Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas knocks. Coming up on this
Thursday edition, We've got a brand new term that has
been made up in the NFL. We will discuss. We're
also going to get into the very latest on the
Browns quarterback situation. We got two pc O j adventures,
travel stories and what makes LaVar Arrington nauseous when it

(00:20):
comes to toilets in airplanes? Albert Brier is gonna stop buying.
We got the b Q News. It's all yours coming
up next here on a Thursday, Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox
Sports Radio. Yeah, Yeah, to Pros Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington,

(00:49):
Brady Quinn Jonas knocks with you here odd fs are.
You can hang out with us as always on the
IHR Radio app. You can find us on hundreds of
affiliates all across the country and wherever you are taking
part in this program on this fine Thursday. We appreciate
you doing so. We're gonna take you all the way
up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock. Pacistic is
it is a que is it is it that the

(01:13):
topic list is is really getting more and more interesting.
What why are you so hype? Well, I mean we're
a day closer to football and we're gonna have more on,
you know, the situation in Cleveland. We could really a
day closer to getting some news on Deshaun Watson. I'm
just saying, maybe saying, I'm just saying at some point
there's gonna be an expert. Yeah, of course, at some point.

(01:35):
So we keep saying it every day at some point
where one day so this could happen. That is true,
and that could happen. Look there he is. There's great
persona right there. Yeah. Man, he's a good dude. Man,
he's got a great voice, but he's really like physically
imposed as well. He's big ben six times A lot

(01:55):
of meat is a lot of beat. So it's and
the baba, yeah, and the baba. Gus. You guys got
to help me out with something because you would obviously
know more about this as guys who have been in
training camps for many years during the course of your careers.
When did the term hold in become popular? Because when

(02:17):
I saw you all write it in the notes yesterday,
I was like, God, dang, bro, you now got edge.
You got edge as a position. Now you got hold
in as opposed to hold outs. I mean it's relevant
term for certain Both of them are relevant, uh relevant
to to the topic. I was first made aware of

(02:37):
holding yesterday when I saw it, So she was the
one that's a hit everybody. So I hid this. I
don't know about that. Here, here's what's bothering. Here's what
bothers me because I went through this as a rookie
and everyone's like, oh, you held out. Was like, dude,
I didn't hold out. That's I'm not under contract. I
got drafted like trip Cracking would to answer the phone

(03:00):
call from us for like a week like my ag.
He's like, yeah, they want to answer the phone. I'm like, well, clearly,
like you can't put it on me unless you just
want us to walk back in and be like, oh, yeah,
we're here, we're gonna sign whatever you're gonna give us.
So hold out is when you're under contract and you
choose to not sign up. Okay, that is a hold out.
A hold in would be then when you are under contract,

(03:23):
you choose to sign up, but you're not going to
participate in anything. Now I would go as far as saying, like,
I'm not a fan of it because it just doesn't
really make any sense to me, Like the like I
understand to hold out, like you're going to not show
up because you don't like your current contracts, you know conditions,
you like something better, and you're not going to show

(03:46):
up until those those demands are met, like a hold in,
like you're just still hanging around, Like, well, what's he doing. Well,
he's here. He's trying to threaten us to not do anything,
but like you know, we'll work something out or he'll
eventually play Like it's not really threatening the team by
doing it because you're there, they see you every day,
like you're still showing up, Like you really have to
threaten them in the way of like, hey, here is

(04:08):
life without me if you this is what your team
looks like without me, Like not in the locker room,
not a part of it, as any part of a leader,
not on the practice field, nothing. That's how a holdout
is effective, because you actually are threatening them with that
reality hold in, You're still gonna hang around, You're still
gonna around the guys. I just I feel it's kind

(04:29):
of like dipping your toe in the water, like you
either gotta be all in or all out if you're
going to exercise any leverage you have with a hold,
hold out or hold in as we're talking about now. Yeah,
I'm I'm not very very educated on it in terms
of what what the results would be because I've never
seen a hold in. Like, I've never seen somebody there

