Speaker 2 (00:30):
Now let's get this party started.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Go ahead, man.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Introduce the show.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Because I'll get lost in it.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
I know.

Speaker 6 (00:43):
You know, it's very few things that make me, like,
have recall, man.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
And that song, like, makes me have recall.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I like it.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
I like it. I think the Rams listened to that
on a loop.

Speaker 7 (00:57):
Yeah, that was probably the pop-up song before the game,
before they went out, you know?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Hey, let me tell you something. I bet you they
mixed that in there if they did have one.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
I bet you they had a little bit of hype
music up in there, but I bet you they had
that moment. That is the perfect slow motion music right there.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
You got to put it in slow motion.

Speaker 6 (01:21):
You know, when Brady's standing under center and, you know,
he's got his top hand tickling his center while he's
pointing to the linebacker and looking and screaming the call
out and stuff like that, you know, in slow motion, though.
Those are the meaningful moments, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeah. That's weird.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Sorry. Well, it is two pros and a cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
What did y'all do with that top hand? What did
y'all do with that top hand, Brady Quinn?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Just saying.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
We received the snap.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
When you went under center.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
That's what we did.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, you did. We received the snap. Get you a
whole handful of ball.

Speaker 5 (02:04):

(02:24):
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you. We will
be taking you all the way up until 9 a.m.
Eastern time, 6 o'clock Pacific. And if you are listening
on the podcast, we appreciate you doing so. It seems
like Aaron Rodgers has turned into the can man. He's
got thoughts on everything this offseason. He had thoughts on Fauci.
He had thoughts on Trump recently. He had thoughts on,

(02:48):
I mean, you name it. He also had thoughts on
on his former head coach, Matt LaFleur. When it came
to Matt LaFleur making a comment about Jordan Love being
better at the line of scrimmage than Aaron Rodgers earlier
this offseason, Rodgers was on radio in Wisconsin with Wild

(03:09):
and Tausch and had this response on the Matt LaFleur comments.

Speaker 8 (03:14):
He's probably still mad I changed too many of his plays.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (03:22):
Big statement when you had a guy win back-to-back MVPs.
I guess I wasn't doing too much at the LOS.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
That's a clown, man.

Speaker 8 (03:31):
He says some things from time to time that are funny.
Then he's like, oh, maybe I shouldn't have said that.
He's backing up his quarterback. I'm sure J-Lo is real
good in the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
So, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
I don't know where we're at. I thought they were
on good terms. I thought they were on good terms.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
Well, again, I think if you... Here's the whole thing.
If you understood that deep-seated inside, whatever the good terms are,
Matt LaFleur was part of the group that drafted his replacement.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Right?

Speaker 7 (04:06):
And they've had success together, more success than he's had
with Jordan Love.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
And I.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
I would feel like hearing that too, I would not
be able to take that with any seriousness at all.
Knowing what Rodgers accomplished with him, knowing he had a
guy as a first ballot Hall of Famer, and not
saying that Jordan Love couldn't become that, but he's not
that now, and I wouldn't put him anywhere close to
that conversation now, but he's trying to pump up his.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Quarterback and get him ready for the season.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
I mean, they feel like they've got a talented guy
who can get them to a Super Bowl, otherwise you
wouldn't have replaced Rodgers with him when you did.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
But I think that that deep-seated decision.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
By the front office, Brian Gutkiewicz, by Matt LaFleur, is
always going to live there. Because I think Aaron Rodgers
thought that organization, after going through what they went through
with Favre and replacing Favre with Rodgers, would have learned
from that lesson and would have gotten to the point
where they would allow Aaron Rodgers to call his career
on his own terms.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
And that wasn't the case. So that's the tough part.

