the way tire buying should be.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
So.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
I don't know if you guys know this or not,
but CD Lamb does not have a long term deal
yet with the Dallas Cowboys. Wasn't sure if you guys
were aware of that, but that is the situation with Dallas.

Speaker 6 (01:21):
Well.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, was speaking
yesterday with KATIEFW Fox four in Dallas about the situation
and had this to say, is your.

Speaker 7 (01:33):
Level of the concern rise the further camp goes along
in CD? Isn't part of it is with all this
good work being done out here?

Speaker 5 (01:39):
No, and I don't mean that to be insensed into
our fans are to CD. But we're in good shape
there and we are having promising talks. Folks say, well,
why you keep talking? Won't you do something again? As
in anything, it takes both of you there at the
same time. I believe it's got the proper amount of

(02:01):
everything emphasis importance for everybody and mom here and we'll.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
See how to go. So there we go. There's your
update from Knox.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Now, So Cede Lamb isn't available? Is he not making
himself available?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
It's the first takeaway.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
He's at Mango deck, you know, just waiting to get
a deal done. He's just waiting man trying. Yeah, yeah,
he's just waiting away.

Speaker 7 (02:27):
I mean, all these things are intertwined, are they not?

Speaker 8 (02:29):
The CD Lamb deal, Redd and Nyuk Jamar Chase, they're
kind of in a tough spot. I mean, CD is
probably the only one that might be able to surpass
Justin Jefferson, even though I think Chase.

Speaker 7 (02:43):
Ultimately will be the one when he does this deal
to do it, I.

Speaker 8 (02:47):
Just I think you're concerned if you're the player of
doing a deal then coming out and seeing another guy
who you feel like you're the same as, maybe better,
getting a much better deal. I'm sure the agent's concerned
about that too. Like it's the timing of all of this.
When we keep asking, for example, with Brendan Ayuk or
Jonas Does and John Lynch, why this isn't getting done

(03:08):
or why there isn't some sort of action happening. I
think it's in part that, like all of these deals
not being done or holding up the other they're all
the same position group. They're all franchise wide receivers, and
that's something that's complicated the matter because none of these
guys want to take a deal that pales in comparison
to the next guy.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I mean, Brady, I know you're asking for it, so
I mean, why even wait any longer. Let's get right
to it.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Breaking news from Fox Sports.

Speaker 9 (03:38):
That's on movement with Brandon Ayu, KR, Trent Lambs zero uptase.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Nothing's changed.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
So there we go, Brady, nothing has changed on the
Brandon Ayuk situation, according to Kyle Shanahan, So thank.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
You, thank you for that. I know you had to
get in your quota for today.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
I'm just letting you know now.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Jordan Schultz, by the way, did send this out yesterday
that the forty nine ers and Brandon Ayuk had another meeting.
Talks continue to progress on a long term contract extension.
There has been movement on a deal, but there are
some minor details that still need to be ironed out
with ownership approval.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
So there we go. Further explanation as to where things stand.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
It's the same exact deal that he turned down, same
exact deal. Now did they sweeten the pot? We heard
you say, is there possibility that the pot got a
little less sweeter?

Speaker 6 (04:32):
What are the details?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I would assume they may have offered him maybe a
little bit more, but I think out of all of
the scenarios, i UK is in the worst one of
them all. And I think it's because of the versatility
that Kyle Shanahan exercises with his play calling and how
he uses his personnel. I think it's without a question,

(04:57):
you know, Jamar Chase is the number one and the
guy like you lose Jamar Chase, you you're not going
to have the same type of success you would if
he was there. It's just that goes without saying. And
I think the same thing exists with with Ceedee Lamb.
I said this in our notes. I don't it's weird.

(05:21):
I feel like Brandon Ayuk situation, there's there's not as
much leverage where I feel like.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
I feel like Ceedee.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Lamb has the most the most leverage, and Jamar Chase
falls just a little bit maybe below uh Ceede Lamb
in terms of the importance to his team. Now, with
that being said, with that being said, what is it
that cdee Lamb is demanding to get?

