Speaker 1 (02:19):
But only if you're a bad one though. Yeah, yeah,
there you go. All right?

Speaker 5 (02:22):
So is this bad news? Because Adam Schefter reported this
last night. I guess he was not in a dust
up at the combine on like some other reporters. But
Adam Schefter reported that Abdull Carter has a stress reaction
in his right foot. Test revealed that on Wednesday, and
that the Penn State standout will need to decide soon

(02:42):
whether to have surgery, according to his agent, Drew.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Rojas, Drew Roja, I was thinking about I got you cross?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Is that all the laws?

Speaker 6 (03:00):
No, they're not named Drew, they're named Diego. Yeah you
know they're named Diego. Yeah, don't why, That's how the
laws pronounce it.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I know, I know what happened to you, Doug, I
got well.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
According to Drew Rohaus, rosenhas the our mixed opinions on
whether he needs surgery. We will figure that out in
the near future, so I.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Know.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
He says that Carter has two options here. He could
have preemptive surgery, have a screw inserted in his right foot,
and return to working out and running in about eight weeks.
Or he could bypass the surgery, conduct his pro day
at Penn State on March twenty eighth, and prove to
NFL teams that he doesn't need a procedure.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
So, mister Errington, what do we know? I know what
you know. I know what you know. I mean ahead,
I known that I would have said something. You know what?
Was interesting though, when I was watching him walk around,
I did notice a little limp, A little limp, a

(04:10):
little hitch giddy, a little hitch.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
How now, how do you differentiate kind of having that riz,
kind of having that like swagger?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
How do you differentiate? You know what I'm saying? Like,
how do you differentiate the swag from having actually well.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
He was still swagged out. He was still walking with
a little swag, but it was almost like he was
walking like me. You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
I've seen some like old school cats. They have so
much swag when they walk it looks like they've got
like a back problem or something on their leg. But
that's just that's just well, yours is more of like
a shuffle.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I really do have a back problem.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yeah, you, and you've got legitimate issues. But like I'll
ask them about you, is everything all right? They're like, yeah, man,
how I walk? I was like, oh, okay, you keep
walking on. You're right though, you're some guys do be
having that. Listen. I'm not going too big of a
deal about it. I mean, obviously he if you're being
projected as the number one overall.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Pick and some people's on some people's boards, then you're
gonna garner a lot of attention. And if something like
this becomes common knowledge, I'm curious did he even know,
you know, I don't know that he knew that they
might have discovered that doing during the uh during the

(05:28):
medical you know, the medical procedures that that take place
where they go over your body, and because I almost
feel like it would have been better and this is
a misstep. If I'm the agent, I think it would
have been better if you allow people to know that,
you know, I'm letting my foot heel, He'll up and

(05:51):
I'll be ready to go for the pro day and
and and just put it out there like I thought
it was a shoulder the reason why he wasn't, you know, participating,
But it makes more sense if you're saying that you're
you have an injury on your foot that just needs
time to heal.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Maybe this was the not eddame injury that we thought
they were referring to the shoulder, which.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
You maybe maybe maybe.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
There's also the reality that they'll discover injuries at the combine.
Like again, we always try to go back and explain
to people the origin or the reason for the combine
is for the medicals first and foremost. That's always what
the rationale was for why they needed some event like this.

(06:39):
And obviously it's grown as you heard Pete kind of
talk about all the different people that are around it,
not just like the agents. It's like the insurance agents.
Guy's trying to sell you insurance. There's chiropractic conventions. There's
like trainer conventions, there's strength training conventions. There's different products
from like angle to need to shoulder braces and so forth.

(07:02):
I mean, it is all going on at this time
of the year at the Combine. Like I really had
no clue, and so I'd gone there for a series
of years and you just walk around different hotels and
different conference rooms and you see, like what's going on.
You're like, holy cow, like it is it. Look, the
super Bowl is the super Bowl. It's kind of in

(07:23):
a separate event as far as all the other parties
that work with NFL players and around NFL teams. I
would actually argue that Combine has more people there for
that specific stuff than at the super Bowl because the
super Bowl's more of again it's it's different partners and
you know, corporate partners, et cetera. It's just a little different.

