pros get more done?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Should we get into the debacle that is the Las
Vegas Raiders and the chip Kelly throwing under the bus
conversation we were having. We talked about this a little
bit on Friday, LeVar and I Brady, but you actually
set the story over about chip Kelly in Las Vegas

(01:52):
gets fired as offensive coordinator and then a report comes
out from Tom Pellisero that says, well, you know, he
was calling the wrong play and he was, you know,
had the formation is wrong, and just all of this
detail that comes out after the guy is gone, and
it's like, wait, what we're just gonna like, we're gonna
go in that in depth to throw a guy under

(02:14):
the bus after he's out out of the building. It's
just been a real back and forth apparently, and chip
Kelly trying to get his side. It just the whole
thing's a mess. And I think it's an indicator of
what a mess that place is. Under Pete Carroll.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Yeah, under Pete Carroll. But also you have to think
of ownership too, right. I mean, this is Pete Carroll's
first year. Mark Davis, with the help of some others,
you know, selected Pete Carroll to be a part of this.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
And really build this team back up.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
And I think everyone knew it was gonna be a
slow build, that it wasn't like they could turn things
around right away.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
But Pete's also getting up there in age.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
But I think one of the things you have to
like pay attention to in all of this is who's
on that staff and why they would put so much
blame on the Raiders offense, which, mind you, has been
poorishe that, There's no doubt about it. They've been poor,
But they also don't have much talent. Their best player

(03:14):
is Brock Bowers, who was hurt for a good portion
of the season. They were lying heavily on a rookie
running back in Ashton Genty. They don't really have any
threats or anyone on the outside of wide receiver that
scare you. And Pete Carroll han picked Gino Smith to
come in here knowing all of this to be growing
pains in a division that basically every single team is

(03:35):
five hundred or better, So it was always going to
be a rough year at Uphill Battle. What's interesting about
the play calling conversation and just to take you behind
the scenes, and I'm sure LeVar knows this too, and
because he's probably looking at the defense the same way.
When you have a play caller, he's reading off of
a laminated game plan and I can't tell you how

(03:59):
many hours go into scripting out that game plan. And
the reason why there's always a paper laminated version of
this is because there's a number associated with every single
play you're going to run in a game. And there's
a number associated with every single play like flip one
four all right, every single play is in a right

(04:20):
handed formation, so you know, gun trips right, sixty four
special eight sneak. If you said flip one twenty four,
if that was that play, you'd flip into a gun
trips left, sixty five, all evens go to odds, rights
to left, et cetera. You know, sixty five specially h sneak.
So that's how it's scripted out. There is no way,

(04:42):
no way. For as long as Chip Kelly has been
calling plays, running teams being a part of it, that
he would call a play that wasn't called the correct way.
All these game plans that's right there in front of
them on paper be really, really really hard to do that. Now,

(05:02):
you may make some adjustments on the sidelines. There might
be times when they say, hey, they're giving us this look,
we didn't expect this.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Remember what we did three weeks ago. We're gonna do.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
This, and you end up calling the player putting the
play together like that. That could happen, but usually that's
coming from the play caller, so he's not gonna mess
up the call. So this entire point report for coming
from Tom Pelsero, and I know it comes from an
agent because that's always how it works. Most of those
guys just get their information from an agent. Is I mean,

(05:35):
it's hard to believe it's factual.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
You know.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Are there gonna be times where something wasn't tagged the
right way or something else potentially, or maybe there's some
confusion too, depending.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
On the process of how they go about calling plays.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
But to sit there and throw it on Ship Kelly,
it feels like there's something else at play here. And
if I was to tell you LeVar that Nate Carroll
and Brennan Carroll. Who are Pete Carroll's sons are both
on that offensive staff, O line run game coordinator. Wouldn't
that concern you a little bit once you think like, Okay,

