just slipped my Oh, I know what it was to
football Friday. Yeah, football Friday, Baby, come on football Friday.
(02:10):
So kiss my Friday. Come off blah blah Friday Tembo.
Tell about trying to feel, just trying to feel. Sometimes
the systems don't fire off you you ever, Like look
(02:33):
at Jonas when he sat stuff, what the hell are
you saying? You know, I'm just just kiss my ask.
It's like it's weird. I'm to the point now where
I just I get it, like I just get it,
like I'm just that's that's a jonas for a wild
child over here. Well, I'm watching what you're doing too,
so I got yep, yeah, yeah, I get it. I
(02:59):
just I just I understand. Oh man, I understand the
dynamics around. Understand why the door stays open in the
control room. I understand why you say things that you say.
I just I get it all. Yeah, it's just that
backdoor back to back door open. You ever notice it
never closes three of them? It used to be closed. Um,
(03:25):
just you know there used to be closed. Yeah, I did. Yeah,
and then what happened? Well, anytime you can see Lee's
face and facial expressions through the window, Lee, what did
you eat last night? What can we guess? Don't say it?
Every everybody, everybody taking guesses to what I mean? Mine
would have been Burtoe's response, But I can't say that
(03:48):
on Brady, what's your guess? What? I think it had
a hell opinions in it. Whatever he did eat, I'm
gonna go, Yeah, I'm gonna go Indonesian kebabs with a
side of spicy rice. I don't think he was that
daring on a Thursday. Heats weird stuff, man, Yeah, but
(04:10):
I don't think he was that. I think it was
more simple, like it was something fast. It was a
fast food dip. What is it? Lee? I was gonna
make a steak, um, but the girl she wanted some spaghetti.
So I made a very spicy turkey based spaghetti sauce.
Very good, just a sauce. Well, no, I made the
whole thing. But how do you make it spicy? We
put some red pepper flakes in. There was lots of
(04:31):
red pepper flakes, you know, hallapos. I thought about it,
but no, I don't. I didn't didn't quite make sense. No,
A lot of onions, a lot of red pepper flakes. Yeah, nice,
little spicy. She couldn't quite a She couldn't. She didn't
like it was too spicy for her. But I thought
it was great. Now you're just blowing out Burt. Oh,
all right, And by the way he revels in his back,
(04:57):
how bad it smells. Here's the best part though, because
initially Lee, you could tell that something was bruined because
he would walk out the back door and stand closer
to the door that enters the entire studio. And now
he doesn't even do that. It's like it's like they've
been married for so long that leaves like, well, you're
just gonna smell me. That's how it is when you
when you walk in there, you could tell that they're
(05:17):
spraying some type of cologne. Like every time I go there,
there's like a cologne smell in there. And and it's
frustrating because we tried to create this war and it
doesn't overpower the cologne spray smell that's going on, is
what it is. Once LaVar declared war, I had stopped
eating out so much, so now it's not as bad anymore. Yeah. Interesting,
(05:42):
that's weird. Little war going on. Birds birds approaches. I
mean that sound is so gross. It is one of
the most disgusting. Bring a change of underwear with you
to work? Yeah? I want to not. I mean, I
don't you. I have a change of underwear in my
car at all times, but I don't really because my
gym bag. That's weird. I always have a change of
(06:04):
clothes in the car. Just what we get in my
gym bag. It's not an earthquake kit like I kind
of use it there too. Come onwhere Lee? When I
asked this question, please do not feel disrespected, But do
you work out? I do Okay, I don't know. We
never like talked about this. Well, I think I did
(06:25):
not mean that to be a joke. I was. I
was seriously asking, we've never talked about it. I got
nothing to talk about. I mean, like Jonas will talk
to me about what he does. LaVar will say that
he doesn't work out, although I don't believe that. I
don't great by the way, you've lost. Can you tell yes, honestly? Yes? Nice?
Thanks man, I appreciate that. Give me some of that, man, Yeah,
(06:47):
I appreciate that. Man about it. I mean, can you
tell Berto? Nah? I appreciate somebody keeping it real. I
was keeping it real. I just we'd never have talked
about this lead. That's only reason I ask. Yeah, it's something.