(07:45):
But the Combine's right up there. I mean, it is
a huge event for the NFL. But what a lot
of people don't understand is there's times where players discover injuries,
Like they'll go in there and they'll do different tests
and they'll do you know, MRIs and all kinds of stuff,
and you'll walk out of there with like an executive
physical like you've never had before in your life, and
they'll be like, yeah, you've got an issue on your

(08:06):
left shoulder here, You've got actually an issue in this
knee here, and you know, you'll sit there and be like,
I had no idea. They're like, yeah, you'll probably need
to get get that cleaned up at some point. I mean,
it is one of the craziest things when you have
thirty two different medical staffs take a look at your Bodyken,
I mean, never ever the rest of your life will

(08:27):
you have that thorough of a process and examination of
your body to determine what's wrong with it.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Now, how would this be missed by Penn State or
not that it I mean, I don't know, not to
air them out or anything, but how would this be
How would they not He's a tough kid.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
He might have played through it not really known. I mean,
you're not trying to go get looked at all the
time or miss time, you know. So it's not that
uncommon that you have an injury that sometimes goes unnoticed.
I mean, there's oftentimes it's more of like the hard
issues things like that that we that we find players discovered,
but this the sort of the sort of thing happens too.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Wasn't that the same thing with Trey Smith, who's going
to be the free agent in Kansas City? That's why
he dropped in the draft. Was there was some stuff
going on. That's why he dropped in the draft too.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
What do you mean?

Speaker 5 (09:12):
Yeah, he was projected to be a much higher draft
pick and then he went in like the was the
fourth round later, there's something like that.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
But you said that as if he's dropping because of this, No,
he did drop. Okay, he's going to be a free agent.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
I think the different with he had blood clots and
his lungs or something like that, or a history of
blood clots, that was more of a concern, so a
little different.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
But yeah, if they did discover it at the combine,
I mean you're talking about that's not that type of
injury you're dealing with. That's just not a probably the
most easy, easily detected injury. You know, I just don't
see how and you could feel something like I've I've

(09:58):
had listen, when you're when you're a football player, you
some guys have crazy, crazy high paying thresholds and what
what you would think is excruciating in your situation is
really just nagging or uncomfortable. So I don't I don't

(10:20):
know if he knew of it. I don't know if
they discovered it. I don't know. I don't know the
details on it. I just know that an injury like
an irritated foot, like, because that's what it sounds like.
Like his foot's irritated, like you put pressure on it.
It's sore, you know. I don't know to what degree

(10:42):
or or what capacity that is. But I mean, if
you're saying that he gets a surgery now and he's
eight weeks removed from what he needs to do, or
you just allow it to heal on its own, You
give it time and then you'll you'll be back at
regular speed. I don't see this being that big of

(11:03):
a deal, right, It's.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Not gonna affect his draft status one way or another.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah, I don't think so, And honestly, I.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Would tell him this, if you need the surgery, go
get it. Like we've talked about before, the reasoning why
guys wouldn't potentially participate at the combine, Some could be
medical related like this. Others are just like yeah, there's
no point. This isn't really conducive for me to succeed.
This is also a team that played into January, and

(11:32):
so we're talking about a month later, where even if
he did come out unblemished, it might be hard for
him to prepare himself to test the way he'd like
to test and prove himself. Like, the hard part for
a lot of these guys is if you go out
and run a forty at the combine and it doesn't
go well, you know what happens. That's what gets posted,
Like you're gonna go run it again on your protege,

(11:54):
try to improve, but the story's already out, like, hey,
he's slow. He didn't run a four four. We thought
he's gonna run a four four. And so that's the
hard part about all this. As the college football season
has extended for a lot of these guys, they don't
have a lot of time to prepare themselves for what
has become like kind of a track and field event.
Now that's not necessarily specifically the case here, but what

(12:15):
I'd say to him is, this is going to be
the longest year of your life, So go get surgery now, Like,
get yourself prepared to play in September and not worry
about all this stuff because your film is ultimately what
you're gonna get drafted on, and so maybe some of
the interviews, etc. So if you do need surgery, go

(12:35):
get it. Get it over with so you can get
back healthy, rehab, prepare yourself for your rookie NFL season,
because it's going to feel like a long time. Like
you don't want this to be nagging you as you
go into your rookie season and then you have to
miss time later on because you should have gotten surgery
and you didn't. So I would say get the surgery, man, Like,
go get this cleaned up, Go get a fixed, Go

(12:57):
find a way of getting into your rookie season feeling
as good as possible. If this is something that's nagging
you now, it's only gonna nag you more later because
it doesn't stop. Once you get drafted. You're going into
OTA's mini camps all that stuff. You get a little
time off in the summertime, but really you're you're training
your body more than ever before to prepare for training camp.

