feel in here on this Wednesday morning at better than Jonas? Yeah,

(01:45):
we feel good.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Why do you feel good?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Because I finally got some acknowledgment from Coop on the
new banger that I chose for the for the open
of the show. About time, Coop, hey some respects. Yeah,
it wasn't very good.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Damn we're gonna start off the show today, Jonas.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Is that a new commando's hat? It's Commanders where you go?
All right? We're back? We are back.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Oh go.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
All right? So with that being said, how are you
guys doing everybody good? I'll feeling good here on this
on this Wednesday, everybody fired up.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I can't touch a break traveling, man, It's unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Delays are one thing with flights, But then as I
as I'm heading out getting into the car to head
up to where I'm staying, I tell the driver's like, hey,
there's just a road shut down. You're gonna have to
go a certain route. She didn't want to listen, man,
didn't want to listen. That trip that should have been

(02:52):
forty minutes forty five minutes turned.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Into an hour and a half.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
She was very surprised when we hit a whole lot
of traffic on one This is why they're going to
replace y'all with robots.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I was like, I'm just telling you right now. I was.
I was open with her.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
I said, they're gonna they're gonna replace y'all with driverless cars.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
I'm just telling you right now. I've already witnessed. Bro.
We were a part of it. I saw the future.
I was there, we were all there. Yeah. I kept
thinking to myself that waybo would have taken the right way.
She didn't. She didn't listen.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah, and then you find out it's some part time
or in the Philippines with a remote control.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
I don't grant that if he's going the right way.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
He's he's he swapped out some homeless guy on drugs
for hey, you know, let me let me install a uh,
you know, a legendary quarterback as my as my guy
in the car, and let me go ahead and to
throw a couple of employees as well too, and let
me just go ahead and kind of steer him around
the streets of San Francisco and nobody's going to notice anything,
and you just drop off and they miraculously just pull

(03:53):
off and disappear, and everyone says, oh my god, it's
just the greatest invention in the world, only to find
out it's some dude in Manila who's sitting there operating
the entire thing from a shack, and everybody's it's a
con job that everybody.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Believed and it would have been better than what I
had last night.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
But I will say this, that day was very revealing
for me LeVar with Jonas because the second he got
to attack something that couldn't attack him back, he took
that opportunity. And then we thought that was that was
very revealing talking trash to a wavebout.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
And that that's that's a bunch of bs, because then
we find out there is somebody to attack, and it's
some guy controlling the car from the Philippines.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Okay, I guy who's also probably you know, you know,
a buck thirty five ft two, you know, just trying
to do his job over there.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
He's better than that, I mean, I don't know him
and Kyler Murray probably about the same height.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
That is points well done.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
It is both both needed job.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
You ain't got a job.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
You ain't got no job.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Speaking speaking of jobs, whoa, I bet you those Twitter trolls,
I bet you they had what they if they thought
they knew today, I bet you things would change, all right.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Damn enough with the blame game, right hand.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
I wish people actually did the truth of what you
just said. That would be amazing. That is so vicious.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Oh yeah, Sometimes you get blamed for stuff that you
had nothing to do with.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Hey, yeah, and then there's a reprieve.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
And then there's a reprieve.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
You know, I don't know that there will be a
public reprieve, but there definitely was a reprieve. I'm sure
somebody in the Arizona Cardinals organization feels the same exact.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Way, Yeah, moving forward, they might. Kyler Murray will be
released by the Arizona Cardinals when the new league year
opens up next Wednesday, is reported yesterday, which was according
to these reports, Murray's preferred outcome. He wanted to be released.
He's already guaranteed just under thirty seven million dollars for

(06:26):
next year. Mike Floyer reporting there two teams he'd prefer
to go to. The Raiders and the Vikings were teams
that he would have been interested in. To me, Minnesota
feels like option A, and that seems like the one
that would make the most sense. We talked about it
earlier this week that you got quarterbacks around the league

(06:48):
that look at that situation and set up and go,
that's one I want to be a part of, and
it might financially make sense from Minnesota's standpoint to where Look,
Russell Wilson did this with the Steelers, where the former
team was on the hook for most of the bill.
You shine assign a small deal that the new team
has to pay out, and cost effective wise, you basically

