(01:30):
Antetokumpo was introduced. Jannis Antetokumpo. Oh okay, yeah, listen, man,
there's some names. I got some names. I don't that
one I figured out, all right, Just you know, there's
some other easy ones, you know that happened to be
in laws that I've not quite figured out yet. But
that's a whole nother discussion. Jannis introduced in Miami yesterday.

(01:53):
Pat Riley's out there, everybody's in a celebratory mood, and
so Yannis spoke about sort of the press. Sure, you know,
the the the feel in Miami upon his arrival.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
I know the expectations that this team has.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
I love pressure. Coach Sports talked about pressure, and I
think I tried pressure. I think I need pressure at
this time of my career. I think in order for
me to go to the next, you know level, I
got to get out of my comfort zone. And I
feel like my young was a place for me to be.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
So all about the comfort zone, Well, you ain't going
to be in your comfort zone in Miami.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
That's for certain. That's for certain. What's that supposed to mean?
What's he's a good looking dude too?

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Man?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
You know he's the Greek freak. I mean, I know
he's married, happily married and all that. But the Warriors,
then the Miami Heat staying they ain't gonna care. Now,
when you said warriors, what are you referring to? Like,
what would you say?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Well, not not not the type of warrior I am.
Like the Warriors that are out there and they'll you know,
they'll take it.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
From the South Beach Stevens Heats.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
You know, I said, I introduced the topic up on
game the other week and I was like, you know,
the Miami Heats, like the Heats, and it's like we're
referencing them because it's like, you know, you have like
the Cavaliers, like you know what a cavalier is or
you know, but like there's certain teams like the Lakers,
like the Lakers is synonymous with the team.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
But if you say the Lakers, what is a Laker? Right?
So when you say the heats, like you know, he's
a heat. What is a heat? Yeah? What a heat is. Yeah,
it's like a magic you know, it's like, you know,
like a jazz it's like a magic.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Well.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
The problem.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
The problem is some of these franchises just to inherit
the logo and the mascot and the team name, and
it doesn't make sense. Like when I think of Utah,
I don't think of jazz, Like I'm sorry, like.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
In there because there wasn't they didn't come from there,
yees to get from New Orleans. But but couldn't you
couldn't you like figure it out? The Lakers come from Minnesota.
Weren't they a Minnesota first? Yeah, that's why they call
them the Lakers? Like cold, couldn't you couldn't you have
figured something else out? Like that's what I say. You
can say whatever you wanted. That Art Modell, He's like,
you know what, I'll let you keep the Browns. I'll

(04:19):
go be the Ravens. All right.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
We'll lean into so Baltimore raven bird, that Edgar All
type of bird in particular, that tough ass black bird.
Didn't they mess around to get Ray Lewis to get
another tough ass black bird?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Like they nailed it, man, like they really did. They
stuck it to them, didn't you know they? Art Bodell
was looking around going, you know what, Edgar Allan Poe
kind of a kind of a dark poet, you know,
with all the you know quote the Raven never More,
kind of a haunting poem.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I'm just going to lean into that. They got it right,
you know. When I think of don't see that?

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeah, When I think of Utahed don't think the jazz
just doesn't make sense, like, you know, which.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Is funny because the first thing I think about when
I hear Utah is jazz? Really, I think, what else
do I relate to the Utah? I think of Mormons?

Speaker 4 (05:14):
The first thing that pops into my mind. It's it's close.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Polygamy is like the first thing outside of outside of jazz. Like,
what's a word that pops into your mind when you
hear Utah.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
I think of jazz, and I think of definitely polygamy. Snow.
There you go, I think of snow. I think, you know, beautiful.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Those are the two I don't I don't even go
any further than that, don't even go any further.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Teach their own. But Yannis finds himself away from Milwaukee.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Yeah, I guy to say this.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Does anybody actually think. And this is not to try
and disrespect Giannis, because he's a great player, still a
great player. But I just don't know that Yan going
to Miami all of a sudden. You know, the expectation
is we've got to win a title. Like pat Riley
sitting there talking about, well we landed one, we got
to land another, you know, talking about we've got to

(06:09):
you know, land a championship here. I just I don't
I don't see it, man, I don't know how if
you want to talk about the Eastern Conference, maybe it
closes the gap a little bit here. But you gave
up a lot to trade for Giannis, and it just feels,
I've said this before, very similar to the Carmelo Anthony trade,
where you know, the Knicks had to have him, had