I mean, I think Lee looks as though he's not
(07:08):
as out of shape as he was at one point. Yeah.
I fluctuate throughout the year. Yeah, a little like maybe
a month or two ago. What do you do for
your work healthy? Look great? Man? What do I do
for my workouts? Yeah, I'm half hour cardio, half hour
oft of weights, and a half hour in the sauna
or steam room. Nice, all right, it's good stuff. Hour
(07:31):
and a half yeh, way too long? Is that too long? Yeah?
How much time in our tops? Our top? Get it in,
get it out? A half hour of his a sauna
that doesn't really you know, yeah, any anything more than
an hour. I feel like we're getting diminishing returns here. Really,
he's just chilling in the sauna. Yeah, gets me in there,
(07:54):
that's what it motivates me as the sauna. Yeah, and
then the smoothie after yeah. Yeah, I know that burn. Yeah,
like a thermo. All the toxins out, man, all this stuff.
So they sweat, so they cut weight, and then you
go to the bar and then put it all right
back in here. I can't, by the way, that is
(08:15):
a real thing, because I've seen there's a there's a
Gold's gym next to my brother's restaurant, and I see
people all the time walk straight from the Gold's gym
into happy hour. I'm thinking about there's no protein on tap. Okay,
there's nothing there, but people just get after it, go
straight to the bar right right after, right after getting
(08:36):
a lift in. So Lea's not alone on that. So Hayley,
I think you look great, man. I think everybody last great.
Guys look great to Mr positive here. Everybody else like
the way Burdo sounds though, that's that's that's the only
not not good thing. Berto looks like. If Enrique Iglesias
could fight, that's who Berto looks like about that Sandy
(09:00):
Burdo be sounded like he's choking with water. That's what
sounds like water, gargling and choking you. It's not in
your throat. What basically sounds like it's being waterboarded, yes,
but not in his face. Uh so um. From the
(09:25):
from that, go to the other place, to the go
to Australia, from that gargling in Australia to the muffled
part of the NFL, which is a Dallas Cowboy, that's
all what you did there, Jerry Jerry Jones was talking
(09:45):
about the Eagles plan and path to get to where
they are, and Jerry Jones wanted to make it clear
that they're doing one thing, but the Dallas Cowboys have
a different method and a different approach. Here was the
Cowboys owner. Anybody that thinks I want to take a chance,
who has misread the tea leaves. But I do think
(10:07):
longer term, and I'm real hesitant to bet at all
for a year and there's a lot of things that
can happen for that year. In essence, we're seeing a
couple of teams that have had some real success putting
it all out there and paying it, paying for it
later in Philadelphia and say and really a Los Angeles,
(10:30):
that's pretty impressive to have two teams in the last
two years empty the bucket and get to the super Bowl.
But you're drafting developed. If you miss, you miss it
is a long ago. I like where we are right now,
more in the middle. Yeah, I want me some glory. Help.
Who doesn't he his long term plan has been long
(10:50):
term is hell? Yeah, I was gonna say, what is
that long term plan? Well, let's wait over thirty years
cover circuits. At what point is long term become like
we gotta pay out on this long term plane. And
by the way, the Rams won it last year, if
the Eagles would this year, that's the goal. You're trying
(11:11):
to win a super Bowl. So you can say whatever
you want about less needs, you know, f them picks
and all that. It worked. They want a super Bowl.
That that's the whole goal. So Jerry Joe and saying
well to super Bowls, which is still that's I mean,
if you're gonna say you're you're betting at all. They
did go to two Super Bowls and one one. Yeah.
The interesting thing about their roster structure, which I don't
(11:34):
know maybe Jerry is not looking at it, but let
me just list off to you some guys who would
be unrestricted free agents after this year. Fletcher Cox, Robert quinn,
Brendan Graham, Javon Hargrave, Jason Kelsey, uh, James Bradberry, and
(11:54):
Dominican Sue Lynvold Joseph. You know all those guys have
in common. Yeah, you know how how much their veterans.
