And yeah, but he ain't fro.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
But but do you feel like every R and B
station radio host like doesn't know how to actually start
the segments that they.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Just yo only a certain demographic of him.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
You know, maybe may approach it that way, like big
boy you know who, he's part of our family, you
know he he definitely comes in pretty cool, like he
knows how to get a crack and you know, crack
a lacking.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, I mean like Jonas is intro.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
But they are dope. But they are If you worked
when you were in d C, did you get was
it a cluster where there was a bunch of other stations?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Is part of it? Absolutely?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, so I was.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
We were in there with all of them.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, they are smooth man like it is.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
We had Flex Flex was was our guy, main guy
in DC SO and not funk Master Flex like Flex
DC Flex so shouts out to my boy Flex.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
And they had l Soul too, Jonas.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Every once in a while you go stroll the hallways,
you know, say hello to everyone, make sure everybody.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Was good and all that stuff, and you roll past
L Zoul.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, when I was filling in last time on with
Petros on the blowtorch AM five seventy l a sports Uh,
Spencer Pratt was walking around the hallways. He was doing interviews.
Uh just started the LA mayoral debate last night, and uh,
you see all sorts of people just kind of roaming

(02:54):
the halls there. You know, a little cluster here at
this time of the morning. We don't get anybody at
the cockroaches and whims.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
When do you guys vote?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
By the way, next month, I think it is it
early June. I think, yeah, I gotta check. But you know, hey,
a lot of interesting points were made during that. During
that oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Well that's stuff went viral.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
Yeah yeah, I mean I got I got no dog
in the fight.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
But just watching I was like, oh, dang, these get
spicy over there.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
It did make me wonder with three candidates up there,
it was very clear that one of them probably shouldn't
have been there. Wow. Just felt like like they were
not performing up to the level of the other two.
So hey, yeah, have fun with that, everybody. And by
the way, at the University of Maryland Global Campus, you
can choose for more than sixty five graduate online degrees

(03:54):
and certificates including our NBA now with ten specializations, no
application feed through June first visit umg E du All right,
so this will mark, I believe the third time we've
heard what the plan is for Travis Hunter coming off
the injury and his rookie season that was cut short

(04:16):
last year. In Jacksonville. Here was the Jags GM James Gladstone,
who was on with Rich Eyesen explaining what they plan
on doing with Travis Hunter going into next season.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Are we done with the two way with him or not?

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Absolutely not. No, he is set to play both sides
of the ball. The piece that I think we can
expect to see is actually an uptick in.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
In corner usage.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
Right last year it was a higher volume, higher percentage
of wide receiver usage than it was corner. I think
we can expect to see that corner percentile and count go.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Up as we move forward.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
That's not to say anything impacts his availability.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
And usage on offense. It just means that that usage
will increase.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
All right, three hundred and twenty four offensive snaps to
one hundred and sixty two defensive snaps.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Yeah, it's gonna flip, it's.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Going that's gonna flip.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
And not only is it going to flip that one
hundred and sixty two is going to be like sixty.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
It's not going no, because.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Just think about that, Like you're you're playing seventeen games,
You're talking about one hundred and sixty snaps. You think
it's a lot. It's only ten snaps a game on offense. Yeah, yeah,
I don't think it's gonna go to sixty.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
I think they'll I think they'll flip. I think you
could see him in there for ten twelve snaps on
offense and but but let him become a Hall of
Fame cornerback.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
I don't really understand. I mean I understand.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
I know they gave up a lot to get them,
but let him play the position. In my opinion, he
most naturally was segue into the NFL at and then
let him develop their skills along the way.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
But like, I don't know why they.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Feel like they need to keep justifying or forcing the
two way spot, like, go be great at one and
then you can start working on the other. I've always
felt like the cornerback position was the more natural spot
for him.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Just watching his college tape, you know, he had all
these natural instincts.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
And the ability to kind of read past concepts and
quarterbacks and whether it was man or zone. It just
he's to me that that was where his highest end
is at.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
And I think we'd all agree.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
If he ends up putting on a gold jacket at
the end of his career as a cornerback, no one's.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Gonna care what they gave up for him. And honestly,
no one's gonna care that much how much he even
played offense.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
It feels like if he does it, if he doesn't
put on a gold jacket, we're going to sit there
and be like, it's because they tried to force him
two ways.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
They tried to force it.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
It feels like they're justifying what they gave up for him.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
They have to.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
And it's the right blue back glass though, but they
have to because that's what they sold to trade on.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
That's what they sold the pick on.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
But a great player at one position should be good enough.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I think you're right. I think that's the best concept
to go with. But you're selling hope. This is the
time for selling hope. If you're on a Rich Eisen show,
you know that's going to be a show that that
gets picked up. They're going to pick it up. They're
going to pick that sound bite up. People like us
are going to talk about it. They're going to discuss it.