(06:31):
to have him, but the problem was they gave up
so much to get him that you looked around and said, man,
it like who's he gonna play with? And I know
they've got Bam out of Bio and I get it.
I just don't know. When he's talking about pressure, you know,
I like the pressure. I know the expectations here, what
are the expectations? It's not championship, championship or bus.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Really say or bus?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
You don't bring in a Yannis to not compete for
and contend Fortunechampionship.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
You just don't.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
So yeah, I wouldn't say it's championship or bus, but
I guess in some type of way I would say championship.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Or bus because Okay, how long do you think Jannis
hads with the Miami Heat Four? I mean four three,
four peak years?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Okay, So if we're gonna throw out three to four
peak years, then when is a championship or bus? And
if it's not within that four year period of time,
why get them?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Well, this is I think a pat Riley decision because
pat Riley loves to make splash moves.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
He like that's his thing.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
If you can go through whether it was trading for Shack,
whether it was the Lebron and you know, Chris Bosh
and getting them to South Beach, He's like, he's one
of those guys that loves making splash moves. And look,
it's worked for him. They've been really successful. They're a
really well run organization. But this feels like one hundred
percent a pat Riley move, and yeah, they're going to

(08:13):
be better I.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Believe pat Rally the architect of big moves that lead
to championships.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Yeah, of course, but it's not like he won. I know,
if you were saying that, like, that's like not a
good thing. No, that's a good thing. No, that's a
that's a great thing. I just don't think.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I don't think it's happening here. That's that's my point.
I don't look at this as a Big three union.
I don't look at Giannis and bam Adebayo. You know
that pairing all of a sudden, that's a daunting task
for somebody in the Eastern Conference, let alone the Western Conference.
I mean, look, man, you could go through you know,
just the odds. I mean you got to go pretty

(08:50):
far down before you find Miami. Is you know, being
a team that they look at and say, hey, that's
a problem. Like I would say Philly's a better team
than them. I still think Boston's a better team than
them next year based on what they've done. And Cleveland's
a better team the Knicks.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
I just I like the move.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
It'll be fun to watch him in a new place
and to see him, you know, in Miami and see
how they kind of you know, wrap their arms around
him literally in South Beach. Now that he's there, I
just don't know that this necessarily all of a sudden
vaults them up to the NBA title chart like maybe
some of the other moves in the past have like
that's it just doesn't feel like that to me.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Okay, but and that's okay, Yeah, hey, it is okay.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
But pat Riley did uh did take time right to
uh to point out one of the big issues that
has gone on in the NBA that we talked about
over the past several days, and one of those issues
was whether or not Bam outa bio hit Tyler Hero
in front of an AAU team in Las Vegas. Now,
I'm on the record as saying I'll believe it when

(09:55):
I see it. If there's not an effing video of this,
it never happened. This is all NBA drama. It's Vegas.
You got cameras everywhere all right there. Everybody's got a
camera in Vegas. Even the guy with you know, with
one leg that that LeVar saw when we were out
there for the draft at one time on the street,
that guy's got a camera. Like there's thing that there

(10:15):
are people there with cameras that could have been that
could have documented It's probably not.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
They could have documented this and it hasn't happened yet.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
So well.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
That said, pat Riley made sure to shout out Bam
out of bio and even reference the altercation that took
place in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
I know that I was remiss in mentioning one guy,
and I don't want to get knocked out.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
You know.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Bam was one of those guys that came in here too.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Bam was like twenty nineteen, came in here and he's.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Been He's been basically the foundation of this organization since then.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
The fact that pat Riley alluded to it that way
leads me to believe that it was a matter of
time before Tyler hero is going to be elsewhere like that, like.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Joking about him knocking Yeah, you know what I mean.
Just hey, when when you win, everything you say is funny.
When when you're when you're a success in life, everything
you say is funny, man.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
And that's just how it works, hey man. Pat Riley's
had a hell of a run. Like the coach of
the Showtime Lakers.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
People forget about those Nicks in the nineties, Like he
was the coach of that team, completely changed the entire
outlook and culture in New York with the Knicks. Like
those teams were physical, always throwing down. Then he gets
to the heat. You've seen what he's done there, Like
he's had a hell of a run. I just don't
think it's going to result in the title with this team.
That's you know, but hey, if if people are feeling

