So we're at week five is just wrapped up in
the NFL, and you know, we're bye week season, so
(01:31):
we got teams that are having bye weeks. One of
the teams that was on a buy this past week
was the Cleveland Browns. They watched the AFC North just
do what the AFC North does, which is never makes sense,
and the Baltimore Ravens losing to Pittsburgh. And we talked
all about all that yesterday and one of the stories
that we kind of threw out there was, you know,
(01:52):
Deshaun Watson and this shoulder injury and this issue that
he had, Like you know, they got the Niners coming
up after what we saw the night due to Dallas
on primetime and what they've done to everybody, Like, you know,
I wonder if Deshaun Watson would just not playing this
game either because he was medically cleared to play the
previous week against Baltimore and often not to that according
(02:13):
to his head coach Kevin Stefanski, and so you know,
Stefanski was asked about it yesterday and Stefanski just said, hey, listen,
he's day to day, he's working to get better, and
when asked whether or not he's optimistic about it, Stefanski
just declined to comment and just say, yeah, you know,
(02:33):
we're just working through this, trying to get better every
single day. So I'm a little confused because if the
shoulder was healthy enough that he was medically cleared but
he decided not to play, I would assume the bye
week would do his body good and he would be
ready to go this next week. The fact that this
is even still a question or even up in the air.
We were joking yesterday, but it seems like there's a
(02:56):
legitimate possibility he might miss this week as well too.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Who do they play this week?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
The forty nine ers gosh, oh we don't.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Didn't come in our house. Oh no, you know what
that abuse.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
So either Stefanski gave out bad info last week and
said he was medically cleared when he wasn't, or Deshaun
Watson just doesn't want to play.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Or he got medically unclear during the clearity like somewhere
in between the clear and unclear is something could have happened.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Oh so he got a clear and then he got
a second opinion?
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Is this is clear? Like at the airports? Is that
where you're talking?
Speaker 6 (03:25):
He could have involved clear at he went through clear.
There's a miss, there's a miscommunication. Stevansky was like, you know,
that's shots. You have clear, and he's like, yeah, I
go through Clear all the time. They take anything off anything,
you know. Yeah, it's actually a nice service.
Speaker 7 (03:39):
Yea.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
What's the difference between clear and TSA pre.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Check TSA pre check?
Speaker 6 (03:44):
Uh, the only difference is you just have to get
your ID checked when you go through with Clear. They
do it beforehand, So he's kind of walked by the
TSA department.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
That's sweet. Yeah. The problem is that.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
It doesn't necessarily mean you don't have to take stuff
off though you have to have TSA pre and clear
in order for that to be the case.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
I got you.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Well, listen, Deshaun Watson maybe doesn't have either. So because
I don't, I just want to know what happened. In
the course of what did happen, he was medically cleared
and then he decided he just didn't want to play.
What happened in the hour before kickoff against Baltimore that
Deshaun Watson decided, Yeah, I can't give it a go.
(04:25):
And I wonder how the hell is this landing in
Cleveland with not only people in the locker room but
also fans there who are going, dude, are you serious?
Like this is where?
Speaker 4 (04:39):
No, I think it is what I think it is.
I think I think I.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Think Deshaun Watson is just I mean, you know, laughter,
I'm sorry, Yeah, you know, I think that really in
the scenario that that he finds himself and he's got
to make sure that he's one hundred percent healthy, because
y'all don't allow for him to do the rehab processes
(05:10):
that he has done in the past that has allowed
him to play at the highest of levels that he's
played at.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
So if he's not going to be clear to.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Be able to prepare and recover and stay supple the
way that he has successfully done it, y'all can't possibly
expect him to be the same type of player that
he once was.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Great, that's fair.
Speaker 6 (05:36):
Well, I want to know is why Jonas, Like, I
wonder what Cleveland? Just tell us what you want to
say Johonnas instead of throwing out the question, Well.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
I'm just I'm not a Cleveland Brown fan, so I
don't I wonder how this lands then, because I think
there are some Cleveland Brown fans who are just going
to be loyal no matter of.