Speaker 7 (05:10):
And I think the other the other tough part to
all that, too, is like they didn't draft the first
round wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
When they had him. Right.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
Like as soon as he leaves, they draft Matthew Golden
in the first round. Where was this when Rogers was there?
You know, where was trying to get him more help
towards the end of his career when he was there?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
But philosophically speaking, they are drastically different.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
If you look at what Matt LaFleur wants to do,
and he comes from that Kyle Shanahan coaching tree, and
they want to get all sorts of different pre-snap movement shifts, motion,
things that will give them a predictable look from the
defense that they can then post-snap, get better angles in
the run game, get defenders in positions.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Where they can exploit that. You know, Rodgers is entirely different.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
Like the hard thing for me to listen to this
and go, all right, like Matt LaFleur, he's coaching Jordan Love.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
He's coached Rodgers. He must be right here.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
The way the offense operates when Rodgers is a quarterback
is entirely different. Like his career, you could say, next
to Peyton Manning has been made off of being at
the line of scrimmage and and putting his team in
the right play, making adjustments. I mean, the downfield screens
that he used to kind of touch his hip or

(06:26):
do a little signal about his hip, that became so
prevalent in Green Bay that teams became aware of it,
and they did the best they can to try to
get more OPI calls called because he did it so often,
and he did it so much. And that's all stuff
he's doing at the line of scrimmage pre-snap based on
what he sees. There's countless things, changing routes, changing protections,

(06:47):
I mean, I just, there is no validity to what
Matt LaFleur is saying. To me, it's all about him
just pumping up Jordan Love for the season, but he
can't honestly believe that when he says it.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
I'm going to start here. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Culturally speaking, okay, the only way you could use clown
towards somebody else is if you are saying it like
to your kids, like stop clowning around, like get serious, dah, dah, dah, this, that,
and the other. Otherwise, if you call somebody a clown,
it's kind of like lightweight fighting words.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
It's one of my favorite terms ever. I love it.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Cause, cause it's meant to be insulting.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
All right. Like, it's, it's like you, you're a, you know,
you're a clown, bro.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
You know that clown emoji, the clown emoji gets me
every time.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
I think it's so disrespectful. It's so it's.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Such a disrespectful way to explain someone. So I feel
like Aaron Rodgers was going for shade when he said
he's such a clown. Now, it was a sunning of
some regards as well because of the way he said
it in such a relaxed and Aaron Rodgers-esque way.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
It's like.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
why even listen to them? But it just really struck
me fellas as that whole, you know, like when you
have that, that one is, if it's an ex wife,
if it's an ex girlfriend, you know, for some of
you out there, ex boyfriend, and you're trying to overcompensate
with what you parted ways with and what you're currently

(08:32):
dealing with. And you're sitting there and everybody's sitting there like, man,
but that ain't her. man, but you did all right,
but man, you didn't outdo the X is what I'm
getting at. And so you find yourself overcompensating. I've always

(08:53):
felt like if you have to do what Matt LaFleur
just did to lead to Aaron Rodgers even having the
time to make, to address what he said, something ain't right.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Something is not all the way right because there would
be no real reason at this point in time. I mean,
you got to think about it. Aaron Rodgers is now
two teams removed from the Green Bay Packers.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Two.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
And like what? This is year four that he's away
from them. There's no reason to bring up Aaron Rodgers
in a comparison for a guy that has been your
starter for a little bit of time. All you're doing
is trying to overcompensate. And for what it's worth, my

(09:47):
conclusion would tend to fall down. You know, at times
I've had moments where I looked at Aaron Rodgers and,
you know, maybe I didn't agree with how he handled
things or what he said or, you know, maybe it's personality,
but on this one, I stand with Aaron Rogers.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
I think it was a clown move.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
I think it was, it sounded, made him sound like
made the floor sound like a corn ball.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
And, you know, just, it is what it is.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
And I feel like, you know, we're getting to the
point now, just like with, you know, some of the
things that have taken place in media. and the hires
that took place in media because of the sign of
the times and the climate of the social climates of
what's going on culturally and all those things, there may
come a time where the hipster, the young, the young dude, like, Oh,

(10:38):
this is a young man's game to coach. Like there
may become a time where that, that trend comes to
an end and you stop seeing guys on the sideline
with Lulu lemon on and, you know, product glasses and
stuff like that. And, You know, girlfriends that are smoke
shows that that find their.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Way into social media. And this is his girlfriend or
this is his wife.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
There may come a time where we actually start hiring
older coaches again, you know, make older coaches great again.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Yeah, could happen.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Start with Belichick, you know, I mean him.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Let's not get carried away. Let's not get carried away.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
You're going to get a good win now. This might
be the most important question that you guys are asked
all day today. All right. So I've got a game
I want to play with you.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
All right.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
You have three choices. Most offensive term of these three. Actually,
how about you just stack them? All right. Stack them
offensive to least offensive when it comes to these three terms.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
All right.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
The terms are clown, tool, and douche. Where would you,
least offensive, most offensive, how would you rank those?