(11:47):
better about things and Giannis can get out of Milwaukee
and now Tyler Herro goes back home away we go
with the NBA and the the offseason discussion when it
comes to the NBA. By the way, I do want
to find there is a an NBA on TNT A
bit cooped, can you see if there's there's if there's
a way that we can find this and play. There's
no cursing because it was on TNT back in the day,

(12:10):
but it was Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith and it
was Shack talking about the issues with playing games in
South Beach for NBA players, And yeah, they broke it
down pretty tremendously as far as just sort of what
goes on all the you know, all the I guess

(12:34):
extra curriculars that are out there when you go to Miami,
and so I would I would imagine maybe Giannis is
going to experience a little bit of that, but you know,
probably going to be focused on trying to to prove
that he's still a top star in the league following
whatever the hell last year was with the injury and whatnot.
And that was, by the way, one of the reports
that came out that kind of downplayed Lebron having serious

(12:58):
interest in going back to Miami is that apparently Lebron
loved it, but maybe his family wasn't crazy about going
back to Miami. That was one of the reports that
I saw was that, right, the family didn't want well,
which is what you know, might make a little bit
of sense. It might make some sense as to why
the family wouldn't be interested in going to Miami. Which

(13:20):
one of the great tragedies I think going on in
sports right now is the fact that the super Bowl
is not going to be back in Miami for quite
some time based on the rotation.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
So Roger Goodell's wife doesn't want them, well, I mean,
I get to have that super Bowl in Miami, Like apparently.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
There's some issue with they need they need upgrades or
they need you know things, and I remember being there.
You were there at that Super Bowl last time out
before COVID shut everything.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
There, and there was.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
It didn't seem like anything needed to be upgraded, to
be honest with you, like it seemed like everybody was
having a good time. Everybody was down at that hotel
bar and they were taking in the sights and sounds,
and then all of a sudden COVID popped in. And
then if you remember going to the to the meat
did you ever did you go to the media center
at all during that Super Bowl week in Miami during
it for Radio Row. Everybody was packed in there like

(14:11):
sardines and they didn't have any food, They had no water,
they had they had nothing for anybody except an espresso
cart and they were making espressos, uh with they cavasitos,
I think they call them. They were making them in
front of everybody and people were just getting ripped off
off espressos in Miami.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
So I don't know if that led with a fun
super Bowl. Man, it was great. It was great.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Like you just walked like there's always something to do.
There's literally always something to do. And it was by
the way, it's different than Vegas to where you know,
we talked about it. You know, we rarely saw the
light of day because you were just all the hotels
were attached to each other, so you're almost trapped inside
to where the Luxores attached to the Mandalay Bay, which
is attached to the Excalibur, which is attached to MGM Grand.

(15:00):
So you really can't get out unless you unless you
really are trying to, or you're going to the steakhouse
like you did, or I went out, you know, to
go see you know, go see a buddy of mine.
But in Miami, all you want to do is get
out because you walk across the beach like you're on
South Beach. It was a Fox super Bowl, so there
was always something going on. They sort of had the

(15:21):
keys to the city as far as the setup with everything,
but based on the rotation and maybe some of the
upgrades they need to make, not gonna happen anytime soon.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Man.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Even the Orange Bowl we went there for Notre Dame
and Penn State, like even that, just the setup being
at the stadium, being around the stadium, it was awesome.
So I hope you honest enjoys it, but you're not
gonna get a Super Bowl there anytime soon.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
By the way, Coop, do we find NBA Championship? Yeah,
that too, Coop. Do we find the NBA on TNT.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Charles Barkley, I will find it because it is It
is worth playing because they break down exactly what Giannis
can expect when it comes to Miami coming up down
the road. By the way, I know this man, for
your honis new frontier. It's a new frontier in Miami,
all right, and he's got to he's got to get
things together when it comes to uh come this new

(16:14):
frontier that he's embarking on with the Miami Heat. I
definitely know that, definitely know it's a new frontier for him.
So hopefully you can.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
That's funny that you would say new frontier, because well,
when you're talking about those frontiers, well, you don't want.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
To car that vehicle excuse me? That messes around, right?