(07:10):
just run it for a year with Kyler, get your
competition for JJ McCarthy, and then go from there.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
It seems like it would make the most sense. I
have thoughts on a bogoie q.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Well, no, I was to say, you know, he's already
earned over one hundred and seventy million in this career
so far.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
I mean, that's that's pretty darn good.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
And I wonder we talk about numbers oftentimes about how
much guys have made at this point, because I always
wonder what are they going to be most attracted to
with this next opportunity for him? It might just be
an opportunity because of how things have worked out so
far in Arizona.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
But you know, is it money or is it the
best situation possible.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
You know, we've heard a lot of ties to the
potential of Minnesota that'd be really intriguing to see. You
have Kevin O'Connell's the play caller, you have Justin Jefferson,
who's arguably the best receiver in the NFL. I could
see that that could make a lot of sense. You know,
we talked about, you know, the New York Jets yesterday
with Pete Prisco.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
What are they gonna do? I mean, do they go
that route?

Speaker 4 (08:09):
It feels like there's a number of organizations that are
positioned themselves to tag maybe for your next year's draft
class while they rebuild around the quarterback position, and maybe
there's something that feel like they're they're more in a
window to compete win right now. He's just such a
unique talent. And in saying that, there's definitely some drawbacks.

(08:30):
But he's a player that you know, if he's healthy,
he could run, he could hurt you with his legs.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
He can make all the throws.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
But I do think the offense, if you looked at
primarily what they did in Arizona, you're gonna be in
shotgun a lot. You're not gonna be under center. That
matters for some coaches versus others. You know, I told
you guys a little bit just doing some of the
Falcons games last year. You know the conversations they had
with about Bejon robertson when the quarterback was under center,
how much better of a running back he was. He

(08:58):
was averaging almost two more yards per attempt when quarterbacks
were under center a center in Atlanta last year when
they were running the football. And so if you're in
OC and you're seeing this dat and you're looking at
it saying, man, we're actually averaging two more yards of
carry with our best player, arguably the best running back
in the league, it's hard not to want to say,

(09:20):
we need to do more stuff from under center. We
need to do more play action from under center too.
Off of that and and boots and everything else that
goes with it. Well, when you have a quarterback that's
the size of Kyler Murray, you can make that work.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
But it's a lot.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
More obvious that you're not gonna be doing as much
drop back pass because you can't see I mean, there's
it's just hard to define throwing land unless he's getting
out of the pocket or setting deep deep back into
the pocket. So that's the that's the one drawback to
Kyler Murray is even though he's a talent is experienced
that I think he's, you know, one of those guys

(09:54):
it's it's worth bringing him in if you want to
try to win some football games.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
There's gonna be some things that are gonna change.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
And if you look at Minnesota specifically, I look at
that pairing and say, yeah, that'd be it'd be great
to see what he'd looked like in that system. But
I don't know that that would help justin Jefferson get
more attempts. You know what, we're excusing more targets during
the course of a game. I just I feel like
they might be somewhat more limited with his ability, just
sheerly from his size. I mean, I know we joke

(10:21):
about it sometimes, but in all honesty, it does play
a factor.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
And everything, well, it plays a factor because he has
an injury history as well, right like he dealt with
the foot, the Liz Frank injury this this past season,
He's gone through an ACL repair and and I mean
he's he's not old by any stretch of the imagination,
but he's certainly not young. So his size and his

(10:50):
health certainly needs to to play play a part. And
if you take a chance, I think this is a
Boom or Bush set up. I wonder what him being released.
I wonder what his price tag will be from him
and his representation. That could play a major part in it.

(11:13):
He may demand and command a franchise quarterbacks contract. How
will the franchises respond to that? Or there could be
the possibility that he wants to go somewhere where he
can get some get back for the way. You know,
players always feel like they were treated a certain way

(11:33):
when relationships in this way, you can assume that he's
happy about the situation with Arizona. Thus the report saying
that this is the outcome that he wanted was to
get out of there. I heard you mentioned a team
yesterday when we were talking about potential destinations of quarterbacks

(11:55):
going and one of the teams that was thrown out
there was pretty interesting. And the first thing I thought
about when I heard this was this could be a potential,
very very big, big opportunity to everybody to get something
that they would want out of It could be the Rams.

(12:16):
The Rams could be an interesting landing place. He's familiar
with the division. It's it's a division that was, you know,
it was top heavy with two teams and the Rams
being the second team to Seattle Seahawks. And he get
an opportunity to play against the team that in some
type of you know, in some ways threw shade at him.

