Speaker 4 (00:55):
An unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road has a
protection and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack dot
com the way tire buying should be. So apparently Tyreek
Hill and I don't know who started this rumor. I
don't know who threw this out there, But all of

(01:16):
a sudden, the guy shows a little bit of you know,
anger on the sidelines because he doesn't feel like the
offense is any good. And then the.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Speculation becomes, I wouldn't be wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
The speculation becomes, well, maybe the Chiefs should just go
out and trade for him. It's like, all right, well,
he just got his deal redone in the off season,
like his quarterbacks just on ir It's not like the
guy you know is going away forever as of yet,
and all of a sudden the trade speculation has started.
So Tyreek Hill made sure to let everybody know loyal

(01:48):
to where he's at, likes being where he's at.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
This was yesterday. I'm just focused on why here and
why not.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
We got a beautiful team here and I want to
be a part of it. We got a great situation here.
Our family loves it. I enjoy the weather's great, the
fans are great.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
Obviously.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
My parents always taught me, you.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Know, control the controllabooks, and I don't like to control
so much, you know what I'm saying. So with that
being said, they all know the NFL of the business,
and whatever happens happens.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
You know what I'm saying, so I'm moving forward. I
would love to be here. I love being there. Why
the hell would they trade him?

Speaker 4 (02:17):
And the more that this goes on, the more you realize, Wow,
Tua really was kind of holding this whole thing together.
If that's the case, to where he goes down on
ir for four games and now we're talking about trading away,
you know, future Hall of Famer and Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
Yeah, and his cap hit isn't that bad this year,
So I mean he would be a tradeable asset, as in,
someone would be able to bring him on his his
you know, salaries relatively low. That team's paid for a
signing bonus, so if you're looking at it from a
contract standpoint, you actually would be able to move on
from him, and there would most likely be a suitor.

(02:54):
A team might be looking for services. You know, we
talked about if DeVonta Adams gets DELP, maybe the Raider
are looking at him and saying, there's a there's a
potential chance. But he's playing still at a really high
level even though he's thirty years old. I think some
people look at that as like that mark of decline
for a lot of athletes, but not so much for
him and to for the point like he's I don't

(03:17):
think he's trying to get out, and so if he's not,
if you're the organization, you kind of wonder like, all right,
like do we really need to I mean, they're probably
going to need to restructure his contract after this year.

Speaker 6 (03:28):
He's got a couple of years left and.

Speaker 7 (03:29):
Then he's got some voided years on the backside of it,
which helped create the value of the three year, ninety
million dollars deal in the thirty million average annual value,
which at the time was I believe the highest of
any wide receivers. So all those metrics and things will
have to be played with this offseason. But I don't
see why they should move on from him. I mean,

(03:50):
if they do, do you feel like Jalen Waddell could
slide in and take over that number one role.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I don't think that's the case. They're not doing well
right now.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I think with him on the field, I think the
biggest dilemma here, and what someone like Tyreek Hill at
his age has to take into consideration is what is
the contingency plan without Tua. That's the reality here, That's
what people have to start addressing. What can this team

(04:19):
do without Tua? And the second part of it is
how do you properly plan being without Tua while still
having Tua. It's such a it's such a complicated position
for this Miami Dolphins team to be in because you

(04:41):
don't want to appear to look like you're bringing in
someone that says you're moving on or planning on moving
on from Tua. But you also don't want to act
as though you don't understand what's going on with Tua's health.
You can't act oblivious to the idea that this man
is generally one hit away from being.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Done with football.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
It's a very complicated and complex position to be in.
And if i'm Tareek Hill, like I commend him for
showing loyalty. And even if he doesn't mean it and
it was tongue in cheek, I mean, Davonte Adams didn't
come out and say this, right. I think the thing
that jumped out at me when we were listening to him,

