require those oh no, no, no, hey to each their own,
(01:47):
all right. So with that being said, Stephen Jones, who
is kind of running the show there in Dallas, and
the guy who's making some decisions, the executive vice president,
by the way, you hear his father on here. He'll
drop in from time to time and talk about Mexico
and glory holes and things like that.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Jerry's got a direct line.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
He's actually he's got a comraq set up from the
Jerry Dome.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yeah, so he'll he'll just pipe in whatever he feels
like it.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
It's kind of wild, So I won't make some glory Jerry.
It's a right show for you, pal, so you ain't
gonna get Micahs. So Stephen Jones was talking with Adam
Shine of Serious XM about the Micah Parsons trade. Now
(02:40):
that it's all said and done, you know, the picks
are in, the choices.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Have been made. Mike is in Green Bay.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
By the way, I did get word that he is
expected to return early next season. That according to the
Packers who talked about that yesterday, but coming off the
knee injury from Micah that he suffered in Denver last year.
But Stephen Jones talked about where they stand, how they
feel post trade now that everything the dust is settled,
(03:06):
the players are in Dallas, Mike is in Green Bay,
and he said.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
This, we feel really good about it. Obviously much respect
for Micah and what he stands for and what how
he plays and the caliber player he is. But you know,
at the same time, we feel good about what we've added,
you know, via that trade. And you look at a
guy like quinnam Williams and Kenny Clark, they're you know,
they're alpha players who not only are great players on
(03:32):
the field, but they're leaders in the meeting rooms. How
they go about their business in the offseason, just bring.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Great leadership to this team.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
I just feel very optimistic that we have the right pieces.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
In place to go out.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
And uh, you know that ultimately, you know, the decision
we made was you know that multiple player. One player
is not worth you know, four or five good ones,
and we feel like that's where we're going to end
up here and in a good spot. And uh, you know,
we have that opportunity there and didn't feel like we
were one player away last year. But I certainly feel
(04:06):
like we're putting the pieces together, you know, to give
us an opportunity to go do what our fans deserve,
what we want, which is to go try and win
the big trophy.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
I know the heat that they feel good about it,
and of course he's going to say that they're not
going to say, man, we really screwed that up. And
I totally get the idea that, hey, you brought in
all of these other pieces. You went out and got
Quinn Williams, you made all these other moves. You like,
you know you're not going to win a super Bowl
because of one player, you feel better about having a
bunch of other players. But I still can't help but
(04:39):
think that a lot of those moves they made after
the fact are because I think everybody recognizes, yeah, you
kind of screwed that one up, like you kind of
screwed that one up. I know you got a ton
in return, and I know you got a bunch of
other players in return, but it's hard to argue with
the fact that any of those guys that you brought
in is not the caliber of Michah Parsons, who from
(05:02):
my understanding, and listen, you know him way better than
I do, LeVar, But from my understanding, it's not like
he wanted to leave. It's not like he didn't like Dallas,
and yet for some reason, it felt like a Jerry
Jones Micah Parsons riff, whatever Jerry's issue.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Is, whether it was the agent, whether it was whatever
you want to call it.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Of all the deals that Dallas ultimately ends up getting done,
that felt like the most obvious and it didn't happen.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
It respect I think he gave what he felt was
his proper reasoning for the situation. But I always find
it strange when something doesn't go right and doesn't unfold
the way that you wanted to unfold, Like you can
still give the man his props as a person, Like, yeah,
(05:51):
everything he said about him was based off of him
as a player. Like if you listen to the quote again, like,
do you have a cute up Lorena about his quote? Like,
listen to how he explains Michael Parsons. When he's done
explaining Michael Parson's hip pause, I just want to like
illustrate this all right, Listen to the way he talks
about go ahead, hit play.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
We feel really good about it. Obviously much respect for
Micah and what he stands for and what how he
plays and the caliber player he is. But you know,
at the same time, we feel good about.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
What we had right there, stop right there, Well, like, okay,
what he stands for, you gave no context, you gave
no clarity on it, and then it just went right
immediately into the type of player.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
He's a player, player, player, player, right, Okay.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Now, listen to what he says about the guys that
he brought in after Michael Parsons.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Listen what he says.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Time, we feel good about what we've added, you know,
via that trade. And you look at a guy like
Quinnum Williams and Kenny Clark, they're you know, they're alpha
players who not only are great play players on the field,
but their leaders in the meeting rooms, how they go
about their business in the offseason. Just bring great leadership
to this team.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Now play Michael Parson's part again.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
We feel really good about it. Obviously, much respect for
Micah and what he stands for and what hew he
plays and the caliber player he is. But you know,
at the same time, we feel good about what we've had.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
He's not an alpha man. He's not an alpha.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
He's not a good player on and off the good
person on and off the field. He doesn't bring leadership.