Speaker 6 (05:51):
What Cliveland Brown the Browns, it's plural like Cleveland Brown.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Like basically, you got to be of a certain background
to be able to.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
Let me tell you something, if your franchise leaves and
goes and wins two Super Bowls elsewhere.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Then you get to be called whatever I call you.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
That's what I said. That happen bang bang bang bang.
Speaker 5 (06:14):
Nobody's safe, no one from the knocks. I just this
would piss me off if I if I was a
member of the roster and I'm looking around, going, dude,
you sat out against Baltimore when we needed you. Rookie
got got thrown under the bus and we got waxed
at home, and then we got an opportunity to play
the Niners and really see where we're at as an organization.
(06:37):
And still this is a question mark. If he doesn't
play somebody's flying.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Can I be I Can I be honest with you?
Speaker 6 (06:45):
From my interpretation from Browns fans, look, maybe I'm wrong,
Like maybe they can hit us up on social media and.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Tell me otherwise.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
From the Browns fans I'll talk to, they're in on
de Seawan because they feel like it gives them it's
chands to get the playoffs and.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Win a Super Bowl.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
So despite whatever happened before he got there, despite.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
This sort of thing, they're all in.
Speaker 6 (07:09):
They really like they're like, yeah, but you know, he's
really good when he's healthy, so like there's always kind
of that like excuses, Yeah, well, you know that was
the guy when he was in Houston. He doesn't do
all that massage stuff anymore. Like there's always an excuse.
So my feeling has been the fan base is bought
in because they understand that they have to be bought
in because this is what the future looks like. This
(07:30):
Browns team is led by to Shaun Watson. They made
a huge financial commitment to him, and whether they hit
it this year or not, it doesn't matter. They're not
moving on from him. So maybe it's just more he's
playing the long game. He feels like he's protected. He
could take his time to come back and be one
hundred percent. And mind you, he hasn't looked great this year,
(07:51):
So if that's the case, maybe he feels like he
doesn't want to go back out there. And look how
he did finishing the season last year, which wasn't great.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
He had great in three years.
Speaker 6 (08:00):
Well yeah, and I think that's the the problem is
as far as the Browns fans perspective, they don't care.
They just remember the year that he played really great
and people called him a top five quarterback.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
That's all they that's all they want to talk about. Hey,
but he's when he's healthy, he's the top. Okay, well
he's not healthy, So that's that's where they're at.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
That's at least the Browns fans that I've talked to
about it, because there is no other option. We already
sold DTR. There's a tough spot duty for him as
a rookie. But that was that was.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
A glimpse as far as what it could look like.
So they've made their bed. Now they're going to lay
in it.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
And this is you know, this is what happens when
you give a guy two hundred and thirty million dollars
fully guaranteed, is he can make these sort of decisions
And if you're Kevin Stefanski, what do you say to him?
He's Deshaun Watson has better job security in Cleveland than
Kevin Stefanski. So what what can Kevin Stefanski say to
Deshaun Watson that motivates him or makes him want to play?
Speaker 5 (09:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
What can you say? I mean what a prohame say?
Must be the money?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Like I don't, I don't know what the motivation would
be would be to probably try to salvage your career
and salvage your your reputation as as a player.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
But his career is not going to end after this year? True?
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Well, well here, here's all I'm saying is I'm just
trying to make sense of where we're at with it
right now. What what would be the motivation as as
it would stand. I mean that that would kind of
have to only be the only thing it is, right.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
That matters to him.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Let me let me throw this at you. Has Baker
Mayfield had a better career, had a better year than
Deshaun Watson?
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Yes, okay, so far?
Speaker 5 (09:47):
Has job Has Josh Dobbs had a better year than
Deshaun Watson?
Speaker 4 (09:52):
Yes, so far?
