Speaker 6 (02:29):
All I know is my wife told me for we
were somewhere and she goes, oh, yeah, that store they've
got men's bags. I go, like what, She goes, yeah,
men's bags. They have women's too, but like men's bags,
I go, what do I need a bag?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
For.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Like, what do you mean, she said, I don't know,
it's like a fashion thing.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
I was like, what, dudes are what do you have
as a guy that you need a bag for?

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Like we have a wallet? Yeah, what do I need
a bag for?

Speaker 6 (02:57):
We have pockets, I have a Yeah, you're right, I
have multiple pockets and I have a wallet. I don't
need a bag to access rize and carry around.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, what are you putting in there? Hey?

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Man, I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Guy's not really a thing though, Like men fashion, Like
this fashion deal is like it's really a thing, like
a real, real thing that shouldn't be, that shouldn't be.

Speaker 7 (03:29):
You guys want input from like a gen z you.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead, give it real quick.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
Mary back for you saying, I think this is part
of the problem is we're allowing z.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I just think a.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
Lot of men these days want to be like the girls,
Like they want to be the fashion When you go
to the clubs, the fashion guys and all of them,
they're at the DJ booth and they want to be
like the girls. Like they're pushing the girls to the front,
you know, they're getting the sections. They don't want the

(04:06):
girls to be there. They want to. You know, yes,
they're doing that and they're flaunting, and they want to
be groopies, and they want to be with the rappers,
and they want to be with all the guys with
all the money.

Speaker 6 (04:16):
They want to what happened back in the day when
you're a dude, you're like, oh, yeah, here's my access,
you're my six pack.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
They don't care about that.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
They want to.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
They want to they go to the door, they're doing
color correction.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
They want to be like the girls. Wow.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
You know what all I know is that's a scary
thing for for our country.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Then how do you think we feel?

Speaker 5 (04:42):
They're laughing at us right now? Rush is just laughing
at man.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Oh man, they're serving their kids rabbis raw.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Yeah, we come dominate us.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
There was a lot of meat at our dinner last night.
I don't tell you that. Holy smoke, Brazilian steak was
good too. Yeah, I was not. Uh, I didn't really
get did you see him?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Did you see him? He was?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Because but it was But it was also kind of
late for us, having to get up this early, so
I didn't want to shove a bunch of you know,
Brazilian steak down my gullet and then have to sit
on that for a couple hours and then get up.
You sat on a bunch of meat before. That's I mean,
that's besides the point. Okay, And what I do after

(05:34):
the show's over is not anybody's business.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
It makes sense why you do? Dude wipes reads?

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Huh, it all made sense just now.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, the dude part.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Was the one that really, I tell you what was
Maybe that's maybe that's the only thing you need the person.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Oh good, You know, I didn't understand the whole process
because the guy came out and he explained to us.
He gave us instructions, and you know, he's Brazilian.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
And the flipping of the thing, I like, if they
have it on the table or you're flipping over you
if you wanted to keep coming and asking.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
I would.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
I wouldn't have known because I had no idea what
the guy said.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
What's the whole like when like little things, you pay
attention to little things and uh, it's like maniacal or
something like that, something something mania cold. Anyways, I was
watching the way they were serving up tikos stuff like that,
and I'm looking at the guy and they come and

(06:30):
you're sitting here, they sit it down on the table
right next to you. They put the meat right there
in front of your face. It's right there in front
of your face. Child, But I ain't even I don't
know anyway, they're cutting the meat off, and and I
would be sitting there and I'd be feeling like it's

(06:50):
this is a gang bang on meat, like like if
you think about it, like every single person is breathing
on your meat.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
By the time you get to the what the.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Fourth, fifth person, four, three or four people have already
breathed them have breathed on your meat. I does say,
if I'm going to get meat out of place like
this where they bring out all of this this this
meat that they're putting on your plate right there in

(07:23):
front of you, I would want.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
To be yeah, well, it's like buffets, though I would
want to be first.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
It's it's like a buffet, it is, but it to me,
to me, all right, because buffets, like I've seen people
touch like a piece of chicken. They be like, I
didn't like that. I don't like this piece and they
put it back and and and that to me, like
that that a semeio or like I walked out of
the restaurant. I said that, Ame, I haven't been to

