the Hour nine am Eastern times, six o'clock Pacific. We

(01:04):
were talking before we went to break last Hour about
how Lee the Lab burned himself in a pizza oven.
And yeah, there's some speculation that it may not be
a burn. It looks like you've gotten a knife fight.
I mean, I'll be honest, I've seen some blades that
look like they could do some damage like that, it's

(01:25):
not a burn. Only would you be comfortable sharing that
on social media for people to see? Or no? Yeah,
you know, I mean I'm sure you shared worse. But
there's there's it just it it looks, you know, it
looks a little suspect, you know, like it just seems
like there's something more going on there. Lee has been
so guilty of putting himself in curious situation. Yeah, it's

(01:51):
like curious. It would be easy, Yeah, it would be
easy to just accept that it was a burn if
you didn't know so many front backstories of the drama
that has played out with Lee Roy. Really, when Leroy
is out of um, that could be a knife cut.

(02:13):
That could be a knife cut. It could be my
sister when Lee, when you met my sister afterwards, Like
everybody you work with. Seems really really nice and she's
talking about everybody and she goes your producer. Lee seems
like just like a really like nice, sweet guy. And
I'm like, oh, yeah, you get a get a half
bottle of jamison in him and see what he turns into.

(02:34):
He's a problem, all right, don't be fooled by Lee's
just innocent persona. Yeah my ass not a fight. Yeah yeah,
it's like a self defense woond and hey, LaVar would
be the first time for actially if it was in
the front yard, you know, of somebody else's house that's

(02:57):
you thought was yours. You know, just so great, h
just lots there. H. So again we we wait to
see Lee's gonna post that on social media. People can
see Heroy Damison. Um. All right, so you know how
how popular and how successful Coach K's career has been

(03:20):
at Duke UM. There's a national championship game later on tonight,
and I promise you the only thing anybody's gonna be
talking about throughout the course of sports radio today when
it comes to the tournament is his final appearance as
a head coach. UH Coach K going down to North
Carolina after they lose their final final home game at

(03:40):
Duke and all the celebrations and they get to the
final four. Brutal way to end it for coach coach
k Mike Sachowski. But we do have a national championship
coming up later on tonight. North Carolina has been fantastic.
I think Kansas been the best team in the tournament
and uh and we get to see it all play
out as Bill self looks to win another national title.
There Rock Chalk Jayhawk abe like ten years as a

(04:02):
ten year since the Mario Chalmers shot the last second
shot to win. It was against Memphis. I can't quite recall, yeah,
because I know there was one against the Syracuse beat
Kansas in the final. I think it was against Memphis.
I think that was your guy, John Calipari was in
that within that final, Brady, you're that your guy's recruiter
of the country. Um, who we like in tonight? Who

(04:25):
are you feeling? I like Kansas what they land for
I believe so I think that's so dominant. The only
thing we're I mean, we've underestimated North Carolina throughout the
course of the tournament and their style and it just
it feels like they're hard to get a beat on.
I mean, they can get out and run, they can
shoot lights out. But uh, it was a big court.

(04:46):
As I pronounced his name, big cot that their center.
I mean, he's he was phenomenal. Eighteen rebounds, it was,
I mean, just hisself and still got up in there
and was muscling, powering through, which was pretty pretty admirable.
I don't I don't look at basketball players that way.

(05:06):
You know. Yeah, they're more sensitive, they're more you know,
they handle injuries differently. Got back out there, that is true.
I mean, I don't recall the last time we saw
an NFL player get taken off the field in like
a wheelchair or a gurney or any sort of stretcher

(05:28):
and then run back out on the field like you'll
see basketball players getting pushed off the court in a
wheelchair and then look a miragulously back out ten minutes later,
while that's happened before. Wow. I mean I did see
in the spring game the other week. I will leave
the school and the player nameless. But he did lay
there like he had just that, Like we were staying,