(04:51):
that wasn't going to participate based off of contractual concerns
or or you know, negotiating. T J watt it last year, right, technically,
was that a hold in? I did it? I think so.
I think he did. I listen, he did it to Arizona. No, No,
and t J So I think so. I think he

(05:14):
did it last year to Pittsburgh. But you've got you know,
guys like Derwin James who are quote unquote holdings, Deebo,
Samuel dk metcalf Ro, Kwan Smith. Uh. I just you know,
I just I don't. I don't get where this popped up.
If I'm making sense of it, just thinking about it
from a player perspective, I would say a hold in

(05:35):
would be present because they do want to be around
their teammates. Their teammates aren't the reason why the guy
doesn't have what what it is that they're looking for.
It's the organization, But that's also not the reason why
you you're not around your teammates when you hold out,
You know what I'm saying, like that, that's just a
business matter. Like I've never any guy who held out.
I never looked at it was like, man, you were

(05:56):
running your teammates. I was like, dude, I get it.
Like that might be the way they're looking at at it.
They might be looking at it like I want to
be around, but I'm just not going to do it
until I get done with what what we're going to
do business wise, Like I'm here, but I think I
don't want the backlash that comes with it because the
media then gets on you and then they have to
keep asking the front office about it and it gets

(06:16):
a little bit mess here. But they're still going to
do it even if you're there. Well not not with
the holden though, because you can speak for yourself if
you want, right, you can go to the media. You're
not you know, if you're if you're holding out, you're
not talking to the media. You're not there. If you're
holding in, you're there, So you can go you know,
trying to work some things out, but they're still going
to scrutinize what you do because you're not playing right.
But it's worse when you're not there at all. I mean,

(06:38):
I can see that that's that's usually how it plays out.
I mean, I remember, I remember training with Larry Johnson
when he was holding out with the Kansas City Chiefs.
He's still holding out. I think still holding now. I
think I think we made LJ has got to sign
in and sign up, come come back to the reality.
But go And I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm just thinking it. Yeah, right,

(07:03):
I feel partly responsible for that ruined him. Sorry, I mean,
all I'm saying is I remember talking with them through it,
and it wasn't an easy thing because he's been so
darned productive and all he wanted was what he felt
like was fair for a position that didn't have a
long lifespan. And so I can I completely kind of
understood where he's going from. But you know, again, I

(07:26):
think it honestly might speak more to today's athlete because
I think they're very aware of everything that's said about them,
and they're more concerned about probably their image in that way,
not that athletes that in the past weren't. I just
think it's it's harder to avoid it. And so I
think it speaks maybe to the agent, maybe to the
play or two of them just not wanting to to

(07:48):
have to go through that because every day there's so
much more about a hold out, you know, holding um
at least he's there like that, Like none of these
guys we just named you because you just admitute you said, like, yeah,
I didn't even know what holding was us. Yeah. Well
that's the thing is, you don't know because the media
is not making that big of a deal about it,
like they'll write a thing here or there, but they're there,
they're showing up. So I just I wonder if it's

(08:08):
like a little bit of the culture of these these
kids now sub diffuge. Yeah, I mean, well if that's
what it is, then hell, I sound like a fossil.
I mean if you think about it. But it wasn't
that long ago that Zeke Elliott went to Cabo and
he got buried doing it. Yeah, but it worked. I

(08:30):
mean he got paid out his money because and yeah,
the year before or what the year he came back. Yeah,
I think, yeah, I think he had a pretty good years.
I don't. I haven't seen the same Ezekiel Elliott. Yeah,
on the beach with Marshall folks. Remember I know Marshall folks.
Was it Eric Dickerson who went down there to meet
up with him too? I think Eric Dickerson went down

(08:53):
there to just but I don't. I don't know d
like I know you ever? Did you ever ask Marshall
about that training how that went? Know, I didn't have to.
I know martial faults. I've done Pro bowls with Marshal faults.
I know you know, I know you know what. You
know what it means. It's a hold in, not a