(12:40):
I mean the whole video game and in the in
the contract, the constant badgering and conversations that played out
in the public and in the media about his his
you know, questioning his his dedication or his maturity level.
Get off of the video games, get into playbook things
like that. I mean he could. More often than not,

(13:03):
high level competitive guys would love to get an opportunity
to get back at their team. I know I did
you know I had an opportunity to go to Green Bay.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
I chose far from there, right.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Yeah, well right city, right, yeah, you're now that I'm
thinking about it, we get.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
A round of a philosopher Brady going point that way
to appeal to gamers.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
It would be interesting to see what Mike McCarthy wants
to do in Pittsburgh. You know, that could be an
interesting destination. If I'm him, I probably want to stay
away from the Jets and I probably don't want to
talk that. Yeah, there's a little bit, but there's This
makes it a very interesting situation that it's a release
else you know, well it's a it's a release out

(14:00):
a trade. So this will make for an interesting scenario
as to how it plays out. One where does Kyler
Murray want to play?

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Two?

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Who wants them?

Speaker 5 (14:09):
And three are they going to be able to meet
halfway in terms of what what they're going to want
to give or what they're going to want to take?

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Can I can I read the social real quick go ahead?

Speaker 4 (14:22):
One of the reasons why he wanted the release too
is I don't believe he had no trade clause in
this contract, so he didn't want to leave it up
to Arizona to send him to whichever team was the
highest bidder via trade.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
So I think that had something to do with it.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Two and just the fact that if you looked at
the structure of the contract, you know it was going
to be a significant cap hit, and I don't know
that he wanted to put himself in a situation where
he didn't have any you know, guaranteed moneies you know,
left on that deal. So that most likely was why
he opted for said it was like the scenario that

(14:59):
he wanted. I think I think it works for both parties.
You know, at the end of the day too, wherever
he signs, like they could get some compensitory draft picks
that come their way, and so it probably works out
in the end if you really think about it, like
that's kind of likestory. Yeah, when he goes and why
is that if they're releasing him, he's released.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Right, How does that work?

Speaker 3 (15:21):
That's correct?

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Because when you have when you move on and they
have a guy signed somewhere else, there'll oftentimes be you know,
depending on what they bring in and what they let go,
they'll be rewarded compensitory picks, like a third round compensatory pick. Yeah,
I wish I could explain the formula to you, but
it's like the most vague thing ever, And it's just

(15:43):
it's how it works, right.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Because I was confused as to why you would release
him if he has trade value.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Why he probably felt like they'll get a compensatory pick
out of it based on where he'll sign, probably a
third rounder, and because that's probably what they could get anyway.
But again, it's a very confusing process. If you look at,
for example, the fact that, uh, the Atlanta Falcons, you know,
get a general manager who comes from the Chicago Bears,

(16:11):
and you know, you think falls into a certain category
and the Bears they would get some you know, draft pis.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah, but of course they they say, Matt Riens the
whole decision maker.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
So however that works, you know, the Bears don't get
any convent story picks.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
So by the way, I heard that Kyler Murray actually
that was part of the concessions made in his contract
with the no trade. Uh, he'd be given the ability
to play Call of Duty four nights a week. So
that was part of the get back on some of
the feelings that they had there. I'm just listen. I'm
just reading what what I was down is.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
He Actually he did have a good tweet like his was.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
A very and I was going to get to that
because Lebar makes it out like the guy might have
some venom in his in his body. Ready to get
back at.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
The cart in there?

Speaker 1 (16:58):
All right? So this is this is from Kyler Murray.
This sounds like a very humble and gracious human being,
all right. From Kyler Murray to everyone that supported me
and showed kindness to my family and during my time
in Arizona, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I wanted nothing more than to be the one to
end the seventy seven year drought for this organization. I'm
sorry I failed us. I wish this community and my

(17:19):
brothers nothing but the best. I am no stranger to adversity.
I'm prepared for whatever's next. I trust in God and
my work ethic. I truly believe my best ball is
in front of me and I look forward to proving it.
God speed. That sounds like that didn't sound like somebody
who's ready for some get back on the Cardinals A right,
that sounds like somebody who's appreciative. And then he's going

(17:39):
to go somewhere else now and try and pursue his
dream of winning a super Bowl. That's what it reads.
It's a good approach to the rules of engagement.

Speaker 5 (17:49):
So he learned a little bit more than just switching
weapons on duty.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
I can't believe.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
It, do.

