about good footwork. Let's start with a good strong, firm
balance in bass.

You're gonna want to put your chest over your knees,
bending your knees a little bit. You need your toes.
Some people like their hands on their knees, some people
like their hands free. Doesn't really matter. Whatever's comfortable for you.

sure that your chin, your eyes are forward, your chin

is over your chest, your chest is over your knees,
and your knees well they need to be over your toes,

On the on the subject of a place that has
had one or two good linebackers, the Baltimore Ravens. They
did give Zay Flowers a big time contract. She gets
a four year, one hundred and forty million dollar extension
with Baltimore. And I didn't realize and first tip of

the cap here little bio scenes all right, there you go.
When he first got into the league, I was getting
ready to do my fantasy draft and I proceeded to
just get butchered and yeah, I need a little bit
of help on the back end of the draft. And
I said, all right, what do you think about this?
Speaker 1 (05:14):

Speaker 2 (05:15):
And I kind of threw out, you know, some names
to Brady at the time, and he said, dude, Zay Flowers.
I'm telling you he's Antonio Brown. I'm like, what what
are you talking about? So I'm telling you Ja Flowers.
And as it turns out, he's been pretty good. I mean,
he had that little fiasco in the AFC title game
a little bit, uh, he had that little, you know

a little bit of an issue with holding onto the
football against the Chiefs in the AFC Title Game, which
I don't think a lot of people have let that go.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
I have not, But.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
He's the first Ravens wide receiver to ever be named
a Pro Bowler, and I didn't realize ever, ever, ever, never,
And when you think about it, it goes to show you,
like just his usage and what he's done there, they've
not had that a wide receiver really ever in Baltimore
because it's been a lot with the tight end. Mark
(06:05):
Andrews is obviously the career receptions leader and has all
the numbers, but it's also been about running the football.
And so when you look at the fact that he
got paid, I think some people kind of give a
side it, like Zay Flowers got that kind of a contract,
and then you realize no other wide receiver contributed more
on offense from a numbers standpoint to his team other
(06:28):
than Jackson Smith and Jigba last year, Like he's that
valuable to the organization. So congratulations, tip of the cat
for Brady for calling it a couple of years ago
in a fantasy draft that worked out well, and to
Zay Flowers create congrass.

Yeah, I think when you see the numbers. You look
at it and you go, oh wow, that's a big
time contract. He got one hundred and eight million total
guarantees that you know, you see it, nine figure in
total guarantees at signing. You start to think this is
like a quarterback, right. So the numbers speak for themselves.

In regards to how the Baltimore Ravens feel about Zay Flowers,
I was also going to say.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Like he's this was after three years.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
And I keep going back to you, like you look
at b Jean Robinson. Some of the players who had
played three years, they've they've proven themselves.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
It's it's awesome for the player to.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Be able to get one, especially if you were a
first round pick and you know you actually had uh,
you know, two more years of year contract. It's just
for the organization. It makes it tough now because we
guys who come back who have two years left in
their deal, they're gonna want a new deal. So I
look at this and say, it's a huge win for
Jay Flowers, a guy who's had really good productions. Jonas
(07:43):
pointed out, probably not like the highest top end production,
you know, and if you're looking at in comparison, to
the rest of the NFL and those numbers. But again
it's about like being where your most can create the
most worth for yourself, being where you're most valued. Because
he's in a place where as he should just put out.

Has not had a proble wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
You know, Devin Duvernet and Jacoby Jones, those guys they
were proble receivers, but but as specialists, so as return man,
so they I mean, it's kind of crazy to think
for an organization that's had so many good players and
even like a Steve Smith at the end of his
career and Tory the guys they've had Toy what Tory
Smith is there too, but even Steve Smith who's at