(07:23):
This kid was Travis Hunter, was sold in college as
that type of player.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
It worked out. They want to They won.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
He won the Heisman a He's won of all time greats,
maybe one of the most polarizing Heisman Trophy winners in
the history of the the You know, can.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
I have a pause there and ask you this, because
part of the reason why you won the Heisman, it's
because he went the snapcounts, he went both ways?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Yeah, yeah, do you do.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
You feel like like they feel like they're defending it
because that's how I won the Heisman.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
That was the hype, that was the the cell.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
And why would you not continue to make that the
hype and make that the sale even if you have
no intentions of doing it. I'm not saying that that's
what they're going that would be what they're going to do,
but why, like, why put that to bid? Why put
that discussion to bid? If I'm the Jacksonville Jaguars, I'm
leaning into it. We're a small market team. I'm going

(08:22):
to take the value of what we traded away with
getting him, and I'm going to continue to build on
the hype train that was surrounding him. I mean, the
possibilities were endless until the injury took place. If there's
any trepidation about playing him both ways, it's what came
to Fruition last year. Outside of that, what else is there?

(08:45):
You know, he can be effective on both sides of
the ball. You know he can be a star Wars
and a face of the league if it pans out
the way that it's supposed to. Names like Dion Sanders,
his former coach, Champ Bailey, teammate Charles Woods, and these
are the guys that you saw able to do it
both ways at Red did punt returns and stuff like that.

(09:09):
You see special guys do special things, And I think
that there's an intriguing factor, more of an intriguing factor
of being able to market and sell what you're marketing
and sell when you have a player like that on
your team. So I don't have a problem with them
doing it, But I just don't believe that they're going
to risk I don't believe they're going to risk him

(09:31):
by playing him that much on one side or the
other of the ball for the sake of what to
be able to prove that the pick was the right pick,
the compensation that y'all gave up to get that pick
was the right compensation. I feel like they're trying to
justify it. But at the same time, you know, I
think that it's not the wrong way to approach it.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
It's not the wrong way.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
I just I don't understand why they can't just be
good with him being a great defensive back and then hey,
maybe when we get that figured out and he's solidified himself,
then you throw him over at wide receiver. Deon Sanders
I think had sixty catches in his career. It's not
like he was this two way player every time, and
it wasn't until late on his career.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
By the way, none of them work.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
But so then why are they trying to force this
and say, no, no, he's going to be a two
way player. He's absolutely going to be a two way player.
How about you just hey, he's great on one side
of the ball, and you know what, if we want
to throw in a special package for him here or
maybe have him return a kick or whatever, that I
could understand. It just feels like they're trying to get
all of it in one right from the jump and

(10:39):
the guy's already been injured.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
That I don't. I don't.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
It's it's an odd thing to me, but it does
feel like this all goes back to we give up
a certain amount for him to do two things. He's
going to do two things, so we can get the
return on our investment based on what we gave up
for him in the draft.