They're all over thirty, with the exception of Hargrave who's
almost thirty and James Bradberry, who will be thirty by
next season. I mean that's kind of typical, right, Like
(12:17):
those guys get older in age and at least in
regards to Robert quinn Um and Dominican Sue Lival Joseph,
those guys were signed on during the season because they
were making a playoff run. Like, isn't it exactly how
you'd want to? I mean, Sue costs you two million bucks,
Linval Joseph two million bucks. Robert Quinn. I mean, you
took on a much bigger portion of what he's being paid.
(12:40):
But again, I just I look at it and go
I would argue, like, that's exactly how you want to
build it. You've got some older veteran players you gotta
make decisions on. Jason Kelsey could probably retire after this,
especially if they win right and be done at thirty
five years old, But the rest of the roster is
under contract and under that, Like, I think that's exactly
(13:03):
how you you'd wanted to be. I mean, there's some
other players, right, You've got Andre Dillard and because you're white,
or Boston Scott Zach, Pascal, Miles Sanders, you know those
guys are younger, but those are all guys you'll be
able to sign back for relatively cheaper replace. They drafted them,
didn't they know they drafted Miles. I'm not sure about
everybody else, but the right those are draft picks. So
(13:26):
I listen. I started off with saying it sounds like
a little bit of eagle hate. I'm gonna start this
hour off with it sounds like a little eagle hate,
a little ego envy. I mean, Jerry bro You're somewhere
in the middle. That's true. You are somewhere in the middle.
You have remained somewhere in the middle since what Switzer,
(13:52):
Jimmy Jones, Jimmy Johnson, that's the last time you you
you were at the top. So I doesn't it doesn't
like a conference champion who's reading the tea leaves and
what are those tea leaves that he's addressing. What exactly
are they saying? That's what they're saying, because that's where
(14:15):
you can be because you're not in this game. You know,
you're not playing in this game. And I just I
just wonder, like, listen, I'm a fan of Jerry Jones.
And the reason why I'm a fan of Jerry Jones
is because he has built a brand that has endured
mediocrity and and it continues to gain momentum, gain value.
(14:38):
It has never Dallas has never lost value. And believe
you me, I've seen the other and the other side
of it, where a team that if you're really, if
we're comparing, I mean Washington really in a lot of
ways is not that much different in contrast to Dallas,
(15:03):
but yet that fan base is deterior rating. The interest
level deteriorating the I mean the value of it going down.
It's not it's nowhere near as valuable as what it
was when in in two thousands. In fact, I think
in two thousand they were like the number three, number
(15:24):
two something to that effect, grossing franchise. And and like
I want to say, the US, if I recall correctly,
I'm rusty on that. But it's up it was up there.
They're they're not even a top three what top three
rated value team in the NFL now the Washington team,
(15:46):
the Washington the Commanders. But but Jerry Jones has maintained
keeping Dallas highly valued. So I believe it's the highest
value in the world. Is it from crazy from a
business a standpoint, his plan, his word better than anybody
rushing from a football standpoint, I mean, it's media. But
(16:07):
then now you gotta ask yourself the question, though, is
he winning or is he losing? If now, if you said,
if we're saying, you're reading the tea leaves wrong, Dallas
is way more relevant than Philly is, then you know what,
Like that's accurate, that's accurate, And he doesn't have to
bet at all, so to speak, because whatever it is
(16:30):
he's doing to maintain that value and that growth. It's
it's it's going on, it's happening. Everybody loves that, Like
there are way more Dallas fans then, like it's it's
it's almost it's ridiculous. Like if I'm taking if I'm
removing any type of personal bias from being from Pittsburgh
(16:50):
and the harsh memories of us losing that Super Bowl
to them, if I'm if I'm removing any biased from
them from from that being a fan, and we're just
saying it apples to apples. Jerry Jones has been one
of the most brilliant owners in all of sports so
out here, and you know, it's crazy. How much do
you think the Dallas Cowboys are worth? This is according
(17:11):
to Forbes. I mean, it's got to be approaching it's
it's three billion. No, it's almost it's almost three billion
more than the next team in value. Jesus say that again.
(17:33):
So the Dallas Cowboys and this is according to Forbes.