(05:51):
we were standing there like, oh my god. Um, I mean,
if it's if it's a cross shot like it was fatigue. Brady, Okay,
well it was fatigue at the end when when the
information was passed along directly from that player that I
happened to know it was fatigue. I said, well, why

(06:13):
would you lay there like you were dead? He said, well,
if I lay there like I'm dead, then um, I
don't have to go back in for the rest of
the scrimmage. So fatigue makes cowards of us. All well
that they say that is the same, but le because
you know, but speaking of big Cat, seeing him and

(06:37):
McCormick is going to be what I'm looking for tonight
because he was just too big and too strong for Villanova,
and he was the difference maker. If you don't have
him in that game, I believe not only does Villanova
climb back into it, I don't know that they ever
get down by that much. And I think it's a
much closer game. They never had to lead. Looks this

(07:00):
they got was six points. Yeah, because I think he
dominated them down low any anytime they would try to
get something going. He was almost the catalyst like they
were just he was too big and he was too
much for him, and and and I wonder can by caught.
Can he can he neutralize him? You know, I really

(07:23):
you know, obviously Kansas can shoot the way they did
of averages. It's got to come back to come back
to earth, right, I mean they can't they What does
that mean? I was gonna you know, I'm glad you
brought it up because I was gonna throw this at
you guys. So the line isn't four for the game? Um,

(07:44):
Kansas is a four point favorite. And look for those
of you out there that like to uh, you know,
see scoring or you know, we're looking at about one
fifty two on the shots for Carolina too though, I
mean from bombs from like the corners. I like the
over and I'll lay the points, you know what, I'll

(08:06):
take that back. I like the under. Okay, yeah, we know,
we know that didn't work out in the final. That's
all right, you know, we gotta get bounced back at
some point. I'll take the you know what, I think
Kansas wins it, but I do think it's close, so
I'll take the four points in you and see. So
then listen rock Chalk, Jayhawk and uh and and I
think it's gonna be a low scoring affair because listen

(08:28):
and Brady broke this down, and I thought you did
a brilliant job on Friday talking about this. You know,
when you're when you're shooting at a dome, you know
the backdrop, things like that, you would have difficulty. Yeah,
I heard it on a Saturday radio show too. Fox
Sports Thread. I can't remember the show. I think that. Yeah,
Final four is great. Final four preview that went to crap. Well,

(08:49):
listen much like the rest of the show. If you
heard it on Saturday. Look, I I felt like maybe
there would be a chance that it would be dip
go for these teams to shoot. Next thing, you know,
about two minutes into the game, Kansas, Kansas has thirty points.
On the morning, I'm like, oh god, here's what I
love about Jonas. Jonas will make a statement about something

(09:10):
and say it wholeheartedly like he believes it. He has
like zero data information to back that up. He's just
saying to be like, no, no, it makes common sense.
So I'm gonna go ahead and say this on live.
There were guys that hadn't even scored in games prior,
like like multiple games, that were still shooting and putting

(09:31):
up crazy points. You know, But I'll say this the
way that that Carolina was playing. If they can get
good ball play, if they if they could get good
good good ball played down low with their bigs, if

(09:55):
they could get it, if they could get it, I
think the Slashers for U n C might be the difference.
Like Love, Um, I think Caleb Love and know those
guys like I think, I think if they're if they're
able to to, I think they will be able to

(10:15):
get to the to the basket. I think you and
See I know, I know Kansas is the probably the
better team, but I just think you and c might
be able to to be athletic enough to to if
they can control the boards. I think that that's I
think that's the difference. If you buy tickets to the

(10:36):
Final Four, do you get into every game or is
it just for the two games on Saturday. And the
reason I asked this is because his Eric Church going
to go to this game too, since he's such a
fanboy of of North Carolina that he burned all the
people that bought tickets to I could be wrong, but
I don't think he's got a concert plan for a
Monday night, so I think, yeah, it's fair to say

