as far as single like strength and being able
to heel raises and being able to do explosive moments,
and these are all progressions that take time. So this
is obviously we're ahead of schedule. There's a lot of
factors to that. There's the way I've attacked the rehab.
There's obviously the surgery that doctor Elatrock did there's a
(04:13):
rehab that I've done, and kind of the round the
clock approach that I've had. There's implementing the diet that
I've been doing as well, and then just the power
of the power of the mind and the power of
the manifestation of the of the desires. All those things
together still doesn't get you back on the field. You
have to hit a bunch of a bunch of different
things and be feeling a certain way. But you know,
(04:35):
that's that's the goal. We'll see what happens. I'm not
going to put a timetable on it specifically. That makes
absolutely no sense.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
All right, So let's put a timetable on it too
much this season. That's a lot to get. So you
don't you're you're still skeptical. You don't think it happens.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
It's not I don't think it's about being skeptical. I
just think it's about to me being practical. I just
think practicalities of the injury. You know, even if he's
in good enough health to air quotes return to playing,
there's still a lot that goes into that, and I
(05:10):
just don't know how sensible it is or how practical
it is for him to return, and you know who
am I I'm not. I'm not a I'm not a physician.
I'm not I'm not a rehabed therapist specialist or anything
like that. And as as we've mentioned, I mean, there
has been tremendous, tremendous gains and and and moves forward
(05:34):
and how things are done with with surgeries and techniques,
but I still think the body is the body, and
when you have a major surgery, it's still a major surgery.
And you know, I think it's it's cool to have
the conversation. I think it's interesting to hope and be
curious and wonder about it. But in reality, I just
(05:54):
don't see it.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
So you're saying nobody, nobody, nobody, Yeah, nobody. I'll put
it this, I'll put it this way. I am really
hoping he does, though.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
I think that would be one of the coolest things.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I mean, to see someone come back and that fast
or that sort of a time frame, I think it'd
be awesome. So I'm rooting for it. I'm rooting for him.
Two months does seem like a really tight time frame.
And as we talked about yesterday, you know, you got
to wonder too, like what's he coming back for If
they're in the playoff fund, it makes sense. If they're not,
(06:30):
I don't know, you know, then you're kind of like,
all right, like we could be back, but what's the
point of putting you at potential risk of coming back?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
If you know, we could delay this and make sure
you're a thousand percent instead of like one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
So again, I think it's awesome, but I also think
it's interesting he had to make these comments after Robert
Salad had said, like, you know, I'm not putting anything
past him, and like he kind of not that he
stoked the fires to this, but he did make it
kind of known like hey, I'm not you know, I
think there's a chance.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And I think that led to him having to address
like hold on a second, hold on a second, like
it's my body, you know, my bad.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
He did like have to kind of put that out there,
I think, to calm down some of the U I
guess expectations that are out there well, because it does
feel like everyone out there is like feel like, oh
my gosh, Johnson, He's going to be back, going.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
To be back.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
It didn't it didn't. It didn't help, you know, people
not speculating. When he shows up to the game, he's
not on crutches, and he's throwing the football around like
nobody thought that was going to happen at this point.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
How do I know that's not a paid actor, That's
not like a grap You know.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
I get a fair point, fair discussion to have what.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
A sass fifteen shoe on? Yeah, big ass Adidas on. Well,
anyone could wear a size fifteen, specially he admitted. He
admitted it's big on him. Oh, there's the music.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
It's not like it would be the first time that
a injured fallen star would be displayed in pregame or
game festivity. Talking about and then there being question marks
as to if are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Yeah, I can't wait till we find it. I can't
wait till we find out tomorrow Hamlin at a stunt
double at that game. I can't wait till that.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
You will throw up the heart fingers. That's how you
knew it was right. That's how we knew it was him.
How you know it was him?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
You couldn't see its face while he threw up the
heart fingers.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
It had to be him.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
You start, by the way, if you go down that hole,
like you start looking into it. There is all types
of crazy theories on. There's like Illuminati theories, there's it
is nuts. If if you take the time to go there,
it gets crazy. Like did you see the ambulance that
picked up Why can't I think of the running.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Backs Damien Harris?