Speaker 7 (12:03):
I mean, I feel like this all really depends upon
how you view clowns. You know, clowns kind of freak
me out, to be honest with you.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
I'm not sure why. I just, I feel like the
individuals who want to do all that and put all.

Speaker 7 (12:15):
That stuff on and dress up like a clown, there
is a disconnect mentally. Yeah, it's a disconnect mentally for me.
So that always freaks me out. But I think it's
the funniest because I do think they can be funny.
And the whole situation is kind of funny. So that
one's like, all right, clown. It's like, all right, that's
not that offensive. I actually feel like douche used to

(12:39):
be overused. Now it's not used enough. But given the
actual origin of what it is, rather more serious. So
I would say that's somewhere in the middle.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
And if.

Speaker 7 (12:49):
If you call me a tool, I feel like that
just comes off a bit more offensive.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
I'm with you, man.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Being a guy who, damn, I do a little bit of.

Speaker 7 (12:58):
Carpentry, a little bit of landscaping, other things out, and
understanding how important my tools are to me, especially when
we're talking about tools from Home Depot, I take great
offense to that.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
So if you're going to go.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
Ahead and say I get used, I'm basically a tool,
that offends me the most of anything you could have said.

Speaker 6 (13:20):
I think clown, you're trying to fight somebody. I think
if you call somebody a clown in their face, it's
now time for us to lock up. There's no more
words that need to be used. So where that ranks
in terms of how offensive, I don't know. But I

(13:40):
just think that once you get to the point of
where the conversation leads to, like, bro, you sound like
a clown.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Like, you're a clown.

Speaker 6 (13:48):
You're basically saying, like, I've now let you know that
I have zero respect for you. Now, in terms of tool,
I think tool is a cultural word.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
I don't think that that really translates in my community.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (14:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
I think if somebody called me handy, if you hit
me with a tool like you're a tool, like I'd
be like.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
You're a freaking cornball and you're a clown.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
LaVar, you've never wrapped your hands around a crescent wrench?

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Yeah. All I'm saying is it doesn't really... I think.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
You said a lot by not answering that.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
It does not touch.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
A crescent wrench.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
A ball peen hammer?

Speaker 4 (14:31):
You know.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
I come from a family of carpenters and builders.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
But you just don't do it.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
I understand. I'm just not. Tool doesn't really like. Tool
is kind of. I think it's cultural.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Well, now I know what I can call you every
day then if it won't offend you.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
You can call me a tool.

Speaker 6 (14:51):
And if you understand the origins of the other one,
I don't even get comfortable saying the word because of
what the origin of it is. And if you understand
the origin of it and somebody calls you that, It's
kind of like, I'd rather you call me a P word,
like call me like you're acting like a P word,

(15:13):
you know, versus versus using the thing that cleans it.
And I'm just saying, and generally speaking. When that comes
into play, it's probably because you're a tad bit funky
and not sanitary. There's something bad about having to use one.

(15:33):
So I would have to go with unequivocally douche being
the worst, most offensive one of them all.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
I can see that. I can see that if you
don't actually work with any tools. I can definitely see that.
If you have no carpentry experience or work with tourists,
I can see that.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
I am not handy. I am not a handy dude.
I will say that.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
We've come to that conclusion over the years.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
I'm not.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
Dang.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
I'm not offended.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
I'll be honest with you. I think clown is hilarious.
When I hear somebody call somebody a clown, I laugh.
When I see the clown emoji, I laugh. When somebody posts.
A clown tweet or makes a comment on Twitter and
the first response is the clown putting on clown makeup.
I think it's I think it's hilarious. I don't find

(16:22):
that offensive at all. I think I really do think
tool is.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
In a black.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
Go go use it in a black barbershop. Like get
into a debate. Go into a black barbershop.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Like act like you're getting your hair cut. Get into
like a sports discussion.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (16:39):
And then call somebody who's talking trash about the situation.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Call them a clown and see what happens. See what happens.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
So you could call them a tool and nothing happens
is what you're saying.