He doesn't prepare well on the off season. What hey,
come on, man, Like you can have your opinion, which
is fine, have your opinion, but don't diminish somebody because
it didn't work out. As good as Kenny Clark and
(07:52):
Quinn Williams are, they're not Michael Parsons put together. Put
them together, Quinn Kenny Clark equal not Michael. It does
not equal Michael Parsons. So you can say Michael Parsons
is a generational talent. You can say Michael Parsons transformed
(08:16):
not only our team but the NFL on the defensive
side of the ball. Michael Parsons is not what you
would consider to be a prototypical defensive end. But yet
this new way of talking about players that play on
the edge, our edge, edge, that's your title edge. It's
(08:39):
guys like Michael Parsons who have redefined just like a
just like a Lawrence Taylor did when he came along.
He was so good that he redefined the position. Reggie
White came along, he redefined the position. You have to
mention Michael Parsons name in the same breath as Lawrence
(09:03):
Taylor and Reggie White to go along, to go further
and say that quantity outweighs quality. You got to give
yourself pause on that moment, and you have to really
think it through. Would you have said that about Troy Aikman,
(09:24):
Would you have said that about Michael Irvin? Would you
have said that about EMMITTT.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Smith. Would you have said that about Larry Allen? I
don't think so.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
I do not think that Jerry Jones or Steven Jones
would actually fix their face to say a player as
impactful as they were for that team at twenty five
years old. I don't care he got hurt this past year.
I don't care he's young enough. He's actually young enough
(10:00):
to recover from a knee injury that isn't catastrophic anymore,
just commonplace to get it, get it fixed, and get
back and play at just as high level. You're telling me,
at twenty five years old, that quantity will always outweigh quality.
(10:22):
I think that's a I don't think that that's that's
an honest statement. I think that they're they're embarrassed by it.
They're trying to stay faced on it. Just give that
man his props and say we didn't want to pay
him for one reason or another. We don't want to
pay him. We went this direction. Hopefully we can get
through what we need to get through. Hope he gets
(10:44):
back healthy and is able to play a game. But
don't don't do that. Let me let me ask you
a question, lightweight Shade, don't do that. Let me ask
you a question.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
If the decision maker, the de facto GM in Dallas
wasn't a Jones, would they still have a job. No,
Because I look at that, And the reason I bring
that up is because you know Messi Ujeri, who just
took over making the decisions for the Mavericks, and he
(11:14):
made he had a quote talking about the Luca trade
because obviously Nico Harrison made the call.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
He's out of a job. You know, that just didn't
go well for anybody.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
And his point was, look, we got to stop thinking
about that. You know, we have Cooper flag now. And
he said, you know, there's an old saying in Africa
that when a king leaves, a king arrives, and so
now we need to focus on the new king that
is in town. And he's saying that because he's taking
over the leftover of a bad decision. And the reason
(11:48):
why he's taking over is because that bad decision cost
the other guy his job. And I look at it
and I go nobody anywhere thought that trading Micah Parsons
was even a possibility. Every insider was saying, yeah, listen, look,
I think ultimately they're gonna get it done.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
The deal's gonna get done.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
And then as it went on, I was like, wow,
this this feels like it's personal. So if it was personal,
if this wasn't a family tie connection, being the person
who was making the decisions and making the call on
that move, I wonder are they still there?
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Does it seem if it's not a family member.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
You don't make that decision like, let's stop right there,
let's stop right there. If it's any other GM in
the National Football League, even even if he was in
New York with the Jets. You know what, you know what,
Woody Allen's kids would have said, Oh, his Madden rating
is Audy Johnson. Wood Johnson.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
I said, Harrelson, you should Woody Allen, wood Allen. Who's
Woody Allen?
Speaker 5 (12:52):
That is it?
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Weirdough?