Speaker 6 (05:54):
And I think you're right, Q.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
I think this continues to be a game of chicken,
and it's like which which receiver is going to get
their contract done and for how much? And I think
that that's going to play a tremendously large part. It
might play more of a part and what the contract
situation turns out to be for the other one more

(06:16):
so than Justin Jefferson. And that's why I would have
thought somebody would have got the deal done way before now,
because now the stakes are so high. You know, the
season is right here upon us. Are you okay with
going into the season still having to try to negotiate

(06:37):
a deal with these players? And the answer would have
to be a definitive no. They have to get a
deal done and they have to get this guy back,
whether it be Jamar Chase.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Or c d Lamb.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
So, but I don't I don't know that they feel
that way about Brandon Nayuk. I think that they would
love to have them. They are certainly a better team
with them, But I don't get the feeling that they
have this sense of urgency that if they can't get
Ayyuk signed, that they don't feel positive about moving forward

(07:14):
without his services.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
I mean, I just I look at it and I go, yeah,
I mean, Justin Jefferson reset the market and kind of
let everybody know, you know, thirty five is the number.
But It's not like they had to they had to
wait until after he signed to do this. Like there
was opportunities all throughout the offseason. They're opportunities to get
the deal done. And it's like in Dallas's case, they

(07:37):
just waited again. And now you're at the point to
where you're seeing numbers thrown out there to wear well,
they still haven't gotten to the thirty three mark. It's like,
all right, so then how does it I just want
one of these guys. Can we please let this bleed
into the regular season so we all didn't just waste
our time for two months? Like, please, like, can we
get a legitimate holdout. I want somebody sitting out as

(08:00):
I want there to be bad blood. I want a
fan base to be divided. We need some of that.
Enough with this pretending like none of these deals are
going to get done. And then right before the start
of the regular season, somebody signs a big term contract
and then we look back on the past two months
and Brady and Brady's got to feel accountable because he's
been forcing us to talk about this stuff the entire summer.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
I'm tired of it, man.

Speaker 7 (08:23):
Not sure why you do that to me?

Speaker 8 (08:24):
I mean you and I both though this is not
part of the rundown that I'm.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
A part of. Man, I just what's I want to
wait till something happens?

Speaker 3 (08:32):
What's your what's your go to when it comes to
getting deals done? What's the the quote you always give deadlines?

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Due deals?

Speaker 7 (08:40):
Deadlines?

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Do deals? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (08:41):
Yeah, I mean we're not quite there once we get
to the season. I think that's where it's, you know,
off the pot.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Yeah, everyone describe it.

Speaker 7 (08:53):
I'm sure at Lee's got a money or phrase.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
I see, you know. I don't know, man. How'd you
get to work today?

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Lee? I can't hear you? Lee?

Speaker 7 (09:05):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (09:09):
How did you get to work today?

Speaker 10 (09:12):
By Express?

Speaker 9 (09:13):
But I got what I got here on Express four wheels?

Speaker 10 (09:19):
Yeah, I can hear Uh, yeah, I got here. I
can't find.

Speaker 7 (09:24):
What Lee?

Speaker 4 (09:25):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (09:26):
How do you?

Speaker 7 (09:27):
How do can't buy my phone?

Speaker 6 (09:28):
Dude?

Speaker 9 (09:29):
I can't get onto my email. You know, I can't
even get onto my third email?

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Who cares about your phone?

Speaker 7 (09:36):
You get to work? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (09:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (09:38):
I drove whose car? My mother's car?

Speaker 7 (09:43):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (09:45):
By the way, I was here two hours early. I
don't know if that counts for me being an hour
late today? But uh, how is that yesterday?

Speaker 6 (09:51):
Yesterday? I was here two hours.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
That doesn't count no.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Account.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
I lost the Super Bowl for us today, but you
know what not that last game?

Speaker 6 (10:04):
Get here? You know I did really well?

Speaker 10 (10:06):
Oh man, dude, I know. I'm sorry. Guys.

Speaker 9 (10:11):
Hey, guys, hey, did you know in case you missed it,
j Low has left Ben Affleck?

Speaker 4 (10:16):
Yeah? Did we did? We did? We did that definitely,
We definitely definitely did.

Speaker 10 (10:23):
Dude, Dejon vous I thought that happened six months ago too.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Yeah, no, I did not. But I mean, you know this.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
Functioned malfunction. Malfunction, Lee's malfunctioning.

Speaker 9 (10:41):
I'm dancing around trying to get emails up and going
mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Okay, well, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
I mean, I would think you're maybe get a pulse
going would probably be the priority here because you seem
like you are out to mars.

Speaker 10 (10:58):
I'm fine today.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
You gotta protect them at all costs.

Speaker 9 (11:04):
Brady, Guys, you ever lose your phone, your whole life
goes the hell.

Speaker 7 (11:13):
It's sad that that's how our lives are set up there.