(06:10):
he was maybe trying to preserve his sons and put
the blame on Ship Kelly, when in reality this past
week that offense looked no different. It looked like the
same damn offensive looked like all year, and the same
offense that Pete Carroll brought from Seattle back during his
time there as head coach.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
It didn't look anything like what we.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Saw from Chip Kelly at Ohio State last year or
anything that I've seen with Chip Kelly's offense in the past.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
So they could point the blame all the one at
chip Kelly.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
But the reality is this felt more like they were
trying to protect their family and what this offense looks
like in Las Vegas.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Oh, because they're a family. Ain't done winning yet. Listen,
it's a it's an interesting theory. I'll say that nepotism
is one hundred percent a very real deal, and so
is self preservation. And when you're in the power rankings
at number thirty one out of thirty two, there have

(07:06):
to be some consequences. And here's the thing I would say,
in this scenario, hold the ship, hold the line, and
continue to build and see where you can get to
in year two and year three. But because of the
precedents that has been set by what they've done in

(07:31):
years past, a La Antonio Pierce, you didn't give that
same grace to him last season. And if I'm Pete Carroll,
you probably came in and did your interview and said,
look at this roster, give me this roster along with

(07:53):
my coaching staff that I will assemble. Here's the list
of guys, and we're going to win next year. Oh
that's right, we're gonna get it done. And you know what,
that's probably what one of the selling points was for
Pete Carroll to get this job. So for them to
be as poor as they are at two wins, two wins,

(08:17):
and your offense stinks and your defense stinks, and your
team stinks, which means you're coaching stinks. You can try
to pinpoint one person if you like, you can make
it about Hey, it was the offensive coordinator's fault. Hey,
it was the defensive coordinator's fault. The preservation here, I

(08:40):
don't even think it's for his kids. It's for him.
It's for Pete Carroll himself, an aging coach that came
back out of after losing his job in Seattle where
he had full control. They said he didn't answer to nobody.

(09:00):
The owner left him to do what he wanted to do.
You step into this situation here and you can't do
any better than two wins. And you're looking at a
guy that took a team that was in pretty pretty
bad shape in some regards in New England and he
turns it around in one year. You see a guy

(09:23):
go into Chicago and he's turning around a team in
one year. Like you see a guy go into these
situations and they're able to do this. But Pete Carroll
is over here and he has had horrible results. I
think it's not only self preservation over his kids that

(09:47):
are on the offensive side of the ball, but it
is it more specifically, in my estimation, it's over him
because at this point it's over Johnny. If he loses
his job st off of this, it's over. You can
forget about it. Why do you say that, because it's
old crusty ass. They're gonna retire him to a retirement home.

(10:10):
They ain't taking him nowhere but to that that little
house where you get three four naps a day, you
get three hots and and and you play board games.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Let me ask you this, there you go, let me
ask you this. Who's done a better job, Pete Carroll
or Bill Belichick.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
It's a funny question. I'm gonna say Bill Belichick because
he gets he gets happy action, fun time off the field.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
That's correct.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
What does it get LeVar?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Happy action fun time?

Speaker 5 (10:51):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
That is correct?

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Happy action fun time.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
The Raiders are unwatchable bad, like really really bad. And
this whole concept that's my favorite part. When bad teams
make coaching decision or coaching moves, like what do you
really think is gonna happen? It's rare that a team
makes a coaching move and the team all of a sudden,

(11:21):
you know, goes on a heater. They did a little
bit with Antonio Peers, the Raiders did. They did a
little bit with rich Bassacia. But if you go back
to when urban Meyer was fired by the Jaguars, they
still sucked. When ibra Flus was fired by the Bears,
they still sucked. The Giants move on from Brian day Ball.
They still suck. So this idea that one guy, specifically

(11:44):
a coordinator, is the reason to blame for why you're
bad when the offensive lines had issues. Bowers has been
banged up, as we've talked about, and Gino Smith just
hasn't played well. To me, it's just a bad look.
It's a rat move, it feels like and it feels
like people there are just doing whatever. They cannot be
accountable for their poor profoles.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
And by the way, the Seattle Seahawks, how good are
they this year?

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah? Balling?