So this doesn't mean that like they wouldn't sell for
more than this. They're valued at eight billions. Mind you,
Jerry Jones paid a hundred and fifty for the team.
The next closest franchise is the New England Patriots at
six point four billion, one point six billion difference between
(17:55):
the two. And so imagine if those two teams went
to market, I mean you could. Who knows how much
people be willing to pay for those franchises, you know,
upon further review, Jerry Jones, You're right, sir, you are,
You are absolutely right. That's a whole lot of That's
a whole lot of tea leaves. Apologies to Jerry Jones.

So coming up in about fifteen minutes from now, as
we put a bow on this bad boy on a
football Friday, there is uh, there's some brewing at the
(19:01):
super Bowl. Some people are trying to get something done.
We'll have that for you here again a little over
fifteen minutes from now. But right now, let's turn it
over to the man himself, Albert Brier, senior NFL reporter
at the MMQB. You can get him on Twitter at
Albert Brier. Normally he joined us on Thursdays. He's making
special arrangements to be here with us on a football Friday. Now,
(19:23):
are you in Mobile at the Reese's Senior Bowl or
what what's going on there? No? I was there money
through Thursday, and you know, I'm back home now, and
I sort of wish I was SOT in Alabama because apparently,
like the windshield here's gonna be like twenty below by noonday. So,
I mean, you've dealt with worse in Columbus, right, Columbus,
(19:47):
there's not that. I mean, we don't. It's not like
constantly like this series, not like you know, Minnesota that,
but we have our cold snaps missiles. It's gonna be
a pretty bad one. D snaps big time. Yeah, the
kids are home from school. I hear. I heard. It's
so cool. They don't they're not something in the school today,
Is that correct? Uh? Well, my kids in school. But yeah,
(20:08):
some of the other schools are closed, so I know
the city schools are closed. Like, um, I'll be interested
to see they send him home earlier back in my day,
Back in my day, Brady like, it would need to
be a sideway wizard for us to have school canceled.
And I can remember having a lot of day that
little and I don't know if you guys where you
guys are from, but that little school off the bottom
(20:31):
of the local news. It's all in althetical order. You're
waiting for your school to come up. Disappointment of the
elves going that Lincoln struck which was crushing back in
the Can we call them back? Yeah, a connection issue
with Albert. So we're gonna reconnect with Albert Brier here
coming up like he was hitting up to the mountain
(20:51):
to go down on a black dineond. Like the phone
lines were frozen. Yeah they're a hard time. Yeah, yeah,
you know what I mean, but I guarantee he is
clean shaven. Speaking of way, if you're still overpaying for
a razor and this economy gross, with Dollar Shave Club,
you can get a top shelf shave at a regular
shelf price. Dollar Shave Club is available at a store
near you and the men's razor aisle. That's it. That's
(21:12):
the ad. I like how you vegged it, you know, Yeah,
you gotta vege out sometimes. Yeah, I gotta make it. Yes,
that is all right. So we go back over to
the We're on blizzard, watch the Boston Blizzard, the Great
Blizzard of the Cabin. Albert, Albert Brier almost a beer.
(21:32):
Albert Brie are joining us here, Albert, All right, So
I think we're better now, no blizzard, but apparently so. Yeah.
Can I ask you why is it taken so long
for the Colts and the Cardinals to hire a head coach.
I think this is the way that these were all
going to go this year, and back a couple of months.
(21:55):
I felt this way because for one reason or another,
and I don't know why, is the way it is
this year, but this year in particular, owners are more
involved and they're not farming it out to search firms.
They're not farming out to the general managers where, you know,
and it feels like in the past there's been a
lot of cases where owners just sort of rubber stamped
the hires. Um this year, I think in all five cases,
(22:18):
the owners have been intimate, intimately involved in the process.
And I think you know what that's led to is
two things. Number One, UM, a lot of these guys
aren't quite sure what they're looking for, so they're looking
all over. And then number two, I think there's a
kid in the candy store element with this, you know,
like I wanna get information from this organization and get
(22:39):
information from that organization. I don't think that's necessarily a
bad thing, but I think there is that element that's
sort of slowing the process down. UM. And there aren't
like outside of like Sean Payton, It's not like there's
like these one or two candidates that everybody's chasing after.