(07:48):
a buffet in a really long I don't think the
State buffets left that. But you know, casinos always have
buffets for some reason, probably because it's super easy to
get get to. Yeah, probably, yeah, but some buffets are
not cheap. But I just I'm just sitting there and
I'm looking around in the way they're serving the food,
and I'm like, man, all these people are breathing on

(08:09):
the food, like it's literally too close to your face
to not be breathing on it.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
Buddy, we just went in the airplane and we're all
breathing each other's air.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
So yeah, but I'm not eating something that you're breathing on,
you know, like if you're breathing on on on, like
breathe on this steak and then it's like, oh, you
want some of my steak.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
No, we're breathing in their farts.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
I mean, and I mean.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
It's he doesn't, he doesn't.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
I mean, I don't know, man, I.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Say, do you draw a life people breathing?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
I didn't understand.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
I don't have a choice on in the matter on flying,
I'll say that I don't have a choice. But I'll
be damn if I sit there and I'm getting food
and I'm shoving it down my mouth and I'm sitting
there watching people breathe on it before you come cut
it to give it to me. I just I don't know.
Maybe I get that, I could see that.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
But it throws me off.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
What threw me off is the whole process of it,
because it was, yeah, you got to turn the card over.
If it's green, they're gonna keep asking you, yeah, and
if it's red they don't anymore. But then it was like,
you go to the salad bar area to go try
the soup, that great soup, okay, and the little the
little tongs that you like.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I thought you'd take those with you to the salad bar.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
So I were saying that too, Yeah pull it and
they say no, you pull it off the table, but you.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Got so Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
It was.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yeah, unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
But I mean, listen, hey, you can, you can. You
guys can have all that. I'll take pizza out all
day because here's a game day tip. Order pizza, the
QB shots, the first Hut, and if you're hungry, the
Big New Yorker's got those giant foldable slices, and right
now it's just ten bucks the biggest pizza for the
biggest games, all only at Pizzade.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
All right, so here we go again. So, hey, Bri,
I could tell what type of dude you were in school, Bro.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I mean, if somebody did something that you thought was
questionable and that could get in trouble.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
The facial expressions.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
You're where you go on like a real quick emotional
roller Coache's like it's like concern, it's it's it's it's thoughtfulness.
But then it's like really like, I don't know, we
got an evil side to you, bro, Like it's evil, Like, well, okay,
let's see what the else brother.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
You know, I don't like, I don't know what. It's
a new tracket too, by the way, it's actually not.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Have you ever buckled the top?

Speaker 5 (10:42):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
No, no, can we see you close it up and
buckle the top? No?

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I'm married, So that was my be part of.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
My His kicks are sweet, though. Yeah, he has increased it.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Like he has really never worn them.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Let's see the bottom, yeah, oh yeah, so you don't
even see see the damage?

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yeah? What of John's on fire? Yeah? Yeah? Stick City tailgate. Yeah,
far about it. Hooks out, throw up, all right, I
went there with somebody too. I think you'd be going
through withdrawal. Bro. You like bringing them up? Bring who up?

Speaker 5 (11:21):
Huh what you said?

Speaker 3 (11:22):
You went there with somebody? Who'd you go with? You know,
there's just a lot of people there. Oh hey, there
was one of the better tailgates I've been to.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah, yeah, thanks man, talk about talk about our derbs
you had.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
There was some stuff there, but who needs all that?
When he got this?

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Uh, here we go again with the NFLPA stepping right
up and putting their foot down and letting everybody know
whose boss. Interm Executive Director David White spoke yesterday about
the eventual what many people feel like is a foregone
conclusion eighteen game season in the National Football League, and

(12:02):
he had this to say, members.

Speaker 8 (12:04):
Have no appetite for an eighteenth game regular season, the
regular season eighteenth game. You heard that last year when
the Executive Committee was up here and they were talking
about what happens to their bodies when they're with their families,
when they're with their kids.

Speaker 9 (12:19):
They were very open and candid about that.

Speaker 8 (12:22):
It's punishing and we can see that on the teams
that have deep postseason runs, and we saw it this year.

Speaker 9 (12:31):
If you looked at even Week sixteen, the biggest.

Speaker 8 (12:34):
Storyline was arguably about the critical contributors going down, and
this was across many teams.