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Thank you? It had three, yeah, and three on the door.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yeah, Hamlin number three, mm hmm, yeah, don't thank you.
Uh yeah, I just uh there's a lot that goes
into uh well, I am open to any conspiracy theory.
I'm not one of these a holes that shuts it
(09:23):
down because I'm scared of somebody having a different opinion.
I'm open to all of it. You've got a conspiracy theory,
throw it at me, all right, Throw everything at me.
And Brady's point, wide open, wide open, Drive a truck through.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
It if you spread whoa, that's what.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
I'm talking about. Now, do you believe.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
The right your jets?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Cool, your damn jets now. I also was curious to
get your guys' thoughts on this. I know this came
out last week. We didn't have a chance to discuss
it though. You know the fact that Rogers is making
these appearances on the Pat McAfee show, and people in
like a gotcha moment. It was like, oh, these are
all paid hits. He's been paid millions of dollars to
(10:09):
make an appearance on that show. Yeah, because nobody else
on sports radio does paid appearances or on sports TV.
All of this is free. And if Rogers takes a
check from these guys, then it seems disingenuous that he
appears on the show paid gigs.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Horror, Why does that matter?
Speaker 1 (10:27):
That's the point. And Pat McAfee was like the fact
that people are at me on this and trying to say, well,
Rogers gets paid millions of dollars and he's gotten paid millions,
and so does Nick Saban and so on and so forth.
It's like this has gone on in sports media for years.
Tom Brady's not showing up on Boston radio for free.
(10:47):
Belichick's not showing up for free on Boston Radio. They're
getting paid.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
I do radio hits start free.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
I'll be honest with you a few weeks, I'll be
real like, now that money goes to foundation, but like
I would be doing taking time out of my day
to do it wise.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Fully transparent that it was like three.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I do a week literally throughout the football season, surely
because they're paying me to be there.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
I do that. I missed something. I do this show
for free. Do you really that's true? I make no
money doing this shows the graduates?
Speaker 4 (11:26):
What is I get up and I get to and
it is graduate hotels.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
It is great, great perks.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
But I get to you know, hone my skills and
and and grow my my brain power by working with
you guys. And that's that's tremendous payment enough to say, Man.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
I didn't think we're going to go there in the
first segment of today's show. Yeah, that's that's not the truth.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
I mean I kind of like.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Okay, but but you know, it sounds good. Yeah it
sounded good. Maybe it sounds good. Maybe feel good for
a second. It too great to be paid somewhere something?
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Yeah, I get paid some knowledge Taylor Swift one of
these games for freeish?
Speaker 2 (12:11):
I mean, it's a great question.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
By the way, I did hear she uh bought out
one of those suites for the rest of the year
at Earrawhead Stadium.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Really that?
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
I heard that.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
Well, she's making a billion dollars singing, and I don't
think she dances, but she's singing or well it could be.
You know, I have somewhere to put them. Billions. I've
been watching Billions. I like that show. Have you ever
a great show?
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Right? It's really cool show. It's kind of based off
a guy that that I know. Is it really? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Yeah, tell me tell me more like the main guy,
like Brodie from from Homeland.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Well yeah, yeah, the main guy.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Never seen it.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
It's a great show. It's a it's a really really
it's very relatable to you Jonas.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, sounds like a Billions. I mean makes sense. You
see what I drive. That makes all the sense in
the world.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Well, if you add up all your betting losses, I
mean I've been wearing the millions.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Now you just not bet that money, you'd have.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Millions totally inaccurate. Although I will say, I will say
it's not true. I mean that's no because I don't bet,
and now I know.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
That's what I'm saying is it's not about how much
you bet, it's the frequency of betting.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Oh yeah, listen, you had.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Liberty last night, didn't cover, got the win, didn't cover.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
No. I watched those games because I'm a fan.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Yeah, right, right, so Chadwell fan.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
I mean, look, I like Dallas minus one and a
half on Monday Night football. That was a win Knox Locks.