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (09:54):
And they traded him because they wanted to go with
d t r as the backup quarterback there so much
so that the GM, I think it was the GM
was asked last week if they had any reservations about
trading away Josh Dobbs two weeks before the season. So
this is a guy who's getting paid two hundred thirty
million dollars guaranteed, and a backup who they traded away
(10:15):
to Arizona is having a better year than him, and
the guy they got rid of so they could get
him for two hundred and thirty million guaranteed is having
a better year than him, and Brown fans are just
gonna wear it when he decides he doesn't want to
play against Baltimore and maybe doesn't want to play against
San Francisco. That's just there's committed and then there's that
I don't know, man, And to Brady's point, they don't
(10:38):
really have any other options.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
So you deal with what you get to deal with.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
I mean, look, Cleveland may draft someone this offseason, but
again they draw they just drafted. Dtr said, there's no
one putting pressure onto Sean Watson when you have a
contract like that, And I'll be honest, I've heard from
some funt office perspective, there's it's one of the reasons
why until you have a guy that's really solidified himself
(11:05):
as as a dude or as the young kids say,
as him, i'm him. Until you have a quarterback who
has done that at your spot, who's i'm him, I'm him,
then you can go ahead and give them that huge contract.
Because once you give the huge contract, there's really not
much you can say. You you hope that that contract
(11:27):
is a partnership as you work together. But the difference
is Cleveland and the Haslam family who obviously paid for
Deshaun Watson to come there. That was the incentive to
go to Cleveland. Now, granted, I've heard like it was
Atlanta people talked about. I've heard some from from from
some other folks that was gonna be the Saints.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Whatever the case.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Is on New Orleans was in the mix too.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
Huh Yeah, yeah, I was told.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
I told myself, whatever the case is, it doesn't matter
in the end, because they offer the best contract. He
took it. It's it's life changing, its generational wealth.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
We get that.
Speaker 6 (12:03):
But that's what they did to get him there. But
he doesn't have any earned equity with them. He's still
trying to earn that, but I don't think that he
cares to right now. The contract is the contract. He's
playing the long game. He's like, yeah, if I'm not
one hundred percent, I'll just you know, sit out.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
So I am.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
I mean, he should do the right thing and give
Phil Dawson his jersey back. Personally, I mean, we're gonna
be fair.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
But that's the that's the four that I knew. Yeah,
clutch love Phil big time.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Oh there's a lot of people that know this, this
four clutch four whole big, big time. He was clutching
big time when it really mattered, you know, and the negotiations.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Hey, by the way, uh, just a little bit of
a there's a I mean, is big when he needs
I don't know if this is considered breaking news? Is
this breaking news here on all?
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Right?
Speaker 5 (12:57):
Do we want to go with with with Eddie Garza
the lead, do we want to go with any on this?
Speaker 2 (13:00):
We'll just throw it.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
I mean, I don't know if we need official breaking
news on it. It's not like it's life altering.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Well might already kind of made it a big deal.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
I know I did.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Can we clean this up in the podcast.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
It's not breaking news.
Speaker 5 (13:14):
Yeah, it's not that big of a deal, all right,
So so we do have some sort of breaking news,
but it's fun to play the imaging anyways.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Here early in the morning, let's turn it over to
Eddie Garcia.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
For the breaking news from Fox Sports.
Speaker 7 (13:29):
Tom Pelissar reporting the Minnesota Vikings planned to place wide
receiver Justin Jefferson on injured reserve because of his hamstream
tree suffered in the lost to Kansas City. Exact timelined
to be determined how he responds to treatment, So out
at least four games Justin Jeffers.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Wow, So well that's breaking news for certain. I don't
know why you would have thought that wasn't breaking news.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Well it's not like it's a season ender.
Speaker 6 (13:51):
Well it's not, but it means they're seasons for sure.
Look at their next four games.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
A second, is this toe tag tuesdays?
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Are we just we're just burying people?
Speaker 6 (14:02):
Well?
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Hold on, they're one in four right now. After the
lost a kid last week.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
The only thing they have going for him is the
fact that they haven't played a divisional game.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
But yet, when does that start this week?
Speaker 6 (14:13):
This week they're at Chicago, and then two weeks after
that they're got Green Bay and I mean they've got
two divisional games, which I mean, again, it just seems
unlikely without their best player they're going to be able
to survive this. They've got San Francisco after Chicago, which
is on what Monday night football. I mean, I just
(14:35):
they're they're not going to be able to survive this.