Speaker 6 (18:02):
You.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
I mean, I haven't been a gamer for a while.
Is it mostly call of duty?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
You think? Because it wasn't that what it's synced.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
Up with, Where like his useless time and all that
kind of synced up with the call of duty release?

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Uh? I think, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know.
I'm a chess guy.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
But you like him.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
He's taking shots of you know far you like him.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Bigger or small bag?

Speaker 7 (18:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Whatever? Yeah, so hey, we'll get to see, uh, because
if you look around, there's I don't know that there
are many as many options as maybe there might seem
on the surface for him.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
He's going to.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Be the most desired of all the potential quarterbacks you'd
bring in.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Is that a fair way of putting it.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
But Pittsburgh. I could. I could see, if you know,
if they decide, Although if you're Pittsburgh, would you wait
around for Rodgers to make the decision or would you
try and give the suspend with Kyler Murray and say.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Hey, can I throw this out there? Yeah, I think
everyone's waiting on Minnesota. I don't think it's about Pittsburgh
because I even think Rogers falls in that category, you know,
with the sniffing around that's been done in the past
by both sides.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
I mean, I think the only thing that.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Could be holding back Aaron Rodgers for wanted to go
to Minnesota and finish his career there is the whole
playing the Packers twice a year, but also the fact that,
like that's what Brett did. I mean, they didn't follow
the exact same path, but it's pretty damn close, you know,
like there was a Pittsburgh stop in between, and that's
been the only difference. But could you imagine if Rogers

(19:43):
went to Minnesota to and finish his career there. I mean,
that's with that team around him and Justin Jefferson to
throw to him. My goodness, But I do think that's
the domino. I think whatever Minnesota decides to do. It's
that desirable of an organized from every capacity. They look
at the nfl PA report cards or the ones excuse me,

(20:05):
that got elite that the pas or whoever they're defining them,
it's one of the best organizations. They take care of
the players. Kevin O'Connor's got an incredible relationship with his
players and reputation amongst players.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
I can't understate how good Justin Jefferson is.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
And for a quarterback like that is, you know, if
you're going to try to leave and go some you
want a guy who can separate, who can make contested catches,
who can do it all.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
He's that. So I look at it and say, that
to me is the dominoes.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
And it's not even what quarter that's not what quarterback necessarily,
it's just what they decide to do.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
And then I think everything else falls falls into place.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
It's got to be an awkward feeling for nine looking
around all these guys getting hit in the easiest damn
thing ever they and they all, they all want his gig,
and the vikings all want somebody else other than him.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
And he put it on a platter tang.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
It's just that's gotta be uh got to be a
miserable existence because if the Vikings do end up signing
Kyler Murray, he's your starter. There's not even not even
a thought that that you would that you would consider
calling this an open competition like that, that would be
your starter, that you're that you're that you're looking at.
And he's just gonna have to. It almost feels like j. J.

(21:23):
McCarthy's entering Anthony Richardson territory to where they're like, hey man,
we spent a high draft pick on you, but sorry,
we got we got to move in a different direction.
And and it feels like the day's are number there.
So it's too bad, too bad for a for him
and UH and everybody involved that went out and spent

(21:44):
money on a jersey and really supported him coming out
because it seems like the end is near for JJ McCarty.
But you know, we'll see world.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
Look, I mean, just like every the quarter we talked about,
he's got the opportunity, opportunity to revamp his career and
and get that started that process.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
So you know, who knows.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
Maybe it's in Minnesota, maybe it's somewhere else, whatever the
case is, he can get the job done. And for

Don't be so dismissive about it.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
This is radio.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Come on it that curveball out here.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
We can We don't have to do radio formats every time.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
I mean, you don't have to be a robot if
you're undisciplined. I mean, of course you don't.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
But you can be that uber driver that's going to
be replaced every once in a while.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
If the Calves were to win an NBA championship this season,
does that change you think their desire to bring in Lebron?
Does it make it more likely too because they want
it so does it matter? Or do you think they
look at it and say with just one one like,
we don't need him.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
I don't think they need him period.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
I get that. But I'm saying the result of this season,
if indeed.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Because the Cavs and they got hardened became the betting
favorites in the East to get to the NBA Finals,
if they do win it all, and then Donvin Mitchell
and James Harden bring Cleveland a championship. Is there any
change in sentiment towards bringing Lebron back for the Swan
song for the final season.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Yes, if they went in, I think they look at
it and say, we've now transitioned out of this. We
appreciate it, but you had multiple opportunities to stick around.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
You left.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
We're moving on as well too, and we've got a
championship team. We'll see you.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
I say, no, I think that the value that exists
there is still there. That's and it's not because you're
trying to It would not be based around again, even
if they weren't the betting favorites, this move would not