Speaker 5 (10:56):
Like I said, man, if they win a Super Bowl,
if they know he's just planned one way, I don't
think people are gonna be going back on with a second.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
He didn't play enough on offense this year. You know.
It's like I just.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
I don't know the transition to the NFL. And by
the way, I'm not saying Travis Hunter isn't capable. He's
obviously capable. But the problem is is there is a transition,
there's a learning curve, there's an adjustment, and it's hard
enough for one position, let alone too, and there's just
not enough hours in the day and the body of

(11:29):
the wear and tear that it takes on you. And look,
maybe even coming off a rookie season, you know where
you don't really get a break, you know.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, I'll tell you this.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
I'll say this, and I don't want to finish his
point for him, but I will say it's interesting if
you have a guy that is actually able to go
both ways and be that guy both ways at the
pro level, you would have to assume something's wrong, something

(12:05):
is wrong. It's actually exposing the fact that you have
a deficiency at the position, not not that he's that good.
Because we're talking about the pros. What's the percentage of
guys think it's less than a percentage, less of a
percent of guys that play the game and go pro

(12:26):
and play pro. So if you're talking about there's one
guy that belongs in the starting position on both sides
of the ball, both sides, then that could be more
damning to saying what type of what type of players
you have on your team. Somebody should be good enough
to be the starting quarter or somebody should be stuck

(12:48):
good enough to be the starting receiver.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
I mean to me, I think that that's more damn.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
If you really were to dissect it, that's where I
would the pros is way different than college. I'll say
that it is, and you can finish your point Q.
But I think the pros like it is way way
different than college. And by the way, the guys that
get the breaks, the guys that don't don't don't condition
as much because of all of the wear and tear

(13:14):
on their body and all the running that they're doing
during the course of a practice. Are what two positions
the corner the receiver. So it's not even like, oh,
I get to stand in one in one place and
not do anything this point you're constantly running. Those are
the two positions where you're constantly running. So I just

(13:36):
think it's interesting.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Man. No, I think you're right, and I just I
get I look at it.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
I just don't know that people are gonna care if
they have a certain success. But the best point you
made is the fact that you know it is a
job that he's trying to fill and wear two hats,
and typically you've got guys compete for the spots and
it's competitive and it's not gonna be the case. I mean,
I know the organization looks at it and feels like like, hey,
when we dress forty six on game day, we feel

(14:03):
like we're stealing two roster spots, like we can have
someone else up active because he can go both ways.
I just I don't foresee it working out the way
they think it's going to if he's gonna be playing
that much both ways. I think he's got to focus
on one play play cornerback and then sprinkle in on
offense because that's the easiest way of doing it. I

(14:25):
think it's harder to do it the other way around,
like the way they were trying to do it last year.
To me, like it just it doesn't work that way.
Like I think as a defense, you'd like to have
continuity of who's out.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
There with you.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
I know, you change, you know, from Nickel and Dime
and Big Nickel, et cetera. But like the reality is,
you're out there with your boys and you're you know,
you're on that side of the ball throughout the course
of the week preparing and have a very specific, consistent
manner of which you're going about doing it.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
And so you need that guy there. And I think.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Offensively, that's the group where you change up a lot
more of what you do with person.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
So why'd I give him more of a break.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
When I give him those ten twelve snaps per game
on offense? But let him solely be that guy on
defense to figure out all the ways he can help
out your offense.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
It's just it didn't make sense how they were doing
it last year.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
If this is the road they want to go on,
I mean, if he was just a cornerback or just
a receiver, would they have drafted him as high as
they did or given up as much as they did.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
It's justified to say you could.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
You could justify that he's that talented, he's that gifted,
and I don't think there's any problem with it.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
I think the problem with.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
It is that that's what the bill of goods was
being sold with him in his camp and coming out
and it's sold.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
It's stuck with the Jacksonville Jaguars. They saw the.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Potential of it, they saw what it could be for.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Them, and they jumped at it.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
So the answer to your question is it wouldn't be
a problem if they just came out and said, Travis
Hunter is going to play one side of the ball.
We're going to concentrate on him being all the things
that we said, there would be no problem with it.
But the fact that they continue to tinker with and