You know, a lot of the names are names that
have been under the radar for a while, and so UM,
(23:00):
I think the fact that you know, you have teams
you know, out here to sort of have the power
where it's not like we need to go and get
this guy right now, or another team is gonna take
him off the market. Without that sort of tension, I
think it's slowed things down quite a bit. It's hard
to believe that we still have two left open and
we're almost a Super Bowl week. So I was just
gonna say, what's going on with mixing? Yeah, I mean
(23:23):
I I right now, you've obviously the charges out there,
um or the I guess the warrant for his arrest
is out there, and UM, you know his agent has
coming out and said that, UM, the charges are gonna
be dropped today. So you know, it's it's hard to
say too much right now with our UM. You know,
obviously a lot of people are going to tie this
(23:43):
to his history, and you know the reason why he
felt in the draft, Um, you know, five years ago,
and obviously it was a horrible incident in Oklahoma, but
he had, I mean, by all accounts, really really cleaned up,
you know, everything since then. And so I mean I
think it's you know, it's one of those where the
two sides every story and UM, you know, certainly something
that's gotta be taken very serious. Albert. I want to
(24:05):
go back to what you're just talking about in regards
to both the Colts and the Arizona Cardinals and their hirings,
that you're talking about the ownership involvement maybe playing a role. Uh,
maybe that's hartful. In the case of Indianapolis with Jimmers say,
maybe not. I don't know, um, but it seems like
that could be a hurdle for some potential head coaching
candidates either feeling like Jeff Saturday's the guy and maybe
(24:26):
you're just going in there to interview, just interview, or
just having to deal with Jim or say. And then
in the case of Arizona, is it that Cala Murray's
under contract they already have a general manager. You're kind
of walking in the door having to deal with maybe
two pieces that you'd like to have more of a
say in, Like it's got to be more than just
the ownerships being involved in the hiring process. Yeah, I mean,
(24:47):
I do think like with Indianapolis, um, they've had a
thorough process. So question about that, I mean, I don't
think it's very I think it's common that you have
seven guys coming in per second interview. What is the
process entail? Is that like you have to go out
and like listen to Jim I heard. I I actually
so I I've heard like three things I've heard on
(25:09):
the second interviews. One I've heard and this is with
the Cult specifically. One they're very long, like I I
talked to one guy who was in there for twelve
hours with them. UM. Number two, you spend one on time,
one on one time with ers um and that's obviously
a big piece of this. Number Three, they've been creative
in the way that they've done this and so UM,
(25:32):
you know, I I don't, it's just it's it's it's
interesting because you know, you look at the first phase
of the interview process and you go through that over
zoom and the idea is a pair of list down.
Then you're down to seven. So UM, you know. I
think going into this, you know, Jim Mercy wanted to
take a very real look at you have Saturday Um
as the potential next head coach, if he could fill
(25:53):
out a competence staff, and I think sort of the
goal for the other people was to talk him out
of it, you know, like whether that's Chris Ballard's deck
or they're developed their director of team development. UM. The
other people that are involved carlier saying Jim's daughter, and
I think part of their idea was like we need
to put enough you know, good people in front of
(26:13):
him where still understand we probably should go in a
different direction. And I do think it's trending in that direction.
Like I I've heard Raheem Morris, the Rand's defensive coordinator,
really impressed some Brian Callahan's another one, who Um, you know,
I think his relationship with Peyton Manning doesn't hurt. And
Brian Callahan's dad actually coached Chris Ballard back at Wisconsin
in the nineties. Um, so he's got some ties there
(26:36):
as well. So I think it's trending in the direction
of going the other way. I think there has sort
of been a process of getting Jim Mercy comfortable with
somebody else other than Jeff Saturday, who he's obviously very
very comfortable. Albert Brier, senior NFL report at the MMQB,
joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. Albert, what is
the Raiders plan at quarterback if Derek Carr is gone, Well,
(26:59):
Derek Carr will be gone. Um, you know, I I
think that's where that that's the starting point. Um. I
even heard they were a little nervous about him taking
part in the Pro Bowl games this weekend. Like, you know,
they don't want him getting hurt because that would trigger
his injury guarantee. Um. But but but, but the plan
is to move him off the roster by several whether
(27:19):
that's cutting him or trading him. And they're trying to
trade him, you know. And there are a couple of
teams in the NFC South that I think they believe, um,
you know that there might be a deal there with
but um, I think because he's got the no trade
cause because of the size of his contract, the size
of the guarantee, the fact of the guarantees going to
there's a likelihood he's gonna be cut. Um. As for
(27:42):
what they do when Derek Carr is off the roster, um,
I think Jimmy Garoppolo is one name you've got a
circle just because of the ties to the people in
the organization. Um. You know, Jared said up was a
free agent. I think they'll bring him back, not as
a starter, but as somebody to be a competitive, competitive
piece in that room. U mean, if it's not Garoppolo,
(28:03):
I think they're sort of open to all options, you know.