Speaker 10 (11:15):
I know, that's what I know. There's whole episodes about this.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
And then God, God stepped in and created this exactly.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
A lee You got me hm, go for fark masters.

should be all right. So yesterday we discussed some comments
recently from Mike Gundi, the head coach at Oklahoma State.
Let's take a listen to those We talked about this yesterday.

Speaker 12 (14:02):
There's no negotiating now, portals over all negotiations history.

Speaker 6 (14:07):
Now we're playing football.

Speaker 12 (14:08):
You know. The business side of what we do now
is is we have to have those conversations with him.
You know, tell your agent quick calling us and asking
for maloney. It's non negotiable. Now start again in December.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Oklahoma State announced yesterday the players will be wearing a
QR code on their helmets linking a donation page to
the school's nil phonte this season.

Speaker 8 (14:28):
So for I mean, he goes from saying that, then yeah,
we hate it. By the way, did we get those
QR codes put on the back of the helmets, just
making sure so we could you know, make sure we
get these players paid.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Does feel a little bit odd.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
I just wonder how many players, how many players who
are like hold on, dude, like you just told us, like,
tell our agents stop calling, get back to me in December.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
But here's a QR code you.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Can link and donate to our nil fond I just yeah, well,
kind a wild man.

Speaker 7 (15:04):
I love Mike Gundhy though he's he's one of the best.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
I mean, he tells it how it is, or at
least how he sees it from his perspective. And what
I like about it is this is the first team
we've kind of heard of doing and being this emboldened
in trying to make sure they stay amongst the rest,
amongst the top in college football. And for Oklahoma State,

(15:28):
that's going to hit home a bit because your in
state rival has just left to go to another conference,
which is you know, taken away Bedlam at least as
we used to know it, and what that would mean
potentially for the conference. But that had to have been
a wake up check for a lot of Cowboys fans

(15:50):
in watching their you know, hated rival, if you will
move on to the SEC and be in a safe haven,
as we watch the world of college sports continue to change.
Oklahoma's a better spot than Oklahoma State, and so you've
got to do these sort of creative things in order
to remain at the top or competitive. And at least

(16:13):
they're willing to do it. At least they're willing to try,
so I give them a lot of credit. I know
it's going to come with some criticism. I do think
it literally stands in the way of the pay for play.
When you start putting a QR code where you can
literally go donate in that moment to that fund and
help out student athletes, it feels that it is pay

(16:35):
for play. And obviously the NCAA isn't wanting to step
in given the issues they've faced in court anytime they
do try to get in the way of nil and
where this whole thing's going.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah, talk about price on your head, huh.

Speaker 6 (16:52):
I just think I just think that it's a tad bit.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
I don't know. I want to say it's innovative. I mean,
I saw it yesterday, saw it pretty early. I mean
it's a sign of the times. You know, there's so
many different ways of trying to figure out how this
all works and what direction you take it in. No
one's going to be more endearing to the fans than

(17:21):
the players, you know, the ones that are participating. So
I guess there's that element of it. But I just
think that the deeper this rabbit hole continues to get,
and the more the more information that continues to come
out and is developing around NIL, it's just to me,

(17:42):
it's screaming for structure. There's just not enough infrastructure in
place for NIL to be safe.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
I just don't feel like it's a safe place. I
really don't.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
And then until there are enough enough things structure structurally speaking,
unless there's more in place to be able to give
parameters to create I guess maybe a safer a safer place.

Speaker 6 (18:22):
I don't. I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Maybe that's not what I'm looking for word wise, but
I just feel like.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
N I L, you know, and I'm deep into in
I L.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
I'm doing a lot of work in N I L,
and it just seems to be so much lack of
understanding as to what what the space should represent maybe
versus what the space is representing right now. I think
some people are trying to do it as correct as

(18:54):
they possibly can under the circumstances of not truly understanding.
But what nil represents. I think you're trying to do
the best by your school. You're trying to do the
best by the athletes.

Speaker 6 (19:09):
And and what does that look like? What is that?
You know?

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Is it putting QR codes on a helmet? I mean,
I don't know. I think I think the ultimate the
ultimate resolution does not exist in fundraising h through through
the through the fans. I mean, it just doesn't exist there.
It's going it's going to have to come from from
rev sharing. It's going to have to come from TV money.

(19:36):
If you ask me, because you're already you're already tapping
into you know, a resource that is using their money already.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
What's the minimum donation going to be? What would you guess?
Like a dollar? Are they going to go under a dollar?

Speaker 6 (19:51):
Like?

