Speaker 2 (00:51):
Come on, Jonas, Yeah, come on Jonas, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
You think that's what that hooker was listening to you
before she got in the elevator.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Maybe just maybe I was going down, going down or something.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
That was the backdrop, that.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Was the music that was playing while I was getting.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Maybe I'm maybe I'm being too judgmental. Maybe she wasn't
a hooker.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
I mean, maybe she looked at you and thought you
were a man of the night.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
I just you know, the timing of it, how she
was dressed, how she looked. I mean, she she.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Fit the mold she did all right, Well, if us
are at the hour that you saw her, if she
fit that kind of thinking, yeah, you might as well
err on the side of that's that's what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yeah. And the other thing that led me to think
that she was was she didn't like leave. It was
like a car picking her up, try to back out
into the casino. I was thinking, No, she's gonna go
find some more work because we are again it's mourning
for us. It's still last night for someone else. Yeah,
(01:58):
so somebody's nights. She might yes, it's ending right now.
She might get back up on the horse. They might
still be going.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
She might have headed back to the strip club to
get back on the bowl like that. Just never know.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
It's like that slab of ribs Rocky was punching in
the freezer. Dang, why is that well it took a beating.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I don't mean to sound again judgmental with it, but
I feel like hoop earrings something about it too, just
with that look that seems like I feel I think
Jessica was Jessica Roberts or I want to think of who's.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
The actious pretty well, Julie.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Roberts.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
She like big hoop earrings and did she? Yeah, I
think that's where I got that from.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
She's you know, that's that's another level though, that's when
you can take home.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, she did not look like her No, no, she
looked like a distant cousin.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Oh No, like very distant.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Anita doth you know, probably not have a few paties.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh no, oh no, she had a booty do. Belly
came out more than the booty do dang.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Vegas man, you know, they opened their arms to everybody.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Do you remember the first time you two went. You
guys were in Vegas, but I don't know. I was
around a fight or something. You guys were set up
in a spot where they were being solicited.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh yeah, I mean I was. It was more than solicited.
I was. I don't know what we're being violated, what
I was being.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
We were at mg So we were at MGM. It
was the day after the NFL draft. It was when
the Steelers took Kenny Pickett. I remember. And uh, we
were at MGM, and we were by Hakassan. And because
the show starts three o'clock local time, that's right when
everybody's leaving Hakassan, and so LeVar was, we're.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Right in front of We're right in front of that Lorts.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Bar, and LaVar's Lvar is just sitting there. We're doing
the show. This girl came out. Did she pull her uh?
Did she pull her cash and prizes out? I think
I got a video.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Of that, I don't remember at all.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Like she was aggressive though, that was I mean.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
She grabbed our coffee and all that stuff, was trying
to put sugar in our coffee.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Coff I thought, thought he was going all.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Right, grabbed the caffee out in my hand.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Man.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
I was like, I don't want this coffee.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
She had no she had no interest in me, no
interest in Lee. She went straight to var She's like,
I want the Hall of Famer. That's what she wanted.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
That's what you're going with.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
And she got it.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
She won, and she got it.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
She got it right.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I was just doing radio, man, and just like right
now I'm tired as hell trying to get through the
topics and do this radio.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Well, I got one for you. What you got remember
Philip Rivers?
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, Philip Rivers.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Turned forty four on Monday, and apparently he is going
to be in Indianapolis later on today for a tryout
with the Colts, who find themselves in a really tough spot.
Daniel Jones has done for the year with the Achilles
Riley Leonard has got a knee issue. Brett Rippon is
the only other quarterback on the roster, and so the
(05:53):
Indianapolis Colts are looking for help. I kind of thought, hey,
you know what, why do you see if Joe Flacco
can do it? He spent time there before, and you
know that that seemingly, you know, like, why why not
see if Joe flaggo can continue the one of the
great quarterback seasons we've ever seen and go to another
team and play well. And instead, the Indianapolis Colts are
going to bring in Philip Rivers. He according to reports,
(06:15):
he has yet to decide whether or not he wants
to play, but he's at least leaving his two hundred
and eighteen kids to get.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
You brought it up. So you're talking about somebody being
in a hard space or a hard spot. Uh, Mama Rivers,
Tiffany Rivers is in a tough spot, ten ten kids.