Speaker 1 (16:34):
You wanna you want to get in one of those
whips that well, they do it right, and they do
it right during the week so that you can pack
up and enjoy a nice cool tailgate during the week end.
Jonas Knox, and you know what, the only way you
could do that is by getting into one of those
vehicles that doesn't mind getting a couple scratches, getting a

(16:54):
little mud on, to get a little dirt when you
get it done. You can only get that done with
the Nissan Frontier. That's right, the twenty twenty six Nissan
front Tier. That's the one you gonna want.

Speaker 3 (17:08):

(18:49):
if you've been listening to this show over the past
month or so, there is something that has taken the
country and the planet by storm and the planet. It's
a brand new game show, all right. Because those of
you that are listening on the iHeartRadio app globally, you've
heard this over the past several weeks. It's a little
something called ray Rays Roulette, and it's back for more.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Then ral Wheel Goes where the ball lands. Only Ray
Ray knows.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
It's Radio Roulette this week.

Speaker 8 (19:21):
Name that movie, all right, fellas, we are testing your
sports movie knowledge. I have quotes from famous sports movies
throughout forever. I have remakes, I have originals. So LeVar
and Jonas, it is your job to match the quote
to its movie.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
But this is no team effort. You are the movies
or we got to guess the movie. I'm giving you
the quote. You attached the quote to the movie.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
By the way, if you are a fan of gambling,
so Brendan Soresby, if you're listening, I would bet on
LeVar to win this.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
I will not be good. I don't know. I'm telling you, yeah,
I do not.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
I walked into the other the studio and Lorena and
Coop shouted at me to get out.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
So this has been all the envelopes that don't see
me in there with that.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
But it also By the way, did Coop have some
influence on this because he's an actor, so he had
some influence.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
On on how this works? No, does not me at all.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Right.

Speaker 8 (20:18):
I tried to get him involved and he didn't even
respond to me half the time.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
You're asking me a questions like I know what you're doing.

Speaker 6 (20:24):
Uh, but no, I haven't seen like most of the
famous sports movies, I haven't seen. It's like a category
of movie that I'm just I don't know. Really, I
haven't seen Hoosiers. Really, yeah, I haven't seen Rocky.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
Wait what I want to unsee? Liar liars?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (20:45):
I want to so bad, Coop, you've never seen Rocky?
That made me hate you for like two seconds? Oh
my god, two seconds. I still love you. Sorry, I'm
back to loving you now, but for two seconds I
actually hated.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
By the way, For people that are not familiar the movie,
Liar Liar, Justin Cooper is the little kid in the movie,
right he like he's like, he's got an IMDb page.
You can go find him. And there's multiple roles you've
been in. You've never seen Rocky?

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Really? Yeah, geez, you know Stallone. It's just I can't
I don't know. I can't do it. I I get it.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
You know, here's the problem to LeVar. If he watched
it now, I don't know that it would still last
at this point.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah, like we watched it a lot, well, we watched
it a long time ago, so it's kind of near
and dear to our heart.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
If you look at some of the fight scenes, just
not great, just not that's not being hater. I mean,
Creed still is, is making Michael B. Jordan, Anthony Jordan
Lynn super super famous and successful. Yeah, Creed the Creed
and all Creed is is Rocky.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
That's just this this time for can I just say this, Coop,
if you are going to go down the Rocky franchise,
don't start with Rocky five. Just don't that That's that's
where things kind of went. It's like watching Jaws two
instead of the original. Just that's where things went sideways.
So all right, so, uh, Lorena.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Watched Rocky, Coop, that's ridiculous, bro man. I don't don't
be that person in a room that says I've never
seen Rocky. Don't don't be that guy. Not one more
day of your life.

Speaker 8 (22:28):
Coop, I didn't watch Liar Liar until I started working here.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Yeah, I mean, oh wow, so don't hate you're a lawyer.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
And by the way, hey, you could feel how you
want about Sylvester Stallone. That guy was so committed to
making that movie he sold his dog to pay for it,
and then after the movie hit, he went and bought
the same dog back.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
I swear, I swear to god. I think they're making
in a movie about Sylvester. I think I think they're
doing a documentary on the Rocky franchise. That's impressive.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
So yeah, trying to put Coop up on game. Mister
Coop Scoop on entertainment. Never seen Rocky.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
All right, all right, let's let's play exactly what I wanted.

Speaker 8 (23:16):
I wanted these movies to start conversations.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
So we're off to a good start.