Speaker 4 (19:51):
What do we what do we think?

Speaker 8 (19:52):
Well, yeah, think about it. I mean, I don't know
how much that stadium sits. There are seats, but match
you've got a sold out game and I don't know
if it's sixty thousand, everyone donates a buck, that's a
sixty thousand. You multiply that by what six home games?
There's right there, three undred and sixty thousand dollars, so
that could go to it.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
They said.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
They said in the release that it'll be an inch
and a half the box on the back of the helmet.
The QR code will be an inch and a half.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
They said.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
It won't be visible from the stands, but you'll be
able to do it from home.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
On from your couch. Bill.

Speaker 8 (20:24):
Yeah, but they'll also be able to put up with
the Chubb trotum saying at the games, we try and
find attendance there.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I wonder what they're It's not a big stadium, but
it's one of the most mean.

Speaker 8 (20:38):
The confines are tight. It is an intimate atmosphere. The
way the fans there can bang on the sides of
the pads actually down there a field level fifty four.

Speaker 7 (20:51):
It's a pretty cool atmosphere.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
I wonder if they have good internet during the gang
you know where they can go in and do it.
I just don't know who. I just don't know who's
going to do that, Like I'm prompted to use a
QR code to give money.

Speaker 8 (21:09):
When a guy hits a big play, you don't think
if they show his helmet, they're not gonna be like.

Speaker 6 (21:13):
Let me, let me donate to him.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
Let do that to my boy.

Speaker 6 (21:15):
Yeah, you know it.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
I think you're gonna do it. I'm gonna do it.
I just want to try it. I just want to
see what it is. And then depending on how my
bet goes on Oklahoma State, like that'll determine how much
I'm willing to donate. Like if I if I win
twenty bucks on Oklahoma State on like a first quarter bet,
then I'll be like, you know what, I'll give you
five of that. And then if they cost me money,
then I'll give him like a dollar, you know, just

(21:38):
to like I'll just like decrease it as the game
goes on. So this could be a lot of fun.
It's innovative. I'm just wondering how much they could pull
in a game, like like what would be you know,
five grand, ten grand? Like what are we talking about here?
That would be worth them, you know, putting this on
and having him go.

Speaker 7 (21:55):
With five Jonas.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I don't know, man, I mean I'm used to powerhouse
programs like Hawaii. I don't know if Oklahoma State's got
that kind of leverage.

Speaker 7 (22:03):
Are they going to have a week zero opponent? Have
we got an update on there?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Have they made it there yet, did they? What was
they ten?

Speaker 3 (22:10):
I saw ten hours late or something like that that
that Delaware State was.

Speaker 7 (22:16):
Oh, it's a ten and a half hour flight.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
I thought, okay, well listen, man, you know, whatever it is,
you're you're running into things there.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Timmy Chang's got that team firing on all cylinders.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
That'll be like sixty five hundred people there to watch it.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
So playoff bound, playoff bound this year? Maybe?

Speaker 3 (22:36):
I mean, now that they've expanded it, they're not going
to screw them over anymore.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
You know.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
That was what was this year? Yeah, you know they okay,
Rainbow Warriors.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
They were getting and squeezed out all right? Something there.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Hey, by the way, how about who's the guy from
West Virginia who's trash talking Penn State? Now he's making
some some comment. Uh, Garnett Hollis Junior said, quote last
year they ran some of the same stuff against Northwestern
as they did us in Week one. They're the same team.

(23:12):
They don't show too much respect for their opponents unless
it's Michigan or Ohio State.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
We think about that bar what do you think about that?

Speaker 6 (23:19):
He's unentitle to his opinion?

Speaker 1 (23:22):
You know, I would say, our offense isn't good enough
to be picking and choosing, you know, how we call
the game. I think they certainly want to put their
best foot forward every week.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Yeah, what do you think?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
There's a lot of pressure on Penn State to win.
There's a lot of pressure on James Franklin to win.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
What do you think about this? Though?