So you're gonna roll out to go to go play
some football again. Wait, let's let's let's do a check here,
(06:47):
by the way, money in the bank account, by the way.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
You know he's got he's got a grandkid now too,
does he really? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Yeah, he's Oh man, he's a grandfather. Yeah man, granddaddy'd
be slinging it still, hey man, Yeah, Well.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
He wanted to sling it again. And then in the league,
have we ever had a granddad in the league? Would
that be at first? Would that be a record?
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Was Brett Favar a grandfather?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
He was?
Speaker 2 (07:11):
He might have been?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
He was?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
He was up there.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Now, how old is this player?
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Forty four? Okay, that's not too old. That's very grandpa though.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
I mean he made ten kids, so he probably got
going with you know what he was doing?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Well geez, well, let's remind people how we got to
this point though. So Daniel Jones, who was playing front
through I believe that what a fracture right in his
shin and it was the opposite leg, but there's his achilles.
So he's out now. Anthony Richson, their former first round pick,
(07:46):
is already on ir because he had a basically a
rubber band, like a fitness rubber band, snap and fracture
his orbital bone in his face. You literally can't make
that up. And so breta Ribbit. It's the only healthy
quarterback now on the roster besides Briley Leonard, and they
(08:06):
clearly need some veteran presence. Leonard draft the sixth round
out of out of Notre Dame, but why not Flacco.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Are they bring in Flacco?
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Wouldn't that make more sense?
Speaker 3 (08:17):
He's been there, Yes, Philip River has been out a
year more than that two Maybe he.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Had twenty twenty. So this is this is how long
he's been out. He's a semi finalist for the Hall
of Fame because he's been out five years. If he
comes back, it resets the clock, so you'll have to
wait another five years.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
And he'd probably come back really win a more mentor
ship role. I will say this, if he was gonna
come back to any team, this is one you could
just go back in there, hand the football off, throw
some screens, maybe a couple of deep shots. But you
got Jonathan Taylor back there.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Man, if I was away from the game that long, well,
I'll say this the game the valance has been legislated
out of the game. Sure, it is very few times
that quarterbacks are hitting pummel if they know how to
get rid.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Of the ball, that is true. I would say this
is to me, the biggest adjustment's gonna have to make.
Do you remember like the first time you had to
like move quick, you know, you had to have a
quick twitch your body when you get away from doing
that consistently and practice. Yeah, you lose that, lose it,
and then you start like pulling stuff, you know, and
(09:23):
you're like tweaking stuff. Man, what the hell happened to
my body? That's a real thing. It is like he
could he could tweak something just walking out to practice.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yeah, yeah it could.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Well.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
I mean, look what happened with Frank Ragnow who tried
to come out of retirement with the Lions, couldn't pass
this physical because he had a Grade three hamstring tear
or pole or something like that, because he probably tried
to get back into shape and he'd been out all
year and that was it. Those those dreams are dashed.
So now the Colts potentially, first of all, I want
to see it. I want to see it happen. I'd
(09:56):
love to see Philip Rivers come back.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Why not Flack?
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I don't get that he was just there last year
and he played this year and he's and looks Cincinnati,
you don't need him anymore. You're not going anywhere. It's over.
So yes, bring let Flacco come in and see if
he can complete the trilogy. Here of the season.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Are they gonna have Burrow finished out the season? Then?