(05:27):
you know, reference himself and the third person was the
third person wasn't saying they wanted to stay in Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Never, not one time, not one time.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
But Tyreek Hill made it a point to say, this
is a beautiful team, it's a beautiful place.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
He loves the weather.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I mean, I would say those same things about Las Vegas.
I've been to both of those places quite a few times.
I like both those places a whole. In fact, they
have some very very staunch similarities in terms of being
in beautiful cities. So there's no reason for Davante why
you smile it, there's no reason for there not to be,

(06:10):
you know, a buy in from Devonte Adams. So when
I look at what this is, this scenario is, I
would wonder and looking at what Tarreek Hill is facing
versus what a Davante Adams is facing, what.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Makes this.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
In some cases, I feel like you're in a worse
situation if you're Tyreek Hill than even being in the
Devonte Adams situation that he's now seemingly.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Trying to get out of.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Because you're kind of in limbo. You're in limbo, really know,
and by the way, you know they're going.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
To replacementshew at some point you know that and listen
And by the way, you don't know what's going to
happen with the Dolphins, Like.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
If the Dolphins now that you look back on it.
If the Dolphins don't come back and win that game
against Jacksonville in Week one, this isn't zero and for
football team. And they're bad, like they aren't like these
other games they.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Haven't been competitive in.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
And I know Tua being gone is the huge story
and factor and all that, but facts are facts. It's
a really bad team. And if they lose to New
England this weekend, you guys.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
Aren't counting the what over the Browns is significant.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
No, I'm talking about the Dolphins. On the Dolphins. I mean, listen,
anytime the Raiders can beat a super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
The Ravens too. I think they have some significant legitimate wins.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
Maybe they'd be the top of the AFC North right
now if they're planning it.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah, that'd be great.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
I just I don't know where this. It almost feels
like people just assume, well, it's Tyreek Hill. He's a
wide receiver. He probably wants out at this point. He's like, no,
not really. I kind of like it here. It's cool.
I mean, you know, he had a little bit of
a dust up before a game.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
I just wonder how much he means it. How much
do you mean I think he handled it? The right way,
But behind closed doors.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
What is he saying?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
My family and then want to be here, But what
are the conversations they're having behind doors? Can we get
up out of here with is little damage to my
reputation and to my brand as much as possible? It
could be time to move on from the Miami Dolphins
if I'm someone like Tyreek Hill, because I just do

(08:25):
not know if this team can win without Tua and
if it's that setup where that reality is now on
the table, that's not up for debate, Like Q called
it before.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
They even played one game, and then it played.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Out way too close, like way too accurate to the
way that it was explained, like they're going to They're
not only going to lose, they're gonna stink.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
This team stinks.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
And Tyreek Hill is not inactive, he's not injured, he's
not on the sideline. He's out there, and that's got
to be frustrating. And the idea of it has to
be what do I do because we are held hostage
by Toua's health. That's the hostage situation. I'm good if

(09:15):
he's here, but we're not if he's not. And we're
clear on that, So what do I do. That's a
hard as hell question to have to answer. If you're
someone like Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
I would be shocked if they traded him. I just
I don't know what, why would you do it?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
It's the NFL.

Speaker 7 (09:33):
Man, nothing ever surprises me. That being said, I'd be
surprised by this.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
I mean, then, what's the plant they can beat. I'm
not saying they will. They can beat New England this weekend. Okay,
New England stinks. Okay, they can beat New England. So
then all of a sudden you're two and three, and
then you know you're at least, you know, maybe possibly
starting to get back into the mix, and then go

(10:00):
from there and then two us coming back in a
couple of weeks. Like it doesn't they're not that far
out of it. And the way Buffalo looked the other night,
whether that was just a product of Hey, this is.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
They're good man. Stop don't put product of or caveats.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
The Bills are good man. That's a good team. That's
the best team, and that that that division. That's the
best team. That is the team to beat, No caveats,
that's the team to beat.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
You know, if tomorrow Hammilin was such a dirty player.
Two would be still be out there.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
But you know, yeah, go figure, that's terrible.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
What's wrong with you? I don't know what should bring
on the worst parts for people get mad at you.
You bring it all on your side.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
I just want to point out all angles on this
whole thing so we can Yeah, I just want to
exhaust all the difference here. Well listen, we if that
goes down, we will keep you posting here on this show.
Two Pros and Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you. Also, by the way,
should you mentioned I don't know if you guys saw
this yesterday and you just tell me whether or not