Speaker 8 (23:20):
Our first quote. Remember, kid, there's heroes and there's legends.
Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. First one to
know it, just call out your name, or just call.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Out the movie. Jonas, what is it? Jonas Sandlot? Oh,
wouldn't have got it. I wasn't.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
I remember the dog from Sandlot. That's about it. I
don't really remember the movie me too. I remember the
kid because he looks so unique, the one kid that
had that unique look to him.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
Other than that, I don't. I don't remember the Sandlot.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
By the way, that the kid who played Smalls, like
the main character who they brought into the group to
play with them. He was last seen on TMZ taking
like a brick to his neighbour's car, like he was
all strung out. Where are they now in Hawaii? All

(24:15):
the beautiful things to do in Hawaii? And you're like,
is that Small's throwing a cinder block through my front windshield?
Like it's just hey, man, uh, you know you gotta
be careful out there? A lot of pitfalls?

Speaker 4 (24:27):
What else we got?

Speaker 9 (24:28):
Right?

Speaker 6 (24:28):
Ray?

Speaker 8 (24:28):
Next movie quote, great moments are born from great opportunities, LeVar, LeVar,
who we got?

Speaker 4 (24:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
A second.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
That's the that's the Miracle movie.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Are you looking these up? Yes?

Speaker 2 (24:49):
He is?

Speaker 1 (24:50):
How would I have looked that up? That wasn't enough
time to look that up. It was Kurt Russell that
said it.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
And I should have known that too, because Kurt Russell
grew up a thousand oaks. Am I right?

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Dang, this whole thing's a scam. I looked it up.
How did I look it up? You weren't looking at
the camera. It feels a little scammy. I'm looking at
so I'm looking at social media. Are I believe you?

Speaker 8 (25:23):
I believe you?

Speaker 4 (25:24):
All right? Our next movie quote he's prepping for the
Argentina Spain game.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
No, I'm looking it up. How would I have looked
that up that quickly? Like I've typed in that whole
saying that quickly. Come on, y'all, don't do that. So
y'all don't want to give me no credit for getting
a good get It was a guest. Guest, go ahead,
I guess.

Speaker 8 (25:48):
How can you not be romantic about baseballs?

Speaker 4 (25:53):
What? Why would you do baseball? You've done hockey, You've
done base balls? What was theirs? What was the first one?
The sound Sandlot? Also, yeah, two baseballs and one hockey? Like,
I don't want to play this game, Sam, I'm.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Out Sandlot was baseball. But you know it was your guest,
the star baseball. The star of the movie is ventured
into narcotics now, so it's more like narcos than it
is Sandlot.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
Give your guests, Jonas, I mean, your answer Moneyball.

Speaker 8 (26:22):
Oh my gosh, Jonas, you're doing better than I expected.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
Well, you keep giving them baseball movies. He's got the
two baseball movies. Let's go baseball. Can we do football?

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Can we do that?

Speaker 2 (26:35):
That one for you?

Speaker 8 (26:37):
Are you ready?

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Can we say this baseball has the best movies. I'll
just I'll put that out there right now, the ring.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
All right.

Speaker 8 (26:45):
The only game I'll play with you is slapped the
point shaven white boy until he cries like a baby
back bitch.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
What's that from?

Speaker 3 (26:54):
I don't know, Jonas, Jonas what Bams said to Tyler
Hero No say one more time? Do I do I
lose a point for that?

Speaker 4 (27:08):
No, you do not.

Speaker 8 (27:09):
The only game I'll play with you is slap the
point shaven white boy until he cries like a baby
back bitch.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
I swear to god. LeVar said that to me during
a breakdown. I did I know. I'm like, man, did
you take that from me? Was my mic on? Yeah?
I don't, I don't. Oh, okay, this one stumped you boys.
This one is from the longest yard. Yeah, I wouldn't
have got that one. Yeah, not bits and pieces?

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (27:37):
All right? And which one? Which one? Lorena? The remakes
for sure.