(10:58):
he's probably gonna go given that, uh not too many
concerts are held on the Monday. Well listen, I mean
concerts are held on Mondays, you know there. Yeah, there
are some for lower level bands, like I was in
one of those, and that was that's just you playing
it up. That's a that's a showcase for four people. Listen.
I don't know to tell you fancy words. I'm just

(11:19):
wondering whether or not I'm just wondering whether or not
the church choir as they call themselves, uh you know
those uh, those idiots that pay money for a concert
only to see their hero or not show up. I
just wonder if they were, you know, what they thought
of the game, they got a refund, who cares? All right,
I guess you know that'd be finding a babysitter. And

(11:40):
for this guy, I just I think I think it's terrible.
We we don't do that to uh, you know, to
our fans, uh, you know, the the whatever they want
to call themselves, the Jayoffs or I had a show
schedule Penn State made it to the Big Ten Championship
or made it to college playoff, and it fell at
a time where I needed to travel and go, uh

(12:02):
see my team and see see them play. I love
you fans, love you Brady, love you Jonas. Well, let
me tell you something. If I t g I Fridays
or Chucky Cheese ever appears in the final four, I'll
never leave the show to show up and watch them play.
I saw you dancing like pop blocking and and your Yeah,

(12:23):
I saw that. It made the round. Yeah, that guy's
got nothing on me. No, no, I thought it was you.
I'd blow towards him. I don't know. That was a dance.
And that was a dance. And Chucky if you asked me,
it was probably mechanical. I was like, man, is that
the one that does like the robot or something battle dance?

(12:45):
I got your robot right here? All right. It is
two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio
brought to you by Discover. Real credit card questions require
real people, someone who understand your issues and works to

(13:07):

two thousand's power Cleans four plates on each side. Why
are you putting this song on me? You're the one
who requested this. I didn't request this, Okay, Roberta did

(13:51):
I request this? Alright? I'm not Yeah, I'm not doing that. Listen.
I respect everybody in the job they do here. Uh,
it is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox
Sports Radio. I'm just saying I respect. I don't want
to tell Roberta, like, hey, play this, do that. That's
you know that, that's insulting. Doesn't find job, isn't At
point you've been like, he play put a little rock
for me, just whatever you want. I would never do that,

(14:14):
you know. I'm more that's not what I would do.
By the way, I lead to lap did post on
social media the the quote unquote burn that he suffered
that we've been talking about Um and Lee, what's the
Twitter handle they can get you on. Is it lead
lap forty eight or something like that, or what lead
to lap? Okay at lead to lap? So lead the
lap Twitter? I don't know, I don't know. I don't jesus.

(14:37):
Uh we well known, Lee, Um So it is uh
at lead to lap you can find it. Uh And
it's d E L A P P. Correct make sure
people can go see for themselves. Yeah, you guys are unbelievable. Um.
We are brought to you by the Dollar Shave Club.

(14:58):
But the Dollar Shave Club six Blade razor brings noticeably
smooth shaves with six stainless steel blades for swift hair
removal and a lubricating strip that keeps saying smooth. Dollar
Shave Club razors are sold at Dollar Shave Club dot
com or in stores. Coming up about twenty minutes from now,
we're gonna have another edition of the b Q News
to make sure you stick around for that. Also about

(15:19):
twenty minutes, Yeah, about twenty minutes from now. Also want
to give a shout out Central Oregon's new sports radio
station nine six nine The Ticket in Bend, Oregon. It
is the home of the Trail Blazers, the Seahawks and
Oregon State football and basketball. Uh, and I give some
some love to a Key Shipman, who is the president

(15:41):
of the station there. We appreciate it. Great to be
on with those guys. Uh, you know, as somebody who
fancies themselves on a lutla Oregon State football late at
night during the college football season. Uh, you know, big
big fans the yeah so yeah, yes, him and him
and Chad played on the same college team, correct NFL. Yeah,