Speaker 9 (12:40):
And if you look at wild Card weekend, which.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
Would be the eighteenth game, if you took that week,
really significant injuries, some that were high profile, but a
bunch that weren't they but they happened. And those injuries
they cost players pay. They can shorten careers, they can
diminish lifetime earnings, and when your average career is already

(13:04):
three to four years, that becomes something that is existential.

Speaker 9 (13:08):
So the eighteenth game is not casual for us. It's
a very serious issue.

Speaker 8 (13:13):
It's something that comes out of negotiations, and nothing will
move forward until players have the opportunity to account for
all of those factors, take that into consideration, and then
through negotiations, agree or not to the eighteenth game. But
at the stands right now, players have been very clear
they don't have any appetite.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
For it, which is great.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
So you guys think by about Friday will be at
eighteen games.

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Well, to his point, they do have to agree upon it.
Per the rules of the CBA. However, this is the
stance you have to take if you're the players, because
you have to drum up those one or two things
you want most to get back in return for an
eighteenth game. So whatever that may be, but this is
your moment, this is your time you have. I mean,

(14:00):
he's interim, but you know, Dom Pop, Dave, some of
the other people who involved. You've got some guys who
I think have a much better feel for like standing
up for it. And because the owners want this bad, bad,
bad bad, they want this. You know, there'll be two
preseason games, eighteen regular season games, and look, they'll probably
try to even expand the playoffs the way this thing's going.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
But my thing is.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
This is the moment now for the NFLPA to stand strong,
come together, figure out those one or two things of
what you want, because it's eventually going to happen, and
I think they should. If they could get a third
thing in there, it would be to expand the active
roster on game day and maybe even expand the roster
in general to a few more players, to allow guys

(14:46):
if they're not you know, eighty percent, because a lot
of guys are playing banged up and they're playing through stuff,
and then you know, talking about the punishment their body,
they're shooting themselves up with stuff just to get through.
So allow them to be able to Hey, maybe they
missed one or two games, okay, but we've got enough
depth there to do it instead of having to make
all these different transactions, like there's got to be one

(15:07):
or two, maybe three things, they've got to.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Really focus in on.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
It definitely, to me is a setting of the stage
of negotiations right to raise the stakes of how how
much of a toll it takes on.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
A player's body.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
The thing I started thinking about when I was listening
to this is what will the investment be as somebody
who's getting older, what's the investment going to be on
what I get health wise? You know, four oh one
K wise, what like my retirement, what does that look like.

(15:44):
I would love for that to be taken to a
level of where when I get to a point in
my life where some people like, let's just be frank
about it, they're not going to be prepared to be
able to enter the workforce and bring a qualified level

(16:06):
of service in an industry that might be the only
way they can work.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
The first thing I would ask for.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Is like, after this is all said and done, you
take care of the ones who who laid down the
foundation for what the league is now and help build
the league to where it is, and then you take
care of your future. Like that's what that's That would
be the first thing.

Speaker 6 (16:28):
I mean, healthcare. I know it's too expensive. They really
need to push for that. Yeah, and that's that's a
short term, long term whatever that it's. It's super important.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
But it's also important to be able to take care
of yourself to get care if if you're always hustling
and bustling because a lot of guys they got to
work for the rest of their lives. I mean, that's
just the reality of it. If you're sacrificing your body
doing what you're doing, and the money is what it

(17:00):
is in the industry that you're in and you're the
driving force of that money, there needs to be, you know,
things that are put in place where you know, you
make X amount of dollars in your after life, you know,
and not just it is what it is, whether that

(17:20):
figure is you know, five thousand, six thousand, eight thousand,
ten thousand, whatever it may be you need to be
in a position and honestly, and you shouldn't have to
wait until you.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Get to your fifties to be able to do it.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Because your body doesn't start breaking down at fifty. Your
body starts breaking down a little bit earlier. And I'll
be the first one to tell you that, you know,
we're blessed to be able to have made good money
do well with your money, and honestly, even if we
did it, we're in a an industry where it doesn't

(17:56):
take a crazy toll on your body to do it.
But the bottom line is is that it's so far
and few in between where where guys are able to
catch on to jobs that would actually be able to
take care of you and your family moving forward. And
if you can't, if the reasons why you're not able

(18:16):
to work and work out a high level is because
of your health, the concerns of your health, then to me,
I feel like that's that's a disservice to anyone who
plays the game, because how do you make a living
for yourself once you leave this profession that took your
health away, that you gave your your years to health wise,

(18:39):
that to me would be the biggest, biggest conversation.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
If so the average career is what three years.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Three and a half, they say is don't have it
even that it's three, So just think it's you know,
I mean, obviously the game has changed with you know,
guys sticking around college longer, but basically.