(16:20):
mess around with and play around with the idea and
romanticize the fact that he could be a legit two
way player. It has never happened in the National Football League,
and I will venture to say it most likely will
never happen in the National Football League. This could be

(16:41):
potentially as close as we've ever gotten to a guy
being considered to be a legitimate two way player, a
two way starter, a starter on both sides of the
ball on the depth chart. That would be crazy. It
would be crazy, and I don't see that ever happening
national Football League. Which is funny because football used to

(17:03):
be an iron man sport and I don't know if
people realize this, but guys actually went both ways at
some point in time historically in the game. So that's that's,
you know, kind of a thing iron man football. But
these days modern day football ain't happening. And all love,
all respect, good luck to to Travis Hunter, but you're

(17:26):
not No one is going to be that person at
the National Football League level. I feel confident in making
that that, you know, that proclamation, it ain't gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Did Charles Woodson did he just return kicks or did
he play offense as well? Too?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
He played some offense he played some offensive. He played
some offense. He played a lot of offense and return
punts in college. He was he was a multi I
mean he was a multi position player. Champ Bailey was
a multi position player, played some offense and at the
league level two. But again, he didn't play. Woodson didn't

(18:02):
do as far as offense. I don't think he did
any of it at the NFL. Like he returned some kicks.
I think he might have got in maybe a few
times on offense. But again it's not there's a difference
between putting a guy in and saying he can stretch
the field out, or he can give us an extra

(18:22):
weapon in this package, in this set versus you come
out first drive of the game, or consistently this guy
is out there as a main call to your your
unit on offense.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Nobody's ever done that. Nobody's ever done that.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Woodson two catches for twenty seven yards in his career.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Well there you go.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
So seemed like it worked out and they just stuck
him on one side of the ball.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Hall of Famer. Oh yeah, hall of famer.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
That's what I'm saying. Man, if he puts on a
gold jacket by the end of it. If they won
a Super Bowl, no one's going to question the tacks.
And by the way, you should question your tactics though,
because if you're ever forty, you're still working, still competing,
but your energy stokes to drop, no weight to start
and stick. It's not a dissimand problem.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Guys.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
That's biology. Doesn't mean you have to accept it. That's
why I take M drive every day.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Go to M drive fromen dot com. M drive for
men who show up.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
By the way, speaking of the heisman, Levar's dog just
gave him the heisman. Wait, I want to know that
he wanted I can see on camera. I wanted a
hu wanted nothing to do with you. And then he
and then he blew hole in my face.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Man like, oh, it's so bad. It's so bad.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
What kind of diet you got him on? What kind
of food you get?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Well?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Every once in a while, will giving like if I
cook us steaks, I get him mistake y'.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
He had a steak yesterday. Give it.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
You get a raw you cook it?

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Oh raw, it's raw dog?

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Oh God, I mean, I know, I know you listen
to me do sports talk radio.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Sticks, but I guess he didn't like this topic.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
By the way, do you really get it? Like you
could actually throw up with with the.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
With all you oh what he just did? Just as rancid,
very bad.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Because I think people think that you're embellishing when you
when you get sick like that. But I've seen you,
not seen you in studio actually.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Get like almost like ready to go, like got to
run to the to the trash can.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Shit. Uh.

Speaker 2 (20:32):

Yeah whatever, I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
You know, she's uh, she's out about well.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
She's the drawing card, right, They got to have her there,
make sure that people show up for them.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Can I ask a random question? Uh? Oh, what would
you say?

Speaker 5 (22:54):
Is the difference between being like cross eyed lazy eye?
Like like they're two completely different things, right.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Very I'm not I'm not joining into this common Can
I throw a third in there?

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Yeah? Go ahead, walleye. It's like where one's like looking off.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
One's looking at you at the wall.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Yeah. Oh god, it's also a very good fish. But
I could see that. I can see that the Walleye
is the one that's most distracting.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
Oh god, is it fair enough to say because I
don't know which one to look at?