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Okay, his kids would have looked at his his Maden
rating and have been like, Dad, pay them. Matten says,
his ratings makes it worth the money. Pay them. Even
if he was with the Jets, they would have paid
Michael Parsons, I guess the point I'm getting at is
that football is the ultimate team sport. It is often
(13:20):
related to the connection to it, the strategy, the camaraderie,
the suffering to get in to shape, the perseverance, the
strategize and it's just so many different things. You have generals,
you have different ranking officials, you have foot soldiers, you
(13:40):
have special ops. You have every single element that is
relatable to a military. And when you look at how
you have to operate within the military, it's a selfless
You have to have selflessness in your heart, you have
to have have teamwork and ultimate team goals in your mind.
(14:04):
And it has to be one of the most difficult
ways of balancing self and selfless. It's one of it's
you have to have the belief that you're the best,
but at the same time you have to be humble
enough to to integrate and to mesh with the other personalities,
(14:30):
not just the players and teammates, but also coaches and
coaches have to do the same thing, and so do owners,
and so do gms. This strikes me as it is
a significant stench of arrogance that is going into the
decision making and it's most likely probably the biggest reason
(14:55):
why Dallas can't seem to figure it out. Take a fine,
here we go. You have, oh the judges in here today.
F him you have when I got to Washington. You
have North Turner as as your head coach, offensive guru.
(15:16):
Great mind. They bring in Ray Rhodes as the defensive coordinator. Now,
if you remember Ray Rhods, heck of a defensive coordinator.
It didn't work out so well as a head coach,
but he was pretty good as a head coach Philadelphia
coach Ray Rhodes, you had Terry Rubisky as your offensive coordinator.
(15:36):
Dope mind, amazing mind. You have Brad Johnson Jeff George
as your quarterbacks. You have Stephen Davis, Skip Hicks in
your backfield. You have Albert connolld Irvin Fryar, Michael Westbrook,
James Thrash at your receiver's position. You have Deon Sanders,
(16:02):
Darryl Green, Champ Bailey, all in the same defensive backfield,
all on the same field, all on the same roster.
You had Big Daddy Wilkinson, You had Dana Stubblefield up front,
Canard Lane in d Kalou.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
All these are.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Successful football players, amazing football players. Marco Coleman, you had
an amazing roster. You brought in Chris Samuels in that draft.
You brought in LaVar Arrington in that draft, and you
had Mark Carrier as a safety. You brought in Bruce
Smith as a free agent. This was one of the
most loaded teams from top to bottom, from coaching staff
(16:43):
through personnel, and we still didn't win. What we didn't
know at the time because it was Dan Snyder's first group,
that was his first go at it. What we didn't
know at the time is the arrogance that existed with
Daniel Snyder and the arrogance in which he ran the organization,
(17:04):
and ultimately it was his undoing. Now, Jerry Jones, they
don't undo themselves. They it seems like they've done things
that they could try to have undone themselves, as him
being the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, but he's too
influential and he makes too many good moves, and it's
just nothing has been his undoing in terms of him
owning the team. But in terms of winning, I think
(17:27):
that growth of arrogance and that that enduring arrogance that
that they have as ownership in GMS, and how they
make their decisions and how they run the building and
how everybody does their jobs. It is clearly the reason
why the Dallas Cowboys continue to come up short in
trying to be a Super Bowl winning team.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yeah, it's not They're not short of talent.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
I mean they for what if to say whatever you want,
They've drafted well, they've drafted Hall of famers, They've they've
done well. You know, Prescott's been a really successful quarterback
and he was what a fourth round pick like they've
Dallas has done a good job, Tony Romo had really
good years there. Jason Witten is one of the all time,
you know receivers. Like it's it's not as if an
offensive line of.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Martin like Hall of.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Famers, So it's not as if they haven't drafted well
and haven't done some good things there. I just look
at it and I go, if we're going to talk
about the fact that it's been thirty years since they've
advanced passed the second round of the playoffs, I mean,
at some point you've got to find the constant and
(18:37):
all that, and the constant is Jerry Jones. Jones like
you know, And that's why I look at it. And
I asked the question, if the decision maker on this
deal wasn't a Jones, would they still have a job
or would there be people calling for their job? And
I think the answer is yes, because I don't know
anybody that would have done that. They would have figured
(18:59):
out a way if you and I remember talking to
Bucky Brooks about this years ago and he said, man,
if if you draft really well, your next job is
to keep your own don't keep shopping around like that's
the goal of every team build through the draft. You
got a guy like he pretty good guy. He produced
every year, you got the guy and for whatever reason.
(19:22):
And I understand negotiations and all that stuff. And there
was tough negotiations with Dak Prescott too, there was tough
negotiations with Ceedee Lamb. You're able to get that deal done,
that deal done, this one you couldn't. And I just don't.