Speaker 1 (10:19):
I mean, why wouldn't you You gotta have something people
to watch.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
I don't know, Well, I guess because yeah, they don't
really have a young guy to look at. I just
always think at this point, like once the season is
officially over and you can't make it in the playoffs,
I know people would be upset with us, but Pulling, well,
you'd want to protect him, but you also want to
see what else is behind him. Like if you look
at that backup situation, they brought in Flaca because Jake
Browning wasn't getting it done. So now you know Flaka
(10:45):
is not gonna be your long term backup. You know
Burrow's your guy, but you better figure out what's behind him.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
I mean it makes sense. Plus, I mean I would
look at the same way for Jayton Daniels in Washington.
There's no reason to risk him getting hurt, Like I
could see if he was just healthy. You're talking about
guys who have come off of injuries that have come
back to play with the team. So it makes a
lot of sense that if you were to deactivate a
guy based off of where you are, knowing that you
can't mathematically make it into the playoffs anymore. I don't
(11:14):
see there being any issue with that. But my my,
my question is, why the hell would you think that
you would be competitive if you brought Philip Rivers in
and Philip Rivers was actually good. No, that's not that's
not shade, that's just real. That's just it's been five years.
(11:35):
That's how long it's been. That's real yesterday. Hey man,
If you feel as though a guy that's been removed
that long can come out of retirement and assist your team,
you're either a delusional as to how you get to
success in some way somehow, maybe it's worked out for you.
I don't know, or or or or be I don't
(12:01):
know what b is.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
It's not a good movie. Somebody call up somebody call
up Abe Lincoln, who's the GM at Stanford, and be like, hey,
you left the organization in a bad spot years ago.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Why didn't yourew Like, if you're gonna go get Philip Rivers,
Ryan played the more recently than Rivers, you know, wouldn't
it makes sense to call him in.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
If you're gonna do that, yeah, let's just go down here.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
It just doesn't make sense. Ultimately, I think what the
conclusion is and the consensus of it, Like who would
think to release that? And why would you think to
bring him? Like you bring back the guy from the
Philadelphia Eagles, the defensive lineman. He just retired. He retired,
you know, you brought him back, and he brought him back.
(12:45):
You brought Graham out of you brought him out of retirement. Okay, great,
but this man has been in retirement, like he's probably
done some mock breastfeeding like like uh, sorry, what like Pa,
who is that Robert de Niro did? Didn't meet the fokkers?
You know what I mean? Like what they probably did
something like you know, like mock uh breastfeeding, you know
(13:08):
what mock like like you know he had like the
little device that he put on and the fake yeah fake,
I mean ten kids and he's a granddad.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
He didn't.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
He didn't, he didn't mock He didn't somebody I don't
know some I mean do people do ten.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Kids and California thing they try?
Speaker 3 (13:31):
That's uh, you're giving us a hint. Like you two
years in the road, bro, I mean, are you good?
Speaker 2 (13:37):
We're good. It's nice to be good. Nice to get that.
PTO may have to adopt, I know, but it's it's nice.
I take advantage of the benefits.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
You do know that there was a shot taking that
people that take days off like that, you know on
another show. You do know that they call them weenies,
I believe, like guys that take the full amount of
time for you know, kids via Born. I wanted to
(14:11):
get the sound and play it, but I've just said
I thought it was pretty interesting that they made it
a point to have a full out conversation about it
and say those are weenies that do that. But hey,
you know, I'm just saying, opportunity presented itself to bring
it up, so I brought it up. I mean, maybe
it starts some beef, maybe it doesn't. I don't know.
But if somebody call.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Me a weenie and is trying to protect it right now,
huh protect Jonas?
Speaker 3 (14:35):
What happened? Bra? Did you hear it?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
I still haven't heard it. You mentioned it, yes, Oh
you haven't heard it. No, I haven't heard it.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
Oh man, we got to pull it up, Khay. Can
Is there any way you could find the promo of
it is like a week ago. I don't know if
you could find it, but it was a promo and
it was one of the shows. It was one of
the more populars.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Just saying do they even have one on?