(16:04):
that Central Oregon's news sports radio station, The Ticket. And
again Keith Shipman, the president. They're awesome to be on
with those guys. And speaking of the Seahawks, Um, apparently
DK Metcalf's name has come up. According to Jeremy Fowler
of ESPN, that's the name that keeps on being discussed
in in trade rumors. They've told him no, no, no,

(16:27):
we're not planning on trading him. But they also said
they weren't planning on trading Russell Wilson. Then he got Dell.
You've got Lamar Jackson openly campaigning for for DK Metcalf
on social media. I don't know if that's considered tampering,
but but here we go. Uh, the Seattle Seahawks maybe
parting ways with DK Metcalf, their stud receiver. So well,

(16:48):
here's the here's the conflict. So he was a second
round pick, wasn't the first round pick? You know, I
think when you saw him burst onto the scene, we're like,
oh man, he's amazing. Is this that you tend to
forget when you do what he did as a rookie
almost got a thousand yards, but a showcase that he
was one of the better wide receivers in that draft class.

(17:09):
The Seattle Seahawks internally had to been thinking, well, we're
gonna have to address this, maybe a little sooner than
we thought was giving him a contract extension. But let's
take a look at what happened in the market. DeAndre
Hopkins goes to the Arizona Cardinals and signs a contract
that pays him twenty seven point five million per year,
completely reset the wide receiver group. This offseason, Tyreek Kill

(17:32):
gets his contract that pays him thirty million average annual salary,
Davantay Adams twenty eight and a half million average annual salary.
So you know, basically since DK Metcalf got into the league,
if you look at what's happened to the wide receiver market.
There has been resets all over the place. And now
you find the Seattle Seahawks, a team that I think

(17:55):
we'd all agree as in rebuild mode. They moved on
from their last two pieces and Russo Wilson and Bobby Wagner,
who are a part of, you know, the super Bowl
winning team back to back seasons, going to a super Bowl,
and they now find themselves saying, maybe we just want
to accumulate draft capital, draft picks, build this thing back
up and and not necessarily pay out a bunch of cash,

(18:18):
especially to a player that we feel like it's good,
but not thirty million a year good. And and and look,
I'm not gonna debate the value of of DK Metcalf necessarily.
I don't think if you think about his impact versus
Tyree Hills or DeAndre Hopkins or Davante Adams, he's not

(18:39):
up to you know, up to that sort of that
that you know, that atmosphere as far as where those
guys are at that stratosphere. You know, he's a good
wide receiver and he and he's still developing. But one
of the things you see, and this is one of
the things I like to go look at with young
wide receivers, and especially guys like DK Metcalf, who was
kind of deemed to be like a one trick pony
in college. He was all the way on the outside

(19:00):
at all miss he was either running down the field
or you catch something quick and then get the ball
in his hands let him run. And I don't know
that what they've asked him to do in Seattle has
changed that much dramatically. When you actually go look at
his route charts, it's pretty much everything moving downfield, moving
vertically downfield. It's not a lot of routes where you're
gonna see him breaking down double moves um coming back

(19:23):
to the football often. You know they want to work
towards his strengths. And as much as you say, well, yeah,
it's because he's a big, fast, physical wide receiver, you
still would like to be able to see him do
a bunch of different things within his within your offense.
And the truth is is right now, he still can't.
You know, he hasn't become that type of wide receiver

(19:43):
yet where he's able to do a button run every
route in the route tree to the point where he
could be that number one wide receiver. Um, And that's
what we're talking about, is he's getting paid that number
one wide receiver. I don't know that these here there yet.
Seattle doesn't see him being there yet, and they don't
want to pay him what it costs to, you know,
pay a number one wide receiver. So I wouldn't be
shocked at all if they didn't find a way of

(20:05):
getting some value back for DK Metcalf as he enters
the last year of his rookie deal and will become
a free agent. Who that was a lot um man.
I'll say this, I think I think it will come
down to, is Drew Lock the guy? And if he's