And so yeah, it's not the end of the season
for him, but four games is the minimum and we
don't know how much longer it could be.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
So yeah, they said they were going to slow play it,
but I don't know they go thought.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
I mean, four out of their next six are on
the road.
Speaker 6 (14:51):
It's not like the most difficult because they've got Denver
in there, Atlanta obviously, Chicago this week, Jonas's Chicago Bears.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
But four of the six of those games are on
the road in that span.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
It's over Labar.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
They they go, that's a rep that'll do it well.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
Listen, Like I said, the Minnesota Twins arened a one
to one battle with Houston and their their divisional series
and the ALE playoffs, So there is some hope there.
You know, maybe the te Wolves all rally. You know,
the Minnesota Wilder around like, there's options there in Minnesota.
They got a lock on it.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
Questions is what does that mean for Kirk Cousins. What
does that mean for I mean, he's heading into free agency.
There's so many things up in the air. And then
what do you do with the roster? Do you look
at it and say we're going to rebuild? I mean,
they've got some veteran pieces on that team that have
played well this year despite the fact that win loss
record doesn't look good.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
Yeah, and and this is the the year if you
want to be in the draft for a quarterback to
peer with Justin Jefferson, this.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Is a good year. It's a good year.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Yeah, yeah, Soul, it could be that year.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Could be.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Here
on Fox, Broo, Lvar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you.
All right, So coming up next here we do have
some clarity. It's a problem for one team at quarterback,
but not when you got this guy stepping in. We'll
explain why that is. That's coming up next here on FSR.
Speaker 8 (16:16):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here, come
it up twenty minutes from now from the tire rack
dot Com studios. Every single Tuesday, we offer up a
would you rather hear? These are some questions sports nonsports
lead to lapp. We'll fire those off at us and
we try and tell you what we'd rather have. So
(16:51):
we'll get to that here again twenty minutes from now
here on FSR. But if you're the Indianapolis Colts and
you get a deal with the fact that you're rookie
quarterback Anthony Richardson AR five as they call him, is
out with an injury and he's going to be out
for a little bit of time here dealing with this injury.
And it seems like that's been a problem in his
career thus far. The guys what started four games in
(17:14):
the NFL left three of them early with injury, and
then he's got, you know, this latest injury that popped up.
So he's gonna miss some time here, and that means
you turn it over to the man himself, Minshew Mania Gardner.
Minshew's back, and he's back, and he's gonna get some
time starting for the Indianapolis Colts. And it starts with
the team that drafted him, the Jacksonville Jaguars this week
(17:38):
in a big time matchup. Huge opportunity for Gardner Minshew
and those Indianapolis Colts here, who I think are a
little better and a lot of people thought they'd be,
myself included.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
He's she's played well this.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Year, right, Yeah, he's always played well.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
I mean every time we've talked about getting a backup
quarterback or somewhere to go, you know, someone to be
traded to go somewhere to start. Minshew is always a
name you guys bring up. So I mean, here we go.
You good to see it over. I'm about say I
proved the point of having a good, good backup QB. Right,
Like they say, that's the most important position to have
(18:12):
is to have a second string quarterback.
Speaker 6 (18:14):
So it's your insurance policy, right, That's really what it is.
Your starter goes down, you need someone to come in
and kind of help you for a few weeks maybe
the rest of the season.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
You got a guy you feel confident in.
Speaker 6 (18:24):
I mean, the crazy thing is if you ever go
back and like, look at what was the Packers roster
back when they had Brett Farv, Detmer, Brunel, had all
these guys, they had a loaded quarterback room.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
It used to be like that, Like.