(09:14):
hold out. I'll tell you that the holding in in Cabo.
Believe you me all the way in too, if I
know what I know and remember it the way that
I remember it, Yeah, holding all the way in. So
is anybody Is anybody holding out? Or they all just
holding in? Am I missing somebody? That that's like? Not
at not at the facility. That's a that's a straight

(09:36):
up old school hold out, because I can't. I think
everybody's a hold in right like that's is it over? Yeah?
I think it might be over with so the the
gone of the days of holding out and staying away
from the facility, and now it's just everybody goes there
and hangs out. And Orlando Smith or Atlanto Brown didn't
show up, okay um, And that's the one where where

(09:59):
they been trying to get a deal done and right.
But he's under the franchise tact so like him and
Jesse Bates, it's that's so same thing. Here's a misconception.
People out there are gonna be like, oh, they're holding
They're not holding out. They haven't signed their franchise tag,
so they're under no obligation right now to show up
until they signed their franchise tag. Now, the window to
agree to a long term deal has already gone and past,

(10:22):
so they're basically waiting to sign it, and they're probably
reducing what their agents tell on their injury risk, so
they're not going to show up until they get to
a certain point before season. They'll sign it. They'll come
and play, unless they're gonna pull lebian Bell, which I don't.
I'm gonna venture to say that's not. Everything happened well,
even if his boxing career is going well, even though

(10:43):
the fight with Adrian Peterson got postponed. I mean, it
seemed like it worked out well for Leby on Bell.
Why they get postponed by the way, I don't know.
Was it like came up with an injury or some crap.
I don't know, there was something that. Are they all
lining up just trying to fight Jake Paul and then
they get that big payday. I mean, that's that would
be wise to try to do it. It's the only

(11:03):
way you're gonna make money. I mean, you've got guys
that want to leave the UFC and leave their contracts
with the UFC because they want to go fight Jake
Paul because they just they want one bite at the
apple making millions of dollars and getting that sort of
pay per view revenue. So I feel like that there's
some guys who just want to fight Jake Paul. Yeah,
it's um. Yeah, there's sounds like a panically Lee, sounds

(11:24):
like the traffic control dude on Star Wars, Lee, what happened?
Let's go live on Live from the tarmac at l A. Actually,
what's going on. The latest sum reading is that it's
actually been called off. Which fight the Peterson lady on
Bell fight? Yeah, just yeah, I thought you said it
was postponed. Yeah, that's a big difference. Well, I mean,
I mean who called off? You get your money back?

(11:46):
You know? Yeah? Well I mean, hey, furthermore, who cares?
And that's not fineable for me? Yeah, that's not fineable
for me. So I mean it's not Why was it
called off? Why don't we do this details? I mean
with the may be on Valen Adrian Peterson. You never know,
maybe there's a contract around the corner. Maybe one of
those guys going to get a you know, another crack
in the at the NFL and get get a running

(12:08):
back job. Who knows? I mean, And again furthermore, who cares?
Just killing? Yeah, well I don't know. Can we get
some answers on that? As to why it was called off?
Do we have any statements from either? The official statement
is due to the current unavailability of main event fighters.
The Social Gloves No More Talk Boxing events scheduled for

(12:30):
Saturday has been uh officially called off. Wait but at Crypto,
Wait but Jake Paul is still fighting Hassan Rockman's son.
Al Right, Well this is something McBroom versus GiB is
the is the big matchup Okay, yeah, I I don't
so the match itself hasn't been or the entirety of

(12:51):
the event hasn't been called off. Just one fight that
happens a lot. Then either try to find a fill
in fighter or whatever. Yeah, isn't that how Canelo? Who
was that? That loss to a late entry fighter? It
was like a big gass fight. Well, Patio lost, he
was supposed to fight Errol Spence and they brought in um. Yeah,
yeah that was Patty's last fight. Yeah. So but again, man,