(25:58):
represent move to win a championship.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Yeah, you said the wing this move.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
So again, from the business standpoint of it, they can't
charge more for tickets just because Lebron's coming like that's
that's for the secondary market thing.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
It would have to be merchant.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
That'll make money out somewhere else. Yeah, it'll be somewhere else,
but it will be for money. It is a bottom
line move. It's a smart bottom line move and why
not do it. Why not do it if it's not
going to impact your team one way or the other,
which some people are like, well, well, Lebron's both on

(26:35):
and it len Lebron's hard to play with.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Dad Like, no, man, like, he's Lebron.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
But that is that is a legitimate point for this
reason because if you bring him on and this is
a team that then doesn't get to the postseason or
they can't get all the way to the finals, Like, yeah,
that actually is where your bottom line is impacted because
you don't get the additional home game revenue, you don't
get the you know, the additional you know, winnings that
you'd get from all of that. Right, So that is

(27:00):
a legitimate thing to consider, because again, the regular season
is the regular season. You know, will they make more
revenue and t shirt sales or whatever else they try
to do surrounding it, Sure, that's probably the case, but
not ticket sales.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
The only way you're gonna make more money is.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
If you actually go in the postseason, you go on
a deep run, so you're hosting postseason games.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
I mean, I think both are hypotheticals. He's not going
to be well, yeah, that's why I got to ask
player of anybody's team.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Yeah, yeah, I don't. I think it'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
He's but I could understand if it was some meddling, mediocre,
average team that was looking to have some sort of buzz,
create some sort of excitement a la the Wizards and
Michael Jordan back in the day. I can understand that.
I get it. They don't need him. They're an actual
good team. They're a title contending team like that. That

(27:53):
ship is sailed.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Man, that draft at all? Okay, and he's from there?

Speaker 1 (27:57):
All right, cool, there's a lot of people, but he
has been there twice.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
You know. It's like, we've done this a couple of
times before, so you a third time? Oh?

Speaker 1 (28:06):
So do I know him? And I'll bet and I'll
bet there's Calves. I'll bet there's Calves fans that are like, look, man,
or fans in Cleveland period that are like, hey, do
you know the bucket of crap we've had to swim
in watching the Browns and Deshaun Watson. We're too familiar
with bad transactions here. Let's just stay with what we got.
It's working, We've built this, it feels authentic, and let's

(28:29):
not turn this into the Lebron Show again. He's held
us hostage for long enough. Let's move forward. Happy trails
go wherever you need to go, go to New York.
That's been rumored for a long time. Let us just
go try and win a title and prove we can
do it without him. And I think, and I also
think there's a lot of you know, maybe people within
the Cleveland organization that are like, look, man, we want

(28:50):
to show that we can do it without him, like that,
this is more than just without Lebron. What are you?
And they've got an opportunity and there was I forget
who the player was when Donovan Mitchell was interviewed postgame,
who came up and yelled something like, this is Donovan
Mitchell's team, this is such and such a team. It's
kind of a statement like we don't we don't need
all of that. I think he apologized afterwards, but he

(29:11):
did come back and apologize for all that. Yeah, it's
just come on, man, ship is sailed, it's over. Got
to move on.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
I see it both ways so much.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
I don't I don't hate him. I just think there's
a time and a place, and he's had multiple opportunities
I don't have. I don't have to Jonas's point.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
I've had Cavs, I've had Cleveland Cavs fans tell me
exactly what Jonas just said. So I do see that,
But LeVar, I see it your way too. And I
also think if you win one without him, then you know,
you've kind of got a year to be like, hey,
we just want it, you know. But it would be
a little bit odd. Yeah, sure, you know, having the
team there for the ring ceremony and honoring them, you know,