(11:05):
I'm overthinking this. Ye So, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Jeremy
Fowler of ESPN put together this long article talking about
Steffan Diggs and what we're wrong in Buffalo and now
that they're playing the Bills this week and the Texans are.
It's kind of the meeting and sort of a deep dive,

(11:25):
and basically it was nothing earth shattering. It was just,
you know, the guy was kind of a pain in
the ass behind the scenes. Same with Minnesota. They talked
to sources in Buffalo. Why are the Bills still talking
about this like it's over? But who cares? Who was
at fault? Why it went down this way? Like, who
gives a rip? Why is anybody from the Bills organization

(11:47):
entertaining more discussions about what happened with Stefan Diggs If
you're all trying to move on like they're talking about, well,
you know, we didn't need him anymore and he was just,
you know, too much of a hassle behind the scenes,
Why even go there like it's over? Just move on.
It didn't work out. He's in somewhere else. You guys
feel like you're in a better place without it, Like,

(12:08):
why give anybody any more material or motivation to want
to come out here and dial it up against you
this weekend? What's the point? Like, that's that part of it.
Whether you're Sean McDermott or somebody in the organization, why
don't you tell everybody, hey, shut the hell up. When
somebody calls wanting information about what went wrong, we don't
have to answer it, and we don't have to give
anything out.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
If they had definitively replaced them, I don't think that
they would feel obligated to try to justify themselves. But
they did not legitimately replace the player that Stefan Diggs
represent it to this team. So I almost feel like
there's some sort of justification that they're living with right now.

(12:54):
They have to continue to justify why they did it.
Would be the only thing I could come up with
that would be reasonable and sensible to say, you know what,
it makes sense. They did not replace a number one
receiver with a number one receiver. They just basically, we
got to get him up out of here. We'll eat it,

(13:16):
as they said, we'll eat it, We'll deal with it.
But it was time to get rid of Stepan Diggs
from this organization. So it's an easy story to follow
up on, especially when it's a game week when they're
going to play against Stefan Diggs, or when you hear
some of the back and forth comments that may come

(13:37):
from Stepan or from one, you know, Josh Allen, somebody
from the Bills. I think it's just still a conversation
that the Bills entertained because they never replaced Stepan Diggs.
There's not a Davante Adams stepped in on a MARII
Cooper stepped in, and now it's like the comparable is Okay,
we got Tyreek Hill now and you know, now, what's

(14:00):
that look like? You don't have that replacement? You don't
have it. So now the question is do you run
into a situation and a problem with this team when
you get into games and get later on into the season,
when the defenses start to dial up what it is
that they're scouting from these teams in the first part
of the year. Are you going to have enough firepower

(14:22):
to do it? Or is Josh Allen going to have
to be mister do it all and push and try
to get it done on his own Josh Allen, which
has historically been what it's been for him and has
been an achilles hill to this team's success by the way.

Speaker 7 (14:37):
I mean, his turnovers have been an issue, no doubt,
But I think when he cleans it up, it's a
different story. What this brings the light and look, I
can't answer the question, Jonas, because I don't know what
goes through organizations when they feel like need to be
so transparent sometimes with the media. I get they want
to be on their good side, but there's really no benefit,
you know, either way, or I guess I should put

(14:57):
it this way. The reward isn't bigger than the resk
of like being distracted by all that or providing that
bulletin board material, but like stepping back and looking at
how teams are constructing their rosters. I think you'd like
to organically have that number one guy, you know, come
from a draft pick that grows in the position and
you can you know, resign and you don't have to

(15:18):
pay a premium by signing a guy as a free agent.
But the way I look at it is, look at
the Bills, for example, look at the method that they
went with. They don't really have that defined on one
wide receiver. Now, maybe they feel like Kean Coleman will
develop into that guy. But that's one team. The Green
Bay Packers, you know, Lee's team, that's another team.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
I think.