Speaker 6 (16:52):
If they would laugh at you, like how you said,
like you laugh at clown.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
That's what I'm saying. I think this is cultural.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
If you grew up with like watching scary movies, was it.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Is it it?

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Is that the one with the clown?

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Oh, yeah, it.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Like, if it scares you, that might hit you a
different way. You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 (17:10):
The guy, Tim Curry, who played it, just passed away recently.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
Yeah, he did.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
I just I just go ahead and finish your list, Jonas.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Well, I just I think I think tools probably the
more offensive douche feel.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
Douche feels like if somebody calls you that you're more
likely to get called that. And in my opinion, from
somebody who you may have broken up with or broken
their heart. Like, that's more of a swipe at you
from that side. And then clown's just hilarious. I don't
find it offensive at all. I actually think it's entertaining.

(17:48):
One of my good buddies who listens to the podcast
right now, his picture in my phone when he texts
me is a clown emoji. So I think it's hilarious. So, yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
I just think there's something to be said. You're using
emojis as your example. Do they have tool emojis?

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Yes or no?

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
There's a wrench, hammer, hammer, wrench.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Do they have clown emojis?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
The real question is, does a plunger count as a tool?
I think it does.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
But it might be debatable, and that might be the
most offensive emoji you could use for calling someone a twit.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
That is true. I'm just trying to tell you. By
the way, have you seen those shotgun emojis or those
shotgun plungers? Like, you seen those ones in the hardware store?
I don't know if Home Depot has them, but if
you go there, there's a shotgun plunger that you can get.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
It's really awesome.

Speaker 6 (18:39):
All I'm trying to tell you is they do not
have a douche emoji, and there's a reason why they
do not have a douche emoji. And, in fact, if
you are a douchebag, you won't want to listen to
what I got to tell you right now because I
respect things.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
And you know what? If you respect a pickup that's
built to.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
Get the job done without making a fuss, you're going
to want to get a Nissan Frontier because it's built
for the work week and it's ready for you to
load up the tailgate and be a good person on
the weekend, not a D-bag or a tool or even
a clown.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
All right?

Speaker 6 (19:12):
Make sure you're doing it the right way. You know,
with the 2026 Nissan Frontier.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
I mean, listen, Brady knows this about me. What's my
favorite Spanish word? My favorite Spanish word. You've got to
use it.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Payaso. Oh, payaso. Yeah. Payaso.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
That's clown in Spanish, their bar. So if you hear that.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
By the way, his son calls me that now. I'm like, Andy,
this is not good.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
I could actually label that something else if y'all really
wanted me to, but I'm going to leave that one alone.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
I don't know where you're going with that.

Speaker 7 (19:43):
I feel like it's more offensive that you allow your
son to call you a ghost I'm looking at it
like Hey dude, I know your dad Hasn't got his
butt kicked in a while But I.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Was like, you sure will So you gotta be careful now.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
Hey, by the way, I went to my first back
to school night Last night Yeah, I didn't call him
a fart box I went to my first back to
school night Last night Did they serve booze at your
back to school nights? Is that normal?

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Aren't you going to like a Catholic or a Christian school?

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yes, I walk in there. They've got the game on.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
They serve booze?

Speaker 5 (20:13):
They got the game on and they got beer.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
And wine served.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
They broke out that communion.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
I swear to God.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
They broke out that communion juice. Transferring my kids there.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
I swear to God. I walked in there. I'm like,
what is happening here? This is back to school. Do
they need volunteers? We walked out of the classroom after
we were done and a guy had a stack of
plastic cups up. He was ripped. I'm like, this is
a Catholic church. What are we doing? Mommy, Daddy can't
drive us home.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
And while we're speaking of derogatory terms and Jonas's favorite,
I think the most offensive terminology would be the terms
that Jonas uses when we're off air, by the way.
In between breaks, those terms like the closet, you know,
stuff like that. If we were to use the whole thing,

(21:00):
those are offensive terms.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
I mean, crazy offensive terms.