Speaker 1 (12:11):
How are they doing? Where are they at? Posts? Pete Carroll?
So don't let's not act as though. Let's not act
as though the Pete Carroll effect, which in the past
has been real, it's a real effect, it's a real impact.
What he brings to the table is very real. But
where we're at today it's not. It's a very real miss.

(12:36):
And they got to live with that. You brought Geno
Smith in as the franchise guy because you trusted Pete
Carroll that move and not move alone, Mike should constitute
the idea of possibly saying, you know what, maybe he's
to the point now where he's not fit to be
a head coach in the National Football League because you

(12:57):
damn sure had ap doing it with two backups. Last
I didn't think he the choice he wanted was in
the draft, and they did not make the move to
try to get the two players that he was trying
to bring in to start the rebuild of this team.
Until you start to rebuild from the bottom up foundational pieces,

(13:17):
this team is going to continue to struggle and it's
going to continue to get the same results. And if
you have a head coach making the decisions like bringing
in this guy thinking that he's going to be the
starter that changes the you know, the fortunes of this franchise,
then if you're judging all things given all things, even

(13:38):
if you're judging evenly, then Pete Carroll should be on
the scrap heap on black or Black Monday as well. Right,
And just being real.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
All I know is Chip Kelly one end up making
one point sixty four million dollars per game that he
was the coordinator for in Las Vegas. He had signed
a three year, eighteen million dollars deal. That's six millionaire teer.
You can obviously, oh yeah, and you can obviously see

(14:08):
why let's coach q D.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
He left Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
God ain't paying That's enough, man, come on, let's go coach.
We leave Jonas here. Jonas wants to coach. Jonas wants
to do radio by himself anyway, come on, let's go coach. Man.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
That's kind of true. Let's listen, let's think about that.
I mean, the Raiders just sign him up, move him on,
we'll pay it out.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Okay, it's great. It's pretty wild when you think about it.
Coordinators sitting six million per.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Year and he ain't there anymore, and you're trying to
say he's not even calling plays off of the script,
like come on, man, he's calling the plays wrong. Who's more,
Who's where does the indictment lie more? If that is true,
that indictment should not fall to the feet of chick Kelly.

(14:56):
It should fall to the feet of the person who
chose to hire Also, hi person that does that?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Why why would that ever get out? The same thing?

Speaker 5 (15:04):
Like what you know?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
And it's probably we mentioned it earlier. It's probably a
fake story. The abdul Carter was, you know, watching porn
in a team meeting room, of that's out there, Why
would that if that was true. Why would that ever
get out? Do people just people can't help themselves and
just have to go run to reporters to give them information.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Why would you know? Why would you talk about our terminology?
You know what, there's two there's two terms that were
used for these types of people when I was playing ball.
Can I guess one is that yeah, go ahead?

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Five oh?

Speaker 1 (15:33):
No, that's a snitch. That's this five oh is the
guy that's in the locker room, that's like Johnny Brasco
and he just listens to what everybody says, and then
he runs back to the coach and says, you know,
Jonas was in the locker room saying that our practices
are too long and we shouldn't be paid for more
than one hour. That's five oh. Like and when once

(15:55):
you're mate, once they make you like, once the locker
room has made you, you know, people be you'll hear
all the chatter. Then they come walking in the locker room,
that's five oh. You don't talk around five oho, man,
because that could I mean for some guys, like some
guys they just untouchable because of their contracts, numbers, game.

(16:17):
You can't get them out. They say what they want
to say, and people know it. First chance they get
they can get you out, but not for now. But
then there's some people that's connected to them conversations that
ain't They ain't built that way financially on the roster,
and they disappear, they get that pink slip. It's the gipper.
It's time to take your playbook up. You're gonna get

(16:39):
that shuttle straight to the airport. You don't even go
back to the place you were staying. They take you
straight to the airport. We're not paying for your stay.
Not one more minute.