(13:19):
And once you get in the training camp, it's the preseason.
It's it's the start of the season, and it is
a gatlet for you as a player.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Yeah, I just wonder how serious in nature it is,
because sometimes, I mean, it could be as simple a
fix of getting you know, orthotics. You know they put
that little steel plate underneath and take take the you know,
the scans of your foot and stuff like that, and
they take the pressure off of certain spot. I know,
I'm tremendously flat footed, tremendous like I am as flat

(13:51):
footed as flat footed gets. Yeah, I could pop it.
You can. Jonas is flat fight, he can pop it too.
If you ain't got no arches in your feet, let
me see your pop it pop pop pop pop pop. Anyway,
they ended up getting me orthotics and it I it
clearly improved my level of life, my quality of life.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Can I ask this though, because I also got orthotics
for a foot injury and I thought it actually made
my back horse Did you notice that?

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Because it forced you to take on a different posture,
and it's probably the posture that you should have had, Like,
it's probably the posture that you probably should have. I know,
for me, I'm a sloucher. I'm a slouch and and
when I had when I haven't had my orthotics. I
lost them when I moved out here. But and that's

(14:47):
the worst. It's the worst thing that ever happened to me,
by the way, But get some new ones. It bro
like I would have to go through the whole process.
It's like a whole process. Like you step on this,
like this piece of glass, well the glass, and then
the class run. Yeah, they run the scan on it,
and then then you do the foam and then they

(15:08):
get that, and then they do the molds and that's
just this whole big thing. No, it doesn't take you
long since a tedious process. Yeah, that's all. But the
point on the point I'm making though, is it definitely
there's the possibility that this is not as as dire

(15:29):
where you would need surgery, a surgical procedure. But I
don't know, you know, I don't, I don't know, and
I don't want to speak out a term on it.
I agree if if it is something he does or
should you know, get that that that's screwing his foot,
then he should do it as soon. But in my mind,

(15:49):
wouldn't you have done that already, like you had enough
time to actually do if you weren't going to do
the comb and then potentially if it if it keeps
you from doing the Pro Day, which I could, I
can almost guarantee you it's a lock. He's doing the

(16:11):
Pro Day. He's gonna do the Pro Day knowing I do.
Not only is he going to do the Pro Day,
but he's going to try to outperform what Micah did
at his Pro Day. He's going to try to outperform.
What's the recovery time on that surgery. I said eight weeks.
They said like he could be back out in eight weeks.
So he's gonna do the com He's gonna do the

(16:31):
Pro Day while he's injured. Yeah, but again, I mean
he played an entire season. Damn. I mean, I'm thinking.
I know, I know what Q is saying makes sense,
But if it's me, I'm doing my Pro Day before
I do anything, I'm doing my Pro Day. I'm gonna

(16:53):
handle my Pro Day. I'm gonna handle business on my
Pro Day. I'm gonna get through my Pro Day and
then I'm gonna business. I'm gonna, I'm must I'm I'm
one hundred percent sure he's going to stand on business,
ten toes down and pop with pop. It was a
hurt Tell yeah, I just hope he doesn't pop it,

(17:14):
but yeah, that wouldn't be good. But I don't listen,
I've seen him. I've seen him working like he's He's
not just sitting around like letting his foot heel. He's
working out. So if this was that serious of an
injury in nature, which makes me, it leads me to

(17:36):
believe that he didn't know that it was there. Like
I'm a lean on the side of I don't think
he even knew, let alone saying why didn't Why didn't
Penn State staff pick up on this, Like, I don't think.
I don't think he knew. I'm I'm I'm just assuming,
but I don't think he knew he had that going
on in his foot. And so now that they uncover that,