I mean, I'm in the green right now at least
a couple of games up for the season on Knox Locks.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
But that doesn't win you money with the VIG.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Don't worry about the viig. Don't worry about the juice.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
You have to worry about the Vegas.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Take any money, not not if you're doing this on
the radio and you're just looking at wins and losses, okay,
and you don't need to give out the dirty details
of all the money. I really am losing to people
the way.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
You've probably been up since you stopped giving out those
terrible bets from Live bet Jesus that was like a
weekly loss.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Wow. So bang bang bang, you're coming at LBJ like that,
the real LBJ. How dare you listen? You keep this up?
He might he might bet on a badminton game in Indonesia.
You never know. I'd love to say he'll he'll pop
off on it.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
He'll probably be in the final point or however the
hell they tabulate.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
And then and then you and you and lead the
lap will scumbag it up and try to him on
the air, get.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
In here to defend us.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
I mean, how many times did you did you did
live bet? Jesus excuse me, Bet on the end of
a soccer match with like four minutes left.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
That was absolutely he would first half screw you. Lee.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Oh it's a baseball game. It's in the eighth inning,
like it's always late.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
All right, well, listen, I don't know that. I'm not
going to sit here and try and defend him. I mean,
I have nothing to do with his pig show up anymore.
All right, Well, you.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Know I've been around when he showed up, though. I
mean it's impressive when he shows up. It's it's just
that the results are a tad big question.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Yeah, man, you know what I would say if he
came back, I just be like, up top, you know,
Oh wow, you went all the way up top. Dang,
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (15:20):
Tang.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
Now, that isn't up top right there, and we're top
top high five. It's not Sam you hit us with
with the with the thunder when you went up top
with it and it just didn't happen again, it just
wasn't high enough. You gotta go hire Brady, Come on,
go go hireq Oop top.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Time here sit here and mock him to sit here.
You know you guys should get a pop ten bucks
last famous passive progressive pay your finds first pal.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
You give heavenly high five, don't you.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I plan on paying my fines on Friday.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
In how much exactly is that? Jonas knocks, Yeah, thousands,
it's it's up there.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
It's a curly.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Interesting I'll set up a payment plan, okay, and it's
very simple. It'll you know, it just involves. What I'm
gonna do is I'm gonna give you guys each twenty
bucks on Friday. I'll give you twenty bucks. I want
you guys to give me just just hear me out.
We don't want the money, okay, just hear me out
for the children. But you can divvy it out to
whoever you want. But just hear me out on this.
(16:22):
I'm gonna give you guys twenty bucks on Friday. Give
me back at ten, throw me back another five. I'll
give you that five back. You give me back a twenty,
then another ten, and I'll give you like a couple
of bucks afterwards. We should be square, Yeah, that was
really funny.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
I'm just saying, put that together.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
I'm not joking around here. I'm trying to pay these
Jesus man, that's okay. I bet Jesus your heart all right? Well,
hate this, Let go of that, John. It is Two
Pros on Fox Sports Radio. He's Lebar Arrington. That guy's
Brady Quinn. I'm Jonah.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Shut it out. You won't see him out, fid y'all
won't see my face through you.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
So we are gonna have the usuals coming up later on.
We got another edition of in case you missed it.
We've also got our midweek Awards. The old p Petros
Papadega stops by. We got the BQ News in hour three.
It's all yours here again until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock Pacific. But we do have ourselves a look
around the league because it was a banner day for
one position group in the NFL, and we'll tell you
(17:27):
why that is. That's next.
Speaker 7 (17:29):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
You're like noon, no man, no man, no man, and babing.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
What a key? Yeah, it's out to the sweat man.
Every time you say Boddy, that's what I think of.