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I'm not doing this. I will not I will not
do this. I mean, I don't know why Brady did
this questions. I don't know. Man, I'm not touching it
waiting for me to say something.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
If you're not going to say anything, you know, you
deal with this.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
That was my team. I love them to death. You're
not going to.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Be like whoa whoa, whoa whoa about anything you.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Deal I know, I deal with this in traffic all
the time. Somebody leaves them Yeah, okay, yeah, deal with
this in traffic all the time. Somebody leaves their blinker
on for miles and you're like, what are you planning
on doing? And then you're it's the same thing. It's
the human version of having your blinker all the time. Hey,

(24:15):
are you turning left? Or are you going? What are
we doing?

Speaker 1 (24:19):
It?

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Really is it really is true.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
I'm telling you that is.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
That is the greatest antology you have ever made. And
it's so true.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Hey, what's the date on Soresby?

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Let's do that, you know, Let's let's side out of
that one. Just walleye. Let's walleye to that one.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
Ye, let's go to actually take that turn? All right?

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Well, before we do that, if you do have a Walleye,
check us out on YouTube because search two pros FSR
within YouTube, hit the subscribe button and after you've done that,
tap the thumbs up icon and comming away whether you
agree or disagree, let us know what you think. Again,
just search two proSP sr on YouTube and subscribe.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
All right, so Brendan Soresby, here's the very latest. The
state gaming regulators have launched investigations into Soresby's betting activity,
so they're going to look into this and try and
see exactly what was going on there. This is the
Indiana Gaming Commission and the Ohio Casino Control Commission, So

(25:26):
the IGC and the OCCC are in are doing the investigations.
The Kentucky horse Racing and Gaming told ESPN that it
is aware of the case and is working with the NCAA,
which opened its own investigation into Soresby's alleged betting and
is reviewing the situation with its licenses. And I don't
remember if we had brought this up, but I know

(25:47):
that this has been pointed out briefly and as far
as an example of how this could be handled. But
Hunter Deckers was an Iowa state quarterback who bet on
cyclone games and he was deemed ineligible. We know based

(26:08):
on the reporting that Brendan Soresby when he was at
Indiana bet on IU games. It seems like the answer
is pretty clear here where this is gonna head. And
I know that he's you know, going to you know
and getting treatment and all that. I think that that's
more because he's probably looking at this going I'm not

(26:31):
coming back to college. This is all about the next level,
as as Brady had pointed out, whether he goes, you know,
to the NFL, the supplemental draft, whatever, I think the
the door is closed on college. I think this is
all about the future, and I think that's sort of
what his planning is right now as opposed to trying

(26:51):
to get back to Texas Tech.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
So just to remind people, you hired Jeffrey Kessler, who.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
Is one of the four known experts you know, in
that space in regards to defending players in these situations.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
So he's got the best doing it with him.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
However, if you go back to that initial statement, I
mean they they almost looked at the situation and kind
of said, yeah, we're throwing a hail Mary. But you know,
he mentioned the supplementl Draft because that's most likely where
he'll end up going. I mean, Brendan Sorzby has the
ability to play at the next level. I would not

(27:28):
be shocked if someone at the high end, maybe did
you know, took a second round pick on him, it's
more likely he'd go third, fourth, fifth, I think because
of how that system works.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
But that's kind of the value.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
And I gotta be honest with you too, I don't
know that it's the worst thing for him, outside of
saying if he would have went back to Texas Tech,
not only would have he earn the five million that
who was reportedly slated to make, but he also could
have leaped frog or jumped himself into that first round conversation.
Now I'm not saying one who looked at him as
saying he was going to be a first round guy.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
I think he would be in that conversation.

