Speaker 2 (00:27):
Let's give this.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
LeVar Arrington, good call, bam, thank you. You're probably the
one who capped Milli Vanilli too.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
I did I knew something?
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Hell tell? How could you tell they weren't singing.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
By the way they were. They did so much running
in place and swinging their hair. I just thought to myself,
there's no way they could be for one singing the
song without losing their breath a little bit. And then
on top of that, why did both of them sound
exactly the same. You never thought about that. You never
(01:09):
thought about it.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I actually didn't listen to them enough to think about anything.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Oh, they're so good, So I like the songs. They're great.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
I like the songs Blaming on the Ring, Girl, you
know it's true, or blaming on the Ring Girl. You
know it's true too.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
Girl, you know it's true. Is a banger and a half.
I don't care who wrote it.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's crazy, it was it's the same dude.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
What's the same dude singing?
Speaker 2 (01:39):
What the hell you mean? How did you figure it out?
How they look? They look different in physical features and books. However,
they were dressed the same and had long hair. But
it was the same voice.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Oh man, Oh.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
It's such a corny sounding songs. The dude's name was
John Davis. He was the voice of Millie Vanilli.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Yeah, maybe it is bad.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
I'll like you know that there's some drug addict who's
working out right now and he's listening to this song
and nobody.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Knows it because he's got his earbuds in.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
This is This is a this is a drug addict song,
one hundred percent you how many people probably add like
a rolled up five dollars bill and a bunch of
the snotsand on a coffee table listening to this song
before they went out for the night.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
This is such a vibe.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
I love you, man.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
They're gonna play this at the hotel tonight, Lorena.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Oh yeah, they will. What hotel is that, Jonas?
Speaker 4 (03:20):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe Here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you here, so we are. We did open up
the show talking about the NBA Playoffs last night. Congratulations
of the Denver Nuggets. They are on their way to
a Game seven against the Oklahoma City Thunder coming up
on Sunday, and it does present the possibility that, you know,
(03:43):
most people feel like Shay Gilgess Alexander is going to
win the MVP seems pretty obvious at this point, and
so there was some speculation as to whin he's going
to be presented the award. He's not been presented the
award yet. You'd assume they didn't want to take an
each chances and they'd probably want to present the award
to him coming up on Sunday before Game seven. But
(04:06):
the problem is is that, you know, maybe that might
be moments before they get eliminated from the playoffs and
you've got Joe gets there, who everyone I think looks
at and goes, well, that's the best player in the league.
As James Harden laid out and you can make the
argument he should be the MVP every year. So it
does create an interesting dynamic of the celebration, the pomp
and circumstance, all of that stuff for SGA before the game,
(04:30):
only to have the Joker go out and rip his
heart out on the road there in Oklahoma City and potentially.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Show everybody who the real best player in the league is.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
So if Joker cares about this stuff, and he's got
a little bit of a red ash, remember there was
that false report that his MVP trophy he let his
horses play with back in his hometown. So I don't
know how much he cares about this stuff, but if
he did, you know, take offense to the fact that
he's not going to win.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
MVP, we could get a piss.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Does let his horses play with it? I don't know
what we're they're gonna do with the MVP trophy.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
I don't know, just batting around, I guess, you know,
like taking the nose and like knocking it around on
the ground. I don't know is what the report was, Lee,
Can you look that up find out if that was
a fake report.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Or I'm not denying whether the report is true or false.
I'm just saying, like, what would a horse do with
an award?
Speaker 2 (05:19):
I don't know, you play fetch?
Speaker 3 (05:22):
You know, we talked about this. Horses are idiots.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
No, they're not. They're very intelligent animals. Bro, They're not
idiots at all.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
All right, Okay, first that comes up that he did
not let his horses play with his MVP award.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
That was probably after there was a little bit of outrage.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
This sounds like Jonas Saturday material right now. That's what
it sounds.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
First of all. First of all, it's way beneath.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
It may be raining on him on Saturday too, Q
raining on him.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
That's tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
You guys are ready for Saturday material right now. We
gotta let that one simmer a little bit. But I'm
just saying there was there was a report that he
let his horses play with the trophy. There are reports, yeah,
and so.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
He was probably playing fetch a horse will fetch, they
will they will go get it?