I don't know why, no.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Body, no body.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
They played a song. When you ask people in Iowa
who scored for the Hawkeyes.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
As song, Oh wow, yeah they do.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Oh wow, Hey man got that Heartland Trophy.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
They are next up the Floyd of Rosedale.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Damn right. Uh They've only got one.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Loss, right, Yeah, they could be playing the Big Ten
championship game. That's that's how hot their schedule is.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
That one loss. That was a loss all right as well.
If you're gonna if you're gonna do it, do it right, Yeah,
do it right. It is two pros and a cup
of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady
Quinn Jonas knocks with you all right. Coming up in
twenty minutes from now here from the tire rack dot
Com studio. Somebody may have been caught in a lie
in the NFL, may have been caught red handed in
(18:57):
a lie. We will tell you who that is and
vestigator for that for ourselves. Here on the show coming
up again twenty minutes from now. All right, so just
a banner day for the wide receiver position in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Oh what happened in.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
And around the NFL yesterday and then you know, over
the past couple of days, I would say, first and foremost,
Julio Jones is back. He is now a member of
the Philadelphia Eagles, because of course the Eagles would sign
you know, a guy who's a potential Hall of Famers
on the open market, of course, because that's what Philadelphia does.
They continue to add talent, so that to go along
with Devonte Smith and AJ Brown and Dallas Goddard and
(19:34):
all the other weapons they have there on offense in Philly,
they add Julio Jones. He's back. So nice little sec
connection there in the wide receiver room with AJ Brown
and obviously Smith and now Jones. Philly adds another piece there,
So more talent on the roster for Siriannity use how
we feel about that.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
I mean, he's got a ton of experience. I think
he can be reliable when you need him. He was
one of the best receivers in the NFL in NFL history,
and when when he was at his peak.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
So I like the move for that.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
That's from that standpoint, it's just you know, we're we're
not quite halfway through the season.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
I do find it interesting when front offices make.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Certain moves to bring in guys who you know, look
as good as Julio Jones is. He's not going to
be a j Brown or Davonte Smith and so at
best he's the third option maybe, and that probably comes
after the you know, running backs, tight ends, wide receivers,
nick name your pick, who's going to be that option
And he's not going to help you on special teams.
So it's a roster spot that's really devoted to saying
(20:38):
we want to take this guy because we feel like
he can help us. And maybe that's down in the
red zone. I know a lot of teams have really
struggled with their offensive play in the red zone, and
you know, maybe he can help us once we get
into the playoffs and we and we have to have
a difference maker out there that we feel good about
his experience as a mismatch. But outside of that, it's
(20:58):
it's kind of an interesting move.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
And I think if he shows he can still run
run good routes, he doesn't even have to be crazy fast.
I think just because of the respect factor that he
would bring to to the field, it I could see
it being him being a possession receiver for one, and
special situations like you mentioned, maybe zone, but maybe even
(21:23):
just it could be short yardage situations, but it could
be decoy situations as well.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
He was pretty good in the playoff game for Tampa
last year.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
I think, if you have to roll coverages or you
can't again, and it's so interesting, I had this conversation
yesterday as well, and I just think it's going to
become a prevalent conversation that the National Football League is
going to turn into man to man coverage, like zone
coverages are going to become a a like a scarce option.
(21:54):
You're going to have to play man to man in
the National Football League just because of the way the
rules are set up, the way penalties are being called,
just you know, the amount of time that quarterbacks have,
it's you're just going to have to play man and
try to overload the line. So if you're doing that,
the more guys that you have that can handle man
de man coverage as well, the better off you're going
(22:17):
to be. And maybe this is just a response to
them losing their first game. You know me, it's like, hey,
we need a little bit more firepower. Julio Jones is
out there.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Let's go. Yes, I feel like it's like a panic moves.
What do we do? How did we lose? Hit the
panic button there? Jones needs to be a Hall of Famer. Okay,
let's yeah, yeah, go get them.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Well, I mean, ah, we do.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
That's the problem, like join us.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
When you walk into some of his front offices, you know,
that's how they react.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I'm not lying.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
You walk in like it's like the the cap crunch
numbers guys. You know, they're not like the players who
are like, oh man, you know what, we got another
one next week.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
We'll get out there.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
They got to be the ones to make it all
make sense. Ah yeah, well listen, I mean he's there,
and it's another opportunity for you know, the Alabama connection
to be rekindled elsewhere, not just with DeVante Smith, but
now you've got you know, Jalen Hurts and you've got
Julio and you've got so there's at least some options there.