Speaker 8 (27:41):
Okay, the one Toddam Sandy, that one's the one. I
like our next quote. It ain't about how hard you hit,
it's about how hard.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
You can't get hit. And Jeep moving forward. That's Rocky LeVar. Yeah,
I mean he yelled at the bat sports like you
finished the quote. I feel like you should get I
mean I wasn't getting the second here. I knew the
I knew the gist of it.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
There are clear there are clear rules here, and there
was a an infraction that just took place. He yelled
at the name of the movie before he yelled at
his name, and I.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
Said, you could do either of those. I said, you
could call out the name of the movie or your
name first.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
I mean, if judge, if the judge was here, I mean,
this whole thing would be and we put a stop
to this.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Well, Judges, we would still be in jail waiting to
get here with the judge. Right, So let's let's just
go ahead and take what we can get this. It's
like Marcel's Wiley getting rest on a holiday week.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
The worst weekend to get through that holiday. Frida didn't
do anything.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
You get thrown in on Friday night Judge left Friday night. Bro,
you're in there until at least Monday, Monday afternoon.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Oh my god, you.

Speaker 8 (28:53):
Boys are tied right now. Two for Jonas, two for
our But var does get the extra little that onto
our next quote. Yeah, it's never the wrong time to
do the right thing.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
Oh, I know, this time to do the right thing?
A good good quote. Why can't I place it right now?
It's a great quote, but I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
I'm gonna try it, just because it just seems like
it would be a character quote, so it would come
from like a character type movie we already did. It
just seems like something that would come from maybe Denzel.
I'm gonna go remember the Titans. But I could be
all the way wrong, but just I'm gonna take a

(29:48):
stab at it, LeVar. I'm gonna go Titans, Remember the Titans.
I know it's wrong, but yeah, I know it's wrong.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
I was thinking it sounded like something Denzel would say too.
It's like, let's as the most I mean, thank you, Coop.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
You know, it just sounds like a black man that
wants to be a fatherly figure in football coaching or
would actually say it's never.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
The wrong time to do the right thing. It wouldn't
be wrong. It wouldn't give you a It would not
be wrong.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
This one.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
Okay, it has a shopping cart in the movie. Oh okay,
I know. Well, I mean, how would Coop say, okay,
don't watch sports movies. I've seen this, I've seen this.
Then it's probably on Jonas's side of things. And I
don't know. I don't know this movie a shopping card.

(30:41):
Give another hint, little giants. No, the movie's Radio, Lorena,
that is not one of the best sports movie. Let
me tell you something.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Cuba Gooding Junior acting like a short bus rider is
not what are the best?

Speaker 4 (31:00):
One of the best sports movies in the history of
sports movies. I'm sorry, Sorry, I did not say from
the best. I just said famous sports movies, and that
is that's famous.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
That ain't famous. E ain't best, ain't famous. Okay, that
was Scott No strike that one strike that Lorena. You
gotta do better in Lorena's uh on your second, you
gotta do better.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Let's try this one. You got all these great sports
movies and you pull him from radio? Are you kidding me? Hey?
You got anything from the Ringer And Coop knew it.
So Coop was watching the movie relating to Cuba like radio.
So the radio, you know, he got a Razzie Award
from Worst Actor.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Oh my god, So let me get this straight. Coop's
not seen Rocky, but that was him in real life.
So unless he's grabbing ass, so let me get that straight.
So Coop doesn't know Rocky, but he can't he knows
quotes from radio. When she said the shopping cart, that's

(32:05):
shopping I thought, jackass shopping cart pool radio team, are.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
We talking about it? That is crazy cart.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
The whole movie.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
You ought to be ashamed of yourself. They should take
your sad cart away. We are talking sports.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Movies and Lorena using raopping cart as as an example.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
As a clue. Tomatoes on radio. Oh my god, what
do you mean? Okay, here's the next quote.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Who's a who's a who's another actor in the movie? Loreno,
you don't know exactly? Good great movie? Hey who played
the shopping cart? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (32:42):
Yeah, yeah, Harris is in that movie? All right, give
us a hint. Who's starred as the shopping cart? It
was justin Cooper. He was all along.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
He was the lead.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
Look at him, roll down that side walk how do
you think I knew immediately when she gets like Cuba
did a hell of a job pushing me down that
sat walk. All right, let's see, let's see who gets
this one. Boys, Well, you're gonna win or you're gonna lose.

Speaker 8 (33:19):
Either way.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
The sun's gonna come up the next morning. These are
so generic. N wow, this is I'm shocked you're not
getting this one. I thought this was gonna be one
of those I can finish it with you quotes. Oh really, yeah,
Well you're gonna win or you're gonna lose. Either way.

(33:41):
The sun's gonna come up the next morning. It's not memorable.
You're not hit memorable. Can you give a hint? It
has to do with tonight? What Friday night?