Speaker 1 (15:03):
I don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
I like to stay above board, like like throwing out shades,
throwing shade in a way where there's shade involved. I'm
just saying he called dudes that took full time weenies.
I just want to.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Hear the sounds like that dude only got one job.
That's what it sounds like. And I don't know. I
does he have kids?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Feel like he don't have kids? Okay, there, I feel
like he has kids.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
So yeah, man, I don't try to judge or speak
for other people.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
I don't either. I don't either. But I thought it
was interesting that it was not only spoken about, but
it was actually you.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
I just don't think if you do radio you can
call anyone else a weenie. Radio is not a tough
guy deal.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
It's not.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
It's not like and by the way, broadcasting in general,
it's not.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
You're kind of a weenie being a broadcaster on radio.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Like try, by the way, every single week, when we're
around like the action of what is like football and
everything else, you forget the physicality and what you have
to put yourself through to do that, but you're constantly
reminded of like this is not this is a it's
a weedie profession.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
It is it's tough to No, it's not tough for me.
I really enjoy this in comparison to what I had
to do to make my living before. I really do
enjoy this, you know, like we used to do this
on the sideline, in the locker room and the meeting rooms,
on the buses, on the airplanes, and now you get
to do it and do it this way, and very
(16:37):
few people who get to do it. I just always
look at it from the standpoint like just own it,
like if you're a weenie, owned being a weenie, you
know what I mean, Like whatever that means. I just know.
I was walking out of the hotel and Al Wilson
jumped up from his blackjack table and gave me a
hug and was excited to see me. I can't be
(16:57):
a ween.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
He still looks like he could do it.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Like I'm overweight, Like I be hating
when I see these dudes and they be looking like
they still like like he looked like he jumped out
of the weight room and put his suit jacket on
to come play some black jack. You know, I just
hate that I'm obeste and I can't look the way
these guys look around disappointing.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
I do thoroughly enjoy You're disappointing being in person with you,
because there's always some wisdom in the breaks, Like I don't.
Jonas has got problems, so he steers that conversation with
the gutter. But I feel like you and I actually
get to have real conversations.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
I actually do have real conversations, you know.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Yeah, not just that with Jonas.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
That's not with Joe.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
He's not interested in any of them.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
No, Jonas likes to like paint pictures with his words,
like he likes to get real, real clear images of
what he's thinking through the way he says with.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
The I tell you stories, not stats.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
You know, you tell me stories. That was a shot too.
That was ten dollars. Ten dollars right there. That should
be ten do no, no, I pick up on your bs, Jonas.
That was passive aggression.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
I may create a rule where there's no fines implemented
while we're in person, all three of us at super Bowl,
because there's too much back and forth.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
I get it. That's fun Jonas. You need to get
kicked in your stomach right now. Man?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
For what?
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Yeah, because I saw you slip that little slip in there,
like that little quick slip in there. I heard you.
I saw I heard you surgical with this as.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
We so where we're not. We can't find the promo
that you were referring to. That's that's out.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
It was still searching.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
It was. It was like last week.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
I never heard it, So I I.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Did, I did? I heard it.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Was it like a video promo or was it was?
Speaker 3 (19:04):
It was on in the radio. It was like running
door in the break. Oh okay, it was running door
in the break and it would have been towards the
end of last week. Well, yeah, I think.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Do you guys think before we close out, do you
guys think Philip Rivers signs with the Colts? Why is
he flying out there and trying out If this isn't
a legitimate possibility of happening, there's.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
No I was gonna say, like outside doing a physical
and making sure his body is like physically in a
position actually practice, maybe play. It'd be interesting to see
him throw. So can I work out?
Speaker 1 (19:38):
That looks like I wonder if Joe Flacco gave him
hope tours, like, you know what, I could still do this,
give him hope. Yeah, is het coaching. He was in Alabama.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
I think got Betty's slinging it every day for five years.