Stuff to you and transition because we do have an update.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Oh do you love spicy breaking news because you know,
when you're looking at spicy breaking news, Jonas, you might
want to throw some Louisiana hot sauce on that spicy
breaking move. And you know what, I like it? You
should like it. It's the original Louisiana hot sauce. Three
simple ingredients on your plate turns every Tuesday, every day

(17:34):
into a tailgate. So no matter what day it is,
grab original Louisiana Hot sauce and add a little bit
and it'll make your day into a game day and

All right, Bradon T. Quinn college football sleuth, reporter insider.

(19:31):
What are we waiting on today?

Speaker 5 (19:32):
What do we getting? I'm gonna go put it this way.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
I think college football needs more respect because right now
it is way more drama filled, packed with all sorts
of just crazy stuff going on right now, Like where
else could you find the Church of Latter Day Saints
teaming up with the CEO of Crumble to try to

(19:55):
keep their head coach at Yu Kalate Sataki. Yes, Penn
State is zeroed in on Kilani Sataki as their next
head coach. However, late yesterday there's a strong push maybe
poll however you want to describe it, by the parties

(20:15):
that I just mentioned, trying to keep Kialani Sataki at
BYU and so the church they're trying to find more money.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
The CEO of Crumbles now getting involved.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
I guess he hasn't been a big donor in the past.
And if you know what is it call she is
how you pronounce it Calshi. It's like a live betting market.
It's pretty pretty fantastic as of this moment right now,
pretty fantastic. No, it's incredible. You can bet on anything.
It's like future odds on everything. Kalani Sataki has a

(20:50):
sixteen percent chance according to this live betting market. Brian
Hartline now is at eighteen percent. But it's Jeff Brahm,
the current head coach at Louisville, who actually is the
odds on favorite to be the next head coach that
we are Penn State and I gotta tell you who's

(21:11):
the odds Jeff Brown, Okay, And I gotta tell you
I would love it if that was the highre for
Penn State. I think this is one of the more
underrated coaches in college football. I think he's maximized a
lot of what he's had wherever he's been going, from
his time at you know, Purdue and now obviously at

(21:34):
at Louisville. I think if he goes to Penn State,
he can recruit, he can coach, and he'll find quarterbacks.
Like I just I would love that for him. Uh
and and for Penn State. I think it'd be a
really really good job there. And then there's a domino
effect there. You know, you'd be looking at the potential
now of you know what happens with Brian Harline.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
Does he look at Louisville?

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Does he look at potentially Kentucky, which he's to be
uh interviewing for so.

Speaker 5 (22:02):
A lot of things up there right now.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
But again, nowhere else in the world can you find
the Church of Latter Day Saints teaming.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
Up with Crumble Cookies to try to find a way
of keeping their head coat.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
I mean, like, who do you got in that one
Church of Latter Day Saints and Crumble Cookies or you know,
Penn State and Primanny.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
The Pagola family, I don't know, like it's it's it's
pretty wild.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Is not the same as Pagoula. It's two different families,
but yeah, but go ahead. You know one is in Buffalo,
and I mean it's your alma mater.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
Bro you tell me, because I find all this stuff fascinating.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Is it is fascinating, It's fascinating listening.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
LaVar, What are you hearing?

Speaker 1 (22:42):
I'm not hearing anything.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Why can't you can we just give us some intel,
like something, Can you throw us a bone? Like throw something.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
I'm just I'm just curious. So the the percentages that
are being thrown out there, none of them included Terry Smith.
There none of I didn't hear you say Kaylin de
boor either.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
Like I didn't say killing de boor I didn't say
Brian Dable.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
I know there's a lot of former players pushing for
Brian Dable behind the scenes. Supposedly he interviewed very well,
which he does interview.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
They work up Bobby. You didn't bring up Bobby Ingram,
Like there's there's a couple of guys that are interviewing
that are.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Well, I'm sure there's a lot of it.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Sounds like there's been a wide net that's been casting,
so I don't doubt that, but I'm not sure how
many have a legitimate shot.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
So okay, it's interesting. I mean, I think I'm much
like why nobody else with vested interest. We're just waiting
to see what happens.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
That's all no offense. But why would Kaelen de Bor
leave Alabama for?