the end of his career, I mean, you go on through.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
It wasn't Jasherry Hopkins there at the end of his career.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, yeah, so like you not that he's done, but
you know he's not playing there anymore. You can see
my point though, like they've had a lot of like
good guys, just knowing that they've been able to draft
develop and has been the receiver they needed him to be.
And he's really that first one. So I think he'll
continue to keep building. I think the other thing about
him is he does the right things, you know, like
(08:57):
he hasn't been a problem for them, And that's that's
one of those he as a wide receiver.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
I know it sounds like us. It's easy to say,
like just to show up and beyond time, do the
right things.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
So those guys have a hard time doing that right Like,
so those guys have a hard time like just going
through the normal course of life and not creating a stir.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
So congrats as they flowers.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
He's a hell of a player, and I think it's
a good sign for Lamar moving forward too, to have
a guy like that he can finally rely as a
number one wide receiver.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Well, all he has to do is line up at
that receiver's position, get a good firm base, all right,
make sure that his eyes are forward, make sure that
that they're aligned with his chest, and his chests are
aligned with his knees, and his knees are over his toes,
and he should be fine. He's got a great contract
(09:49):
and all he has to do is make sure he
starts off with a good firm base out there at receiver,
even though that's for the linebackers position. Can't you just
be happy for the guy. You know, that's big moment
for him and his family. All right, Oh, I just
didn't know if y'all wanted me to say anything outside
of linebacker talk that listen, I think you got to
(10:14):
take a look at it. From the perspective of quarterbacks
have always been important, important to the game. I think
their influence because of how much they're being paid and
how they're being valued. At this point, especially the bona
fide franchise, guys are playing a major part and if
(10:38):
a guy is considered to be the next guy up,
a next guy to be the one who gets paid.
And I can guarantee you even from some of the
quotes that we see from Lamar Jackson, you know, they
asked him about about Zay Flowers and he speaks glowingly
about him. So I think when you have the support

of of your quarterback, if it's just one of them,
if it's one of them teams, like if it's Patrick Mahomes,
if it's if it's Josh Allen, you know, if it's
one of those guys that you just feel like, hey,
I gotta have them and whatever we need to do
to make it right with him. I think when you
get the endorsement from from your quarterback, which it sounds
(11:22):
like this is classically what the situation is in Baltimore.
Jay Flowers was in position. And the cool thing about
or maybe interesting thing about this whole scenario, when did
we talk about Zay Flowers not having a contract extension
because it didn't need to be a conversation. It's just
interesting how sometimes you see the situations play out and
(11:45):
it jumps into the media and then you see hold
ins or you know, you see people that are unhappy
about their contract. Jay Flowers was a name that's never
come up, so I just always wonder from one contract
to another. This is a block buster contract, a big
contract for for his Flowers, a great contract for for
the Ravens and their team because of the player that
(12:07):
he is. It just makes you wonder, why do why
do some of these contract situations become so public and
connect it to people and it's like a watch. It
becomes a daily watch, a daily reporting of has he
got his contract yet? Well, we weren't doing that with
a Flowers.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
And does it also have to do with where he's
at in Baltimore, because if this was Dallas, it'd be
a big topic of conversation, contract big time.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Why is that? Why is that? I don't know why is.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
That, but it's because the Jerry Jones have a lot
to trag on, Like that's why it becomes a topic
of conversation.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
This was off his rookie deal.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
He had two years left, Like you could make the
case they didn't need to do this now. I mean, honestly,
a lot of organizations would wait for a guy to
get past his fourth year.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
They will because.

They're saying, like, hey, we picked up the fifth year
option and we still have franchise tag to use if
we want to.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
And so now that might cost them more in the end.

Because you start getting close to free agency, you start
seeing what some of those numbers look like.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
But I mean, it's it's it's kind of rare.

I mean, Jerry Jones did it with Zeke Elliott and
he hasn't really come back and done it since. So
this is a it's a more rare circumstance than you think.
Congrats to the winning group, Patrick Whitesaw in his group,
because that's more of a new, newly started agency that
did the deal, but not easy to do, like to

get these guys to open up their wallets and signed
to a long term deal when you got two years
left in your contract. I mean there's even probably some
fans who want to say, like, Okay, he's been good,
but can he continue to keep you know, building you
better and better and better. There's always that concerned of
once you get that second contract, is he going to
be complacent? Is he going to keep getting better and
be the receiver we need him to grow into. I mean,

twelve hundred yards is great, five touchdowns. You probably want
to see a little more production than that.