Speaker 5 (28:05):
But I think even with a great year at Texas Tech,
he might have been somewhere, you know, high end, second round.
And that's more how I saw his tape, his game
from what he did this past year and kind of projecting.
So that's how I foresee that playing out. But that's
what this is about, as you touched on, is him

(28:25):
looking like he's getting rehabilitated to be able to then
make the case that hey, I'm a new man, I'm fixed.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
This isn't going to be a problem moving forward.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
This is in my past and that's why you should
be able to take me and not have any concerns
about the NFL then punishing as well since he you know,
hasn't been played there, or allowing any other potential future
employer to hold that against him.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
So Soresby gets into a situation with gambling and checks
into rehab. Rehab is you investigating yourself, getting to know
your self, figuring out a solution to where you came
up short? Seems like to me the story is now

(29:08):
morphing and developing into the gaming. The gaming industry has
to put themselves in rehab and check what it is
that's going on and what they have going on within
the parameters of sports betting. You got multiple state gaming
regulators they're launching investigations. To me, that is it's trying

(29:31):
to stay faced, just like swordsby checking into rehab. This
is for optics. You know, I was watching the NBA.
We watched the NBA games. Do you realize every break
there's a gambling commercial, right, every single break? And you
know who's on those? I saw Big X. The plug

(29:52):
was Little X to plug.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
On on the commercial, right, xtra plug.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Yeah, because he's the little du dude. That's talking to
you about gambling. But he's Big X the Plug, the rapper, right,
but he's Little X as the character on on the commercial.
So he's little dude. They're talking to him. It's like
a play. It's it's it's like a joke, right, like yeah,
well watch a commercial break because it's every single one.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Big X the plug names.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
I mean y'are acting like we haven't said that. He's yeah, yeah,
every yeah, come on, Jonas, put it together. We're gonna
get there.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Yeah. He likes here, go right here, here, it is
right here. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
So that's the point he built is his brand off
of being the biggest and the largest, he's he's Little
X the Plug on the gambling commercials. Anyways, the point
is they are making they're gamifying gambling. They're making gambling
a younger person's deal. They are angling these younger people

(31:13):
and they're going for it and they are accepting it.
When you see a situation like this take place, the moment,
like I said before, the moment you know that something's
going on, you gotta address it. So while we can
look at what Swordsby has done, there will be more.

(31:34):
There has been guys in the past. You know that
everybody wants to bring up the Iowa state quarterback as
the president of the gambling and how he got a
lifetime ban. I get that, but this is really you
got to take inventory on one the gambling companies and

(31:56):
two the universities. Cincinnati should have. Styx is blowing it up.
I mean, he is on fire right now. You got
to take into consideration if a university compliance wise, was
aware of any of their players partaking in any type

(32:18):
of activities like this, there should have been an immediate response,
in an immediate handling of the situation, and that did
not happen.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
I mean, Cincinnati has has got to get some of
the some of the heat here because it feels like
Cincinnati either did know or should have known while when
this was going on.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
There continues to be multiple reports that they knew and
he still play it.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
That's that's That's fine, guys, That's fine. But that doesn't
mean I'm not trying.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
I'm not trying to designerate him. I'm not trying to
like separate him from accountability. That is not what I'm
doing at all. All I'm saying is is that there
needs to be accountability on on that side of it
as well. That's that's all I'm saying. Like, if you
are on.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
You see like that.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Man, Let you see, I'm saying any any university, any
online sports betting company, that's that's all.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Of you see.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
That's a great campus, Cincinnati. Those fans get after it too,
they do.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
You want fans who want.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
To get after it, those bear Cats. And then they
got one of the coolest chances to I love everything
about it down that.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
It's a cool spot.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
You think there's some tough dudes. They punch horses out
and everything.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
You think, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
They will be playing around.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Art Long Long.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Punch police horse.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Before Philly there was Art Long punch the police.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
That was when the Cincinnati Beer Cut basketball team was.
They had players that was going at the women too.
They didn't just punch horses, they did it to everybody.
I'm just saying, Hey, they would almost went to Cincinnati
to play basketball out here. Man Kenya Martin was one
of my favorite players ever ever.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Andy and Andy Furman's told me some stories about Cincinnati
basketball back then. That was in wild place.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Man In.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Getting it in. Oh, Bob Huggins, Bobby Huggins.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
He might have been there punching the horse out with him. That,
by the way, that was a man's man right there, Huggers.

we go.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
Yeah, I see.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
I'm trying to tell you, Brady, it's going to be
people in media that think it's funny.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
That's a mention though that's not a TMZ story.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Mentions and mentions lead to more and more stories. It's
interest and you know what's funny. I was looking at
like I was looking at our timeline and I saw
the TMZ post.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
I happened to see the TMZ posts. Bruh.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Look at how quickly the the.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Like views of it are going.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Anything that has it, like they got one where the
Patriot Way. They they got the old school Patriot logo
and Diana Rasini snapping the ball Mirabel did they still
have on Patriot uniform?