Speaker 6 (18:38):
People tend to forget you had Joe Montana and you
had Steve Young in the waiting.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
I mean, that was a lot more common back in
the day.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
I don't know why, or I guess or when it's
switched where teams have been so scared to have, you know,
the type of guys in a quarterback room that you
know may be all really talented or what. But it's
just I don't know if it's a competitive standpoint or
what you draw the conclusion to. But you know, this
is one in Indianapolis where there was a competition.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
Richardson won out. He's gotten hurt.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
Though, you know, you know, obviously the way he's played
has been a part of that. And and Minshew's coming
in and played well in spot duty. So I'm excited
for Gardner. He's he's a he's a you know, funny
he's a funny, talented guy.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
But he's got the chance now to play.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
With a team that's gonna probably be the best team
around him that he's had. And Jonathan Taylor comes back,
Zach Moss has already run the rock. Well, h but
a huge game as far as implications for the AFC
South and so great opportunity for him.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
What would you guys do with Anthony Richardson if you
were advising him, because yet he started four games, he's
left three because of injury and he missed another one
like this.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Where the injury is related. Well, are they three differents
on his body.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
But all basically from him running? Yeah? Oh man, I.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Mean you definitely at this point in his career, you
want to make sure he's as healthy as he can be.
You don't want to rush him back if that's what
you're asking.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
Well, because they say like Cam Newton, but Cam Newton
was later in his career the injury started to mount up.
This is four games in and he's left three of them.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
He doesn't seem like he's a fragile, body built type
of juke like a concussion. A concussion is a concussion
doesn't matter how big you are, just a bit the
way you can hit the ground or you get hit
in terms of like ac joint and taking hits like that.
I mean, I think you just got to have a
conversation with him, you know, and let him know that
this is something that just you can't be that guy.
(20:41):
The shelf life between a running back and a quarterback
are two different shelf lives, right the idea of understanding
the logic behind getting rid of the ball or having
all of these rules that are designed to protect the
quarterback and the best tents of the QB you have
to take advantage of those things. Somebody's just got to
have a come to Jesus conversation with him.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
You know. One thing about a running quarterback, the one.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
Thing I've always enjoyed the fact that Lamar is just
very slippery. Like there's not often times you're going to
see him get you know, a big hit laid or
planted on him. I mean, he gets out of bounce
or he's kind of he's just he's elusive. Like just
because you're a big body, you know, like a Cam
Newton or or even you know where Anthony is right now,
doesn't mean that those hits don't don't add up or
(21:29):
total up on your body. So I think he's got
to understand that it's good to be an athletic quarterback
to that can run the ball, But you also don't
want to be out there that Serengetti as many times
as as you're going. You know, it's just things could
go bad if you go out there on the wilderness
and on that while yonder like that. You know, the
bad things can happen to you.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
Man, what happens on that Serengetti.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Oh well, that's that's that's once you are. You know,
you call it walking between those those white lines man,
not the white lines that some people may think, but
don't white lines. You're entering into the National Game Reserve
called the National Serengetti Park, and it's a protected area,
but it's only protected from hunters and stuff like that.
It's actually a wild life you know, preserve, a reserve,
(22:15):
preserved whatever it is.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Anyways, you're yeah, you're either killed or be killed. You're
either predator or your prey out there.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
You know, they say you ain't ready for the getty.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
You ain't ready for the getty. I never heard that said.
But I'll go with you. Now.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
I've heard that before. I've heard that, I've heard it
one more time. I've heard what's happened? Oh man, my
here is on the next to that.
Speaker 6 (22:40):
Come on, man, someone's coming to get you.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Is that.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
I don't know about that one right there, but the
first one was all.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
The way and that's Beaver Stadium right there.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
You know they have so you know they have I
never knew this, but they have a speaker. They have
a speaker over top of where the buses park.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
On the way side of the stadium.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
And I only noticed because I did media and I
had the media entrances on the side of where the
visitors come in, and they have the Nitney line like
and it's loud, and it's like it's very very in
your face, like like glaring in your face on the
outside right edge, like right where the bus is when
you're getting off, that joint is over top of.
Speaker 5 (23:26):
You, like, aw ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
It's kind of I thought it was pretty cool, man.
It's it's it's a mental it's mental warfare. You're getting
off that joint and that that that that Nitney line
hollering at you.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Soon as you get off, get.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Off the bus.