(29:54):
while he's there and he's trying to make it about
him in his final year and not what the team
accomplished like last year.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
So that would be hilarious. Yeah, somehow, some way he
would he would figure out a way to hijack that
moment guaranteed.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
By the way, did you guys see the update on
Chauncey Billiffs.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Yes, they're all set to appear in court today, right.
I think today's the I.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Believe so, which you know that that whole case had
gone awfully quiet, but it could drag on for years.
That's that's what I don't think people understand that, like
this could be going on for three or four years.
I think they're such three in court today, but it's
it's supposed to continue in September or something later on.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
I mean, it's going to be a long drawn out process.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Prosecutors had a briefing yesterday and in the briefing they
submitted that they have evidence that includes body worn camera footage,
records concerning the defendant's arrests, Electronic evidence sees from seven
electronic devices and Apple I Cloud accounts, over a one
hundred thousand pages of financial records and telephone records, over

(31:05):
eight hundred pages of surveillance photographs, and pole camera footage
from one four to seven Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, one
of the sites of the alleged rigged poker games. So
they're letting everybody know, this is what we got. Have
fun with that, and it appears like that's gonna be
it's gonna be tough to beat. But that's that is Hall.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Of Famer too. By the way, Chauncey billups, that's right.
So he meant it to five all stars, I just
a championship.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Which, by the way, since y'all are y'all, you know
y'all did realize that Ben Wallace want It got into
the Hall of Fame based off of his rebounding and
his defense. He was consistent, So why couldn't that's That's
what I'm saying. No championships, no championship hips, and not

(32:01):
even close to any championships.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
I mean, there's.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
Nothing of real note connected to his his career thus far.
I mean he's averaged a double I won't say that.
I take that back.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Yeah, he's averaged a double double. He will if he
continues this trend. LeVar.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
So let's see, we're going back to yesterday show because
I mean, you said messages saying that I'm the only
one still debating old topic. But y'all want to bring
back up because of Tonty Billips. You want to come road.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
God, you're saying that, dude, Trey your sensitive dude.

Speaker 5 (32:39):
Hey, Trey Young ain't been nobody. He ain't been nobody, MVP,
no nothing, nothing, not not not not offense, not defense,
not bench six man, rook hat nothing. He ain't been
nobody's nothing.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Twenty six and he's.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Four time starters, the runner of the Rookie runner.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Up twenty six and ten. For his career year, he's
third all time, which mind you?

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Which mind you?

Speaker 2 (33:03):
That guy?

Speaker 5 (33:04):
I got that guy. I guess the year should be
in pole position to go to the Hall of Fame.
Not to runner up, all right.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
I mean that sounds like a hater, but I would
say this if he does continue on this trend, his
actual and especially if he ends up the Trey Young.
I don't know, it's the weird thing, but if he
ends up.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
There, yeah, God, dude, can you just let me make
a point.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
He'll end up with double the amount of career points
averaging and assists than Bill Ups did in his career.
I think about that for a second. Chauncey average about
fourteen fifteen points behind. What did God have to do
with this man? Come on, like, I let you make
your points. Mister and ss Sen same guy, not at all.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Don't even know Trey Young.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
I don't know him. I don't there's no connection there.
I'm just giving my opinion.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
If Trey Young's got a real you're.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
Basing hypotheticals off of him being a Hall of Famer.
I'm basing where he's at right now. I don't think.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Hall of famer.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
If Trey Young's got to gripe about anything, it's the
fact that Caleb william Caleb Williams stole his celebration, the
Old Iceman celebration that was a Trey Young celebration and
stole it. That was that much like Freddy Mitchell and
the but it.

Speaker 5 (34:27):
Does get cold in the winter, the belt, the discount
double check.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Yeah, I stole from Freddy Mitchell.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Well.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
The problem for Trey Young too is I don't know
if he's gonna win any championships playing with the Wizards.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
So oh no, no, no, no, that's not happening.

Speaker 5 (34:41):
And I don't know that he's going to be an
All Star? Was he an All Star this year? I
don't think he's the last time he wasn't think.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
I don't think he's playing much. He's been injured.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Oh okay, so that's what is. But I'm a hater.
He hasn't played enough. Why hasn't he played enough?

Speaker 1 (34:56):
We were totality. Your career is okay, probably gonna make.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Oh yeah yeah yeah. You guys stick together, stick together.
We're talking totality.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
It's weird. You take probably hills. This is as good.
It's like, I don't where's where's the going? Where's Colonel
LeVar going?

Speaker 6 (35:21):
Hill?