(13:15):
that Brady's the boxing guy. I don't know much about
this UFC boxing stuff. Oh why can't you just say
that you love the sport? I do. I don't understand
that because here's why, all right, I'm delegitimized yourself. I'm
gun shy because I you know, I decided one night
it was going to be a good and I haven't
just one time. I've never done it multiple times where

(13:36):
I scored an actual fight on Twitter, and uh, because
I just like doing it. I don't know, I like
scoring fights, just like knowing. I just it's fun. Since
Q was started saying you sound like Chris Collins work,
you do sound like Chris Collins work. Is that a
bad thing? I mean he makes a ton of money. Yeah,

(13:56):
after calling it Saturday Football. No, Janet's I mean, I
just I like to score fights on Twitter shows because
I'll point out things because I've worked with him forever.
That then other people are like, oh yeah he does,
and then they kind of give m a hard time,
Like the Fox Sports He's like he's changed the way
he said Fox Now, well now I'm gonna have to

(14:17):
change the way. Why did that not have Twitter accounts
that puts up on on you like stuff like that,
like they did Sports Radio Joe Net. Yeah, there's like
how's that there are? How do I get the White
wolf Coat Twitter account? It was asking me and was
asking me to put put put them back on, like
can you please the White wolf Coat? Can you just

(14:38):
put me back on? Can we reunite? Like he was
asking me on Twitter yesterday, Brady have any parody accounts?
We got any parody accounts to Brady question? Not unless
you made them up. Well, and I'm just saying if
anybody wants to put together a flight attendant parody account
for for Brady, Yeah, we got another one. Cue the
flight attendant. Somebody two pc later on, Yeah, we had

(15:05):
another one this Yeah, it was a couple of things.
One of my my biggest pet peeves came to life
and then one other thing that I'll be honest with you,
I haven't felt this bad on a plane flight for
a long time, but I did yesterday. That professional tea.

(15:26):
He's a stripper of sports stock radio ripper Rady Quinn
wo by the way, and it's not even a topless bar,
and he's still got you provoked, right, Yeah, Faso Duels
by the way. We are brought to you by Discover.

to redeem credit card rewards, or we could talk about
how we Discover you can redeem your rewards for cash
in any amount at any time. I mean talk about amazing.

(15:48):
Were more discover dot com slash redeemed rewards terms applies.
We got the usuals coming up later on. We got

Brier at some point. We also have his Brady mentioned
two pc O j adventures starring Brady Quinn, coming up

(16:08):

off season, But we do have some more information. We'll
get into that for you right here on FSR. Be
sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas

(16:28):
Knocks week days at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks with you here on fs ARE
coming up later on this hour about twenty minutes from now.
We've got somebody putting their money where their mouth is.

(16:49):
All right, there's a lot of people talk about it,
but this person is actually doing it. So we will
get to that here. Yeah, okay, I saw it. What
it's just not about our text? What do you mean
which which one? Yeah? Okay, Now, well you mean about

(17:13):
people paying attention to our show? Yes, we're encouraging you to.
I mean people pay attention to our show. I mean
that is what it is. We got called skipping Shannon
the other day, like like in in a in a
three hour show, we have a one minute exchange and
now we're skipping Shannon. Like people pay attention to our show. Yeah,

(17:37):
that's I mean, it just is what it is. I
get more. Wait, first off, that's not very flattering on
my side of things. Why did why does he have
to be skipped? Come on? Because why because white? Come on,
he's white? Come on, I mean, are we gonna accept this, uh,
this type of slander on the Come on, skip me,

(18:01):
tell me, tell me some more about it. Skip skipsh
But no problems and I no problem and I no
problem anyway. Yeah, people pay attention to our show. Well,
it's like the lambeau Field soccer thing. We talked about
that seconds eating Alive, the moment that place that they

(18:27):
posted the picture and instantly, yeah, instantly just tweets. Had
had no idea, it was even on how about that?
Who's the two pros? And a couple of drove now
had no idea, but but apparently that here we go. Look,
I mean, good thing, it's not a bad Yeah that's fine,