(18:00):
I mean, it's something that he's probably going to have
to address if he was unaware of it, but I
would I would assume it's business as usual for him
until he gets through the pro day.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
Well, I mean, I didn't know that Brady was Mexican,
that you were white or I was black.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Kind of crazy. I learned that on social media and
leads ten ten deep at the ball.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
I was trying to figure out are you claiming to
be Mexican? Is that what that was? I thought they're
talking about me.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
They do call him not.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
But he.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Is horribly inappropriate at this point. Like I said, every
time she plays it too, it's like it's like, it's
horribly insensitive, Lorena, But go ahead.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
I just say his you know, pigments a lot lighter
than mine. I thought he was saying.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I was wrote it and they do away. Didn't they
do away with speedy? Yeah? They did do.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
A guy wrote in on Twitter. They canceled him for
people wondering what we're talking about. A guy wrote in
on Twitter and said, a Mexican, a black dude and
a white dude walking.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
To a bar. It's the start of a joke, right,
and started joke. Brady wrote, I'm Mexican, LeVar no Mark, Yeah,
And I wrote on white question.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
It's like it's like you said, Drew Rojas, ear there.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Right, Maybe there you go.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Maybe that's the telltale sign that you you are totally
I'll take that. Pronounce his name one more time.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
He drew Rojas, who knew? Who knew?

Speaker 4 (19:33):
It's all right, you'll get an f on that, but
it's probably not as bad as an F minus.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Oh well played.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knoxy
You Alive from the Tyraq dot Com studios coming up
next here. Yeah, somebody failed, they failed yet again. We'll
tell you who they are in the NFL. That's right
here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas weekdays at six a m. Eastern three am Pacific

Speaker 5 (20:09):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio. Well,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
With the air, What do you mean.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Get a Jonas cool song? You like this one? Yikes? Yep?

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Ice mm hmm, ra raise into it?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Yeah, were you in this video?

Speaker 4 (20:33):
Maybe?

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Oh yeah, what do you mean? And Marana be in
these videos? Man? Really? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (20:43):
How does that work?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Just did they see her and they want her to
be in the video. Then they start working out with
her at the gym and you know, going to the
arcades and stuff like that. Yeah, that's how it works.
Cue pretty cool?

Speaker 4 (21:02):
What arcade?

Speaker 1 (21:04):
I don't know. I've never been to an arcade in California.
What arcade?

Speaker 7 (21:09):
There's a whole bunch of adult arcades down here.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Oh snap, adult what consists of an adult?

Speaker 4 (21:16):
There's bars inside of them.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, they're called bowling alleys.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
No, no, no, like they're literal arcades like an adult
only too. Not like a bowling alley that has an
arcade and a bar.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Like it is a it's a barcade, Dave. That's what sounds.

Speaker 7 (21:31):
No more hole in the wallish. Yeah, you guys should
try it out sometimes. The one I went to didn't
even have food. There was no food type stuff. It
was just you know, easy drinks, karaoke machine, pack.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Man like axe throwing type of stuff.

Speaker 7 (21:44):
No, I was do some links so you can go
and check it out.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Interesting you said it a bar. I'm good. No, I'm good.
I got stuff. Said it to Brady.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
We're good over here. Good more of a shuffleboard guy myself,
But to each their own. So, coming up in a
little over fifteen minutes from now here from the tireraq
dot Com studios, we are going to say goodbye to
the end of an era in the NFL. That'll be
yours here on Fox Sports Radio, and now we say

(22:16):
hello to something that shouldn't be surprising to anybody at all.
The NFLPA report cards are out where players basically rat
out their organization from top to bottom, whether it's the
locker room to the cafeteria, to the team flights, et cetera,
et cetera, et cetera. And believe it or not, there

(22:37):
was an owner in the NFL who got an F minus.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
He got an F Congratulations to Woody Johnson. Is there
anything worse than an F congratulations?

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Yes, it actually is. The No, there's an F minus,
which we're talking about the ownership grades. But if you
actually comb through the entire report card, there is an
F minus. In particular for a few teams. The Cincinnati
Bengals apparently received an F minus for the treatment of families, which,

(23:14):
if that's not an indictment, I don't know what it is.
Like your entire team gave you so many f's and
then apparently even worse than that somehow, Like I didn't
think that you could get below an F. Like if
you get an F you failed, Like there's an F plus.
There shouldn't be an F minus. It's an F you failed.
I have no idea, because I think they started doing

(23:36):
this towards the end of my time in the NFL.
I don't know how you can get an F minus.
I just I don't know what you need to put
as a part of the grading system to get that.
But the Arizona Cardinals also received an F minus for
their locker room. That was another one. The Cleveland Browns