Speaker 6 (21:06):
But y'all won't get into the nitty-gritty of offensive terms.
Y'all want to keep it PG. We're an adult show, apparently.
We're explicit. There you go.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
I know this. Here on Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe, there is something that deserves your respect, and
it's going to get your respect. It's the return of
Quinn's Wins, and it's yours right here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Two Pros.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Two pros and a cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio.
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up a little over 15 minutes from now.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
We are going to spin the wheel. It's the return
of Ray Ray's roulette, and it's yours right here on
Fox Sports Radio. Before we get to another edition of
Quinn's Wins, though, a reminder that it's time to make
the budget work for you with pricing built for pros.
Maximize savings on the products you purchase the most and
save more when you buy items in bulk. Prices that

(22:54):
work as hard as you do brought to you by
The Home Depot.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
I'm a winner.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Listen up.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Winning cures all illnesses. It really does.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
I'm going to win. It's Quinn's wins.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
All right.

Speaker 7 (23:09):
Week two of Quinn's wins. Let's recap week one quickly,
which did not go well. The first couple of plays
of the week were over unders for the Colorado Georgia
tech game. Bet the over, expecting Colorado to score a
lot of points. However, Colorado's developed a run game in
some defense, which is a shock to most, maybe even
Georgia Tech for that matter.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
But that game hit the under. And then UAB and
Illinois bet the over, or excuse me, the under on.

Speaker 7 (23:33):
That one, expecting Illinois to put up a little better
fight on defense against the UAB offense that, well, maybe
had some things to prove.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
However, that one hit the over. So 0-2 there.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
The Apple Cup relaying the points with Washington State. They
took care of business. However, they did not cover the
rather large spread, some offensive line issues, but DeMond Williams Jr.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Is special. That is definitely a guy to keep an
eye on moving forward. Clemson LSU.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Well.

Speaker 7 (24:01):
Lane Kiffin may have ended Tabo's tenure at Clemson, or
at least the start of it.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
He surely did.

Speaker 7 (24:06):
Chris Vazinas, their quarterback at Clemson, his tenure there so far.
So we'll see what happens at that Clemson quarterback spot.
But we took the 10 points. That was over probably
in the first quarter. Notre Dame, of course, good old faithful,
the only winner covering the 20.5-point spread versus Wisconsin.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
They covered that easily over a touchdown. And then Florida State,
Ole Miss. It was a push.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
And for anyone who watched that game, well, that's about
what it deserved after an hour and a half delay
for a power outage. That was in week one of
college football. I don't know what is, but here are
your week two picks.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
And I'll start off. With a game in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Speaker 7 (24:47):
Yes, that is the home of the Cowboys for Oklahoma State,
who were upset by Tulsa last week. And I said
this before when we recapped earlier in the week. Probably
more of an indication of where Oklahoma State's program is
at as Eric Morris, their head coach, comes in trying
to rebuild. He brought his quarterback, Drew Mestemaker, with him
as well. Absolute stud, can sling it. However, a couple
turnovers in that game plagued them. It's a big number.

(25:10):
23 and a half points that they're getting at home.
Here's the problem for me. Oregon's close call versus Boise
State makes me believe that they are going to try
to put a whooping on Oklahoma State. Some offensive line
issues for Oregon versus Boise. I don't feel like the
Oklahoma State defense will be able to exploit that. I

(25:30):
think Oregon wins this one handily on the road. I'm
laying a big number here, 23 and a half points.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
Next up, we have a number of SEC matchups for you.

Speaker 7 (25:45):
This one is going to be at Kroger Field in
good old Lex Vegas. That's Lexington, Kentucky. Kentucky with a
nice win to start off the season.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Like Kroger Kroger? Like Kroger Field, buddy. Kroger Kroger.

Speaker 7 (26:01):
Kentucky got off to a good start, in particular with
Will Stein, their new head coach. Their offense looked like
it was in a groove. Kenny Minchey, former Notre Dame quarterback,
opened things up as well in the past game. He's
also very mobile. I like them as a live dog
getting 10 points right now at home versus Bama. Keelan
Russell looked good, but that offense is still coming together.

(26:22):
I've got concerns about the offensive line. It's always concerning
when you play an opening game and your quarterback's the
leading rusher, where your run game is at, and that
was an example of that this past week, and obviously
not necessarily by design.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Some scrambles on some pass plays there, too, so.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
I think UK at home can hang within the number.
Look for Kentucky to be a sleeper potentially this year
in the SEC. Give me the 10 points of the Wildcats.