(18:47):
but I mean I mean you can't when you make
bold claims after the fact, And I mean I've been
making that bold claim for what it's worth for since
we started doing previews. I believe if we're talking to
it's not bold at all, but it's bold enough. I
thought if you would have went with a different team
in a different division to win the other division, so

(19:11):
like Miami, so LaVar has been on that's bold alright.
So for those of you just just tuning in, LaVar
has been on the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC
East bandwagon and their plus one sixty five, And so
we're encouraging you to take advantage of this opportunity and
don't do it you did in Vegas that t J.
Houshman's otta reported on in which you were were letting

(19:32):
it ride at the blackjack table and was winning, Yes,
like a whole hell of a lot. I know how
to gamble. I don't know Jona's texted you. I know
how to accurate. I know how to undo myself as well.
See that's the thing I can do it. I am
of a doing. I just have been a part of
undoings as well. You know plus one sixty five. I'm

(19:55):
just saying if I was a gambler, I would put
money on it, all right, let me here's here. I'll
make you deal. Give me your credit card. I'll take
care of the rest, right. Yeah, No, or you act
like you used mine and you do it. You you
won't regret it. Yeah, I'm telling yourself. Just offer that
up to LaVar one more time and watch how quick

(20:15):
LaVar pivots off this and then dunce there you Okay,
So so this is all I'm asking. If you want
to get this bet in because you're that confident in
the Eagles to win the NFC's all you gotta do.
Just give me your credit card. I'll put it in
and then I'll hold on to it. And what I
would say that that is give me your wallet. Let
me give you your credit card, and let's act like

(20:36):
it's me giving you my credit card to place the
bet sold and you won't be upset of I'm sold. Yeah,
because I'm just not. I'm not a gambler, Okay, I don't.
I don't do sports gambling like that. I mean, I
don't understand the lingo y'all be using. It's a different lingo.
You've gotten better though, you have gotten better though, you
know sometimes I don't understand que altogether, and and then

(20:58):
we go into we go into betting jargon and lingo,
and I'm totally lost. And so that's there's that I
don't I don't want to circle to do. Jonas is influence.
If we're being honest, Look that Brady was. He wasn't
that like a proud papa. He's like Frankenstein's dad or

(21:20):
you whatever, end up talking about gambling the way that
you do. And it's because of Jonas. I gotta give
him like some hell of fare credit thing. I think
it's so interesting man, and I think it's the way
of the future. I mean, we should probably commate so
much more money for this show if I was in
the gambling though, because all three of us were really
all the way in on gambling. Like imagine if we

(21:42):
were like Marshall Falcon. He's a holding. He's holding Marshall's
holding in the club, in the hotel, in your house,
and he's a whole understood, he's a holding. That's fair.
Understand that he's a holding. Yeah, that's fair, alright, no problem,

(22:08):
and ain't even a problem. Um uh so so let's
see here from definitely understood that term. Let's hear from
the Brown's head coach, Kenn Stefans. I know you guys
are thinking we haven't talked about the Browns quarterback because
he's going to tell us about what's going on with
with the starter. No, I mean yeah, speaking of holding,
we haven't doubt we have you well, he's been left

(22:29):
holding something. Yeah, we haven't. We haven't talked much about
the Brown's quarterback situation at all this offseason. So here's
Kevin Stefanski, the head coach, explaining what that situation is like.
They're at Brown's training camp. Guys will rotate in there,
Tony like we always do. If you saw in the spring,
we rotated to Shaun and Jacoby as well, So that

(22:49):
really doesn't change. UM. So the truth is we have
to get all those guys ready to play. UM doesn't
mean that you divide the reps exactly evenly among four
different eyes, but we got to get all of them
ready and we have a plan to use all of
them at different times. Is it fair to say that
if DeShawn is suspended that Jacoby present will be the

(23:12):
weak point starter in his place? For did you bring
in Frozen as a potential look to see if he could.
Jacoby's our backup quarterback if Deshawn's unavailable, Jacoby's started. So
what do you think the confidence level is of Kevin
Stefanski that Deshaun Watson is pretty available? It's pretty high. Yeah,