Speaker 5 (23:45):
One of those motion sensors the neighbors have up during
Halloween and you walk by it and it's like some
goblin pops up and makes a noise.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
We just put some of those up.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
You just kind of thought to myself, what if you're
what if you're a traveling team and your your cat,
you know, your mascot is a cat too, like north West,
and you're a wild cat. It's like, oh, yeah, we're
you know, that's what we are too. So yeah, hey,
that's I feel like I'm at home.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
How many wild cat sound effects do you have in
the system? Sam, like that you've got at your disposal.
You got a nitny lion there, and then what el
it's like a cougar, a jaguar, just that.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
I mean, I have like a lion, but.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
You know I just played Does that sound like Sam?
Speaker 2 (24:27):
The lion sounds?
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Yeah? Oh yeah, that's what thunder?
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Do you imagine if you were out in the.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
And he had that one?
Speaker 5 (24:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:43):
By the way, I have an update for you, Jonas
for a question that you asked yesterday.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
That's a good show an update. Yeah, please, do you
need any imaging or anything? Gosh, Rady's I'm.
Speaker 6 (24:56):
Trying to think what type of music would be needed
for the question you post yesterday?
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Can we get some like? How about some Fox football
theme music?
Speaker 5 (25:06):
Okay, all right, let's fire this up. It's on page three,
away from the animal sound effects. Sam, I believe it's right. Good,
there we go.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
All right? What the hell is this.
Speaker 6 (25:20):
Is?
Speaker 4 (25:22):
I'm here to this guitar solo again?
Speaker 6 (25:25):
Just trust all right, it's it's hard some pepsam.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
You posed the question.
Speaker 6 (25:32):
Who would be the higher rated or which would be
the higher rated game between this past Sunday night football,
the Dallas Cowboys taking on the San Francisco forty nine
ers versus the previous week the Jets.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
And Chiefs highlighted by one Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Now, and this would tell us a lot.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
If the swifties one, I'm well, I don't know. I
don't know that it tells us a lot. It gives
us a little something.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
But two sundays ago, the Chiefs and Jets had twenty
seven million viewers.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Come on, NFL fans, please.
Speaker 6 (26:10):
This past Sunday, come on the Dallas Cowboys in Santa
Clair versus the San Francisco forty nine and a blowout.
Speaker 4 (26:18):
Mind you had forty to ten. Please more, more, Please more,
had twenty six point one million.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
Oh my god, Oh no, come on, man, I'm sick
of this crab.
Speaker 6 (26:28):
Okay, okay, okay, but let's take this with a grain
of salt. Oh no, one game was highly competitive.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
One game was not.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Oh yeah, but you got the Niners and the Cowboys.
Speaker 6 (26:39):
I know, it's it still shows you that even when
the Cowboys aren't competitive, there's still a good draw.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
Oh man, but the Jets, that's disheartening.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Well, the Jets is a big market. I mean it
is a big market.
Speaker 5 (26:52):
But they have two teams that's really disheartening.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Like if I were going to watch, oh, I don't
know which team.
Speaker 6 (26:58):
Well, the problem with the the Cowboy is that that
Fortners is even though the San Francisco the Bay area
is a big market.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
You know, they're probably busy on social media apps, so
that is true.
Speaker 6 (27:09):
At this point, they just expect their team to win.
I don't even know if they watch anymore. They're just
telling you forty one again. Could you amaze Taylor Swift?
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Could you imagine if Taylor Swift was like, I'm weighing
out my options.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
And was at the Dallas. You know forty nine ers game.
Speaker 5 (27:27):
What do you mean by options?
Speaker 4 (27:28):
What do I mean?