Yeah, it's good. Arted they're all time receptions leaders. Uh
Derek Mason's the only wide receiver who's in that list.
Uh Flowers, he was not even an original. Didn't he
come from Tennessee?

In that list, Mark Andrews, Todd Heap, and Ray.

Rice as always the tight ends. They do well with
tight ends in Baltimore. Todd Heap, Yeah, he was. That's

Can I ask you, I'm not I'm not trying to judge,
all right, because maybe this is all just kind of
a they're joking about it and whatnot.

I saw a little detail from the Lamar Jackson and
Zay Flowers relationship. How you know how how much Lamar
relies on him, so on and so forth. And he
pointed out, you know his work ethics day Flowers work
ethic that Zay Flowers drives by Lamar's house at five
in the morning to honk his horn outside his house

so that he'll come out and work out. And I'm
not saying that, you know, and I'm assuming he goes
out and joins him. But shouldn't it be the other
way around where the quarterback is doing that for the
wide receiver, he should be the one honking on the whole.

Why are you putting that unnecessary pressure on poor fashions?
I just think, well, first off.

does it, but maybe empowered Zay to be the one
to do it.

but did give up some hits and the offense couldn't
put it together. And got outdueled by a guy by

Not downplay you were excited they lost the Cubs. Let's
make sure everyone knows.

I was happy for you know, the in laws that
they got to see, you know, their guy go out
there and deal against Trek Scooble. He pitched, well, it
just came up short. And the Dodger offense has been
been lacking at times during this stretch. And uh, and
they got a decent pitching before. It's finally other than
the night before instead of the night before and then

they couldn't find anything on offense.

Scooble spoke afterwards about the environment there at Wrigley and
also the nerves going into what was his first start
as a Dodger.

As far as environments, you know, I've pished plenty of

the postseason that they've all been on the road, So
I've pishing pretty good environments. And I'd say that's up there,
you know, with with any of those postseason starts. But
you know, I think, again, the fans are great here,
and then they should know that for sure.

Yeah, I mean that's going to bed last night, you know, excited.
It felt like, you know, my major league debut, you know,

So if they don't win the World Series and they
don't do what everybody thinks they're gonna do, is he
going to get the blame because he was supposed.

You know, whatever issues they had, Tody's not pitching, Uh,
they'll bring in Trek Schouble. Even though he only goes
out there once every five days. I feel like he's
kind of been putting a spot to where there was
so much attention paid to them going out and getting
the biggest name yet again that if they did come
up short, it's almost as if there's more pressure on
him now than there has been. And they've won the

last two and it's just kind of a weird dynamic
that he finds himself in when he's just going out there.
He didn't trade himself and he's going out there, you know,
once every five days. Maybe once every three days in
the postseason, and if they come up short, which was
very possible multiple times last year, it feels like he's
going to be the one that they point.

Seems to me, I'd say it's that you're just gonna
point it at one person.

It's yeah, I think it goes towards Brandon Gomes. I
really it has to go towards the person who's putting
together the roster. Because here's the thing. I know, when
you say you put talent on on a team, when
and you look at a club like the Dodgers, they
load up on talent and they expect that their amount
(26:08):
of talent is going to be way too much talent
for everybody else's talent, and they're willing to pay for it.
But there, it isn't that simple. And I'll tell you
from experience, it isn't that simple, because that's what they
tried to do in Washington when I went there, when
I got drafted there. I mean, you think about the
amount of talent that they brought in there in two thousand.
(26:29):
They brought Dion in as a free agent, they brought
Bruce Smith in as a free agent, They drafted me
and Chris Samuels two and three that year, they had
already had Champ Bailey they I mean, they brought in
so many Mark Carrier they brought in Yeah, they brought
(26:49):
in Andre Reid, They brought everybody in there to play
for that team, and we didn't even make the playoffs.
You know, So there's something to be said about you
don't just throw talent at a problem, because you're talking
about there could create cultural issues. So you can't necessarily
(27:10):
put the lack of success on a player, a talented
player that they brought in. Oh that's the missing piece
that As a GM, you have to know how you're
your skipper and the rest of the crew. You know
the rest of the staff, how they they work and
how they operate. Have that relationship. Then you got to
have a relationship with the players and see what their
(27:31):
their movements are and what their mannerisms are and how
they do things. You know, do you need more of
a more dominant leader, do you need less of a
leader and more of just a player. There are a
lot of moving parts that connect to piecing together a
successful group of guys that come from all kinds of
(27:51):
different backgrounds, economic, racial, communities, you know, places in the
world and bringing them all together to pull in one direction.
So if a team fails, generally speaking, especially in this
type of scenario, when you're talking about the type of
talent that that they bring in to to the Dodgers,
(28:13):
you gotta look at the GM, you gotta look at
the person who's architecting the rosters. That it would be
the person that I would say, you pinpoint the blame
for for failure.