(23:34):
I think it's pretty high. Pretty high. Alright, I that's
pretty hot. Like it's like he's talking, like he's hearing
things like the bird and the tea leaves are active
in Cleveland. Why the hell is this still going on?
I mean, like, why can't Kevin Stefanski gets some sort
of an answer from somebody as to who the starting
quarter You just said, I'm preparing Deshaan to start. Come on,

(23:56):
he just and he said it with unwavering voice. Tone
it was it was definitive. It was definitive. It was definitive.
It's Jonas wants to talk serious right now. But he's
got that camp beard, that tone very persuasive as a
head coach. By the way, I was persuaded. Does Stefanski's
got a little bit of werewolf look to him? You know,

(24:20):
he could be in a movie. Looks like Jim Caviezel.
It's a good point. Logan's brother, Huh, you look up,
look up, Jim Caviezel. Jim looks like Jim Caviezel goes
to my church. How about that? Him? Him and Garyson?
What churches that is? Like? No, of course, Like, yeah,
latter day drinkers. That's good. Yeah, we got a corpse

(24:41):
like church class act miller like Brady, I'm sorry, obviously
you are going to utter day. I'm sorry for having
to hear that. I apologize on. How about that Notre
Dame spoof video though pretty dope? Yeah, yeah, Jonas wasn't
a fan. Yeah, one of the least. I was two corned.
I was laughing my ass off all American Tit involves

(25:02):
out the car, it's not even that job. I thought
it was pretty creative. I mean, everybody's getting creative in
their their marketing of their program, like you have a
little fun with it. Come on, I mean who they
hired to put that together? It was actually they're in
the house. Um. I think it's Irish media or film

(25:25):
or whatever. It could have been some students who played
a role in it too, so but please go go
bash A bunch of young aspiring students who are maybe
trying to personally thought it was a dope, dope. What's
Rona was saying? They're bad at their job? I mean
there's a yet. Okay, well listen, I've got some pieces
of advice for everybody involved in that. Notre Dame doesn't
need gimmicks, all right, so let me speak on behalf

(25:47):
of the fighting Irish, because if anybody on this show
needs to speak on the half of the fighting, it's me.
Notre Dame doesn't need gimmicks. Okay, they don't need uh
an alternate jersey. They don't need some spoof on a
movie that's dunk out Loud to begin with it pretty
dopey uniform. They need to focus on the task at hand,
and that's beating b y U. That's what they need

(26:08):
to focus on. If you're gonna roll those out for
for that game in Vegas against b y U, I
need him locked and loaded. I need him focused on
the task at hand because this is a revenge tour
against Brian Kelly. They don't need all the gimmicks and
all the bells and whistles to go along with I
was watching them Mortals yesterday and it's pretty dope movie,
you know, kind of sort of, But when when zeus

(26:28):
and his his daughter and his son and his like
warriors came down and they were fighting the immortals or whatever.
They came down and their gold was Notre Dame gold
like it was gold. They were golden, golden domers. Dude,
that gold helmet, bro, I ain't like that. It is
easily like the two if I had to say, the

(26:50):
two dopest helmets, and in football history, it's it's gotta
be Notre Dame in Florida State, got to be those two.
It's got to be those two. Like that gold helmet.
There's something about that gold helmet. Man. I just couldn't
go to I just couldn't go there. I don't know why,
but man, I love that golden dome. Though. I ain't

(27:12):
gonna lie, man, you know, yeah, I just yeah, I
almost feel like you've just been talking about something else.
But yeah, I mean I'm a partial fark story. I mean,
he's a hold in and a golden domer, and you
could say blond the same thing, right. Yeah, they don't

(27:33):
need gimmicks. They don't tell you the gods getting out
given the old school jersey. I thought it was super fly. Look,
it was creative, it was cool. I love the uniforms.
I think it's it's just something that's fun and different
and more so than that, I don't know how many
people unless you watch college football and you watch there

(27:54):
Dame and know who Michael man I say a fosty
are now you you will? After that like that thing,
it was viral. They get picked up. They sort of said, okay, wait,
oh that's the All American Tide and they Okay, that's it,
that's the potential first round pick. They got a d N.
It's the new head coach. Like it's the new head coach.
Would never see Lou Holtz do a skit like that?