(23:57):
also received an F minus for their locker room. I'm
trying to go through the rest.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Of the I want to apologize to Woody Johnson. I
said F minus. It was just an f R. I
didn't diminish his contributions to the team.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
I mean, you're not far off from the minus, so
it doesn't matter.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
I mean, but I'm glad you know they got rid
Aaron Rodgers because the problem is solved and Robert sold.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Everything's fine there still got an F I didn't.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
By the way, I didn't know on this report that
teams make families pay a daycare fee some teams.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
I didn't know about that.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
If they even have daycare. Dude, Yeah, some of the
don't have daycare, right.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
I mean, the Patriots their their team planes probably because
well team planes go ahead where the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Some players reported that some of their team planes didn't
have Wi Fi and that there was an ash tray
in the arm rest.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Oh wow, I don't think it's some of their I
think they have a team plane that they use every time,
so it's it's smaller, it's outdated, so it's not some
of them. It's like plane has a.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Hash tray breaking out to black and out or something
like that on your way there, thank you.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Would you imagine how old that plane has to be
if you're flying that in twenty twenty five and has
ashtrays in it, I mean it's over what fifty years old? Yeah? Lee?

Speaker 5 (25:16):
Can you live a last plane that was designed that
had an ash tray in the arm rest? Can you
look that up? It's got to be the eighties, it
has to be. Yeah, it's got to be the eighties.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
I mean some of them have the cigarette light on
the to time, but not the end you could smoke on. Oh,
that's discussed enough when it happened too.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
In nineteen eighty eight, airlines based in the United States
banned smoking on domestic flights less than two hours, and
then I think it's extended to February nineteen ninety if
it was longer than you could, but nineteen ninety essentially,
So I guess you're saying that these planes they got
to be at least thirty thirty five years old. Is

(25:58):
that where we're.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Saying I flew, I flew to Europe or yeah, I
flew to Europe when I was fourteen years old. I
flew British airways and they were still smoking.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
Wait a second, So in eighty eight, if it was
a flight under two hours, you couldn't smoke. But if
it was a flight, okay, so how many lung guns
do you think were booking flights?

Speaker 1 (26:22):
It had to be over two hours. I can't go
the long guns, Like, I can't go that long.

Speaker 5 (26:26):
I got to get myself one and I've got a
book a fly whatever's going to take the longest to
get me there.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Well, what's funny is at one point people were vaping
on airplanes too, because they hadn't come up with a
rule to specifically say you can't use a vape on
Really yeah, there were people that were vaping and people
were getting upset because people were taking it as smoke

(26:53):
and they're like, it's not smoke, it's a vape, which
I don't know. I would assume if you can see
it it's smoked, but they're saying it's different.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Let me ask this. Can people just abide by the
rules for two hours hours?

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Like, come on, dude, you're flying, You're flying at thirty
nine thousand feet in a chair that's bolted to a
press rise tube. Can we all chill and just abide
by the rules for a little bit. I mean, it's
a miracle. Like we were joking earlier about Cooper Cup
and the Amish and how they're getting from you know,
Los Angeles to Las Vegas on a horse and buggy.

(27:29):
We literally can fly through the air. Yeah, and and
like people were going to try to abuse rules like oh,
come on man, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
By the way, how about Lorrain and not knowing that
you could smoke on planes?

Speaker 1 (27:39):
He's too young. It's too young, geez, you know what
I do?

Speaker 7 (27:42):
Remember though, what's that when the hometown Buffet used to
have a smoking section, like they had their own little I.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Remember when you could smoke inside of restaurant. Airport things
are so weird. Airports still have smoking sections.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
Yeah, Jonasco's in there is to hang out. You got
to designate it can we go through the rest of
the F minuses because there's some surprising ones and there's
also something I want to point out about these rankings.
All right, So, h Buffalo Bills. Team travel also an
F minus, which is odd because I would think like
team travel encompasses a team playing like that, which again

(28:21):
we talked about the New England Patriots. They get an F.
The Bills must find something way worse or stay in
at crappy hotel chain, one of the two. But what
I want to point out that's interesting is the head
coaching category. The head coaching category, there was not a
coach that received less than a C, which if you