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Why would you say no, no offense? If he were
to leave, it would be the same reason. Why why
the you know, Lane Kiffin.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Left the Ole miss It would be different reason?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Well, what would be a different reason? It's the bottom line.
To me, that's it. That's always the same reason. To
tell you, If I'm getting more money, then I'm going like,
that's hey. If if ESPN came to me and said
we're gonna give you X amount of more than what
you're making out Fox, I'd be like ce Jonas, I
love y'all hitting over to Yes, I'm gonna catch you.
I'm gonna check y'all out. I'm all about the bottom.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
I love that, But I also think there's other things
that play into to that. If the money's equal to that,
that ca you know, maybe someone's not happy with with
where they're at and how that's all going, because.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
People do want them out of there at Alabama, right Like,
that's what I well.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
There's people who aren't necessarily happy with how things have gone.
Which it was always gonna be tough to fill the
shoes of the greatest college football head coach of all time.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
You know, so that was gonna be a tough task regardless.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
But I do think that there, you know, if your
family's unhappy or you're not liking where you're at how
things are going, even though you'd have to say he's
done a pretty decent job, that there'll be a most
likely a playoff team this year. I mean, most people
think that, regardless of the outcome and the SEC championship
game they're in. I'm not one of those people who
feels that way, but we I don't think the committee

(25:16):
is going to ding them for playing in the conference championship.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
That's who I'm looking at if it were, and I
guess I'll this would be my first time maybe even
saying anything publicly about you know, obviously, I think What
makes it complicated is that James Franklin is a fine
football coach and the fact that he's a fine football

(25:41):
coach and you know it ended the way that it
did with him, I think that that creates a level
of a standard or and I guess listen, either way,
you were going to need to bring in somebody who
you feel is going to get you to that next level.

(26:01):
I think that's what I'm the point I'm trying.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
To get at.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
So and so that's I mean, that's the the great
question here is I feel like that's an unknown with Terry.
But Terry has a lot of assets and built a
little bit of of kind of good will with how
he has finished out the season. So there's that conversation,

(26:25):
is he the guy that can do it? You know?
I think that would remain to be seen, But I
know the players love them, and there there's just much
like we were mentioning with day Ball. Uh, there's a
lot of Letterman and a lot of players that are
taking strong stances on wanting Terry Smith to get the
job as well, like OJ McDuffie, Mike Robinson, guys like that, go,

(26:48):
where're you going to say, John's sick. That's not what
I'm saying. That's not a sticks pick though. So you're
sitting there doing like you're you're motioning to do a
sticks pick, but that's not there's no stick. There's no
sticks picked. Ye yeah, okay. Uh.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
One thing that's been reported out there too that is
an interesting note and again, and this makes it all,
you know, to me pretty fascinating, is was James Franklin
represented by Jimmy Sexton?

Speaker 1 (27:21):
I don't know all that?

Speaker 5 (27:22):
Okay, Well, the reason why.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
I bring that up and I don't and I believe
that's the case that uh, Jimmy Sexton was upset that
Penn State moved on from James Franklin the way that
they did with it. So there's a thought that the
largest coaches agent power broker for c AA, Jimmy Sexton,
you know, maybe holding it a little bit against Patcraft

(27:45):
and making this a much more difficult process. And I
think part of that process is going to be more
difficult too when he has Caitlyn de Wore, for example,
as a client. So some of the candidates that we're
talking about for the Penn State job are candidates that
are are you know, again with the same agent that
you just fired that coach with, So you just dealt
with that in that respect.

Speaker 5 (28:07):
Now you're you're that.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
University looking for other head coaching candidates, and Jimmy sex
And may be saying, yeah, I don't know, Calen, maybe
you're better off where you're at, you know, maybe the
grasses and greener here.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
So there is there is.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
That, there's that possibility. Yeah, I mean, there is that possibility.