It's just a it's wild to think about it.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
It didn't even it made him the highest paid player
at that moment in time. It didn't even last long
when he went and got his deal done in Green Bay.
That's not even the largest deal for a defender. And
as much as I like the kid in Houston, what's
his name, what's the Will Anderson? I love his game,
(20:02):
he's not Michael Parsons. He's not Michael Parsons. The only
one that I could sit there and honestly say, and
he's older than Mike.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
I believe.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
I'm pretty certain Miles Garrett is older than but what
about three years?
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Ah, yeah, something like that.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah, Miles Garrett is the only one that I'd sit
there and say, yeah, like he's the best, Like he's
the Miles Garrett is the best, but Michael Parsons, you
have to keep in mind, has done things that even
(20:37):
Miles Garrett has not done. Only the likes of a
Reggie White, only the likes of a Lawrence Taylor have
done the things that Michael Parsons has done on that
football field. There's no way you can justify that being
the only way you speak on Michael Parsons. I like
(21:01):
what he stands for. Good ballplayer. Come on, man, that's it,
That's all you had.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
And also, by the way, Adam Shined does a great job.
The fact that that was even a question still at
this point should it should tell you.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
That there still needs to be justified.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
If you're like, hey, so, could you please explain that
one more time? Now that all the dust is settle,
the picks are in, the players have been drafted, you
made the movie, could you just explain that one?
Speaker 1 (21:24):
And it sounded just as dumb as the first time.
I just sounded and it exposes to you why this
team can't win. If your arrogance level is so high
that it clouds your judgment on the type of talent
that you have or how you should be approaching the
(21:45):
culture the cultural health of your building. They gave you
your answer. They gave you all you needed to know,
and that that sound bite. And if I'm a Dallas player,
maybe outside of Dak Prescott, maybe Seed Lamb, if you
could say that about Michael Parsons, then who am I.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Look at ceedee Lamb Like I think it went to
social media. I think it was Twitter.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
He posted something while the while the back and forth
the negotiation was going on with Michael Parsons just said
something along the lines of, all right, can we just
stop and get this done? Like this is just let's it.
We all know it's gonna get Let's just get the
deal done. Enough with the back and forth, and then
you know, a couple of days later, he's out the building.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
If that's all, if that's all the accountability you can
have towards your players, like and that's was your that
was their best player, hands down, that's your best football player.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
On that team.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Agreed more than Dak Prescott, more than CD Lamb, more
than anybody else on that Zach Martin, he's your best
football player on that team.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
And that's how you treat it.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
The situation again, that is what you call cultural decay.
Your ego says, quantity is more than quality, which means
I can pick and choose the players that are going
to make this a winning team, even if they're not good. Like,
(23:10):
it's not X's and o's, it's pros and Joe's. If
you got a pro, you got you something special. I'll
tell you what. I'll take one of them frogmen. I'll
take one of them Special Forces men one. I'll take
one of them, all respect to the other guys and
all the men and women of services, I'll take one
(23:32):
of them frogmen over ten fifteen twenty infantry. It's just
how it works. It's not personal. You know that one
frogman right there. I want him, And let me tell
you something that's quality, that's not quantity. Quantity matters, but
(23:55):
quantity should never outweigh quality. You know, maybe they're told
on himself. Maybe they're a George Carlin fan. George Carlin
said back in the day, I've never had a ten.
I've never slept with a ten, but I've had five two's.
Because he couldn't, because you couldn't imagine. Imagine you didn't
sleep with a ten. Because you couldn't get a ten.
(24:16):
You slept with twos because that's what you could get. Yeah,
all right, I know before I became famous, I was
no joking, but I'm just saying just keep it in mind.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Like, if you have a ten, don't mess it up
with that ten. Don't.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Hey, look I met a ten. Yeah, Like let's get married. Yeah, Like,
don't mess around with the ten. Uh speaking to ten.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
So let's tell you about Granger because for the ones
who get it done, Granger operas access to over a
million products in the scale to deliver when and where
you need them. The right tools and supplies are never
far away. Call Clickgrainger dot com or just stop by.