Speaker 7 (15:38):
You look at it and some people, I say, Jayden
Reid might be that guy. Christian Watson's been an injury
prone and banged up. Maybe they hoped he would be
that guy. Whatever the case is, that's another team that's
gone about it. That way, you can go through a
number of teams and really say some are okay, you know,
moving on and going forward, not really having a designated
or defined number one guy that's eating up a ton

(15:58):
of their salary cap And whether that's right, wrong, or indifferent,
it seems to work at times.

Speaker 6 (16:04):
It seems to work as being effective, being.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
Able to allocate that cap space elsewhere if you have
a quarterback, to Lvar's point, that can raise the level
of everyone else out around him. I mean, we're kind
of going to see what that world looks like with
Patrick Mahomes. Like, yes, yes, Kelsey, but if we're just
talking about pure wide receiver position, he probably hasn't had
a bona fide number one since Tyreek Hill left. Now
maybe you would have said Rachie Rice has been that

(16:28):
until the injury. But that's a team that's kind of
interesting to see too. How they've got about allocating their
cap space, you know, keeping Kelsey, keeping Mahomes, keeping Chris Jones,
keeping some of these other pieces, and building the offensive line,
which seems to be more important to them than anything else.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
And I think if you look at how when they've
lost in the Super.

Speaker 7 (16:47):
Bowl, it's like, well, when Mahomes isn't protected, that's a problem.
Like they'll find ways of scheming things up, or they'll
find ways of getting Mahomes to make plays at the
end to win. So we feel like that's probably more
important than paying a wide receipt for thirty plus million
a year. Now, that being said, look at the Vikings
undefeated right now, and they've got a guy who's getting

(17:08):
paid more than anyone and justin Jefferson. So I think
it's more interesting just how teams look at the roster
construction and the value they place on various positions as
compared to you know, maybe in this case, what the
Bills are looking at doing.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
It's a two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you coming up next year from the tiraq dot
Com studios. It is back. It's the return of Quinn's
wins on a Thursday morning here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Here on Fox
Sports radio coming up in a little over fifteen minutes
from now, we're going to tell you about how somebody
in the world of football just late again, just can't
help it be late always last of the party. We'll
explain here again fifteen minutes from now from the Tairaq
dot Com studios. But right now it is time for
the return of something that grows bigger and bigger each week.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
It's nice some quinch wins.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
Yeah, all right, folks for the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Overall we're four and two.

Speaker 7 (18:23):
Last week five hundred one and one, if you recall
Army just let Temple score a couple of tuddies to
hit the over in the fourth quarter. Pretty disappointing. However,
we're going to get back on track. I've got I
think four bets for you today. Yeah, that's where I
got for you. Four bets for you today, and it
starts off on Thursday night football. This is the tight

(18:44):
one between Atlanta tonight and Tampa Bay. That's tonight. They're all, yeah,
that's the thing. It's all Thursday night. A lot of
people are scared sometimes to dip their toe in the water.
And Thursday night football not only just NFL College as well.
I'm not folks, We're not afraid to get up there
and swing and miss out of view.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Right. So here we go Thursday night football. Short week.

Speaker 7 (19:04):
We've got the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Tampa Big Bucks
at the NFC South Divisional matchup. The lines a little
too co close for my comfort, and honestly, I don't
have a great feel on how this game is going
to play out. Tampa has been phenomenal so far this year.
Atlanta seems to be improving as Kirk Cousins gets more comfortable.

Speaker 6 (19:20):
Within the offense.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
However, with Tampa, I look back on that that game
versus Denbra I go, who is that?

Speaker 6 (19:26):
What happened to that little guy?