(28:41):
look at the rest of these players for the most part,
kind of went off. I mean, I guess the strength
coaches there's like a C minus that was kind of it,
and a C plus, but head coaching strength coaches like
the two that I'm just kind of surprised by that
there weren't guys who wanted to air out some of
their coaches. And as we pointed out Kevin Stefanski, you know,

(29:05):
he received a bad grade. In fact, the sea being
the lowest next to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and I believe
the your Chicago Bears Jonas Stefanski received a C grade,
which is interesting. Again a year ago. I don't think
you're anyone saying that, right. I'd have to go back
and look at the twenty twenty three scores, but that
was a bit surprising to see that players would look

(29:26):
at him in that way.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
I also saw that Nick Sirianni get a C for
like time management or preparation, something along those lines that
they were not, you know, not thrilled with some of that.
He could have could have done a better job when
it comes to that by the A category. Credit to
the Miami Dolphins. They did get number one again.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
So well, I'm on the nfl PA's website looking at.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
It, actually seeing that as a category.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Because Jonas Jonas sometimes will take an excerpt from like
maybe a comment that was made and then he'll say like, oh,
that category, it's not a category. I mean, there's like
twelve categories.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
But I'll get to the specific. We'll see that one
specific category, Jonas.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Oh, here's the categories. Treatment of facilities, food food slash,
dining area, nutritionists, dietitian, locker room training, room training staff,
weight room strength, coaches, team travel, head coach ownership.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Those the category who scored the highest. Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
The Dolphins, by the way, across the board, they had
a's in every single category. Las Vegas was second. Oh wow,
they had mostly a's, with the exception of treatment of
families because pet Us, Minnesota was right up there and
uh Washington, Washington. Actually, uh really yeah, they they're up

(30:53):
there across the board.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
All right, Iang thing, don't come.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Do you want to see their buddy?

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yeah, I keep talking. You're amongst yourself. You guys got that.
They're not going to find I saw it here. There's
a lot of grades to go over. Let me let
me find it on my here. That's it, right, Yeah,
all right, let's go back to there is I gave

(31:20):
it to him? What category is that? What did that score? Oh?
That was an F.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
So interesting. So Stefan's got to be minus last year.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Even though they took their team to the playoffs with
you know, Joe Flacco a backup the whole thing. It's
a bit surprising.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
I mean, I wouldn't partake if I was a player.
This feels like kind of a it just feels like
a rat move, like just go to somebody and have
a conversation about it.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Why you need to fill out some Well, if you
could sit there and complain about treatment of your family,
I definitely would want to fill that out. If you
don't feel good about that.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
Well, here's the one thing I'll say that this does.
It puts a lot of pressure on ownership, and I
think it puts a lot of pressure on the perception
of how they run their organization. So let's go back
to the Cincinnati Bengals report card. And there's a reason why.
Like when I've brought up the point in the past,
hey man, people think they're they're kind of cheap in

(32:20):
some ways. Well, the treatment of families is an F minus.
I have no idea what exactly that means or why.
The food and dining they're one of only two teams
that doesn't provide three meals per day and they got
an F. You know, you go through the nutritionist, dieticians
a C. You know, some of the other categories they
got a better grade, but ownership C it's one of

(32:41):
the lowest. Not obviously as bad as the jets, but
you know, when you go through this, you start to see, like,
really where some of these organizations fall short, and you
can see why there's a perception about them out there.
So as far as you know, the Bengals being viewed
as cheap, okay, like that's it's kind of fair based
on the report cards. No one's ever questioning Steven Ross

(33:04):
and Miami Dolphins of being cheap. Like you never hear that.
You never hear Arthur blank and the Atlanta Falcons, who
had a great, you know report card for the most part,
the Baltimore Ravens. Like you hear certain organizations, you're like, yeah,
it's a great organization to work for, it be a
part of. And that's the difference. And so when it
comes around time to pay t Higgins and Trey Hendrickson

(33:24):
and Jamar Chase, you just it leads you to say that, well,
if they're not going to actually provide food in three
meals a day, do you think they're going to go
to the extent to be able to keep all three
of those guys?

Speaker 5 (33:34):
I mean, I mean, would you really want Skyline Chiley
if you're a family member, like.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
I know that going to eat that all the time?