Speaker 1 (27:28):
I'm just saying she's weighing out her option.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Here's what I don't understand is like she obviously brought
a lot of attention.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
I think Christian McCaffrey should help throw his his girl
in the mix. I mean a lot of attention to
the LEA, and.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
They kind of showed their lightweight. They kind of lightweight
plugged her when I was.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Like, oh, he's such a gentleman off.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Of the field, and then they showed him rolling on
the ground like a like a lap dog.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
I'll correct that mistake right now. Check the group text.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
In a sec. We go ahead and get to that
right there. Not on colpo. Okay, all right, No, that
means you're doing all right there though. Stratosphere not even
the same stratosphere. Okay, well no, no, I'll take I'll
take either stratosphere, to be honest with you, Damn bang Bank.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
I mean, Joly, it is.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
You know you're talking about people's no significant y'all.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
How are you including me in this? Yeah, I mean
use it not same stratosphere that you said it. Damn,
that's a compliment. That's not Jonaso. Yeah, I mean, damn
his whole.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Damn theatrics behind Bang Bang Wow. I just said Christian
mccaffery's girl.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
That's just that just breaks my heart.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
The Taylor Swift beat Cowboys forty nine ers in a
ratings war, that really.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
That is kind of disheartening because you do know that
it's the Swifties that that separated them.
Speaker 6 (28:53):
I think here's the thing is, I think there's a
number of things that play with the Casey game versus
you know, the Jets. Besides the Taylor Swift stuff. You
do have the best quarterback in the league playing. He's
a huge drawl. Yeah, I mean guys have him on
their fantasy team. Kelsey's on their fans, Like, even if
you don't root for the Chiefs, it's a huge draw
(29:15):
for fantasy and all that.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
That's one. Two.
Speaker 6 (29:18):
I think it's a fair amout of people who are
always curious what happens with Zach Wilson, Like that's become
a storyline now the Jets have become a storyline, like
for NFL fans, like you kind of want to tune
in to see, like is this thing going to blow up?
Is he gonna play well, like what's gonna happen? It's
been interesting to cover and watch like it's been kind
of dramatic. And then there's the Taylor Swift effect on
top of it, Like outside of the Dallas San Francisco
(29:40):
rivalry and the curiosity of can Dallas actually show up
in a big game and be able to be competitive
and win, there's not as many storylines to that, Like
I'm serious, I think forty nine Ers fans they take
for granted a little bit like how good that team is?
Speaker 4 (29:57):
Another win? I'm sure at some point.
Speaker 6 (29:59):
There was when they were blowing them out, they were
kind of like, all right, let's just change the channel
to something else, you know, let's go stream something else
we're watching.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Yeah, it's not great news if you're doing any sort
of post game show for that game.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Who would that be on her? Do they have another?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Oh my gosh, do they have another Monday night game
Kansas City?
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Oh yeah, yeah, probably they got like eight of them.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
I would like to know what that you know, what
that's going to be, And we had what their their
rating is going to be, like will they beat that?
And if Taylor Swift will be in attendance or not,
like because she was quiet this Sunday. She didn't make
the trip to the men with it this week. It's a
short week. They play on Thursday night and it's a
perfect night for her to be there. But we asked
(30:45):
what she'd be on prime their next Yeah, it would.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Be interesting if she's there.
Speaker 6 (30:49):
Which, by the way, that game I believe is home
for them, so it could make some sense.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
I'm certain somebody's begging her to come.
Speaker 6 (30:57):
They do play Wednesday night football in uh November week
eleven November twenty versus the Eagles, So.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
It's all fun.
Speaker 5 (31:06):
It's all fun and games until you catch a straight
from al Michaels in a blowout.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
So tell her to be careful there.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
You don't want to.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Shove up on there now. I thought we were gonna
get more research from you shonnas.
Speaker 5 (31:14):

Speaker 4 (33:35):
You guys?
Speaker 10 (33:35):
You know what's coming? USC versus Notre Dame? Would you
rather play for? Lincoln? Riley or Marcus Freeman.
Speaker 6 (33:41):
Okay, hold on for a second. This is the most
unoriginal what idea that Lee's ever had, considering he stole
it off of the college football on FOXX.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
This is true?
Speaker 4 (33:53):
Did he really? Yes?
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Save for yourself? I mean, but since we're on the topics.
Speaker 6 (34:00):
My answer is obvious. Obviously I'd rather play for Marcus
because I'm not racist.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
That's why I chose Lincoln.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
I'm gonna go with Marcus three. But two, I'm not
getting canceled.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Yeah, back for Lehi, didn't you? Yeah? I knew that
was we already know, Yeah, Mark, Yeah, which a.