Speaker 7 (19:28):
Bothers me enough to say, I'm not gonna touch the
spread on this one.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
I am going to take the over of forty four.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
That's where I got it last. But the over total
score of Atlanta and Tampa to night of forty four points.
All right, Let's move on to college football. We've got
Texas State heading to Troy. Troy kind of struggling this year.
Both teams, in fact, are coming off of loss this
past week, and then Texas State is playing its first
true road game, and look, Troy's not an easy place

(19:56):
to play. In fact, Troy has owned Texas State in
this matchup. He actually won twelve games straight against Texas
State even though they are a heavy underdog, getting thirteen
and a half points here. So here's what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna take the points. I'm gonna take Troy. I'm
gonna side with the history here of Troy being able
to keep it within that number.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
It's a dual quarterback system there.

Speaker 7 (20:20):
Goose Crowder is more of the pocket passer as sophomore
QB Tucker Kilcrease will split snaps them.

Speaker 6 (20:27):
He's a bit more of the dual threat QB who will.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
Run more when he's in there at times. And their
running back Damian Taylor. He's got over one hundred yards
two times this season. The biggest thing I think in
this matchup is both defenses our top four in the
Sun Belt and total defense and red zone touchdown efficiency.

Speaker 6 (20:43):
So I also like the under of fifty seven and
a half.

Speaker 7 (20:46):
So take the thirteen and a half points with Troy
and the under of fifty seven and a half. And finally,
Sam Houston State headed to UTEP and Sam Houston is
a heavy favorite in this one. I look the Bearcats
for Sam Houston State have won three straight while UTEP
is winless on the year, so hence the reason they're

(21:07):
a heavy favorite in this case. Look Sam Houston, they
can move the.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Ball well, they really have through the first.

Speaker 7 (21:13):
Through the first five games this season, and their second
in scoring and rushing also in Conference USA. The quarterback
Hunter Watson, he leads them in rushing. He's a dual
threat quarterback. He's going to be able to put the
ball through there a little bit too. He's got five
touties in the season over six hundred yards passing. But
I believe SAMs Houston's defense, which is third in the conference,
we're able to stop Javon Jackson to start running back

(21:35):
for UTEP. So I like laying the ten points here
with Sam Houston at UTEP tonight. So there's your four
bets for tonight over a forty four for Thursday Night
football on Amazon Prime. I've got Troy and take the
thirteen and a half points and the under of the
total for the game at fifty seven and a half,
and then finally lay the ten points with Sam Houston

(21:56):
State headed.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
To uteb I'm talking about. Yeah, well, that's how it's.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Dope because I don't know pretty much any of those
teams and.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Could get a good guy, but we went in money
for but with somebody let's go, hey, brouh you you'd
be so thorough dog like that.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
That's dope. I wouldn't know any of them. Man, how
have you been found something to search.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
Out those bets?

Speaker 3 (22:20):
You know?

Speaker 4 (22:22):
By the way, I'm sure I do have some good
news for you on the over in the Bucks Falcons game,
talk to me forty three and a half, so you
get a half point there, Brady. It dropped down on DraftKings.

Speaker 7 (22:32):
Yeah, well again, shop around. We love DraftKings, but shop
around where you can find the best lines.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Also, I was thinking about this, and by the way,
for those of you asking, and there were a lot
of you, yes, Knox locks is three and oh this
past week, Oh wow, it's just what happens.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
You know.

Speaker 7 (22:46):
The problem is like you can say that, but we
never have your bets, so no one can actually hold
you accountable.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
Would actually keep.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Track of this have to agree with No, We'll go.

Speaker 7 (22:58):
There because hey also be truthful and tell you how
awful you are at sports betting.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Very true.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Uh, but dude, you had a good week.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Lass. We had here, we go there.

Speaker 8 (23:09):
I was there this time. It was probably because I
was there, get a little bit.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
So by the way, LeVar, if you'll notice that there's
probably a bag of Eminem's, it's not there where you're at.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Hey, come on, man, what the hell?