Speaker 9 (26:49):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
Next up, a noon game in West Lafayette, Indiana. We've
got the Purdue Boilermakers hosting Wake Forest. This one's a
tight spread, only three points. I've been impressed with what
I've seen from Ryan Brown. I think there's a good chance.
Purdue can keep this one at home as a home

(27:14):
dog within the number. Just more faith right now in
what they're kind of building at this point.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
So I'm going to take the three points and Purdue.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Ooh.

Speaker 9 (27:22):
Wow, man.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Will they be able to tell each other apart in
the game?

Speaker 7 (27:29):
That is one issue that they're looking to still sort out.
I'm not sure they've figured this out right now. It
was kind of like the last segment where we were
trying to figure out which is more the offensive term.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Between Clown, Tool, and Douche.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
Next up, we've got a matchup in the Big 12.
The top 15 ranked BYU Cougars. They will be headed
to Tucson, Arizona to take on the Wildcats.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Both teams obviously off to a good start.

Speaker 7 (27:52):
Noah Fafita, the longtime quarterback. Arizona can really light things up.
Bear Bachmeier on the other side for BYU.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
This number is one of those fishy lines.

Speaker 7 (28:01):
Arizona getting 7.5 points at home.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
I like their chances here.

Speaker 7 (28:05):
I think they've got enough balance between the rushing attack
and their passing attack to stay within this number. Look
for a backdoor cover here from the Wildcats hosting BYU.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
Ooh.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Oh!

Speaker 7 (28:20):
Two more again, as we've got kind of the battle
of the SEC versus every other conference. I've got Tennessee
headed down to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech and
Bobby Dodd Stadium. I didn't love what I saw from
Georgia Tech versus Colorado and no disrespect towards them. But again,
Alberta Mendoza taking over a quarterback seemed like some things
were uneasy. Points were hard to come by. That's not
going to be the case for Tennessee. This team has

(28:42):
athletes everywhere, speed everywhere. Brandon Feaster, their quarterback, young but
still really coming on. And I think they're going to lay.
It's a big number on the road, but laying the
11 and a half here, I just think there's a
huge talent gap between the two teams.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Give me the volunteers.

Speaker 9 (29:01):
Wins, wins. I don't know how much more I can take.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
We got a couple more in you, okay? Let's go.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
Next up, we've got Mississippi State headed up to Minnesota
to take on.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
To take on.

Speaker 7 (29:19):
Another Big Ten opponent, but a clash of two power
four conferences here.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
This is going to be one of the previews of
two of the quarterbacks.

Speaker 7 (29:26):
We're not talking about quite as much in regards to
next year's draft, but Drake Lindsey for Minnesota has got
one of the more stronger arms. He's an underrated quarterback,
more of a pro-style system in Minnesota. And then on
the other side, Kamario Taylor. for Mississippi State, an absolute
freak and specimen. He's got a live arm, can really
sling the football, and also athletically can tote the rocks.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
So a nice battle between these two.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
What was his name again?

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Kamario Taylor.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
All right.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
One more time.

Speaker 6 (29:59):
Kamario taylor yeah how do you think they came up
with that name like what do you think that that
like went.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Into the the choosing of that.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
Name they bought mario brothers at kmart.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
Oh i can make some sense i could see that
k jonas knox okay all right All right.

Speaker 7 (30:20):
Anyway, Mississippi State getting a point and a half on
the road. I'm going to take the point and a
half here. I feel like the athletes in space for
Mississippi State are going to show out. I also think
this may be the year for the SEC to take
back dominance in college football.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
So give me the point and a half at Mississippi State.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
Ooh.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
Ah!

Speaker 2 (30:43):
And the last one, one of the biggest games of
the weekend. One more time here, Lorena. We've got Michigan hosting.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
The Oklahoma Sooners. He didn't mean it literally.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yeah, no, not literally. Figuratively speaking.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Not at that moment.