The guys just got there.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
That's not sure how we can immediately blame him if
they don't win it, just because they have in the past.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
So my point is there's gonna be so much pressure
on him.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's immediately even before you brought U Schooble in. Yeah,
there's pressure on that that organization and there and I
don't look, I don't think.

It's I get that. I just don't know how Scooble
gets all the blame.

this stuff works sometimes to where the guy who comes in,
who's the new guy. If they end up falling, you know,
falling back, or they come up short, or they get
beat on a couple of fluke plays which they could

you know, we brought him in and then we came

up short. Maybe there And I look at it and
I go, there's been a couple of times where that organization,
for as good as they've been bringing in high character
guys and they've got it, like really really high character
guys on the roster.

about good footwork. Let's start with a good strong, firm
balance in bass.

You're gonna want to put your chest over your knees,
bending your knees a little bit. You need your toes.
Some people like their hands on their knees, some people
like their hands free. Doesn't really matter. Whatever's comfortable for you.
But that's our lesson for today. That's the tip. Make
sure that your chin, your eyes are forward, your chin
(04:16):
is over your chest, your chest is over your knees,
and your knees well they need to be over your toes,
all right, And that's your LB LeVar lesson of the day.

On the on the subject of a place that has
had one or two good linebackers, the Baltimore Ravens. They
did give Zay Flowers a big time contract. She gets
a four year, one hundred and forty million dollar extension
with Baltimore. And I didn't realize and first tip of