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Lee got a little a little craving there, jumped.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Huh damn Wow.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Something I was thinking.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
About was making himself all the way at home up
in here. I was like, you do know, they will
yoke your ass.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Up and kick you up out of here. Like He's like, yeah,
but that was the waiting area, man. I was like,
the building is locked and secure. Like generally waiting areas
are are inhabited once you open the building up to visitors.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
It was not open to visitors. But but Lee was
out there.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
Nonetheless, like Lee tries to for wherever.

Speaker 8 (24:01):
I didn't want to guess you out, so on your show.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
The best was the best was Levar's like he gets
ready to leave and he's keeping his voice down and
he's like, hey, anything happens.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
You don't know my name, so you don't know.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Me, and I'm like, hell, e's doing now to get
rid of I.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Don't give a damn who you know. You don't know
me if they come to get you. That's that's all
I know.

Speaker 9 (24:24):
And I couldn't figure out how to close the door
all the way until we left the room. Jonas is
yelling at the big start of his show. You could
hear it all the way down the hall.

Speaker 8 (24:34):
It's like, hey, can you close that doors? As far
as I could close.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
It, That's what they said, or that's what Jonah said.

Speaker 8 (24:41):
Well, Jonas was asking for me to close the.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Door, but my gosh, I try to get me in trouble.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
No, listen, it was fine, you know. And the fact
that Knox locks went three and oh, I think.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
I just went over there and started drinking LeVar Allen
so that I wouldn't have to think, Like I didn't
want to think about how paranoid I was that I
left Jonas and Lee where I did super fast.

Speaker 7 (25:01):
Yeah, okay, Can I ask this just do you feel
the need to bring that up because you're so bad
that you can't even give us an overall record in
the season, and how things have gone, like.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
Why do you focus on the negative stuff? Why can't
you think it feels like.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
You always have to kind of like piggyback, you know,
when like you do well, but then you don't. I
got a guy at CBS Sports, Tim Doyle. He used
to do that, Like they used to show all the
professional guys and their records for the entire season, and
they'd be like Tim Doyle was like five and two
in his last seven picks. It's because the last thirty
picks have been actually pretty bad.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
That's correct.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yeah, that's your strategy.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Yeah, basically, you just try and find any any statistic
you can manipulate to make you sound like you know
what the hell you're talking about, or make it sound
a little bit better so that sounds about it. That's
that's what we try and do here. I was also
thinking about this because I feel like, you know, it's
a little bit unfair, like Brady's got quinns wins, I've
got Knox locks bar. What do you think about sticks picks? No,

(25:54):
I'm good, Come on, man, I'm good on that. Just
make a couple of bud you guys.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Well, I do make bold proclamations, I do, you know,
and I'm pretty good at it too. I just I
let the whole official capacity of the breakdowns go to you, guys, man,
because you guys are really good.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
At doing that, you know. That's all.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
I'm cool with that. I don't have to have something
because y'all have something. You know, I'm good.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
I just want you to have the thing.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
That's how Jonas shows though. So I'm all right, team guy.
You know I am a team You're not a team guy.
You're you're a ten dollars type of guy.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (26:35):
I'm not. Let me tell you something. I talk about
you guys, whenever I can work you into the Jonas Knock.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Show exactly, whenever you can work like Doug whenever, I'll
just say it. It's like, Doug have us on the show.
You have us on the show. Doug.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Doug likes his own saying box I did a show
with him before. Doug is cool, good people, but man,
he definitely no doubt. Like you can have us on
the show, man, We'll say yes.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Can I tell you, guys a great Doug gott Leave story.
This is this is just tremendous. So I was filling
in for Doug. I think it was like New Year's Day.
It was a few years ago, and so just filling in,
you know, doing the show. And during the show, I
get a text from a number I didn't have in
my phone and it just said, hey, you sound great,

(27:32):
keep up the great work, et cetera, et cetera. It's Doug.
I was like, oh, that's nice of him, like that
he was taking the time to listen and all that stuff.
So I wrote back and say, hey man, thanks, you
know so much. So a couple of months later, whenever
it was, I sent him a text because I heard
something he had done on his show that hey man,
that was really good what you did on the show.