Probably kids.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Flacco was out for five years before he came back. No, no, no, no,
But he's not doing a Flacco.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Who would this be the closest.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Come to I don't powers, I don't.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
What character yet. Eli Manning's serious kind of corny man,
I mean it was. It was well done, like it
was like a after school special type feel to it. Sweet,
It's like real corny, cornballish. Yeah, that's what this is
(20:37):
more comparable to. Though, Like, imagine the backdrop of that storyline.
What does Philip Rivers look like during the course of
a regular day every day having ten kids? Now, I
don't know how many are out of the house, but
god dang, I know they ain't all out. I tell
you that.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
A picture him with a cup of coffee all the time,
Like when you're a dad with that many kids, you're
just constantly need a caffeine.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
See, in my mind, I pictured him all all with
like like little house on the Prairie, Like he's Michael Landon?
Is that his name? Michael Landon?
Speaker 2 (21:13):
How would you note that?
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Is that his name?
Speaker 2 (21:15):
I think it is?
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Like that's like it's like an episode out of.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Should you watch The Little House in the Print?
Speaker 3 (21:25):
Fake? I think I've seen it a few times. I
certainly have saw the intro to the show.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Could you imagine walking on the bar watching the Little
House on the press startled?
Speaker 3 (21:36):
I'd be like what I turned, turn that bitch off
so quick, like not before you come in.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
I'm white and I've never watched The Little House on
the Prairie ever. Ever, Why are you just walking here?
It's like you're guilty pleasure.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
That probably be worse than catching somebody like taking care
of himselves like Godday, Like dude had Little House of
the Prairie on?
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Like what those botts really did it for you?
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (22:05):
I don't even know why I saw that show before,
to be honest with you, I have no idea, but
I have seen it. I have seen it, and it
makes me think about Philip Rivers, like that would be
the life that he's living, like good Christian family, you know,
read the Bible, get outside, plow to plow the yard
with horses and stuff like that, and milk the cows
(22:27):
and grab the eggs and make make your own butters.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
You know it's not Almish.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
No, he's definitely not homish.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
More Quaker oh Man.
Speaker 1 (22:40):

If anybody was wondering what time is it, you get
the time on you you know what time?
Speaker 2 (25:51):
It isn't Cleveland game towns.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
You know time in Cleveland. It's perfect timing. That's the
time it is in Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Should or say and he balled out mans guy with
a throng going though, I'm sorry what my man balled
out with a with a with a perfect time and
thong skims perfect time in thong.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
I didn't even look at the video because I thought
it was gonna be.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Uh yeah, No, I don't know if it's a I
generated or not. I just don't know. I just can't
see how that could be real in any way.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
I did see the tim hardaway when you sent though.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Stupid, can you copy the past that way?
Speaker 1 (26:37):
There's no way that's there's no way that's real. I
need to see this.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
There's no way.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Quickly, There's no way. Please don't be real.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Don't be real. Please please don't be real. Well, so
it seems like it's real.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Man Shathong Sanders is your quarterback one in Cleveland. He
is the brown starter for the rest of the season
there and at Kevin Stefanski, the head coach of the
Cleveland Browns, was asked whether or not whether or not
he was surprised by the performance of Shador Sanders.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
No surprise is the word.
Speaker 6 (27:19):
And I think again, we've been around each other now,
going back to April, so I've seen constant improvement in
a bunch of areas. But I also saw in that
game some areas of improvement in some areas that we
asked him to improve upon. And I think that's you know,
the fun part of coaching is developing players and giving
(27:40):
them tools to improve in certain areas.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
If you will.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
And I think the fun part is when you have
players like shaudor like our rookies whomever it may be,
that that are very intentional about their own development as well.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
I like how he constantly makes sure to point out
to people like, hey, you know, there's more than just
Shoud or far as this rookie class goes. Actually a
really good rookie class. As we talked about last week.