Speaker 3 (23:41):
They think every team is just going to give them
the game. When we go out there and punch them
in the mouth and we take the life from them,
that's going to be the difference. We got the quarterback
to do it, We got the offense to put up
points against those guys, we got the defense to shut
them down. I'm ready to go against them quite well.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Last year. You know, they were able to run the ball.
They had a little bit of success running the ball
last year. I mean, I think West Virginia's a good team,
and they do have a good quarterback that's returning. I mean,
I'm not sure how good their offensive line will be.
Their their old line was the catalysts of why they

(24:20):
were to me so good at least so formidable in
that game against US last year. But make no mistake
about it, Penn State's defensive front will more than likely
be better than what it was last year. No, oh yeah,
oh yeah, then Sutton is going to, like remember the

(24:44):
name number thirty three, is going to be ignorant as
a defensive end.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
And they moved then they moved Abdul to.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
The other end. He's almost I mean he's I mean,
he's special at that position. You guy Zaine Durant on
the inside with a host of other defense that de
von els their their defensive front is going to be.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
Better than what it was last year. I know we
had a dec. How didn't we go?

Speaker 8 (25:17):
How do you feel about the fact that, I mean,
the cornerback made the comment that Penn State only gets
up or shows respect for Michigan Ohio State, that that's it. Yeah,
you feel legitimacy in that.

Speaker 6 (25:29):
I don't buy that.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
No, I think they, if anything, I think I think
that against Michigan and Ohio State, Penn State, and I
think even historically, I just think they get tight against
Penn against Ohio State and in Michigan. It's I don't
know how this coaching staff is, but it just seems

(25:50):
as though you know that reputation is is something that
would be connected to us, that we get tight, and
while we could play better, we don't because of the
magnitude of the game, whether it be coaching, whether it
be playing, We just haven't proven that we can win
those games. And I think a lot of it has

(26:12):
to do with the way we view ourselves as it
applies to in comparison to those two programs in particular.
But they go out there to win every week, and
you can get clipped by a team like West Virginia.
You can get clipped by other teams that you know,
Wisconsin and Iowa. You can get clipped by Minnesota. I

(26:34):
know that firsthand, you know, or Purdue, they can get you,
like teams in the Big Ten can get you. Maryland
could could run up on you and they could get you.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
So I was gonna ask you, this is kind of
a tricky spot, right especially opening week like that. You're
gonna have to go because that place is going to
be it's going to.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Be rocket, Morgantown is going to be rocket. Yeah, it's
going to be It's going to be a good game.
It was a good game last year. It was a
good game last year. So I don't know, don't I
think I think that's kind of him trying to to
convince himself of something that makes it bigger to them,
make it a bigger game to them, But it's.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
A big game to Penn State.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I don't think anybody's walking into this looking at it,
taking it lightly as if they can't win. I've been
around this team quite a bit. I've been, like, I've
been in State College quite a big been practice. Yeah,
I've seen him practice, I've been. I've been around them.
So I think they they understand that they got a

(27:35):
unique opportunity here, and none of them want to They
certainly don't want to give up a game at any
point in time.

Speaker 6 (27:45):
You know that.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
I think that this is the type of group they
want to win every game. So I just think that's
more so how he feels as a player. I mean,
maybe it's an inferiority complex. Maybe he just feels like
Penn State thinks they're better in his because maybe he
believes Penn State is better than them.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
I don't really know where where the origin of him
feeling that way came from, because I mean, we only
played on one time. I mean this current group they've
I think they've only played last year. So he doesn't
even know enough about Penn State to even to even,
you know, talk about him.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
Now, Will you be making an appearance on the set
of Big New Kickoff starring Rob Stone.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
No, I'll be there next week. I'll be there next
week all next week, but I leave on Friday. Come
see man Man play, so every game I can see
him play, I'm gonna come. I wanted to go to Morgantown,
though I've never been there for a game. I heard
that the puddle jumping parties are are amazing, But yeah,

(28:48):
I won't be at that one now.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
I heard they party really hard in Morgantown, Man, And
I heard at some point it gets a little gets
a little out of hand and people start jumping in
the mud puddles, and you know, one thing leads to another.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
I guess I don't know. Well, we'll have to wait
and see.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Yeah, well, it's gonna be fun.

Speaker 3 (29:09):

I never get the opportunity to do it. It feels like
it comes once every three months. I'm like quarterly getting
the opportunity.

Speaker 7 (32:44):
I mean, Lee, you.

Speaker 6 (32:44):
Are the good, buddy, you are the good.

Speaker 8 (32:47):
Your performance this week and over the past literally seven days,
in every capacity, from fighting through the.

Speaker 7 (32:54):
Adversity of having the bums.

Speaker 8 (32:57):
To a soup kitchen in the back ah break into
your car, to being without a car and now finding
your way to the studio against all odds.

Speaker 7 (33:07):
We're just thankful for you. Man.

Speaker 8 (33:09):
You are the one and only the big Lee Bowski.
And so you, my friend, persevering through all of the
adversity that's been thrown your way and being able to
make it.