(27:53):
I thought you nailed it. And he writes back, who
is this?

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (27:59):
All right, well there we go, like that's you know,
you got everything you need right there. So he's a
he's a good dude. But apparently I didn't make the the.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Well that wouldn't happen now in twenty twenty four, hitting
in twenty five, you just.

Speaker 6 (28:13):
Saying that forgettable? Is that what you say?

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Basically?

Speaker 6 (28:17):
I mean he has been in the past.

Speaker 7 (28:19):
It's like I would say this from being around Jonas
in public settings.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
He is kind of like the.

Speaker 7 (28:25):
Type of guy that stands close to the wall doesn't
overly get into the conversation unless you help engagement in
the conversation.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
I do, and then Jonas is very engaging.

Speaker 7 (28:34):
No, No, I'm just saying, like you, you are very engaging
with people, but you're not wanting to make the first move,
so you kind of like need the introduction type deal.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Yeah. Never, Jonas is a weird that's fine. Never, he's
a vampact.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
I like to I pick my spots. I think other
people's stories are way more interesting than mine, so I'd
rather listen than talk. And here's the problem is, you
need to do more because it's like I've known.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
You long enough now to hear all the stories. Like
we need to get you doing more though, so you
could build on some of those stories. That's why, like
the Ireland trip was great, the State college trip was great.

Speaker 6 (29:08):
We just we need more of you doing stuff to
get more stories out of you.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Are do you considering me taking my son out to
get the trash truck to honk every Thursday doesn't count?
Like that doesn't count as like a big event, Like
that's like a big social event for me at this point, Like,
you know, if I can get out there and you know,
let the guy honk and kind of do what he's
got to do to entertain my son. That's what I got.
But other than that, we go to State College. I
just like to chill, like I don't need to be

(29:33):
the center of attention. I don't want it. I just
want to sit back, relax, have a couple of throat burners,
and just enjoy good times with my good buddies, Lebar
and Lee.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
That's all I want to do it.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
And I would.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
I mean, well now I'm saying in State College. That's
the most recent trip I was on. I mean, you know,
with Brady, we go to we go to Ireland, and
then we have to listen to Lee tell us I
go back.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Man.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
By the way, Lee, Lee tried to claim and Brady,
you were there, so you know that he's full of crap.
He tried to claim. And when I brought up to him,
he's like, oh, yeah, I think we go this direction.
You know, if you give me a little bit of
time into town, I know where we're going. I said, Lee.
When we were in Ireland, you had just gotten there
and you were smelling the air because you were trying
to let the air, tell you which bar we needed.

Speaker 8 (30:17):
To let us great bars?

Speaker 9 (30:19):
No you didn't this I did just because you guys
didn't like them, that they weren't great.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
So two thirds of the group didn't like the bar.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
That's not a good idea, that's not a good place
to go. Like, he literally was smelling the air.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Going but he was being like Jonas Knox. It was
like the lead to lap Show. He was in his
space and time looking for those bars, not yours or cues.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
It was it was all about what he wanted.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
But he was literally smelling the air.

Speaker 10 (30:46):
And I don't remember Lee like leading us into a bar.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
The first night we went downstairs went to dinner and
he was like walking around going Now, I'm like, Lee,
where are you taking us? He goes up just.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Like a blood. He's like money.

Speaker 8 (31:01):
Guys were like scared. It was like, but check this out,
open this up.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
It's a bar.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
I don't recall any of this.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
Yeah, first night when we went to dinner that night,
tang yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
A liquor blood.

Speaker 8 (31:13):
Yeah, I'm trying to think.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Anywhere now is that kid you get?

Speaker 1 (31:19):
You get you give a blood down that smell, they'll
find you from mouths.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
One thing I know about Lee though, he's just not
like the nice bars.