Speaker 6 (18:57):
Increase the practice squad and made more guys eligible so
they could technically be around, but those aren't vesting here,
so they don't invest with some of the things LaVar
is talking.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
So I don't think people like understand or grasp the
concept because it's like, oh, you played in the NFL,
you got all this money. Imagine on average more likely
than not by twenty five years old, All right, have fun, buddy.

Speaker 6 (19:19):
What And then to point five, A lot of these
kids now too aren't coming out with degrees. You know,
they've bounced around a bunch of colleges, so they don't
have even a foundation or a.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Network to tap back into.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
And so it is kind of a scary thought to
think what's going to happen to some of these guys
down down the line. You know, I just want to
go back to like, I think this is a bow
and we don't do this enough as just professional athletes
where you know, you should talk to the Major League Baseball,
talk to the players union there, talk to the NBA
players Union and sit there and say like, hey, this

(19:53):
is you know that, help us with a little bit
with this, Help consolt a little bit with this, because
this is what we're attempting to do, how to think
we should go about doing it.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
It's not apples to apples, but this is a moment.

Speaker 6 (20:02):
Where like if you tried to push for lifetime healthcare
for all those guys who played you know, three five,
But wherever you do the cutoff, if you're able to
do that and then and and you're helping out past
generations and future generations and all that, it's precedent setting
for every union, like every single you know, professional sports
union now is going to push for that too, which
is a good thing. And unfortunately it's gonna be tough

(20:25):
and a lot of people will probably oh, it'll never happened,
but it could happen. These owners are making so much
money right now. If they go to an eighteenth game,
they're gonna make that much more. For the next TV
mediaitesteal and it's streaming becomes more a part of this
conversation too, the deep pocketed streaming platforms, they're gonna start
getting evolved.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Yeah, I wonder that's what And that's what makes it
to me the conversation is the amount of money that
your your your talent is generating four year business.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
I mean they want to do what nine international games
a year? Yeah, and it's gonna get to the point
to where you're probably gonna do one. Yes, they want
one every other week, and who knows how much further
that goes. And it does feel like it's getting to
a place to.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Where, hey, what do you know?

Speaker 4 (21:13):
The super Bowl just happens to be every year the
day before President's Day, which everybody up day off the
next day or for the most part, not us, but

stuff like wait, wait, wait do you.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
See hour three? All right, wait you see my hips?
A hour three?

Speaker 5 (23:34):
I'll let I'll let LeVar take the one.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
Oh you got it there here by the way, What
the hell is going on this set over here? There's
like a bunch of people and it looks like they're working,
but I don't actually see anyone doing anything.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
I agree, I agree.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
They could probably say the same thing about us.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
Oh they've got like twelve people and they're all hubble around.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
They look like they're doing stuff. I agree. Oh where
did I go?

Speaker 5 (24:00):
That's why.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
The Golden Domer himself showed up? So we got two
gold Yeah nice, you wake up early, bro, nice. That
was why they were all huddling up.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
I've been there for a while.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Oh they were. They were getting ready for the talent.

Speaker 5 (24:20):
That's all.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
See.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
It's you got issues, man, you got real problems. Boom
boom boom boom.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Boom man you know them big old drums. That's got
to be one of the coolest deals though, right if
you're playing at a symphony and you get to hit
the big heavy drums that make that noise boom like,
that's gotta be fun.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
No, we'll ask them it is how do you write
that music out? Learned that I don't know? They're right over there,
ask them it is. Two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Coin Jonas
knocked with you. Coming up, we are going to have
our Midweek Awards. It's the good, the bad, the ugly.
That'll be yours here in a little over fifteen minutes
from now. Just a reminder, though, this show is sponsored
by DraftKings sportsbook and official sports betting partner of the
NFL and NBA. Right now, use the promo code two
pros to claim your special offer of DraftKings. Again, that's

(25:25):
promo code two Pros of DraftKings. The crown is yours,
all right, So, Bradon T quinn, what's your problem with
the college football playoffs?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
A or what happened?

Speaker 6 (25:35):
Just what you thought college football couldn't get out of
its own way?