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Yeah, if they got some rice to go with it
and some fried chicken, did you see that video saying
job out of way or the fried chicken? See it?
I sent it to you. Nobody comment sent that fried chicken. Yeah,
go on your text.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
I'm looking through it and stand about fried chicken.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
That's in there. I know I didn't get a picture
of it.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
You guys didn't. You guys didn't comment to that.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
You're not on that.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
Ladies swinging on the baby?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
That was that was crazy.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
It's actually two people.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Did I send it? I didn't send it. I guess not.
It must have been the up on game chain. It'd
be nice, you guys, Well, I know this.

Speaker 5 (34:27):
I mean, if they want to fix the team facility
there for the families, you know, get them a better mattress.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
The least they could do, you know what I'm saying,
the least they could do. Hugh, that's my thought on it.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Is that your thought on it? Yeah, that's my thought,
you know, Yeah, well my thoughts. Look, sleep's essential, all right,
and no one and absolutely no one is going to
give Mattress Firm and f in fact, they're gonna give
him an a because that's that's who you have to

Fox Sports Radio videos on YouTube. So look, I don't
know if the chain Gang is going away, if this
is the slow phasing out of the chain Gang, but
if so, it's a damn shame. So the league is
going to use technology for virtual line to gain measurements

(36:43):
next year. The officials will still spot the ball with
the chain gang as a backup, but there will be
more cameras with better angles of forward progress. So for
those of you that were complaining about whether or not
Josh Allen picked up a first down in that game
against the Chiefs in the AFC title Game, apparently next
year we're gonna go ahead and fix all that, or

(37:03):
at least try to based on this technology, and so, uh,
the Chain Gang guys would just kind of be sitting there,
just kind of in the background, waiting for their opportunity,
slowly getting phased out by a league that wants to
turn everything into robots.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
It's terrible. Even the players at some point huh h terrible.
See they got flying cars now, it's terrible.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
What cars flying?

Speaker 1 (37:27):
You ain't see that? Yeah, no flying, they're taking orders.
It's weird. It looks real flimsy. Honestly, it does not
look like the type of ride I would want to
get into and say, you know what, I'm going to
be flying now.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
But yeah, you know how many people can't even sit
in that thing?

Speaker 1 (37:48):
I don't know, like for it's like a regular Look,
it's a regular car. It looks like.

Speaker 4 (37:57):
I'm looking at this one. I'm sitting right now. It
so on BB's see news.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Yeah it's black. Yeah, and it's like like.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
It's floating over like a suburban.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
It looks like it's a fake car. Like the tires
look really small and definitely not tire rectires. But it
flies and the drown.

Speaker 4 (38:17):
If it flies.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
We could it looks a little flimsy. I could have
a problem there, but they say they're taking orders on them. Now,
aren't planes and helicopters good enough? It doesn't look like
you're going to get there very quickly in that car though.
It just looks really flimsy. It doesn't look like it's
like going up like a helicopter and then moving. It
looks like it's like floating half off.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
There's a strong wind. I feel like you're screwed in
that thing.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
Yeah. Yeah, but they're taking orders on them so they
can take over on a fly. I think it's like
three hundred thousand or something like that.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
To get it back to the chain gang thing. I
know Jonas has been a huge advocate for the hard
working guys in the chin gangs, right, I mean, Jonas,
how do you feel about them basically kind of knee
capping these guys.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
I think it's sad.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
I think it's they want to embrace technology and they
want all this, and meanwhile you have people that are
just sweating their balls off in the middle of the
humidity during the summer to try and make sure that
they're in shape to go out there and perform their duty.
They've been around for a long time. They're there to
measure and put on a show. There's the sort of

(39:24):
the drama that builds where you think, oh, my god,
is it is it a first down?

Speaker 1 (39:28):
And then all of a.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
Sudden they extend it a little longer and you go, oh,
they're short of the first down. All of that is
that it's those little details that you're going to miss
when it's gone, when they just say, oh, you know
so and so in the booth. You know, he's got
a better camera angle, and so yeah, we're able to
confirm that it is a first down.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
And meanwhile, the champion guys are there.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
They're probably going to cut their pay and have to
It's just sad that people can't just work their ass
off and be left alone.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
But this is the new NFL. This is what everybody wanted.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
Crazy.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
You can't find parents to do it at high cool
games man, they be wanting them to volunteer to hold
the chains. They don't be wanting to do it. I
know I've never done it. Really the change you got
never do it. I saw what you did there