(20:26):
not the guy, what is your plan for the following season,
if you're going to go through the final year of
his contract. I think it has everything to do with
who that quarterback will be. If if they still haven't
figured out who that person is, I don't I don't
see them taking venturing down that lane of paying paying

(20:49):
DK Metcalf one of those those tremendously large contracts. Now
the question becomes if if it doesn't work out where
they're not willing to pay him that amount of money. Now,
now the question becomes, well, what team is that's out there?
What team would would entertain paying that type of top

(21:10):
dollar for Dk Metcalf. Maybe this season plays a part,
and that maybe it doesn't play as large of a part.
I know, when referencing quarterbacks, it's generally who's next up
versus if they're willy really I guess, you know, deserving
of the contract. I almost would venture to say DK

(21:32):
Metcalf may not be as impactful as a as a
playmaker on the game as as you know Tarik or
or Davante, but he could be considered to be the
next guy up that that gets that big pay. Um
he is a name, Um he is a ticket seller. Um.

(21:52):
So I think that it for for what it's worth
for Seattle. I think it's gonna come down to who
is behind center, and that will dictate if they're going
to be willing to either try to build and try
to continue this rebuild by getting getting value from a
trade or or I mean, if he becomes a free agent,

(22:12):
are you moving on? And and so so I think
that that's more to me probably the bigger, bigger scenario
here who will be their quarterback? I wonder this if
if a team calls because Seattle can say, well, we
don't have any intentions on trading DK Metcalf. Okay, but
if a team calls with an offer, like what okay,

(22:33):
that's and that's the question is it is it a
too Uh? Does anybody you know throw out a first
round pick? If somebody, if somebody would have throw out
a first round pick for DK Metcalf, you do the deal,
Like if you're rebuilding, your rebuilding, but if you're just
go all the way through it rip the band aid
off at this point. And if you're Seattle and you
can recoup a first round pick for a guy you

(22:54):
took in the second round a couple of years ago,
why wouldn't you make the move. It just seems like
now is the time. If they're going to rebuild, now
is the time to actually I mean they've got picks.
I mean, if if you can get a first round
pick for DK Metcalf, why not. Why wouldn't Billy and
you can get DK Metcalf, why not do to do? Yeah?
I mean I just that that would be my My

(23:17):
question is what would it take to get Seattle to
to budge on this if they wanted to move Dk
metcalf And I just wonder if anybody would be willing
to give up a one form because he has been productive.
I mean, you know, he he has his his numbers
look good worth the one I would give up a one.
I think it depends on your salary cap situation, right,

(23:38):
because if you look at you know, for example, you
guys have used the Eagles. Um, I don't know off
the top of my head how much they are or
aren't over the cap, but um, I'd be willing just
to say this. You know, you're gonna have to at
a minimum, I think because you're trading form with you know,
and he's on the final year of his deal, you're

(23:59):
gonna the franchise tag him. And so yeah, you might
get him a little cheaper this year because he's on
that last year of his second round contract as a rookie.
But unless you can negotiate that long term extension, you're
really only leasing him for a couple of years before
he hits the free agent market if you're not willing
to pay him that big time contract. And so that
that's what makes it difficult, is you know, to see

(24:21):
the type of guy that you know you're if you're
the Eagles, because you do have three first round picks.
Are you saying, well, we view what he's done so
far as more significant than what any of these rookie
wide receivers we would draft be able to provide us
and we wouldn't have to worry about paying them for
at least another five technically, if we really want to

(24:43):
hold onto him under our under our control six seven years,
if you want to use franchise tags. So that's the
difference is I think just from a cap you know,
planning standpoint, you know, they've got to be a team
that's desperate to go try to win and win right
now and have the salary cap space to absorb either
that franchise tag not this year but next year if