(28:15):
Hold on, hold on, hold hold on. I don't know
about that. He do you remember the show he had
with Mark By on ESPN. They did a lot of
different stuff. Yeah, I guess he did. I guess he
did a lot of stuff. But as a coach, as
an active coach, I don't know. He's think he would
adapt to whatever he needed to it today's day. See,
I don't think I think those guys. I think maybe

(28:37):
the one who would have really adapted would have been
Bobby about him because he just enjoyed like Steve Spurry
or is that type of coach, but like a Joe
Paterno or Lou Holtz, at least from I was a
kid though when I was watching them, so it's as always.
I saw him screaming all the time, Brian. If Brian
Kelly was still Notre Dame, would they put that video together?
You think? Yeah, so you know, you know, I take

(29:00):
that back though maybe I honestly don't know, because I
mean he's like, I'll say this for a coach, hoose
orders that for a long time. I mean, he's trying
to reinvent himself. He had reinvented his wait slate with Grammar.
I don't. I don't know that he he he wouldn't
have done it. It just might be able to have

(29:21):
had a different feel it. You know. If he did
a spoof off of his his lingo for Louisiana, I
would die last I would. I'd be all in if
he did. If he found a way to incorporate how
he was speaking at that basketball game, I would die laughing. Yeah,
it wasn't even It's just like also the video with

(29:41):
the recruit where they look like they're dancing in a
phone booth together, just like that was all weird. Well,
Joe nass be cause I ain't done winning yet. Me
and my family, we're so excited to be here down here,
didn't Matt you you know what I mean what I'm saying,
I can't wait to get off of the cook give
me some of that crawl fish and I eat too. Hey,

(30:03):
are they going to send you one of those Shamrocks series?
That's what it's the Shamrocks series, right, that's what they
call on this. Are they going to send you one
of those like commemorative number ten Brady Quinn? Probably not?
Why not? I don't know. I'm not really into like
jerseys that weren't the ones that I wore. Not that's
a hate for now. That's fine. That's why I don't

(30:26):
like being called a commando, I mean commander. That's like,
I'm not into that. I get that. I don't want
to be understanding that I'm not. Yeah, well commando. We
don't necessarily know, so technically that's not and I am
commando right now. Though for certain if anybody was wondering,
I mean it is thirty nine in the morning, Jonas

(30:47):
was Yeah, I'm glad you brought that out. Do you
want to know the beauty. The beauty of radio is
you can do the show in your pajamas. I know,
your pj's, your walk around the house clothes, whatever it
may be. I get dressed up. But again, like some
people take this more serious than others. That's dressed up
all right for you. Then you start rubbing his legs.

(31:09):
Stop rabbing yours. That's not my leg. Jonas never wears shorts. No,
I don't. Why would I wear shorts. It's true. A
flamingo with bad tattoos there's not a good look and
a barbed wire Yeah, thorn band, two pros and a

(31:32):
cup of Joe here, Fox Sports Radio, Good State. By
the way, their top top three, top four helmets, I
love those, and Unis School I love it, but I
like the retro UNI where they put the number on
the helmet and they wear the blue stripe on the
on the pants and the white shoes. I do like,
by the way, the vintage Hawaii jerseys and helmet combo.