Speaker 4 (28:22):
But it's there's a relationship to between the agent and
the athletic director that could be strained. There are some
reports out there that are you know, hinting at some
of that. So again, a lot of drama going on
in regards to the college football world the hiring cycle,
but it doesn't feel like it's it's done yet. It
feels like once this Penn State domino drops, there'll be

(28:45):
more that come along with that. And again we're already
seeing some of the lower jobs, like a I should
say lower, but a group of six jobs you know, Memphis, USF,
A number of other you know, opportunities have opened up,
so those are smaller. But I think once the whole
thing gets figured out between Colonie Sataki and BYU and
Penn State. Then we'll start to you know, see what

(29:05):
other candidates are potentially out there.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Are you Are you able to bet on who isn't
going to get the job?

Speaker 8 (29:14):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (29:15):
Yeah, actually you can. And by the way, as as
we keep talking, the odds have changed. Jeff Brawm's a
forty six percent chance now is odds continue to go
up Klannie Sataki as he's pushed ahead of Brian Hartline.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
But Sataki is now a twenty five percent. So, m
all right.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
I mean I did do a little bit of research.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
When I get flagged. If i've if I cast a bet,
like if I put a big bet out there and
and bet on, you might not want me. Yeah, okay.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
By the way, there's about three point almost three point
six million dollars that have been placed on this specific
topic on this site.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
Uh that's pretty heavy volume. But my.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
I guess comment that would be you can go ahead
and place a bet because there's nothing you've provided us
that have lent us any direction whatsoever where.

Speaker 5 (30:07):
This thing's going.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
So I would be good, I think so, because I
gotta be honest with you, I don't know if you
know what's going on or not, Like you've led us
to believe that you have no idea what's happening there.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Don't.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
By that way, Bet there's a there's a Crumble Cookies
four miles from Beaver Stadium in State College. So if
Sataki's like, you know what, why don't I just go
take the Mormon bake goods all the way over to
State College and just be a part of this whole process.
Here go coach up LeVar Arrington the second. I mean,

(30:39):
there's one right there nearby. So if Crumble really wants
to get their hands dirty and get involved, just keep
it local too.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
You know, it's interesting. I've had Crumble Cookies in State College.
So there you go. Yeah, there is a Crumbled.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
I didn't know that was a Mormon company. I'll be
honest with you.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
I didn't know that either.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
I don't know about a Mormon company. I think it
was started by a gentleman who who happens to be Mormon.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Uh said, Mormon cousins started it.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
Jason McGowan. I believe it's the CEO that was a
big b YU doable.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
It was funny too, Refra. Was that going to be
some self control? It was going to be funny too.
It was funny, Like I laughed about it on the
inside before I was about to say it, and then
I was like, yeah, Price didn't say it.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
I say it, LeVar. Can you narrow down if you
can't say I think Terry Smith.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
Well, let me put it this way.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
Who if you were a betting guy, if you were
going to put who would you bet on right now?
Because again, the betting favorite Jeff Brahm has about a
coin flip chance right now of getting the head coaching job,
and that was not at any point in time that
you have mentioned. So again, I think you're safe to
bet because I don't feel like you have any clue
what's going on there at Penn State.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
There you go, that's that's a great that's a great conclusion.
That's a wonderful conclusion, and that's what we'll stick with.
So if I place a bet then and if my
bet happens to hit, then I'm okay. I'm in clear
because I don't know anything. I really don't.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
Man, people are laying a bunch of bets. Is this you, Jonas?

Speaker 4 (32:17):
No, I'm just watching the volume of these bets go up.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
I would also encourage you guys, based on this past
week's results to steer clear of betting in general.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Oh that's a good point. By the way, should I
give you an update on our spread? Really bad for me?
Really bad for me? You were much better, and then
Jonas was just barely over over five hundred.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
But the best of the week, righted suck good jo
Jonas legitimate.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Okay, I was one and four. I didn't put myself
last there because LeVar gave you a hard time last week,
and then LeVar you went two and four. So for
the sea, Jonas is now back to five hundred. God,
it's been a lot of work for you to get there. Jonas,
good job.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
LeVar.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
You were at forty one and forty seven, so you're
trending in the wrong direction. And then I'm a forty
nine and thirty one, so still in the lead by
a decent manner.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Twins whens, I don't even care about this. Just so
we're clear on this, like we're clear, you can stand up,
do your little victory dance, little corn ball.