the cap here little bio scenes all right, there you go.
When he first got into the league, I was getting
ready to do my fantasy draft and I proceeded to
just get butchered and yeah, I need a little bit
of help on the back end of the draft. And
I said, all right, what do you think about this?
Speaker 1 (05:14):
This and this?
Speaker 2 (05:15):
And I kind of threw out, you know, some names
to Brady at the time, and he said, dude, Zay Flowers.
I'm telling you he's Antonio Brown. I'm like, what what
are you talking about? So I'm telling you Ja Flowers.
And as it turns out, he's been pretty good. I mean,
he had that little fiasco in the AFC title game
a little bit, uh, he had that little, you know
(05:36):
a little bit of an issue with holding onto the
football against the Chiefs in the AFC Title Game, which
I don't think a lot of people have let that go.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
I have not, But.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
He's the first Ravens wide receiver to ever be named
a Pro Bowler, and I didn't realize ever, ever, ever, never,
And when you think about it, it goes to show you,
like just his usage and what he's done there, they've
not had that a wide receiver really ever in Baltimore
because it's been a lot with the tight end. Mark
(06:05):
Andrews is obviously the career receptions leader and has all
the numbers, but it's also been about running the football.
And so when you look at the fact that he
got paid, I think some people kind of give a
side it, like Zay Flowers got that kind of a contract,
and then you realize no other wide receiver contributed more
on offense from a numbers standpoint to his team other
(06:28):
than Jackson Smith and Jigba last year, Like he's that
valuable to the organization. So congratulations, tip of the cat
for Brady for calling it a couple of years ago
in a fantasy draft that worked out well, and to
Zay Flowers create congrass.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Yeah, I think when you see the numbers. You look
at it and you go, oh wow, that's a big
time contract. He got one hundred and eight million total
guarantees that you know, you see it, nine figure in
total guarantees at signing. You start to think this is
like a quarterback, right. So the numbers speak for themselves.
(07:01):
In regards to how the Baltimore Ravens feel about Zay Flowers,
I was also going to say.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Like he's this was after three years.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
And I keep going back to you, like you look
at b Jean Robinson. Some of the players who had
played three years, they've they've proven themselves.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
It's it's awesome for the player to.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Be able to get one, especially if you were a
first round pick and you know you actually had uh,
you know, two more years of year contract. It's just
for the organization. It makes it tough now because we
guys who come back who have two years left in
their deal, they're gonna want a new deal. So I
look at this and say, it's a huge win for
Jay Flowers, a guy who's had really good productions. Jonas
(07:43):
pointed out, probably not like the highest top end production,
you know, and if you're looking at in comparison, to
the rest of the NFL and those numbers. But again
it's about like being where your most can create the
most worth for yourself, being where you're most valued. Because
he's in a place where as he should just put out.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Has not had a proble wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
You know, Devin Duvernet and Jacoby Jones, those guys they
were proble receivers, but but as specialists, so as return man,
so they I mean, it's kind of crazy to think
for an organization that's had so many good players and
even like a Steve Smith at the end of his
career and Tory the guys they've had Toy what Tory
Smith is there too, but even Steve Smith who's at
(08:29):
the end of his career, I mean, you go on through.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
It wasn't Jasherry Hopkins there at the end of his career.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, yeah, so like you not that he's done, but
you know he's not playing there anymore. You can see
my point though, like they've had a lot of like
good guys, just knowing that they've been able to draft
develop and has been the receiver they needed him to be.
And he's really that first one. So I think he'll
continue to keep building. I think the other thing about
him is he does the right things, you know, like
(08:57):
he hasn't been a problem for them, And that's that's
one of those he as a wide receiver.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
I know it sounds like us. It's easy to say,
like just to show up and beyond time, do the
right things.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
So those guys have a hard time doing that right Like,
so those guys have a hard time like just going
through the normal course of life and not creating a stir.

So congrats as they flowers.

He's a hell of a player, and I think it's
a good sign for Lamar moving forward too, to have
a guy like that he can finally rely as a
number one wide receiver.

Well, all he has to do is line up at
that receiver's position, get a good firm base, all right,
make sure that his eyes are forward, make sure that
that they're aligned with his chest, and his chests are
aligned with his knees, and his knees are over his toes,
and he should be fine. He's got a great contract

and all he has to do is make sure he
starts off with a good firm base out there at receiver,
even though that's for the linebackers position. Can't you just
be happy for the guy. You know, that's big moment
for him and his family. All right, Oh, I just

take a look at it. From the perspective of quarterbacks
have always been important, important to the game. I think
their influence because of how much they're being paid and
how they're being valued. At this point, especially the bona
fide franchise, guys are playing a major part and if

a guy is considered to be the next guy up,
a next guy to be the one who gets paid.
And I can guarantee you even from some of the
quotes that we see from Lamar Jackson, you know, they
asked him about about Zay Flowers and he speaks glowingly
about him. So I think when you have the support

of of your quarterback, if it's just one of them,
if it's one of them teams, like if it's Patrick Mahomes,
if it's if it's Josh Allen, you know, if it's
one of those guys that you just feel like, hey,
I gotta have them and whatever we need to do
to make it right with him. I think when you
get the endorsement from from your quarterback, which it sounds
(11:22):
like this is classically what the situation is in Baltimore.
Jay Flowers was in position. And the cool thing about
or maybe interesting thing about this whole scenario, when did
we talk about Zay Flowers not having a contract extension
because it didn't need to be a conversation. It's just
interesting how sometimes you see the situations play out and

it jumps into the media and then you see hold
ins or you know, you see people that are unhappy
about their contract. Jay Flowers was a name that's never
come up, so I just always wonder from one contract
to another. This is a block buster contract, a big
contract for for his Flowers, a great contract for for
the Ravens and their team because of the player that

he is. It just makes you wonder, why do why
do some of these contract situations become so public and
connect it to people and it's like a watch. It
becomes a daily watch, a daily reporting of has he
got his contract yet? Well, we weren't doing that with
a Flowers.