(31:54):
Come on, man, I'm telling you, it's like I'm at
a couple of dudes at Universal the other day that
play for for Hawaii. Yeah they were offensive linemen. Yeah, yeah,
they didn't make it to the league though, they play
semi pro. Shots out to them, what are their names? Yeah?
I didn't remember their names. One of them had a
really smoking hot wife though, and that's why I probably
why I went and talk to them, like, I want

(32:15):
to know who you are? Why are you married to her?
Shout out well, yeah, he was like, yeah, I'm I
used to be an offensive tackle for Hawaii. I was like, okay,
did you make it? Like, because I'm looking at his chick,
I'm like, you clearly made it. He was like, no,
I played semi pro. I was like, okay, I was
uninterested after Yeah, well I moved on. I was like, oh, oh,

(32:36):
semi pro. I was like, okay, well you guys have
a good day. You know. I walked off Two pros

(34:28):
and for that was executive producer, Sorry Lee dig Digital Lapp.
That's right, you guys. In case you missed this, The
Ultimate Players coach Dan Campbell was spotted at uh AT
training camp taping up his wrists before participating in the updowns.
Do you guys ever have a coach that would participate

(34:49):
in drills that would say like a head coach? Yeah, yeah.
Ty Willingham used to do like we would do um
the Saturday morning workouts. You know, you get in there early,
could do these runs. Guys are throwing up. Then he
would literally do all of like the core stuff and
he abs cool all that and he was a machine.
Like I remember being like if this, if this guy

(35:11):
can do it, I gotta be able to do this,
because I mean he was old back then. So what
about Joe pop updowns or bench press or anything like that.
That's press. Yeah, after power cleans. Nah, that wasn't his
thing in the NFL, and he coaches Lavark. You do

(35:31):
an impression of what Joe would say if you asked
him to do it with you. Ah ah ah? Is
that Bucky Larson? No? No, I don't think they. I'm
gonna come in here to day, but I don't think

(35:53):
I'm gonna hit the weights with you guys today. Hey, hey,
j t Hey, hey, hey, put some more weight on.
Put some more weight on the bar. By the way,
Dan Campbell is going to be a star on Hard Knocks.
That's gonna be a lot of fun to watch. He's
a dope dude. He was a dope dude as a player. Man,
He's got a lot of personality. Yeah, yeah, he's cool.

(36:16):
Dan's cool, dude. What else you got, guys? Aaron Rodgers
clearly heard what Davante Adams had to say, comparing a
Derek Carr to himself calling him a Hall of Famer
when asked about having Allen Lazard back at practice. This
is what he had to say. I mean, it's always
tough going from Hall of Famer Hall of Famer. How
about him throwing some ship? Was that some shade at

(36:37):
Derek Carr? There? That's say that Lazard? Everyone say that
everybody that Derek shade? Aln Air. Baby, he came in.
He lets you know, he gave y'all, he gave y'all
ports shadow and how he was coming rolling cage in him.
But look out rolling coming for you. Who do you

(36:59):
think which a combination you think has a better year
this year? Derek Carr, Davante Adams or Almizard and Aaron
Rodgers Derek Adams? Why are you're gonna dismiss Almazard like that?
Here's here's what I'm saying. I've been with Josh. Josh
traded for me in Denver. I've seen how that guy
game plans. They're gonna move Davant Adams around wherever they want,

(37:23):
however they want to get whatever matchup they want to
get him the football. I watched him do it with
Brandon Lloyd and he got a pro boat of Yeah.
I mean like I've seen this. This I'm telling you, man,
Josh McDaniels is a different dude. He's on a different
level than anyone else game planning. I promise you but
Brandon Lloyd was good. Yeah, he was pretty good every

(37:44):
way he went and he played well. But did he
ever was he ever with anybody for longer than a
year or two years? It seemed like he always bounced around,
whether it was the Niners, whether it was the Broncos,
the Bears. He was the first, Oh b J Mann, Yes,
he had eight hands. He's the first catches like that.
I've witnessed it just like that back in the day.

(38:05):
He's the first. He's the first, O b J. But
he didn't do it on Sunday Night football. He did.
I mean he didn't do it in like a rivalry game,
I guess. I mean Brandon Lloydon made some catches. Boy,
he receiving that year in Denver, how about it? Yeah?
All right, we got to our two. Can you play
for the Commandos? Did he YEA? And your Commando? Yeah Commando.