Speaker 7 (30:56):
We obviously saw the performance last week of Michigan versus
Western Michigan. That was a big topic of conversation. It
leads me to think there's something that Michigan's been holding
back for this matchup. Oklahoma got the better of Michigan
last year in Bryce Underwood's first season starting. He's got
a lot to prove. This Michigan team has a lot
to prove. The number has blown up to five last
time I took a look at it. I'm going to

(31:17):
take the Wolverines and the five points to keep it
within the number. I don't think they'll win this game.
I think Oklahoma is the better team. They have the
better quarterback in John Mateer. But I do think this
could be a tighter, more low scoring affair between these
two teams. If it becomes a shootout, Michigan's got no
shot in this one. But give me the five points

(31:37):
and Michigan at home.

Speaker 9 (31:38):
Ooh.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Update.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
Michigan is a five and a half point underdog now.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
I love the hook there. Still will take it.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (31:51):
And this number actually ballooned to up as much as Six,
six and a half in some books after, obviously, the
debacle that was last week's final moments. But the opening
line got as big as six, six and a half.
So it's been bet down a little bit. But again,
Oklahoma not really tested at all last week. But they
feel like the more complete team. I'm not sure what

(32:11):
else defensively they want to do differently than what they
did last year versus Bryce Underwood. He still has not
showcased the ability to really be able to progress through
his reads, process downfield. But I do feel like, you know,
coming from Utah, Jason Beck, their offensive coordinator, he'll have
a much different game plan for how they're going to
attack Oklahoma this year than what we saw last year

(32:32):
from the Wolverines.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
There we go.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about
right there. Get back on the saddle.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Can't wait for next week.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
I mean, that's, wow.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
Yeah, man.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
I don't know if it's more of the commentary or
the drop, man.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
I'm just telling you.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Is it Hugh's silky smooth voice and all of the
commentary and information, or is it Lorena's, like, putting a
cap on it at the end of each one?

Speaker 7 (33:01):
I don't know what Lorena's going to do if we
have another bad week. I may put ten games in
for week three.

Speaker 9 (33:06):
Dang.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
I mean, it's kind of like playing craps.

Speaker 7 (33:11):
Once you get down, guys, it's betting intensive. You've got
to put more out there in order to get your
way back out of that hole.

Speaker 6 (33:18):
Maybe we'll do it like the award shows and wait.
Everybody in the crowd, just hold the applause until we
read off all of the names.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
Right, right.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
Like we'll get one we'll just get one big one
at the end you know what i.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Mean loretta did you record that in the ox studio
around the corner from here is that what that happened
i just i wonder at what time of day was
that could you could you imagine augusto or somebody.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
How long ago was this like who was who was
with you.

Speaker 9 (33:48):
For this uh it was me and lee.

Speaker 6 (33:51):
And that's stupid that's so stupid and it was brady
quinn and she walked right into it and it.

Speaker 10 (33:58):
Was Vito who asked for it he was like I
need Lorena to throw this together and I was like I.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
Got you Brady Quinn walked Lorena right into it, and
she did it.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Walked right into it.

Speaker 9 (34:10):
It was a very awkward recording session.

Speaker 5 (34:14):
It didn't sound like it.

Speaker 9 (34:15):
I've done a lot of recording sessions.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I don't know if awkward is the way I describe that.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
Lorena, you're a method actor.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
I don't think awkward is the one.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Awkward is probably not the way I describe it.

Speaker 5 (34:26):
That was method acting, Lorena.

Speaker 9 (34:28):
I would call it awkward. It was, you know, because.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
I mean, Nirvana comes to mind.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Why'd you start laughing like that?

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Being in a state of Nirvana comes to mind.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
There's some other things, but yeah.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
Wow. Good times, though.

Speaker 9 (34:45):
I wish we recorded it. That would have been fun to.

Speaker 5 (34:46):
Get on camera.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
Yeah. Oh, gosh. Wow. What, what, what, uh, braisers?

Speaker 9 (34:53):
I'd be like, no, no.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
I'd be like, no.

Speaker 7 (34:55):
Talk to me next segment about.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
Braisers.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
What would it be on? What would the video be on?

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Damn, man. That'd be a new frontier for this show.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
I said it last segment. I did it last segment.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
And again.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
I got it out.

Speaker 6 (35:18):
Y'all want me to do it again?

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (35:20):
Do it again.