Speaker 10 (31:26):
He wants, like a dive bar, that's what he wants,
absolutely well look at and if it's if it's below
surface level, even better, if you got to take some
stairs down to get to it, that's that's where you'll
find me.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
Like, there's nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 7 (31:38):
To each their own, I'm just saying I did notice
that about him, Like there'd be like a nice spot
where great scenery, you.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
Know, nice things to look from. He would be like, Oh,
it's way too nice for me.

Speaker 7 (31:49):
I'm like, well, yeah, Lee, you're you're wearing your big
Lebowski like outfit, like wherever you go, so it's already
going certain place.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
You guys got a basement down there. Yeah, I find the.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Deals man at least starts thinking about his banker count Like, yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
A very nice place, but you were the lapse type
of place.

Speaker 8 (32:05):
I wanted to treat you guys.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
But I'm like, you know, you.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Know, the one thing be happy as hell when he
gets free alcohol, bro, Like, I know, I've never really
been around lead to drink with him, Like maybe a
couple of times we went to like cheesecake fat or whatever.
But when he was at the tailgate, that dude was
smiling air to ear because he had double fisting opportunities

(32:32):
that whole time.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Yeah, bruh, I told, I told the bar take care
of my boys. Man. Lee's face lit up like and
he got lit up. It was good.

Speaker 7 (32:44):
He would love to buy us like a thimble of
rubbing out man.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
You try it, tang, it is gross.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
I don't know about you, guys.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
I'm sick and tired of the PAC twelve or whatever
the hell it is now, with whatever teams are involved,
I'm sick of it. The latest is, according to sources
as you spoke with CBS Sports on Wednesday, that the
PAC twelve is pausing its pursuit of new members as
it enters a media rights evaluation for the eight current

(34:11):
schools it has committed to the conference. Interesting, so listen,
just want everybody to know, while we had.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
No money for y'all, don't come this way well.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
Everybody else, you know, we will figure it out eventually. Always.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
According to reports, they are estimated to be worth about
twelve to fifteen million per year for each school. That
is roughly what they believe This combination of teams, which
was a Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State,
Utah State. There's a trend deer Folks, Washington State, Oregon State, Gonzaga,

(34:47):
and the basketball mix. But basically any school with the
last name or a name state in it, they're worth
about twelve to fifty million perer. That's about what those
schools would generate from their TV media rites deal. Now
there's been speculation that others like Tulane, Memphis, UTSA, South
Florida would move from the AAC.

Speaker 6 (35:06):
However, they've held strong and part.

Speaker 7 (35:08):
Of the reason is it's a twenty million dollar buyout
and so you would not be able to recoup that
with the TV media rightes deal they would get from
this PAC twelve.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
As of right now now, I don't know if those.

Speaker 7 (35:19):
Those rights will go up if twelve to fifteen million,
you know, per school year.

Speaker 6 (35:24):
Is about what they're worth. But that's where the Pack
twelve is at.

Speaker 7 (35:29):
And I kind of begs the question, like, how real
different is this with the conference that the Pack twelve
is now constructed compared to kind of obviously before they
cut down to Oregon State, Washington State, but with the
absence of USC and UCLA. It's almost like if the
Pac twelve just held it together, you know, keep Borg

(35:49):
and keep Washington and try to keep Arizona Arizona State
from going to the Big twelve, they probably would have
been better off there. Yeah, it feels like this was
like a massive fumbling of not being able to retain
some of those schools that could have maybe increased the value.
And now you find yourself in this twelve to fifteen
million dollars a year mark that I don't think they're
going to be able to get much more above that.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
And all of this could have been avoided correct years ago,
had they been proactive and had the foresight to go, yes,
we should probably get a TV deal put together here
quick correct.

Speaker 7 (36:22):
Yeah, And they sat on their hands and they waited,
and unfortunately it didn't play out well.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
For them in the marketplace.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Tang, how about the balls on them to go Listen.
We know you loved Oregon all right, and you loved Washington,
and you loved UCLA and USC, but what do you
think about Utah State?

Speaker 2 (36:38):
How about the balls? Are you not to wrap up
the segment knowing that we're at the end of it.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
I'm just saying she sh