(23:15):
But it is it is funny how it's always the
usual suspects. It's always teams like Miami and Philly and
San Francisco who are adding all of the players that
are out there and players that have legitimate credentials to
their career. It's always those same same team. It's like
with the RAM go to those places you don't think
you laeve did Julio Jones have some options elsewhere? Do
(23:36):
you think?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Probably not?
Speaker 4 (23:38):
But with that being said, maybe they didn't think they
were a viable option to go Taco Julio in the
first place.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
You know, well, you know there's a former Eagles wide
receiver who's in the news also, but for different reasons.
As we continue to take a gander around the wide
receiver stories in the NFL, Terrell Owens hit by a
car on Monday night, a possible intentional act following a
pickup basketball game. I mean, listen in borderline skid Row, Calabasas, California.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Whoa Calabasas, nice man.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
It's rough out there in Calabasas, you knowing facilities, I've
been to. It a little surprising that that would happen
in Calabasas this time of year, because you know, pumpkin
in Spanish is Calabasa. You know, I don't know if
you guys are aware of that. You knew that, well, yeah,
it's a home game for me. Yes, you know, Soterrell
Owens hit potentially he gets into some sort of a
(24:37):
beef with some guy at a pick.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Up Okay, right, yeah, they disclosed what type of car was.
Was it like a Rolls Royce or Spur or Lamborghini.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
I think it was a Chevy Malibu, which coincidentally enough
is what Lee drives. So I don't know if we
had anything to do with it, but you know, it
might have been pissed off about some fantasy football transaction
that went wrong starring t O years ago.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Let's serious, he's okay though. This was like no serious injuries.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
No, I didn't need medical attention or anything like that,
so he should be good. You know, a little hit
and run never hurt anybody.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
I mean, but there were.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
A couple of former pro receivers, like top end receivers
that made the news.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Yes, well yeah, I was just gonna say it is
possible considering the area that maybe the person driving the
car thought Torell Owens was that mountain lion that was
hopping across the freeway because that isn't the same area. Wow.
So I'm just I'm just saying that that is a post.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Are apparently not cares whatsoever.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
You gotta ask though, because they did take K nine
up out of here, man k KP nine was like
a beloved servant of the community.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Yeah you know P two got Yeah.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
There.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
By the way, Sam, can we hear your your mountain
lion sound effect? Please? Sounds just like a like a
regular lion, So I don't know if they sound like that.
But we then transitioned.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Over to the the.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Final story from the Wide Receiver roundabout here on a
Wednesday morning, Lebar's guy, Antonio Brown has been arrested. Oh no,
Lebar arrested, failure.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Arrested, Antonio arrested.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah, but your guy Antonio Brown, he was arrested for
failure to pay was a child support? Is that what
finally got him booming?
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Not really I could, but not booming. Let's come out
with a sequel.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
That's going on with your guy there.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
Listen, if if you got all that money man, which
I ain't in nobody's pocket, but would you got all
that money pocket.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
While it was in my pocket? Talking about fines.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
Yeah, just pay your child support so you ain't got
to be in in the news about something like this
man that's you know, support your child.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
He's the daddy.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Thank you, Jerry. Okay, who knew Jerry Jones is going
to stop by this early in the morning. Great to
hear from mister Jones.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Seriously, how you guys feel about that?
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Like when you hear that that someone like Antonio Brown,
it just to me, this just further's further continues to
solidify that he needs help, like he needs like and
I almost feel like it's an intervention help, not yes,
not just passive help.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Can help?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Can I be honest with you, I couldn't care less.