They had a couple of guys on defense that are
up for Rookie of the Year. But like, yeah, there's more
than just shit or But he did play well against
Tennessee and he's going to be the guy there moving forward.
So much for Den and.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
He should be like what else do we need to
watch the rest of the season with In regards to
Deshaun Watson, you know you got him, like I just
I don't see a point like I'd want to see
more shoud or the more he's played, the better he's gotten.
I give him an opportunity to let him keep running
with this thing and let him see if this like
young group of rookies can't build momentum and turn around
(28:38):
the franchise.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
He's in this last game. I would say what you're
saying makes sense if you really truly believe there's the
possibility that he could be your quarterback for the future.
If you don't see him as being the quarterback for
your future, or you feel like you need more time
(29:02):
to figure out if he's your quarterback of the future,
then you continue to play him. But if he's not
your quarterback of the future, and I guess I would
assume you would figure out how they feel about him.
If Deshaun Watson truly indeed came back, was ready to play,
and they actually prepared to play him again, if he
(29:24):
is not Shador Sanders, if he is not looked at
and viewed as our quarterback of the future, where We're
not going to go into this year's draft trying to
get to the number one quarterback in the draft. If
you feel good about your door, then you leave them in.
But if there's any other indecision, anything outside of that
(29:47):
type of belief and conviction, if Deshaun Watson is available,
I am convinced that you have to put him out
there to see what you have alf I'm just convinced
of that unless you think Shador Sanders is your guy,
and then you can change that. You can change that tune.
(30:09):
But I feel like if you don't look at him
as being your guy, then it's almost like a waste
of time and you're wasting an opportunity to be able
to see what you have in Deshaun Watson and what
it could possibly mean for you moving him or whatever
it may be that you're going to have to be.
But you've already seen him, like not not this year,
(30:31):
not this year. What if he came out there and
it was perfect time and for him play play? You know,
what if? What if? What if it wasn't about Shador Sanders.
What if it was like the remix and and Deshaun
Watson came out and he put his verse on perfect
time and then started bawling.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Out it's called perfect toweling.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
Perfect time.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
I just think that the uh.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
You can tell you to hear, right, I just I
think that.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
It's just so bad.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
This is not even funny. But I just I think
every time when I whenever I hear Kevin Stefanski talk,
I just I visioned a guy like looking around, going
how many more weeks of this I got before we
can get out of here?
Speaker 3 (31:19):
What do we got?
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Let's see week fifteen coming up? Three four more games?
You know, listen, I'm gonna be out of here, and
I know that I'm gonna have a job immediately once
they decide to move on for me, and if they
decide to move on from him, that guy is going
to be in a much better situation with an owner
who's not doing what Jimmy Haslm did with the quarterback position,
(31:42):
and with an organization and a franchise that's going to
at least have a plan moving forward and not rolling
through however many cores. I actually wonder how many quarterbacks
you think Kevin Stefanski's had to coach in Cleveland since
he's been there.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Oh, that's a good question. The average about four per year?
Do they do you count the quarterbacks if they didn't
play in a game, like guys who're just on the roster.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Yeah, he's got to catch him right, Yeah?
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Okay? How long has he been there?
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Now?
Speaker 1 (32:11):
I was it twenty nineteen?
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Six years?
Speaker 2 (32:14):
I mean you have to say it's gotta be ballpark
fifteen sixteen. That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
But what's so?
Speaker 2 (32:23):
What is the Elvadri we'll talking about this year alone?
He's coached. I mean, if you count Watson, that's four,
and they have who else has been on the roster
this year? Maybe five? Because didn't they pull what was
Huntley there for a minute? Yep, they've had Watson, Huntley,
Gabriel Schador, Santos, Joe Flag. That's five? Was there a six?
Did they bring in? Can you put came in out
(32:45):
of Western Kentucky?
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Bailey Zappi?
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah? It was he Zapi that I think Zampi was there.
That's six?