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Well? Is it that we're all the other He's gonna
get killed up there.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I'll be honest with you, if you would have told
me at the beginning of the year, A one topic
that's gonna last two days is Trey Young. I would
have said, you were nuts.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Trey Young.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
He's played ten games like he's been injured.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
For us to do.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
Okay, you know how many guys could have been Hall
of Famers and they didn't become Hall of Famers because
of injury?

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Like do we want to count? Are you on that list?
Am I on that list?

Speaker 3 (36:04):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Okay, I'm not.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
I'm not. I mean, I'm not trying to hate on
the fact that the man is injured and he's not
playing because of injuries.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
I would just said this season, you have got no
problems time wars leading.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Uh, you know what happens. You know what happens.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
The older you get as an athlete, you know, you
know what happens. You get more and more injuries. You know,
you know what happens. Once you've had injuries and you
get a little older, you get more injuries, and then
it becomes more injury prone, and then they're more frequent,
and then you got to deal with that, and then
you know, if you can handle the pain good, Sometimes
you can't a lot of times your game, but his

(36:48):
better days are behind him. His best days are behind him. Sorry,
somebody's got to say it.

Speaker 1 (36:55):

Speaker 8 (38:02):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment. Good thing the guys are here to
bring you in case you missed it.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
You know, guys. Russell Wilson has been the subject of
a lot of jokes, a lot of commentary, a lot
of negative feedback over the past several years. Sean Payton,
is former head coach, took a couple of shots at
him as well too. Russell Wilson responded on social media
brought up bounty gate, which you know, nobody really saw

(38:33):
coming from Russell Wilson because he usually keeps a pretty pc,
pretty clean. He was on with Busting with the Boys
and he explained his side of the story with the
Sean Payton beef.

Speaker 7 (38:46):
I don't say much. I never hardly ever say anything.
I think there's a time and place. But sometimes you
get fatigued of people talking about you. You just so
like you mentioned, you're all human, you know, but it's
one thing for people that maybe aren't in the field
or aren't people say bots or whatever, talking like I don't,
I don't worry about that stuff. To me, when you've
been in the ring, or you've been on the same
side and this and that, and I got the same
amount of rings as you got. Meaning Sean listen, I

(39:07):
got a lot of respect for him as a play caller,
this and that. But to take a shot, I don't don't.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
I don't like.

Speaker 7 (39:11):
I don't think it's necessary, especially when I'm not even
on your own team anymore. So for me, I've realized
I've stayed quiet for so long. There's a time and
place where I'm not For me. I know who I
am as a competitor, as a warrior, as a as
a champion. To I've beaten Sean to you know, like
we've been on the same place and the same thing,
and so it's not a matter of disrespect.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Just don't disrespect me.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
It's good for Russell Wilson standing his gros too, you know,
getting his side of the story out. A lot of
people taking shots at Russell Wilson on this show. I'm
glad to not be a part of that.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
Well, ain't me as say, I feel like it's you two.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
I went after Russell Wilson.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Come on, I'm not worried about Russ. Sorry, I mean,
who knows.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Maybe he's got all this stockpiled and he's just gonna
after the season, after his career is over, or just
you know, kind of lay into somebody. And by the way, what.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
Is he he's going to be on TV? I know
that for sure he.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
Talks like a coach.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
How much longer do you think he gives us a go?

Speaker 2 (40:12):
Wait, he's still been going, Oh geez.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
I mean I would say he's going to exhaust all efforts,
but it will get to a point I think where
he's gonna have to decide if he wants to still
do it, even though he's not making what he used
to and more of a backup role. And with a
guy who's got a ring, who's been to a couple
of Super Bowls, he's got to decide if he wants
to still do that, and that's not always the easiest decision.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
All right, So let's let's we did it with Trey Young.
Russell Wilson a Hall of Famer or no.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
I mean, he's got the same credentials, probably better than
Eli outside of you know, Eli's got two Super Bowls.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
He's only got one.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
Eli's got a Super Bowl MVP.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
That is true.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
If you would have asked me five years ago, I
would have said, no doubt. But the five Starars since
that's gonna be an interesting debate to see what happens
with Russell Wilson.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Yeah, but you could do that with with Aaron Rodgers.
The last few years of his career. It's like, hasn't
been as good as you had hope.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
Ye, Well, good for you, Russ. Wait to stand your ground, man,
Way to stick up for yourself. Enough with the negativity
and all these people coming after you, start laying to waste,
all the haters