Speaker 9 (35:21):
All right.

Speaker 6 (35:24):
If you respect a pickup that's built to do the
job the way that Lorena does, making no fuss.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Get you a.

Speaker 6 (35:34):
Nissan Frontier because it's built like Lorena for the work week.
But it's also ready to load you up and get
you ready for that tailgate on the weekend. That's the
2026 Nissan Frontier, y'all.

Speaker 5 (35:49):

It's Radio Roulette.

Speaker 9 (36:55):
And this week, it's Smash or Pass.

Speaker 5 (36:58):
I love Smash or Pass.

Speaker 9 (36:59):
It's one of my favorite games.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Starting with Lorena. Oh, no.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Giving the list. Giving the list.

Speaker 9 (37:08):
Yes, that's what you meant.

Speaker 10 (37:10):
I do want to say I'm very honored you guys
kept the segment. I thought it was going to be
thrown away once football season started, but we'll ride it out.

Speaker 9 (37:18):
All right, so let's get into Smasher Pass.

Speaker 10 (37:20):
I've been looking at different fields all across the NFL
to see what the coolest new foods they have are.

Speaker 9 (37:25):
So we're going to smash or pass on those. First off,
we're to Lambeau Field.

Speaker 10 (37:30):
The giant $ 35 horse collar brat is coming back. It
was discontinued back in 2016.

Speaker 9 (37:37):
Now, it's a.

Speaker 10 (37:37):
Beer brat on a bun with beer mustard, beer cheese, sauerkraut, onions.

Speaker 9 (37:42):
All in the shape of a horse collar. Once again,
that's $ 35. Are you going to smash it or pass it?

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Smash.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Smash.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
Pass.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
Pass.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yep. Don't do hot dogs. Don't do brats.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
Sorry.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 9 (37:54):
Brat, I feel is sophisticated.

Speaker 6 (37:57):
Brats are way more banging than a hot dog just
by itself.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
Can't do it.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Won't do it.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
I always smash a brat. It's a brat! My brother
does brats. They're tremendous. Grilled onions.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Peppers.

Speaker 9 (38:16):
Nice grilled bun, too. All right, next Smasher Pass.

Speaker 10 (38:19):
We're off to Bill's Highmark Stadium. They have the Buffalo Bruncher.
This one comes for $ 25. You get stacked on top
of cinnamon roll buns. You have a beef brisket, chicken tenders,
barbecue sauce, beef fondue, jalapeno poppers, all inside of a
cinnamon roll bun.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Pass.

Speaker 7 (38:38):
Pass.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
Pass.

Speaker 7 (38:39):
I'm going to smash. I'm actually going to try that.
It sounds like there's enough stuff there where I feel
like you got to.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Try it once.

Speaker 5 (38:44):
I love cinnamon rolls, but by themselves.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
Yeah, I don't like that.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
You could just take out that part for dessert. You know,
eat the rest separately.

Speaker 9 (38:52):
That is a good point. Someone did say that.

Speaker 10 (38:55):
There's so many different flavors that you can even break
it apart and it still feeds a lot of people.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
I didn't think of that.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
I don't like my food touching.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
I do.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
It all mixes together your stomach anyway.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (39:06):
Yeah, I know that, but if the beef is touching
the cinnamon, I don't do savory and sweet. I'll never
do a fruit salad with lettuce and arugula and all
that stuff with strawberries and grapes.

Speaker 10 (39:23):
With a nice big fatty steak and blue cheese on top?

Speaker 5 (39:25):
No way.

Speaker 6 (39:26):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7 (39:26):
So your barbecue sauce, you don't like like a sweet
barbecue sauce?

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Like sweet and tangy is not your style?

Speaker 4 (39:31):
I'm okay with a sweet barbecue sauce.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
Like a Carolina?

Speaker 4 (39:35):
It's just barbecue sauce.

Speaker 6 (39:38):
But if it's, like, fruit mixed with, like, if it's
savory and sweet, like, yeah, nah. Like, I'm not going
to do a donut cheeseburger. I'm not going to do it.

Speaker 9 (39:48):
I always got to smash it, though. If it's going
to be sweet and savory together, it's going down.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
Thanks for that, guys.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Bye.