And does it also have to do with where he's
at in Baltimore, because if this was Dallas, it'd be
a big topic of conversation, contract big time.

this is a it's a more rare circumstance than you think.

because that's more of a new, newly started agency that
did the deal, but not easy to do, like to

get these guys to open up their wallets and signed
to a long term deal when you got two years
left in your contract. I mean there's even probably some
fans who want to say, like, Okay, he's been good,
but can he continue to keep you know, building you
better and better and better. There's always that concerned of
once you get that second contract, is he going to
be complacent? Is he going to keep getting better and
be the receiver we need him to grow into. I mean,

to see a little more production than that.

I was happy for you know, the in laws that
they got to see, you know, their guy go out

been lacking at times during this stretch. And uh, and
they got a decent pitching before. It's finally other than
the night before instead of the night before and then

they couldn't find anything on offense.

also the nerves going into what was his first start

I've pishing pretty good environments. And I'd say that's up there,
you know, with with any of those postseason starts. But
you know, I think, again, the fans are great here,
and then they should know that for sure.

they'll bring in Trek Schouble. Even though he only goes

kind of been putting a spot to where there was
so much attention paid to them going out and getting
the biggest name yet again that if they did come
up short, it's almost as if there's more pressure on
him now than there has been. And they've won the

last two and it's just kind of a weird dynamic
that he finds himself in when he's just going out there.
He didn't trade himself and he's going out there, you know,
once every five days. Maybe once every three days in
the postseason, and if they come up short, which was
very possible multiple times last year, it feels like he's
going to be the one that they point.

Seems to me, I'd say it's that you're just gonna
point it at one person.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
It's yeah, I think it goes towards Brandon Gomes. I
really it has to go towards the person who's putting
together the roster. Because here's the thing. I know, when
you say you put talent on on a team, when
and you look at a club like the Dodgers, they
load up on talent and they expect that their amount
(26:08):
of talent is going to be way too much talent
for everybody else's talent, and they're willing to pay for it.
But there, it isn't that simple. And I'll tell you
from experience, it isn't that simple, because that's what they
tried to do in Washington when I went there, when
I got drafted there. I mean, you think about the
amount of talent that they brought in there in two thousand.

They brought Dion in as a free agent, they brought
Bruce Smith in as a free agent, They drafted me
and Chris Samuels two and three that year, they had
already had Champ Bailey they I mean, they brought in
so many Mark Carrier they brought in Yeah, they brought
(26:49):
in Andre Reid, They brought everybody in there to play
for that team, and we didn't even make the playoffs.
You know, So there's something to be said about you
don't just throw talent at a problem, because you're talking
about there could create cultural issues. So you can't necessarily
(27:10):
put the lack of success on a player, a talented
player that they brought in. Oh that's the missing piece
that As a GM, you have to know how you're
your skipper and the rest of the crew. You know
the rest of the staff, how they they work and
how they operate. Have that relationship. Then you got to
have a relationship with the players and see what their
(27:31):
their movements are and what their mannerisms are and how
they do things. You know, do you need more of
a more dominant leader, do you need less of a
leader and more of just a player. There are a
lot of moving parts that connect to piecing together a
successful group of guys that come from all kinds of
(27:51):
different backgrounds, economic, racial, communities, you know, places in the
world and bringing them all together to pull in one direction.
So if a team fails, generally speaking, especially in this
type of scenario, when you're talking about the type of
talent that that they bring in to to the Dodgers,
(28:13):
you gotta look at the GM, you gotta look at
the person who's architecting the rosters. That it would be
the person that I would say, you pinpoint the blame
for for failure.

The guys just got there.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
That's not sure how we can immediately blame him if
they don't win it, just because they have in the past.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
So my point is there's gonna be so much pressure
on him.

It's immediately even before you brought U Schooble in. Yeah,
there's pressure on that that organization and there and I
don't look, I don't think.

I go, there's been a couple of times where that organization,
for as good as they've been bringing in high character
guys and they've got it, like really really high character

Cleveland Sirens.