I don't have time for that crap my life. If
the guy wants to be a zero, let him be
a zero. I'm not going to waste my time worrying
about whether or not he can quote unquote get it
together after he's had every opportunity in the world. Sorry,
but what if he really needs help?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Jonas well? If he needs help, he needs to get
some milk. You know, he needs some help. You know milk, I.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Mean to go get some help. You want to, like,
you can't you can only do so much. People gotta
want to help themselves.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
People need help. And I know you know, Jonas, I
know you're you're well versed on it.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
What do you mean.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Made by heat?
Speaker 4 (28:29):
Cook it him downstairs, cook.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
Cook it.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
I love Bernie back.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Him downstairs. He said, you need to get some milk
and cook.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Hey, Bernie Max in the open our show every morning.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
By the way, that that is that's Jonas his favorite.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
I could have imagine though, when they was grabbing up
Antonio Brown hit that one again, hit that one again, said.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
That's what happened.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
When they was walking them off and they tame to
the car and he's like, oh you fat.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
More than that.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
I could see Antonio Brown having that dialogue on his
way to the car.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Man every time. By the way, the Players Club probably
was not meant to be a comedy and turned into
one of the great comedies of all time. There's some
questionable scenes in there.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Sir, you are under arresting.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
With Jamie Fox is the DJ. He's like, you know,
they say tricks a for kids, and she's got forty
of them, so good?
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Oh man.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
But again, uh, you know Antonio Brown, who knows figure
it out.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
You know, in these moments, you just always when you
see a guy like him, you see so many people
around him. You know, he has such posse, entourage, support
group of sorts, and in these moments, you start to
think to yourself, man, where are all these people that
(30:22):
be around you know? I bet you if I were
a betting man, I bet you there's dudes that are
sleep in his home right now while he's locked up,
you know. And that's kind of the lifestyle that a
lot of pro athletes and slash now pro athletes slash
(30:43):
think they're entertainers type dudes. They live those type of lives.
And then you start to think to yourself, what do
I have all of these people around me for?
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Coming up next here, somebody in the NFL may have

Good morning, everybody, Morning, Joda's Morning, Brady Morning LeVar.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Guys.
Speaker 9 (32:43):
In case anybody missed that Monday night football game between
the Chargers.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
That's right.
Speaker 9 (32:52):
In case anybody did miss that game between the Chargers
and the Cowboys, you might have missed the viral the
fan that went viral, that crazy Chargers fan, and Mary
Anteau is her name. A lot of people have been
calling out her fandom, thinking that she was maybe a plant,
a planted actor. Lambers Hey Brady, seeing that they had
cut to her so many times, been such a crazy reaction. Well,
(33:14):
she's been making the rounds on TMZ on the Pat
McAfee show, along with Aaron Rodgers, defending her fandom and
addressing photos of her dressed up as a Minnesota Vikings
fan with the whole face paint and all that stuff,
saying she had grown up in Minnesota before moving to
California almost twenty years ago, and supports fans being able
(33:34):
to support two teams.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
Yeah, I mean I.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Thought the explanation was her son plays on a little
league team, that she has four kids.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
That was the Vikings. I thought that was the explanation
for the Vikings.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
That is also the partial explanation.
Speaker 9 (33:49):
Yes that she is also from Minnesota, but yes, she
also has one of her son's plays for a Vikings
team here locally.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Which would make way more sense other than the two teams,
because I gotta be honest with you, I don't know
many people there root for two teams.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Well I'm not even get to go. Uh yeah, listen California. Yes,
hey Brady, I'll throw it up. You put it down, baby,
you'd say it Knoxter Quinn by the Laop. Listen if
(34:23):
you if you go to a game and you're shown
that many times on camera and then you start popping
up on interviews the next day, it's like, what are
we doing here? Like this is it's so obvious that
this is like why is the why is the NFL
going down this road? We don't need this crap? Why
just let us watch the football game and mix it
up a little bit. Show another fan with a crazy reaction.
(34:45):
What Eddie Garcia and his wife don't show up to
one Chargers game and now somebody else has got to
get on TV. It's disgusting. I'm sick of this far.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
I'm not in it.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
I mean, your your family was at the Rams Cardinals game.