The crown is yours. So this was sort of thrown
out there, and you know, there's it. Just it seems
like every day there's some added detail because people have
(26:32):
an infatuation with this and look for those that wonder, wall,
don't you guys fall in line with that? Well, No,
we're simply reporting on what the top stories of the
day are. What you know, some interesting aspects to certain
stories are. And the Mic Rabel Diana Rossini saga is
a big deal. I mean, that's a that's a big
(26:53):
deal cost a respected NFL report.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Of their job.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
It's a coach who was just in a Super Bowl
and the scandal to go along with it. And so
there's a lot of a discussion about, you know, how
this whole thing is going to play out, And seemingly
every day there's a new report. I think it's starting
to make the rounds. The Daily Mail had a report
about Diana Rossini her husband being heartbroken and whatnot, that
(27:20):
Diana Rossini's in a tough spot because she genuinely was
in love with Mike Rabel. She's dealing with all so
just like all of that is sort of the the
relationship soap opera type stuff to go along with it.
But I know Stu Gotts on our network is good
friends with Diana Rossini and has just said, listen, you know,
when she's ready to tell her story, She'll tell her story,
(27:41):
so on and so forth, and you know, all respect there.
You know, Mike Florio threw this out there that you know,
maybe she's got an ace upper sleeve as she does talk,
And I kind of think what he's getting at is,
what if she just decides I'm just going to go
(28:01):
ahead and let it fly here, and all of a
sudden it implicates maybe even more. And I'm not saying
more than Vrabel. I'm just saying more details about that
relationship that went all the way back to Tennessee when
a lot of those stories and reports came out and
stuff went publicly, and then you start to wonder, well,
(28:25):
did he violate any sort of policies? Did he violate
was there stuff going on that now upon further review,
you look at and go as a coach, if you
go through the details of contractual agreements, you're not allowed
to do that. We're always talking about the integrity of
the game, the integrity of the game. If you come
to find out that there was this going on and
(28:46):
it was manipulating leverage in negotiations for certain players or
trade acquisitions or whatever, I just I can't help but
think that there's going to continue, you to be more
of this trickling out. And I know we had the
bet going on of hey, by the time, you know,
(29:06):
week one of the NFL season comes around, is this
you know, uh, do you guys think this is still
going to be a storyline? And I think by week
one things probably would have quieted down. And then you
see stuff like this and you go, man, we haven't
heard from her yet. And when she does decide that
she does want to talk, whether it is with Stu
(29:26):
Gotts or whether it is on her own or whatnot,
then what And she sort of has all the cards
in that where she could decide she just wants to
fire off and have a conversation about everything on you know,
fourth of July, or she could wait till Labor Day,
or she could wait whatever she wants. And next thing,
you know, blows the lid off some stuff, and then
(29:48):
we've got this whole scandal back back in the headlines.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Yet again.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
It's hard to get sometimes it's like what's reality, what's real,
what's fake, what's phony? I think we all come from
different places. We have different backgrounds, so we have different
life experiences, so we come to different conclusions. I think
that that's why I believe there's the different in opinions
(30:19):
on this topic where I come from, what I've seen,
what I've experienced, the way this unfolded scandals have been sensationalized.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Throughout the ages. I mean, we still.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Haven't gotten over Charles and Diana, yet that still comes up,
still a story, still a part of the story. How
long ago was that. All I'm saying is there are
certain things that happen, and it's a perfect storm of information.
(31:00):
It's a perfect storm with characters. This is a storyline
that does not have any end in sight because Diana
Rossini is one of the most well respected successful insiders.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
In sports.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
In sports, Mike Vrabel is largely considered to be football royalty.
Played at at Ohio State, did Well blue blood school
goes to the Steelers, blue Blood Boom like historical landmark
(31:45):
organization goes to the Patriots and is a part of
one of the starts of the greatest dynasties in all
of sports. He's such a well revered, respected, admired person.
It is perfect. It's not only like good or it
(32:06):
fits Jonas. It is the perfect storm of a scandal,
like what other elements do you need for a scandal
to live up to the building of a scandal.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
There's also, by the way, did you see this stuff
about the accident? So you know how there was the
story that came out that she rescued a guy in
his dogs in the car, and then people started interviewing
witnesses nearby and they said, well, no, she was just standing.
There was actually her husband who reached through to help
him out. First of all, the two people were rescued,
(32:44):
and instead of that being the story, it's yeah, but
who reached through the car to pull him out?
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Right? Hey all because of this story?
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Yes, it's crazy, Well buying a blue zip up sports shirt.
I'm just telling you the details now matters. It's a
large enough scandal. And again, how do you replace that?
Speaker 3 (33:11):
Why? What?