And I think Aaron Rodgers would be one of those,
you know, so I think, you know, with Tom Brady
now you know off the table. I think Jimmy Garoppolo
moves to the top of the list with you know,
potential swing and Aaron Rodgers coming. But they're they're they're
gonna look at all of their options, no question about it.
And you know, I can tell you for a fact,
Derek Carr is not going to be one of those options. Yeah,
(28:25):
I want to quickly follow up on that, just because
we have saw a report that the Packers do seem
like they're gonna move on from Aaron Rodgers. Everyone seems
to be connecting the dots too, with Nathaniel Hack and
Iron New York and Whendy Johnson's comments, maybe that would
be a potential destination. You just mentioned the Raiders. Where else,
you know, where else do you potentially see the Packers,
you know, moving Aaron Rodgers to at this point, well,
(28:47):
I mean part of it bra he doesn't have no
trade clause. But I mean, here's the reality. There's sixty
million dollars on his contract next year. Another team is
not going to trade for him without knowing like that.
He's okay, with that right, he doesn't have a no
trade clause, but he effectively does have a no trade clause. Um.
I do think, you know, the Jets are aware and
we're aware of what the implication was going to be
(29:09):
when they hired Nathaniel Hackett. I don't think it's why
they hired Hackett um Solow and how I can have
a longstanding relationship. But I also know something they discussed
before hiring him, and certainly wasn't a deterrent to hiring
hacke at the idea that that it that could lead you,
um to have a care at there to attract attract
Aaron Rodgers. You know. I think the presence of of
(29:31):
of of Davonte Adams in Vegas and geography of it
beep from California, I think helps Vegas there, um, you know.
And then after that, I think there are teams that
are that are going to kind of shoot their shot here.
Um Like I could see the Saints shooting their shot.
I could see the commander is doing that. I just
I don't know that he's gonna want to go to
some of these places, you know. So I think in
(29:52):
the end the list is going to be relatively short um,
I could see the Niners like entertaining it is somewhere
they are. Um. I just I mean, I look at
like their draft pick capital, I look at their cap situation,
and I look at the fact that they've got a
painting posta this offseason, and the fact that they're in
the NFC um which would mean that not which would
(30:14):
mean the Packers, you know, wouldn't probably wouldn't want to
move in there. And I just I think you know,
when he said, when Aaron Rodgers said the other day,
like it's not going to be seeing France, that felt
like an informed opinion to me, like he knows it's
probably unlikely h wants up there. He is Albert Breer,
senior NFL reporter at the m MQB. You can get

(32:04):
six am Eastern time, three o'clock, making noise, pissing people.
Are you guys excited? Hell yeah? Kicking someone's ass kicking
now we are? Now? Are we lifting during the show
while we're out there? Try and show everybody like how
we get down? You know? I do push ups in
between segments. Yeah, I'd just like to drink water. I'm
(32:27):
a lift water bottles, I do. I do Hindu squats
between segments. But I mean everybody's got racist I'm not
sure why they can. That's a real lift. It's called
a Hindu squat. What do you mean? How's that racist?
Is there more than one way to squat? Am I
missing something here? I mean, yeah, there's there's hacks squads,
squat squad, there's exploded squats. Those are big dus. Yeah,
(32:55):
front squat's great point. Yeah, squat it up, man, But
we do. There's a split legged squats, single legs squats.