Speaker 5 (25:38):
Anymore.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
It's the fact that we've got to extend the season.
Like everyone kept calling from, why was there so much
time in between the playoff games and the end of
the regular season and the postseason. Of course they delay
it even further, so in twenty twenty six, now they're
playing some games I believe it is in a Wednesday, yeah,
the thirtieth yea, and then they'll play on Saturday, the

(26:02):
first on New Year's Day.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
And then you've got a.

Speaker 6 (26:05):
Gap before they play the semi final games, which will
be in the middle of January. So somehow, not only
do they create more space in between the games, they've
extended the season again. It feels like instead of just
condensing it, which is what everyone else wants, the coach.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
Won, I think the players won.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
I mean, no one wants these big, large gaps in
between when we're playing these games, whether it's from regular
season conference championship to the.

Speaker 5 (26:29):
Actual quarterfinal games or first round games.

Speaker 6 (26:31):
Excuse me, but even just to get to the quarterfinals
the semis it's.

Speaker 5 (26:35):
All too long and drawn out.

Speaker 6 (26:38):
It takes away, my opinion, from the suspense in some
of it. So I understand there's probably a business model
to it because you're you don't have these home game sites.
You know, you've gotten bowl games that have to put
this all together and figure out the logistics of two
teams and the fans, et cetera. But they're just I
feel like you could do it in a week. Man,

(26:59):
Come on the end of does this we don't know
who's gonna win, so that wildcard division and all that,
so perfect world for you wrap it all up in
a week.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
I would.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
I would start what is now viewed as week zero,
would be the beginning of the football season, all right.
I would try to wrap everything up by New Year's
New Year's Day Championship played New Year's Day.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
That's how I would. I would try to condense it
all into that.

Speaker 6 (27:26):
And reason being is for the health of the sport,
the players, the coaches. You're gonna continually have to worry
about players who are playing for a national championship opting out,
like backups, guys.

Speaker 5 (27:39):
Who you know want to start the next season.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
They may not have a chance to have been told
that or whatever, but there is a significant insurance policy
for that team that year, and those guys may have.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
To opt out. You guys had a quarterback obviously did
at Penn State. So I just I look at what's
happening and I say, I.

Speaker 6 (27:53):
Don't know why we've annoyted a group that doesn't seem
to want to present common sense to their their calendar
and they're scheduling for these games.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
I would also ask the question again, as we're continuing
to develop and figure out how that scheduling looks to
make it most advantageous for the product that that's taking
place at the college level, what do you do with
the off brand bowl games?

Speaker 6 (28:27):
Because the already said in the beginning of the season,
right moving to the beginning, you have kickoff Classics. You
do it from well again if hypothetically, and what I'd
want to see is weeks zero to week two, Okay,
you take every one of those bulls and.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Turn into conference I like that.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Now. I like that.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Now.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Now can you throw them in the middle of the week,
like during the day randomly like.

Speaker 6 (28:51):
Some Mattinee action like this, I would say you could
mix in what days they air. I would still want
to put all of them if you could, in primetime.
And it's some excitement around it. But for me, I
just I look at it and say I don't know
why they're so slow to adapt and adjust to this.
Maybe it's hesitation, you know, Maybe it's just they don't

(29:11):
want to give up what it has always been, the
history and tradition of college football and having bowl games
at that specific time of the season.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Maybe they just don't want to do it.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Like have you ever noticed the older you get and
you start to see the other side of things, like
you're not just the talent the player, and you start
to see how people work behind the scenes, and you're like, oh,
you don't want to do anything, Like oh, oh, you're
comfortable with your job, so if you make a decision,

(29:42):
you might actually get judged on how your decision performs,
how it plays out.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Like I'm not doing that. I'm comfortably situated at my face.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
They tell me what they want, I tell everybody under
me what they want, and I I can't lose my
job if I do that way. I think people are
afraid to take chances. But I gotta tell you, it
takes away from the total product of what you're getting
in the playoffs now other bowl games. It's a distraction

(30:14):
to what should be a focal point of the football season,
is you've made it to the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Here it is, it's going to take place.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
The focus are on these games, not we have the playoffs,
but we have bowl games on both sides.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
It just doesn't make sense. It should be the finale.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Here's a playoff game, and then two days later it's
you know, the minor Key Carcare Bowl, Like no nobody
cares d it Like nobody's like, you've just told us
who the best teams are and we're supposed to give
a rip about Toledo Tax.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
And those players are opting out.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I think they were, like there was like an upwards
of like to Q's point, I think it was like
ten to fifteen plus kids that are like the third
team that are opting out of playing.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
We'll think about it too, Like those games in order
to qualify, we're not talk about the payoffs. We're talking
about the other exhibition bull games. You just got to
win six games, okay, so that that helps you qualify
for it.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
And then at that point you know you're you're going.