(25:05):
he was gonna end up playing under it, you know,
or that huge contract that he's gonna be looking for.
That you to the VARs point if they view him as, hey,
he's the next man up, okay, but it's just it
might be hard to justify that. You know, as good
as he's been, he's you know again, I don't I
don't feel like he's gotten to the point where he
can fully be that number one wide receiver. They've always

(25:26):
been a Tyler Lockett DK Metcalf team. They've always been
a run first team for the most part. Um, you know,
that's really besides I think last year they're they're about
even in the league as far as their rankings rushing
and passing attempts. But for the most part, they've always
been a run first team. So it just, you know,
how does you know maybe he wants to get out
because he's like, man, I'm leaving some production on the shelf,

(25:50):
you know, playing in Seattle. Now we don't have Russ,
so it's gonna be even worse. But maybe there's an
element to where you're like a team saying, well, we
don't really know what he's fully capable of because you know,
he's only gone over a thousand yards once in his
first you know, a few seasons. He's been good, but
we don't know that he can be that true number
one wide receiver. The franchise tag for this year for

(26:10):
wide receivers is what eighteen four. That's only going to
go up next year, correct with all the the salaries
coming out, because it's still done. It's what the average
of the top five if you're under the exclusive franchise
tag is the average of the top five at the position.
God Man eighteen million dollars for for a wide receiver tag.
Good for him, Hey, if he can get it, it's
two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,

(26:32):
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas, knoxsal The here on FS
are coming up next to somebody on this show called
their shot. They said it. Uh, we refuted it. We disagreed,
but they must get the credit they deserve because they
called this weeks ago. We'll have that for you right
here on FS are for all the latest stelf from
around the world of sports. It's Eddie Garcia. It's not

(26:52):
about Lee burning his arm, is it? By the way,
what do you think cut or burn? I mean it's
awfully and hopefully thin burn. It looks it looks more
like a cut. I don't right, superficial will I'm just
hoping that's his arm. That's that was my I was
just you know, I'm just making sure hard. Yeah, it's

(27:14):
not just Why do you literally jerk the wheel into
a ditch every time? Why do you have to use
that terminology? Why why can't we just have a legitimate
sports talk radio that's rich coming from you. What come on,
I ask you the question here, I mean look, I

(27:35):
mean it's his arm. Jonas, Oh god man, just thank you,
thank you for being the adult. I try, I try.
Let's let's get you caught up on. Let's get you
caught up on some NBA action From Sunday. We had
the Mavericks beating the Bucks in Milwaukee one one twelve,
Luca Dodge fifteen assists for Dallas and the wind jan

(27:55):
and then the Coompo points ten boards in defeat for Milwaukee.
With the Sixers clinching a playoff spot. Joel and Beat
a monster game forty four point seventeen rebounds and a
one two one oh eight win over the Cavaliers thunder
surprise the Sons one seventeen ninety six. Phoenix still has
a league best sixty two and sixteen record, but they've
lost back to back games. After winning nine in a
row heat over the Raptors one fourteen to one on nine,

(28:16):
Miami at fifty one twenty eight has the top record
in the East. There two games up on Boston, Celtics
kept pace, cruising to a one forty four one oh
two win over the Wizards. Seven different players for Boston
scoring a double digits. Nicolea Yok thirty eight points eighteen
rebounds with the Nuggets, and a one one eight went
over the Lakers. That pushes l A to the brink
of elimination from the postseason. They've lost six in a row.

(28:37):
No Lebron James. Still in that game, Clippers beat the
Pelicans one one hundred. Clippers have clinched a spot in
the playing round with that victory. Now back to LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, and Jonas Knox in the Fox Sports Radio studios.
Thank you, Eddie, two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here Fox Sports Radio, we're gonna have the b Q
news for you, and about ten minutes from now on
FS are UM listen credit where credit is due, um.