They join the long list of other Cleveland teams like
the Calves, the Guardian, Slash Indians, and the Browns as
a professional franchise there in Cleveland. So it begs the question,
Brady season Ticks, have you looked into it? And when
do we plan on making a purchase to go attend

these games there in Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
We got a busy schedule that's gonna be never Just
looking at the schedule this ball for the girls, I
can't imagine there's gonna be a free night where we
can actually drive to make any of those games.
Speaker 1 (36:59):

Not sure I want to subject my children to the
political back and forth that seems to take place in
the stands instead of just us going to watch, you know,
professional women's play basketball. We have to be subjected to
all the cultural wars and political ideology that the WNBA
just can't seem to figure out, like, hey, let's just

play basketball, but nope, it's got to be some sort
of political stance, whether you're a player, coach.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
What have you. My god, why would I ever want
to subject my children to that.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
Yeah, it's pretty bad, man, And it's it's everywhere you
turn like it does. It does not Nobody can have
an opinion about something without it being some controversial issue
and it turns into it. Just it's NonStop with the league.
I mean, that's why.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
It's just amazing that you have players who obviously have
said things outside and so forth.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
It's not like they always, you know, take a stance
in game.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
But then you have a coach put on a shirt,
it's like, well, yeah, then you're making a political statement
in game and using that and it's like, it's only
gonna pour gasoline on this fire. If you don't want
that to be what your league's about, then maybe as
a coach. So it's just supposed to be the most
mature one you should stand up and be like, you
know what this was said.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
We're gonna talk about it as a team.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
We could talk about it after the game or before
they get whatever, but we're not gonna during the game.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Then bring more light to it and stoke the fires
even more. But that's that's not that league. I mean,
I don't know if they're taking a.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Page out of the NBA where it's like they have
to make it about everything other than basketball to talk about,
but it seems like they're on that path right now.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Yeah, it's and that's a treacherous path, to say the least.

Well, actually let me ask you, when was about the
point in training camp that you started fighting teammates.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
Was there a one? Okay, so one day one?

Yeah, all right, so allright, so day one, now I
don't know what the full pad schedule is at some
of these training camps. I think it's within the last
day or two, So this action probably make some sense.
Jeffers of the Titans was thrown out of practice yesterday
because he threw a punch. Robert Sala's not not taking
any of that. He will not tolerate that. So Jeffrey
(39:09):
Simmons got thrown out of practice because he threw a punch.
Doesn't seem like it's the smartest thing in the world
with a helmet on, but it is what it is.
Jackson Dart, this isn't just a defender thing. We're not
picking on defenders. Jackson Dart caused a little bit of
a skirmish at Giants practice.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
When he took a ball and threw it at.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
A defender's face mask, which prompted the defenders to go
after Jackson Dart a little bit and it caused a
little bit of a dust up there.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
So is this your with Yeah, what if.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
A quarterback tossed the football your face mask far, I'd
laugh at him, Okay, you wouldn't. There'd be no no retaliation.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
No, no, not to a quarterback. That's like you slap quarterbacks,
Like if there's a situation, you don't punch a quarterback
like you will punch another one of them, But that's
you treat you whole quarterbacks to a different level of physical.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
Which is also why it's not a great move for
a quarterback because everyone knows.
Speaker 4 (40:12):
It's like you can't what's what's.

Something like that to another player, there's an element of like, well, they.

like there's no consequences for it's just it's kind of a.

Big wouldn't that kind of wouldn't that piss off your

Now we're the ones that are gonna have to stick
up for you, Like we're the ones that are gonna
have to actually get in some sort of a physical altercation.
But maybe it's not surprising because he did say this
in the off season when introducing the president, that old Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
It's wild, John Harbid. You know you don't fight a Now,
if it was a running back, he's going to get suplexed.
If he's a lineman, we're gonna thump. But if it's
a quarterback, you just laugh and you just walk back
to the huddle. You see what this P word did, Like,
you see what he did. He really hit me in
the face. With the protagonist there you go.

Wouldn't it be an antagonist in this case?
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Yeah, yeah it would be. But she, I mean, she
ran with it. I supported it.