Speaker 5 (33:32):
Byways, an eight not a great week. We did.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
We did get one back closer to five hundred, but
we're two games back from five hundred. With the conference
championship weekend ago, so we'll be unloading the clip for
conference championship weekend.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
That is for sure.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Well people haven't already figured it out. This show is
sponsored by DraftKings sportsbook and official sports betting partner of
the NFL and NBA. And right now use the promo
code two pros to claim your special offer DraftKings. Again,
that's promo code two pros at DraftKings. The crown is yours.
So yeah, listen, maybe we'll get an answer. Maybe we'll
get an answer on the the Penn State head coaching job.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
I did see a bunch of two dollars bets go through,
and that's that's Jonas's wheelhouse.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Since that's that's Blake's.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Big money, big money, I bet that much.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
I'll tell you what though, I mean, the volumes increased.
It's fun to watch this thing. This is this is
a really fascinating sight.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
I mean, listening, you guys have you guys have got influence.
I mean that people, people are listening. People are wanting
to get involved, you know, they want to. I want
to try and make some coin off this. So but
LaVar told us man Terry Smith's going to be the guy.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
So I did not say that, LaVar.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
You really haven't said anything, like if you had to
had to say, who you think it's gonna be?

Speaker 5 (34:44):
Who do you think it's gonna be?

Speaker 6 (34:45):
Right?

Speaker 1 (34:45):
This ain't Star Wars bro Like, you're not going to
Jedi mind trick me into saying something like I'm telling
you guys, I don't know anything. That's That's what it is.
I don't know anything. I'm just waiting, just like everybody else.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
You know, if you hear anything on the streets, keep
us posted.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
But I did say something earlier on, though I don't
be repeating myself. What I did say something.

Speaker 5 (35:13):
Like you said something, but then you didn't say I did.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
I said something earlier on.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Said Bobby Ingram. Is Bobby Ingram?

Speaker 8 (35:20):
Give me that?

Speaker 5 (35:20):
Said?

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Coach said that there he's at he's with the Washington
commanders right now. But I did mention his name. I did.
I did, but I didn't say he that was what
I thought I said he was interviewing.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Now you keep mentioning Daboll, and he's getting a lot
of people who are pushing front.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Mentioned day Boll. But I actually didn't bring up day Ball.
I think one of you guys brought up day ball
and now you.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
Wen Terry Smith, Yes, what just just said and you
just denied.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
I just mentioned him as one of the names that
you like. I told y'all, y'all leaving out the boor
is what i'd say, right, And and then we had
a conversation about that, and then we moved on to
the other ones. So I'm just saying for me.

Speaker 5 (36:10):
By the way, in case anyone was running.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
For me, that would be the one that I would
I'll say that would be the one I want. How
about that sticks picks out of out of all of them,
Ye like it'd be got him and Terry Smith?

Speaker 3 (36:30):
How about that? We run with that. Breaking news on
the FSR ex account, Coop LeVar Arrington says Terry Smith
and Calin de Boor are the leading candidates for the
Penn State coaching vacancy.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I did not say that. I did not say that.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
Whatever, we'll just run with it.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
But that's not what I said. That's not what I said.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
That's that's at LeVar Arrington, right.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Okay, Nope, it isn't at LeVar Arrington. That ain't what
I said. People.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
By the way, Sesame Street helped raise all of us.

Speaker 3 (38:00):

it away. Shelby Harris of the Cleveland Browns, who had
this to say about Juwan Jennings following the game on Sunday.

Speaker 8 (38:11):
He's a hoe and I want that known, Like, I
see why he got punched the nuts, because that's like

another man ever. But like, I don't respect it because
you say that didn't run behind your old line. That's
some real soft and I want that known. I see
exactly why they punch your nuts. I'm surprised nobody comes
from the jaw yet.

Speaker 1 (39:37):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