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Like in media, why would you replace if there's so
much more meat, like this is a fat hog of
a story. This is not This is not a little
piggy like fat fat hogs get slaughtered. This has so
much meat to it, just because scandals carry that type
(33:37):
of weight relevant scandals, How do you replace that? What
are you replacing the mic Rabel Diana Rassini scandal with
what are you replacing it with?
Speaker 3 (33:48):
What other news like, Oh.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
The you guys said the season schedule release and different category. Oh,
they're gonna get that work category. And it's going to
be related. Anytime something is discussed about Mike, Mike Vrabel,
Diana Rossini is immediately going to be brought up, some way, somehow,
(34:11):
it's going to happen. How long did the Shannon Sharp
stuff go on for? He's not even married, and all
he was really doing was just talking bad to to
the girl, even talking bad to her. He was abusive verbally,
but some people said she might have liked it regardless,
(34:32):
it was the perfect storm for a scandal, and it
ultimately costed that man his job. So I just don't
I don't understand in reality how anyone could think that
this story is going.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Away, you know, anytime soon. You know.
Speaker 4 (34:50):
The other part of this that because again and people
are wondering, well, you know, what's the latest development. Well,
the latest development is you know, you've got people close
to her saying, listen, she's going to talk on her timeline,
which which leads you to wonder, Okay, when.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Is that going to be?
Speaker 4 (35:03):
And she's got a lot to say, but I also
I also look at it and I go. The other
part of this that doesn't get talked about enough is
the fact that Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots,
went to the New York Post to try and get
them to not release the photos. Why, Like I understand, well,
(35:28):
it's your coach and it's a bad look. No, no, because
I think Robert Craft also knows, Hey, man if well
also that, but if they peel back every layer to
this onion, people's eyes are really gonna water like that's
and I think that that was him trying his and
he went and really got on him to don't release
(35:49):
these photos. Don't release these photos. Don't release these photos.
And I think it's because he knew, Man, there's more here,
There's a lot more here, and this could get real ugly,
real fast. So while everything is calm now and quiet
now the schedule release, they're gonna be the butt of
the jokes. Yes, it's every everywhere you go, like any
(36:10):
any reference comment. I just so, yeah, And I mentioned
this before. I think if I'm a betting man, everything
quiets down by week one. But I also think it
would not surprise me if this would lead to Mike
Rabel saying, all right, I gotta I gotta fix some stuff.
(36:34):
I can't focus on this team right now.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
I can only imagine what Diana Rassini is going through
on a day to day basis right now. And with
that being said, she may feel like she needs to
clear some things up. She may feel like, why I'm
not the only one that's getting all down on this
Lench tour. It might not even be revenge. It might
be like exonerating or like I got I got a
(36:59):
salvage something here, and you could ultimately turn that into
a a redemption story. It's just it's not over. It's
not over, and it's not over at by long shot.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
And I also think there's probably like when this happens
a lot with people, when a big scandal like this happens,
there are other people that are like, oh boy, don't
come for me. A lot of skeletons in the closet
out there for.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
But they.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with uh Caham. He's the good
of the week. I think he shows us why he's
a top ten player, no debate, top ten player in
the NBA, has a bright future. And this Pistons team
can build around him, and they got a great chance,
they got great opportunity in this playoff run because of
kid Cunningham.

sick stick.
Speaker 7 (39:28):
Yeah, so my bad of the week is actually Austin Reeves.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Reeves with the Lakers, you know, lost of the thunder.
Speaker 7 (39:34):
Well, Austin Reeves went three for sixteen on shots eight points.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
And what was it? Austin three sixteen says I whooped
your ass? Well for Reeves, Austin three sixteen, you got
your ass whooped tauh geez, Patty damn.
Speaker 7 (39:46):
Indeed, that's the bad. That's my bad of the weekend
finalist Sheriff. No, she get the ugly brother, go.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
For he got the ugly brother. Here's my ugly How
about the fact that Jalen Brown, who just authored the
first ever three to one series gag job in the
history of the Boston Celtics organization. And Jalen Brown comes
(40:13):
out afterwards and his moral the story was Joel Embiid flops.
The NBA's got to do something about this flopping. It's
not a good look, it doesn't make the game, gets
fined fifty thousand dollars and buries the lead, which was
you guys gave away a three to one lead and
(40:34):
you couldn't hit shots. But he wants to point to
Joel Embiid flopping and in the words of the Great
Joel Embiid, first of.
Speaker 7 (40:42):
All, no bit.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
Come on, dude, takes some accountability. You guys just lost
had nothing to do with flopping.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Stop