(29:00):
One person on this show tried to tell everybody a
few weeks ago, Hey, I don't think the Lakers are
making the playoffs. Was like, listen, you know, yeah, this's
you know, like they've they've got, you know, a lot
of opportunity here, there's the playing tournament. They just have
to be, you know, one of the top ten teams,
and there's no way with Lebron James and you know,
Anthony Davis should come back before the postseason. There's no

(29:23):
way that this team is going to miss the postseason.
And yet here we are, the Lakers are now two
games out of the final playing spot in the Western Conference.
What an absolute armpit fart of a season for the
Los Angeles Lakers. I mean, LaVar credit work, credit is due.
You tried to warn everybody this team wasn't gonna make

(29:43):
the postseason, and you probably got a lot of heat
from the ball washers that make up local l A
radio and media. People listening right now on a M
five seventy the blowtorch AM five seventy l A Sports Um,
there's four games left there two hour. I don't know
what the odds are on them making the postseason, but
it does not look good considering they've got three road

(30:06):
games left in this dreadful year for the Lakers. They
just haven't trended up. That was why I was looking
at it, like, man, how many games are they, you know,
from not being in and then how many games are left?
Like it just didn't seem like it was a foregone
conclusion that they were going to get into the play
in playing round and and and it doesn't seem like

(30:29):
it's going to happen now. They just again, their trend
is in the wrong direction. Kiss of death. That's what
happened here, That's what it was. He gave him that
bad juju because they were they were like comfortably in
the playing game spot. They weren't like even biting really

(30:49):
for a playoff spot. It was like comfortably in the
playing spot like that. And they've literally fallen apart ever
since LaVar said that. Man, they haven't won Act to
back game since January seven. Okay, so let's just assume
that this trend continues and they don't make it. I mean,

(31:14):
I don't. I don't know that Lebron's in any territory
where people are going to hold it against him because
of how well he's playing individually. I just I do
wonder if he's gonna throw in the towel if we
see in the rest of the year. I don't think
he throws in the towel because he wants to play
with brawny and not that. I'm just I'm not saying, like,

(31:34):
the only reason, yeah, the only reason I would think
he would throw in the towel for this season is
to preserve himself for next season, where he'd hope to
then have a chance to be the all time scoring
leader because he can't catch it obviously this season. So
that would be the thought on it. But you could
also say, hey, he wants to play it out so
he gets closer so he doesn't have as much work
to do next season. I think a lot of people

(31:55):
will hold him accountable for this season, even though he's
played well. But there's the whole idea that he builds
the teams and and and listen, and he's there an idea.
Is that just factual? That's the fact that's factual. No,
that's factual. I was just trying to give him a
little you know, I was trying to give him a
little bit of space on it. But yes, I mean
it is factual. And and and then and then he

(32:18):
doubled down on on those moves and was like, keep
the same energy. You know. So there's a lot of
people that remember what he said. I mean, bull bull proclamations,
you know, bold planes. Did he say he would remember
all those people? Yeah, And I'm sure all those people
are going to remember him, you know, and and and

(32:39):
and all those people are going to have stories to
write or stories to tell or you know, different things
to publish. And I think that he's going to have
to deal with the brunt of this, this uh, the
lack of success this year, you know, you know, put
the pads pretty deep voice for Brooks kefka there. Um,

(33:02):
here's the So he was in Miami for four years,
correct that was the Big three last and four years
and went to the finals every year and won two titles.
And people look at that and go, well, they should
have done more even though they were in the finals
every year. And yeah, and that was that was the
big proclamation. Alright. So we're now so we're now in

(33:24):
the fourth year of his time in l A. And
he's going to have missed the playoffs twice with a
Bubble title and a first round exit last year in
the postseason. Has his has bubble Boy? Has Bubble Boy
delivered the goods since being here in l A? And

(33:45):
would you consider this a success if if what happened
in Miami was considered a disappointment? What the hell do
you call this? Missing the playoffs twice a Bubble Boy
championship year that we're talking about Lebron, I think I
think he's having a successful year, but he's still holding
people's attention. You know, it's still a story. It's still