But but you're still squatting. It's all like a general squat. Yeah.
But again, I mean everybody's into into certain things. The jackhammer.
(33:16):
I'm not familiar with that one. You all know about
that one, oh man, definitely don't. That's that's where you
gotta get, like, you gotta really, really really really get
good form and technique into that one, you know, and
that one yields the best hold you jackhammer and then
get down. That's correct, That's why it's called that. Yeah
makes sense. Yeah, I get it now. All right, So
(33:41):
all that will play out on Monday live from Radio
Road in Arizona there. But you know, if you guys
seen this, uh this Kelsey Bulls stuff going around because
apparently they're not big fans of it. But that does
bring us to our progressive play of the day. We're
gonna get to what everybody wants to talk about, which
(34:02):
I don't know if you guys know this, but uh,
there's two brothers playing in the super Bowl and it's
Jason and Travis Kelsey. If the world hasn't force fed
you already, yeah, if you're not tired of it yet,
which we are. Uh, we're gonna talk about the Kelso Bowl. Now.
It's only been two days. It's been two days, and
I'm already over it. I kind of don't like that
we're calling at the Kelsey Bowl. Kind of appreciate the support,
(34:23):
but let's Super Bowl. Yeah, there's a lot of guys
involved with this. There's a major organizations involved, um, you know,
and there's unbelievable storylines in the Super Bowl. Uh, we're
gonna get not asked about this question NonStop from here
till the end of the game. And I'm already over it. Well,
they can be over at all they want. There's a
petition going around that their mom do the honorary coin
(34:47):
toss before the game, and they've got like signature is
already they're really pushing for that. Is there any chance
that the NFL lets their mom come? I don't think
that's that because they can't make money off it. Yes, trying.
You're telling me Campbell's suit won't get involved or something
like that. Yeah, first off, what says they can join
(35:10):
us in second? Okay, in any other coin toss? How
is the NFL making money off that? Well, because you can.
If it's somebody out there that's got a brand, well,
let me finish. I'll say, if there's somebody out there
who's got a brand, you know, like who did the
honorary coin toss last year like n l A. I
don't know. I mean, well, you think like luminarias in
l A. I think it was a Kardashian We'll just
(35:31):
go with the Kardashian you can. You can build that
and you can promote that on social media and do
something with it help the NFL's bottom line. Do you
think it really changes like the meter at all they
need versus the They need whatever money they can get
the NFL. They're really struggling, and I feel like if
there's not an opportunity for them to make money on
(35:52):
Travis and and Jason Kelsey's mom to come out and
do the honorary coins. Did you say the biggest brand
two of the biggest brands in the game are the
Kelsey brothers. Soy coin toss like isn't in the name.
It's telling you it's like an honor just to be
doing it, So it's not like they're getting paid forward,
(36:14):
there's any sort of like thought behind it, right. Can
you gamble on the honorary coin toss? Yes, because and
by the way, it doesn't matter who's tossing it, You're
gonna gamble on the coin toss. The super Bowl regardless. Okay,
but then now you've got two players in the super
Bowl involved in their mom's involved, and now they're not
going to take bets on it. You're losing money there,
that's not true. Okay, you think they're gonna then then
(36:35):
have Calvin Ridley do the honorary coin to I mean,
if we're going to do this, let's do it the
right one. I would just say this. I think the
Jason and Travis are even more likable after this because
they understand, like one, this is gonna be a story
that continues to get talked about and talked about, talked about,
they'll get tired of it. Eventually, people will get tired
(36:55):
of it. They actually have a feel for that. So
they're like jumping ahead of it before we even get
the super Bowl week and they're like, yeah, this is
about more than just us. Even though I think it's
the coolest storyline, Like I just think two brothers squaring off,
who you know, It's just it's never happened. I don't
know when it will happen again next, So I just
I think it's really cool that they're kind of planning
(37:16):
this down even though it's one of the most unique
things we've ever seen. It almost as cool as progressive,
because progressive is making things even easier. They will help
you bundle your Homeman car insurance together so you could
save on both. Learn more Progressive dot com or one