Speaker 9 (33:21):
Wow, man, I feel awesome, not just good, I feel
awesome hereing that Thank you, Brady Man. That makes my day.
H Could be better, could be worse?

Speaker 10 (33:29):
As my motto, you know, but you can't.

Speaker 7 (33:32):
Be better without being Is that your motto?

Speaker 10 (33:35):
I say it every day.

Speaker 9 (33:36):
Could be better? I say it every day because every
day someone's gonna ask you how you doing?

Speaker 10 (33:42):
Could be better? Could be worse?

Speaker 4 (33:46):
Makes sense to me.

Speaker 10 (33:48):
And if you were feeling worse, you'd probably ask, what's
what's bad about this week? Right, LaVar? What's bad about
this week?

Speaker 6 (33:56):
I'm gonna go with you. I'm gonna keep it on you.

Speaker 7 (33:59):
I felt that.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Damn the things that are happening of you this week
have been bad, man. I mean, I just can't understand
how the bums would would defoul the back seat of
your car, push your window out from the inside.

Speaker 10 (34:15):
Wait, all kinds.

Speaker 6 (34:17):
Of jim remains?

Speaker 1 (34:19):
Uh And and you can't probably can't.

Speaker 6 (34:27):
What is it anyway? What is the word? Slang word? Anyway?

Speaker 1 (34:32):
It's kind of funny though, uh And and then they
took your book bag. And if that wasn't bad enough,
the fact that you get your book bag taken and
now you can't find your cell phone. I just think
that it's been a rough week for you. My guy's
been bad for you. But like you said, it could
always be better, it could always be worse. So hey,

(34:55):
there's there's always tomorrow the week. The week is still
we're at the midway point, so you still have a
chance to improve on your circumstances on Thursday and Friday,
and well, I guess we count Saturday as well, so
you got you got three more days coming up. It's
been bad for you, but you know what, hopefully it

(35:19):
gets better.

Speaker 10 (35:19):
Lee, Thank you LeVar.

Speaker 9 (35:21):
We're getting to the finish line, which is what I
would say, because the finish line to me is your
first fantasy football draft, and that's coming up on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Oh, yours is a Sunday.

Speaker 10 (35:31):
That's the first one.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Oh, you are going to be buckled on Monday morning.
There's not a shot in hell he comes back and
not half in the bag.

Speaker 10 (35:39):
I know we had a pre meeting draft yesterday.

Speaker 6 (35:43):
About what.

Speaker 9 (35:46):
Because this is the latest we're ever holding the draft.
I usually hold it at like eleven am on a
Sunday after Mass.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
Of course, this time of course. Of course, this time
it's going to be like.

Speaker 9 (35:57):
Five pm on a Sunday, a day bro, dude, I know,
I know, I know. How long do your drafts go?
I like to say an hour and a half when
it's live. No, you know what, they're longer when they're live.
It's it's like closer to three hours.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
Yeah, okay, so by eight of com my god.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
All right, So whatever happened today, guys, be ready for
that to happen Monday.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
I'm just like, you know, no.

Speaker 7 (36:21):
No, Lee, what's gonna happen, Budd?

Speaker 4 (36:26):
I'm telling you, man, what happened?

Speaker 9 (36:28):
The rapid radio there for you the live picks to.

Speaker 6 (36:33):
Wait, what happened?

Speaker 10 (36:34):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (36:34):
Was? I was?

Speaker 9 (36:36):
I don't know, man, I was, I don't know, man, Man,
I need to find the phone.

Speaker 6 (36:42):
Was it alien abduction? Did they just drop you off?

Speaker 4 (36:46):
That would be sweet?

Speaker 10 (36:48):
It was Taco Tuesday?

Speaker 7 (36:50):
Yeah, but that happened Taco Tuesday.

Speaker 10 (36:53):
Taco Tuesday. All right, Hey, guys, good bad to worse?
What was ugly this week?

Speaker 4 (36:58):
Jonas well?

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Up right up Randy Gregory, formerly of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
who decided, you know what, I'm going to sign a
one year deal with the team and just not show up.
And here was the coach of the Bucks, Todd Bowles,
talking about his disappointment.

Speaker 6 (37:14):
No, I'll never find out what. I wish him the
best and you know we'll move on from there. I
can't miss what you never had.

Speaker 4 (37:23):
Like what happened here, just what happens.

Speaker 7 (37:27):
It seems like a pretty clean break.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
I mean, it's an ugly situation.