(34:06):
trying to wonder what Lebron can do, what's next. See,
I think Laker fans have turned on him, You think
I do. I think I think they're I don't know
that they ever embraced them in the first place. Well,
he was never gonna be Kobe. That was never gonna happen.
But but I mean, this has been this has been
a failure. I mean, just call what it. It's been
a failure. Like you can't look at what He didn't

(34:28):
go to college, and so he's got that like that
four year itch where he gets to the end of
the four year run he's like, I need to get
out of here. I need to transfer, I need to
go somewhere else. You know, it's almost like if he
missed out on that experience and now he he hangs
around for about four years, he's like, all right, I'm
done with this. Is that the Jim Harbaugh what Harba
was doing. He seemed like he lasted about four years
everywhere he went except from Michigan. Now, but yeah, it

(34:50):
is um you know, I I don't know, man, I
I look at this and I go, it's been a failure.
I don't know how anybody can consider this a success.
And you can go, well, they won that championship. Let
me come on, man, like that was next to the teacups, Like,
what are we talking about? To the record? Well, I
mean yeah, if you want to claim Minneapolis championships, there

(35:11):
one away from the record. Well, hey, I guess, I
guess we're counting those. I guess. All right, it is

I want to let you know before we get to
the b Q news were brought to you by Dollar
Shave Club. The Dollar Shave Club six blade razor brings
noticeably smooth shaves with six stainless steel blades for swift
hair removal and a lubricating strip that keeps saying smooth.
Dollar Shave Club razors are sold at dollar shave dot
com or in stars. Let's go to the news desk.

(37:06):
What here's Brady quinn. Yea, let's go. If you guys
were ever worried about those, you know, smelly cows when
you're driving on the countryside right now, well, guess what.
Some British genetics firm has come up with a way
of breeding less gassy cows. Man, we could probably use

(37:27):
that in our Fox Sports Radish. Yeah. So, the dairy
industry accounts for about three percent of the UK's greenhouse gas.
Imagine methane, which is the odor that is admitted from
that sound we just heard. It's actually twenty five times
more harmful to the environment the carbon dioxide. So they've

(37:48):
they've created a breeding program where they're calling these cows
in viral cows because they're less gaseous. Hey, Jonas and LaVar,
who in your life do you wish less gashes? I'm
not going to say. I mean, it's got to be
the browns that could be incriminating. Listen, it's double barrel
action at times. With the Roberto and Lee in the studio,

(38:08):
it's I mean, the door has been opened the entire show,
which leads me to believe somebody was concerned that that
things are starting to leak. It definitely could be Berto
and Lee. God, by the way, so so a cow's
gas is so bad that it's like harmful for the environment. Correct,

(38:32):
methane tends to be again times. You know what's crazy.
I was watching bull riding yesterday and I never noticed
that the bulls be having all kinds of fecal matter
on their on their hind sides when they come out
of the the gate. Well, I mean they can't. They

(38:56):
can't reach back and wipe. So they must obviously either
be so pumped up or nervous or something that it
just all that just happens. I mean, it is the
most odd thing I think I've heard you say it
a while. I was all right, let's let's go to

(39:22):
one more story now. I did send this story to
you guys in the text chain because it's a clip
that's gone viral. Um. It was a six race and
kissing Me Florida, and you see one of the one
of the the athletes six absolutely cold clocks the guy
in front of him. I don't know the story behind it,

(39:44):
but uh, the odd thing is is like the the
guy who ran up behind him was obviously fast up
to catch up. But the reality is the guy got
knocked out. The guy who hit him obviously was disqualified.
It was creating quite the stir. He wasn't in the rays.
It came out later he wasn't even in the race. Really, yeah,
the guy that clocked and wasn't in the race, Are

(40:05):
you sure? Yes? So did further investigative work on that.
It was reported the kid wasn't even in the race.
I mean, between that and bull riding, this is Fox
Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation.