I don't see them showing out shots fired. I'm just
saying I don't see them. I don't see them trying
to steal attention during during a game like that, And so.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Can I be honest?
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Though I could have sworn I've seen her in like
a movie, not as a main role or a show,
but it's like an extra or something like her her
face is really snowing out.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
So, I mean, maybe that's why she moved to California.
I wanted to become an actress. There you go put
them in that surely charged listen to Pam Anderson was
discovered at a sporting event. I think she might have
been like a Lakers game or a Kings game, and
everyone said, and what's going on there? And then next
thing you know, next thing you know Diamon Star, next
(35:46):
thing you know her and I have the same barbed
wire tattoo, and all these years later.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
And she had a Netflix special before there was a Netflix.
The only difference is you're not wearing a red bikini.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
That is well, you never know.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Nothing at all?
Speaker 1 (36:02):
And why would you never know?
Speaker 2 (36:03):
Brady? I'm not gonna get into this.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
Come on, you know you want another alley oop here?
No fee. In one segment in California, Quinn with the
jam all.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Right, Lee?
Speaker 1 (36:18):
What else was that when Pam Andrew was she actually
rocking to the Bat's blue.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
Blue? Don't do that. Don't get carried away.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
I think she I think it was a labat's blue. Yeah,
the bat blue, bat blue. Come on, I know you're
Canadian beer. I've had a little bat blue, So have
I many over.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
I have a little bat every day.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Yeah, you do.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
What?
Speaker 1 (36:46):
I've got a thimble?
Speaker 2 (36:48):
Lee?
Speaker 1 (36:48):
What do we what else we got there, guys?
Speaker 9 (36:50):
In case you miss it, A story, a little bit
of a problem, A story that went viral yesterday for
some reason. Uh, Mike Florio's report that Caleb Williams and
his representatives have made it known that they want partial
ownership of the NFL team that drafts him in the
twenty twenty four draft, that is, if he decides to
enter it.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
The problem is is that this story is from July.
Speaker 9 (37:09):
Yeah, I'm not sure exactly why I went viral yesterday,
but there you go, case missed it.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Here's why Rady's guy Dove or Dove Climate. I think
as the good person who started sending So this guy,
uh whatever his name is, Dough Climbing or whatever that
weirdo's name is. He he retweets this story and like
reports it as like a new development. It's from July, remember,
(37:34):
because Rogers was also discussed well he wanted partial ownership.
Why is this all of a sudden pop up months later?
Speaker 4 (37:42):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Was it that slow of a day yesterday nobody had
any any information on Terrell Owens getting hit like a
mountain lion in Calabasas. They had a rum with this story.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
I don't know, not sure, don't care. I mean, it's
an old story. It's not going to happen. If it's
going to happen, it's going to happen for you know,
someone like Aaron Rodgers or Patch Mahomes who's got equity
in the league, so they get equity in the team,
you know, like where they are a future Hall of Famer.
They are the best in the league. That would be
the only press that I could see it, you know,
(38:12):
happening for the other only. The only thing I'm curious
about is if the new owners, given that they didn't
grow up in the NFL or something passed down to
the family, if they would be more apt to do
this as opposed to older owners, because I don't believe
it's written in the CBA, but I'm sure it will
be shortly after this.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Got what else we got?
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Lead?
Speaker 9 (38:32):
Well, guys, the NFL is aiming to host a twenty
twenty four game in either Madrid or Brazil. Now that
Mexico City's a studio with Texas.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Zil Jonas wants to go, buddy, Yeah, that too.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
I'll make it work. Don't worry. I got time to
figure it out before then. When do you think they're
going to have NFL games, like, like an actual NFL.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Do you think they're going to really do that? No?
Speaker 1 (38:53):
Seriously, what do you think they're going to start having
an NFL in Chicago? Do you think Chicago might get
NFL soon?
Speaker 2 (38:57):
Or no? Wow? What?
Speaker 7 (39:02):