Speaker 1 (32:53):
All right, So I've got the list of quarterbacks going back.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
We might get over fifteen, all right.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
So here's what we got. We got Baker Mayfield. These
are all quarterbacks that have started a game since Stefanski's
been there, Baker Mayfield, case Keenum, Nick Mullins, Jacoby Brissett,
Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
That's five? Is that five?
Speaker 2 (33:15):
This is the w six?
Speaker 1 (33:17):
Dorian Thompson, Robinson, p J. Walker, Jeff Driscoll, Yeah, Jamis Winston,
ten Bailey, z Appy all right, Dylan Gabriel twelve, Joe
and Shade Or Sanders thirteen, thirteen starters, Yeah, thirteen stars starters.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
So again you throwing Huntley there? Fourteen? Who else are
we missing? Do we have to be missing some guys
who like the practice squatters?
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Yeah, these are just guys with Josh Shohnson there.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Uh yeah, he's been everywhere, of course.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
I think if we were falls a beauty man, I'd
say Joshahnson was there at some point in the past
six years. That's fifteen.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Wow, Like he just I mean, there has to be
some part of him because I've you've never heard the
one thing I'll give Stefanski credit and all for anybody
that should be frustrated as a coach in the NFL
should be that guy. And I've never one time seen
him lose as cool with a media member. Never one
(34:25):
time see loses cool, have a red ass about anything,
And I just he's the guy sitting there having to
try and make sense of this all. And he's won
Coach of the Year a couple of times. And you know,
the the Joe Flacco trade, and one of the you know,
Albert Breer reported on this that Mike Tomlin, who was
(34:47):
critical of them trading him in the division, part of
that was because Mike Tomlin and Kevin Stefanski are buddies,
and Kevin Stefanski was completely caught off guard by the
Joe Flacco trade this year, like couldn't couldn't figure out
why they made the move and why they traded him
inside the division, And I think that was maybe sort
of the last straw for him where he's like, dude,
(35:08):
I got to get out of here. Like I just
I don't know what the plan is, but I can't
imagine he wants to be a part of this Servius
any longer.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Isn't this the fracture you see oftentimes in organizations where
you're like the head coach is just trying to win
to keep his job, and the champ it's like moving
on trying to get whatever they can for future assets.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
It is, and it's always when when teams are failing,
it's always self preservation. And now we are entering into
the time of the year where it's self preservation. Likes
me over everything, me over mo, me over everything, and
(35:49):
you'll see that with GMS, and you'll see that with coaches.
I just wonder in this scenario, as a coach, if
it is indeed the scenario that you're saying is possibly
playing out Jonas that he's leaving at the end of
the year and this season can't get over fast enough,
I wonder how you approach moving forward as a coach
(36:11):
finishing out the season, because your reputations still that's still important.
You don't want to not do what you need to
do reputationally speaking. And as it applies to building towards
the future, why would you be looking at trying to
do things that build towards the future if you're not
going to be there, you know? And I think that's
(36:32):
a hard question to answer because part of you has
to say, as a professional, you do your job until
you don't have your job. You don't become unprofessional or
start doing things differently because you're eminently going to lose
your job, meaning that you treat the whole scenario. The
same way if you thought that Shador Sanders was good
(36:54):
enough to name the starter and keep him as the
starter because you want to see if he can be
your quarterback of the future, even though your future doesn't
belong in Cleveland. That's how it's supposed to play out.
That's how it's supposed to play out now. Otherwise, I
don't know. It's it's effered debate and the interpretation. You know,
(37:16):
the ownership may tell him, tell him he wants Deshaun
Watson to play because there's so much money in him.