Speaker 10 (34:27):
Staying in usc? What are you talking?
Speaker 4 (34:28):
Right? Yeah?
Speaker 10 (34:30):
Guys, it's a seasonal drinking, seasonal drinking, seasonal drink season
is that?
Speaker 4 (34:36):
Which one is it? Lee?
Speaker 6 (34:37):
Well, it's just seasonal drinking, which is all your feel.
It's not a season, it's a lifestyle.
Speaker 10 (34:43):
The guys, pumpkin would you rather pumpkin spice? Latta Brady
a pumpkin spice latte, eggnug or shamrock shake.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
If you know me, you know pumpkins is my jam.
In fact, I'm sipping on one right now, So are
you really?
Speaker 4 (35:05):
I really am.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
By the way, the bar we were noticing yesterday you
were complimenting the pumpkin spice that was.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Made for you, and.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
It would that you were really into it, very.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
Complimentary of it was really good.
Speaker 5 (35:20):
The froth and the froth.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Was on point tric only. Yes, you a big froth guy.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
I am. If it's not froth properly, it doesn't taste
the same. You don't get the same experience.
Speaker 5 (35:36):
Is the shamrock shake minty, Yes it is.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
I'll go with that.
Speaker 6 (35:40):
Yeah, the other two I'm not really a part of.
I do like milkshakes, so I guess I'll go with
the shamrock shake.
Speaker 10 (35:47):
Sticking with the pumpkins. Would you rather go to a
pumpkin patch or a corn maze?
Speaker 4 (35:50):
She is really a leprechaun, like you really in real
life are a leper con They're always after me, like
at charms? Do you have charms? Do you have a
pot of gold? I wish? Do you have a rainbow? No?
It does? Okay, let's go. I believe you do. What
was the question? The question?
Speaker 10 (36:14):
Pumpkin patch or a corn maze?
Speaker 4 (36:18):
You're gonna be in a murder film like a horror film.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
Say puplkin patch, Yeah, I guess I'll go pumpkin patches
or what to do?
Speaker 4 (36:27):
What's the murder murder place?
Speaker 5 (36:29):
What is it a corn?
Speaker 4 (36:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:32):
I definitely would not do either of those. I'm gonna
be out on both of those. For the way, probably
you know it's not my my Jam.
Speaker 6 (36:42):
It's probably like one corn maze for every ten puplkin patches.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
Yeah, Sam, they got corn mazes in Iowa, you bet
you like a lot, a fair amount, not as many
pumpkin patches.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
Probably. Where did they film Children of the Corn? Iowa?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
Yeah, I don't know, Iowa. Probably filmed in California.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Actually it was Field.
Speaker 5 (37:02):
Yeah, it was all uh all one shot. They waited
till Field of Dreams was done and they say can
we borrow that? And then just filmed Children in the Corn.
Speaker 10 (37:09):
There, My god, it was wow. Brady Quinn Hornick, Iowa.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
Hey, Sam, take that? How about the apple?
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Sam good, get some or film credit. Put that in
your silo and smoke it.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
Sam, sit on that Siloam.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Remember the one main kid's name was Malachai. Sounded horrible,
like just very sinister. Silo center, Silo center, bitch, Silo.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
Center like a bunch of twelve year olds with microphones
right now, Well, that's true that the morning.
Speaker 10 (38:04):
What else, you guys, would you rather live on a
boat or in a treehouse?
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Boat? That's a good one. Yeese three house? We have
you ever hung out in a treehouse?
Speaker 1 (38:16):
So we would have had a treehouse, like a real
treehouse that you had to really really get up there,
and we slept in it one time.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
I thought it was pretty cool experience. Man, To be honest,
they slept on a boat before. That's cool experience too.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
I guess I'll go with the boat.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
I'm going with boat. You know, y'all know I love boat.
Speaker 5 (38:34):
I don't trust treehouses, even those real professional ones. They
seem like they're gonna You're gonna fall.
Speaker 4 (38:39):
It seems like a well, I mean, what about sinking?
Which one do you have a better chance of surviving in?
We're a life raft.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Yeah, you're fine.