Speaker 8 (33:57):
Yeah, there you go do it.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
By the way, I've never seeing that. You just uh,
you gave away the day. So that's how I knew it.
I've never seen it. I shouldn't even get credit for that.

Speaker 8 (34:05):
I thought you were gonna get that.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
One, bar.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
Billy Bob Thornton, I don't. I don't remember.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
There was much better parts, Like if you would have said,
if you would have said something like like God got
got something about God for us too, like like God
smiles on us too, or something like when.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Preach when preacher or was a preacher. Yeah, when Preach
was talking in the locker room, I had.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
There are memorable moments with memorable you know quotes, but
that one wasn't one of them.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
But that's it's not one of them. All right, that's
all right? Go ahead, come on? Are we ready? Yes?
Are you sure? Yes, we're still tied up right? Yes? No,
I think Jonas just took the lead right now. Yeah,
but I don't take the lead. I don't feel great
about it. I don't feel great about that. You gave
them the day.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
No, I.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
You gave them the day you like tonight? She went
from she went from shopping car to the day of
the week, the day, and you say it tonight.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
So let's see, it's Friday all the next sports movie
groundhaul day for me.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
But go ahead, now, that's what I call high quality
h Come on, man, come on, Adam Sandler the water.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
This is such a bs because because Adam Sandler's character
was based on the bar in college.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
I'm tired. That's a true story. That's a true story.
Is it really?

Speaker 2 (35:34):
That is.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Story? Who I had no idea. You're talking to the
I'm going to watch it against anything. The player, the
plays that he was making. I'm not the water boy,
but the plays I was number nine.

Speaker 8 (35:49):
Got to finish this tie break, ready to go. Anybody
can fake being a leader, But when it comes down
to the crunch, you gotta have it in your heart.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
That sounds like a football movie, The Crunch. It don't
sound like a football movie to me. When it comes
down to the Crunch.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
God, what's the what's the key on? You gotta have
it in your heart? What's the ke replacements? No way,
not the replacements? Oh my, comes down to the crunch.
You gotta have it in your heart. That is so corny.
I wouldn't motivate it and inspire your That's a cheeseball movie.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
And it's got ball, So let's let's go. Uh And
she seems to have an infatuation with radio is it?
Is it the Agent movie with Tom Cruise?

Speaker 3 (36:42):
What? What?

Speaker 4 (36:43):
What movie is that?

Speaker 9 (36:44):
Jerry maguire, Jerry McGuire, you have one shot, Jonas, one opportunity,
the Crunch.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
I'm trying to think of football movies.

Speaker 8 (36:57):
What's Anybody can fake being a leader, But when it
gets down to the crunch.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
You gotta have it in your heart any given Sunday.

Speaker 8 (37:13):
All right, fellas, it looks like you tied up this round.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
What's the movie? Remember the Titans? God, Yeah, that was
not one of the best quotes in there. If you
would have hit the I win, That's what I like.
I'm here to win. That's what I do.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
I win like if you would have hit us with
like one of the memorable like you just picking random
things that people in these movies have said. Lorena, it's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

Speaker 6 (37:38):
Bar it was.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
It's great. That was a great game. That was fun.

the you, being the impetus for Adam Sandler's Waterboy character
come about?

Speaker 4 (39:13):
Did he reach out to you or there? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (39:16):
No.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
He showed up to practice and they were like, Adam
Sandler's coming today, Adam Sandler's going to be here. And
we were like, okay, no, you know that's cool, like
figging Adam Sandler. And he ends up coming to practice.
We meet him, We talked to him, and we're in
the locker room and he comes up to my locker
and he sits down with me. He's talking to me,

(39:38):
and he was like, yeah, you know, it's pretty cool
because when we were, you know, doing the movie, they
were basing they were trying to find who the base
his character off of, like like how the plays not
not like the character character, but the like how he played,
how he.

Speaker 4 (39:56):
Attacks, Yeah, how he played the position.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
And and I guess they had pool film of me
and he was watching me and then he ended up
coming to the practice to see see me do it
in person.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
He was like it was freaking cool, so cool. Every
other word was like a curse word.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
He signed, He signed an autograph for me, like gave
me an inscription and everything on like his like you
know we are or whatever it was.

Speaker 4 (40:22):
I lost it lost, it happened. But yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
So next time you watch The water Boy, know where
that character came from. Yeah, you're a legend haha.