I want to see what we got. I mean, you
just never know at this point in time. But you know,
the plan is to keep the main thing the main thing,
even if being let go is imminent.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
By the way, I was looking through Josh Johnson's resume,
Good god, he's played like for everybody.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Yeah, oh my god. I mean that says a lot
about you, though. Yeah, if you're able to get employed
by almost every team in the NFL, you got to
be a good dude. You're talented enough. Obviously it speaks volumes.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
I mean, he like he had a pit stop with
the Sacramento Mountain Lions in between the Niners and the
Browns in twenty twelve. Like it's like he's been all
over the place the XFL. Like geez, all right, well,
good for him. It is two Pros and a Cup
of Joe here, good for him. Spicy as hell, man.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
It would be good for him if he puts some
Louisiana Hot sauce on what he had going on. I
promise you that. And you know what. It's the hot
sauce that has three simple ingredients. You throw it onto
your plate, turns any Tuesday into a tailgate. So no
matter what day it is, grab that original Louisiana Hot
(38:36):
sauce and add a little game day to every day.
That's Louisiana Hot. Y'all buy you Zonne Hell yeah, Josh
Dobbs was the guy you were thinking of, Brady Sash Dobbs.
That's who it was, all right.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
So coming up next here we got help on the way,
Help on the way in the world of football. That'll
be yours here on FSR.
Speaker 5 (38:54):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, andonus
Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three Am Pacific on

We're going to talk about what looks to be a
landslide in the world of football coming up here a
(39:28):
little over ten minutes from now. But we do have
good news. Help is on the way for ole Miss.
Four LSU offensive assistants are joining oc Charlie Weiss, junior
at ole Miss. They're going to help them for the
college football playoff appearance this upcoming.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
So it'll be all right and they're allowed to just
come on boring coach Lane Kiffin given permission football game.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
Yeah, so's there's some help there.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
Are they going to need that help them? Did they
already wop to Lane early this year?
Speaker 1 (39:59):
By thirty they're a slight seventeen and a half point
favorite seventeen and a half in the college football Playoff
on DraftKings.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
If that plays out that way, that is a loss
for the college football Playoff.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yeah, but that's what you get when you have higher
seeds versus lower seeds. Like that's like it's the early round.
It's like in college basketball, it's the NCAA Tournament.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
I don't think there's enough teams that get into the
playoff for it to not be all competitive teams. And
I listen, I know we've had this conversation, but I'm
just saying, I think it's strange if guys are getting
blown out, Like if this is another year where like
(40:44):
smaller schools get blown out early on in the tournament,
it's got to be looked at. It's got to be
looked at because there's really with the amount of teams
that go into the playoff, there should never be a
game where you say that's an easy game. You should
never be able to say it. Every game should be
a competitive game, like that's going to be a throat
(41:04):
like they're going to thump. It's going to be a
thump game.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
I'll throw this out there and just say, are there,
you know, let's say ten teams in this twelve team
playoff excluded group of six teams that are that competitive
with one another. I think if you, just if I
just told you to me a House State, Indiana, Georgia,
Texas Tech top four seeds, yep, I think I think chocky.
(41:28):
But like also like you'd say, yeah, I think those
are the four best teams. Maybe Oregon gets left out
or whoever else, but.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
I think there's enough teams where there shouldn't be an
easy game, there should never be a blowout.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Is Notre Dame one of the four best teams in
the country?
Speaker 2 (41:43):
I know, I mean based on the betting odds, That's
how the odds makers would would put that out. It's
funny too, if you actually look at the odds makers,
they'd say basically House stayed, Indiana, Notre Dame, maybe even
Oregon versus almost the entire field. They would almost be
favored in every single game. George is the only team
that that's schedule out favoritism. Well, but by the way,
have you guys heard about the trainer games added to
(42:03):
your bengelists. The ten athletes go head to head and
the chance to win an I Fit trainer contract. Worth
two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. It's on Prime Video
starting January eighth. Gotta check it.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Out there, you go see that smooth? Hey Loraana, you
just got to relax, right, yeah, she gets weird. Relax.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
You should see your girlfriend. Do what you do, girl,
I'll see what you did.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
You go girl?
Speaker 3 (42:25):
Yeah, well done, well done. Hud hut