Speaker 6 (31:14):
And facing off based on conference affiliations in that bowl.
What I don't get is why people don't sit there,
look at and go, Okay, the players aren't in a
great spot because there's a large portion that are opting out,
either to move on to another team or to move
on to the NFL. And in some cases, some kids
just aren't playing because they don't want it the risk
and they don't want to admit that, but you know
they'll kind of hide that under the guise of a

(31:35):
soft tissue injury something of those sorts. You have a
coaching staff sometimes that are having to move on. So
when that's the case, you know, you're putting them in
a tough spot because now that they're not coaching the
ball game, they're trying to pull kids for somewhere else.
It's just there's no need for it. There's no there's
no need for any of that right now at this point.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
So oh, here we go go.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
Go we got.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Un Here we go, big, big shout out to the
LB of LB's.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
Yeah, you know, you're you're part of my family, bro,
You're you're you're in my family.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
All right? There you go, there you go.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Shouts out to Manti Tale you know, LB of LB's
you know he should have went to LBU because he's
definitely one of us.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
You know, even though I like Notre Dame. Man, you
as like Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
I like, I looked at Notre Dame and I again.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
You were just going for the golden elmans uh.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Bro Penn State and Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
It was the in Florida State, Penn State, Notre Dame,
in Florida State. I love their uniforms to the highest
level of loving a uniform, like I grew up and
and Raise Ellers was like he was like the hero
of my area.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
And it was like, oh, man, Raise Raise is at
at Notre Dame. He's at Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
So I considered Notre Dame just because of you know,
Raiz Eller's was our he was our gold standard locally
and from the city. I didn't play in the city league,
but I went to school in the same area he
went to Oliver I grew up. I went to Manchester
and went to Columbus Traditional Academy, which is the North Side.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
He went to school on the North Side.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
So where I grew up the area I'm from because
you had Raiz Elers on that area. But where my
mom and dad grew up is where Curtis Martin grew up.
So considered Pitt So yes, I did consider Notre Dame.
Because of the relation of what Razellers was. No, it
wasn't even because of being a linebacker. I was a tailback.

(33:44):
I was a tail back.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Four was Penn State, Pitt Notre.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
Dame, Florida State in Miami, and then Miami went on probation.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Well, they ended up going on probation, so I didn't.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
And the reason I didn't go to Miami was because
if you remember Marlon Barnes, who was I believe ray
Lewis's roommate. He was a linebacker. He got, you know,
beat to death by a girl's boyfriend. And my mom
was like, you like girls too much. And I was like,
you're right. She's like, you're not going there. I'll beating

(34:18):
talk to the wrong person, like somebody to death. Yes,
look it up. I was like, they're going on probation.
Dudes is getting beat to death because they dealt with
somebody else's girl was sitting in the dorm room or
something something in an apartment dorm room something like that.
They found him in him and and the woman they
got beat to death. I believe that's awful. I was like, yeah,

(34:40):
I'm going for school and I'm going to play ball,
and I don't want to be caught up in a
situation where somebody come to beat me up because I
didn't even know I was talking to somebody else's girl.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
So I didn't. I didn't do that. You change your
ways for sure.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Then I got to the point I was like, I'm
playing linebacker. So it was like the Notre Dame, Penn State,
Florida State, and I ended up choosing Penn State because
well that's my parents could drive.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
To all the games. That was you know, that was
a lot that has a big deal and it was uh,
it was raise Elders, Raised Raise Elers. Then we ended
up Bettest. We ended up being team from Detroit and
bet Is.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
But bet Is meant toward me while I was in
high school. Yeah, there was a tremendous Notre Dame influence
on me.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
Did he tell you to keep doing calf raises?

Speaker 3 (35:32):
He did?

Speaker 5 (35:33):
Wasn't He was saying, like you need to them.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
But he said that calf raises were basically one of
the most most critical Uh, get strong calves.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
That's all.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