Speaker 3 (36:26):
I mean the amount of attention.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
Each each post, like you could be a nobody posting
about it.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
They and it's still.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Getting They rebranded the Titanic.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
Where you've got Verabel at the front of the boat
holding Rasini and so yeah, they rebranded.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
It's too easy, it's too really, hey, attention to detail.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Man.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
At least they're not lazy.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
They sure are quick though, aren't they. Yeah? God Lee.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
By the way, the University of Maryland Global camps. You
can choose for more than sixty five graduate online degrees
and certificates, including our MBA now with ten specializations. No
application fee through June first is at UMGC DOT E
d U. All Right, So Russell Wilson was talking with
the New York Post, and there's been you know, apparently

(37:18):
he had a good meeting and talk with the New
York Jets. There's been a thought that he could be
brought in to be Geno Smith's backup in New York.
Funny how things have turned all the way around to
where Russell's the starter. Geno was his backup in Seattle.
But it was Geno Smith's recommendation that maybe Russ would
be a good backup with the New York Jets. So

(37:39):
there's that. There's also been some speculation about a CBS
gig as well too, that could be on the table
for us. So he spoke with the New York Post
yesterday about what his plan is and which way he's
going to decide his future.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
Well, it's great there.

Speaker 9 (37:54):
You know, they offered me, and I'm trying to figure
out what's the next best fit anything to do and
all that, and just you know, I still know I
can play ball and do that at a high level.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
But also, you know, I think, you know, you know,
an opportunity to do TV twos. Great, so we'll want
to see what happens.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
He should play one more go?

Speaker 5 (38:13):
Yeah, you could, you can always play, I mean, excuse me.
You can always go back to TV. You can't always play.
So he should try to exhaust all efforts to go
play find that opportunity, especially if he's talking like that.
If he still thinks he can play, he should go play.
You know, the circumstances when I was towards the end,
you know, I had issues from a you know, a

(38:34):
back injury with some other things. I didn't feel like
I was one hundred percent, and I was still waffling,
still signing a contract that I didn't I didn't necessarily
love the terms of the contract, you know, given the
stipulations if I was to get injured, and how I
get injured in all those.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Things, but like, I still wanted to keep chasing it.

Speaker 5 (38:51):
Until I got to a point where I realized, Man,
some of this stuff is a really good opportunity. And
so I don't think he sounds like he's to that point.
And so keep going, man like, keep going, keep chasing
after that stuff.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
I'm I'm hey, some people go kicking and screaming. Some
people go when they feel like going. I mean, if
you can continue to play and you want to play.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Play, who's got a beef? I have no beef with it.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
I know I've seen him at that met gala with
his wife and and that was it just seems like
maybe he's just you know, that full transition could have
taken taken hold man like he is all the way
Hollywood with how he does things. I mean, he's really aware.
So oh you gotta check it out. I haven't got

(39:42):
to check it. Oh you gotta check.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
It out.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
Where he's like the yellow get up.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
But where they're posing. Did you see the video of
them taking like pictures on the on the like the
red carpet where everybody like gets there. Yeah, I mean, bro,
I wouldn't I wouldn't have thought he was a quarter
back or NFL player like different, different industry, different categories.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
See his appearance with the Savannah Bananas.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
Yeah I did, Yeah I did.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
They say than that they looked like us.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
They looked like he had the bussy calves.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
He looked good in yellow.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Yeah break, I'm glad. I'm glad.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
They count down started when you said that, goud all right,
I don't want to touch that

Speaker 2 (40:28):
The mustard jar