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Really yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Okay, yeah, man, it just depends, you know, it just
depends on which one you were working with and what
you're playing was because some of them really like trying
to find the cracks and the crevices of things that
you give to it, you know what I mean. So
you know he might have been maybe inspiring his horses
(06:38):
to you know, you know, Lee play with the play
with the.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Okay, So Lee found an AI generated video of Joker
saying his horses played with this trophy.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Let's Lee, let's hear this. Please you.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
I'm grateful to get another.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
M v P.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
But for me, it's uh just basketball. I don't know
why other players cry when they get this trophy. What
I do is I end up giving it to my
horses to play with. That brings joy in my heart.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I wish it was. If that's not true, I wish
it was real too. I wish it was real. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
I feel like AI's advanced in the in the past
two years since since that came out significantly that it's
not great.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
I wish that was true, though. Why would you cry
over win an m v P. You know one thing
that we should and if your horses want to play
with it, why not let your horses play with the trophy.
I mean, that's what brings you joy. It ain't a lie,
You ain't saying nothing wrong. Well, we gonna have people
(07:58):
outrage oh, don't ever get joker, don't ever give him
the MVP award ever. Again, it's only a good for
its horses. Like, come on, man, at.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Least they get an award.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Those those dummies that run around in circles at Churchill
Downs get at some roses wrapped around their neck.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yeah, but they get a whole lot of attention to bro,
you better go watch that that show on on Netflix.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
I mean, listen, if you have a few bucks, and
I'm sure they do, they could get a hooker like.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
They don't need to be celebrated like that.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Hey, bruh, I realized why why the successful horses be
winning so loud in the in the stock?
Speaker 3 (08:34):
They should be exhausted. Are you run so fast? Should
be tired?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Why is that horse willing to run to death? Well,
check out what happens when they win.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
So the other the other story this weekend that we've
got to we've got to address is we decided to
draw names out of the hat for the PGA Championship yesterday.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
And uh, Brady, you're the golf honk on this show.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
I didn't I didn't happen to see like many of
the names that we picked out of the half near
near at the top of the leader board for some reason,
they're at Quaile Hollow.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah, I was. I was hyping up Rory McElroy didn't
work out too well. He's I think it was like
two over. Yeah, it's so far the headlining guys haven't
really been showing up like they should be. So I think,
what is Johnny Vegas is leading after the first round. Yeah,
so he's he's up there in minus seven.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
And then look there's some other like more well known names,
but uh, yeah, we have not seen the bigger name
guys really show out yet. A lot of golf left
to be played, though, a lot of golf left to
be played.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Your guy, Scottie Scheffler, who was last scene getting arrested
because he can't follow directions, don't nobody's last.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Scene getting arrested, but yeah, he was got arrested. Last
year he.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Had a red ass. So last PGA Championship he got arrested.
Jeff Darling me, what that looks like?
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Exactly?
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Jeff Darlington, Uh, you.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Know, turned them inaccurate one.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Turned into you know, a crime reporter there breaking all
that down. And then this year he was happy unhappy
about the rules, I guess and play there at Quayle
Hollow and had this to say.
Speaker 6 (10:17):
It's frustrating to hit the ball in the middle of
the fairway and get mud on it and just have
no idea where it's going to go. I understand it's
part of the game, but there's nothing more frustrating for
a player.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
I mean, you spend your whole life.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
Trying to learn how to control a golf ball, and
due to a rules decision, all of a sudden, you
now have absolutely no control over where that golf ball goes.
But you know, I don't make the rules. I just
got to deal with the consequences of those rules. And
you know, I did a good job of battling back
today and not letting a bad break like that which
cost me a couple of shots kind of get to me.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
So what's the issue? Like the ball's muddy and he
could and he couldn't hit it.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
What's yeah? No, I mean, I mean, this is not
this is not a great sports talk radio mania.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
I'm just I'm wondering, why is he pissed?
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Okay, here's what happens when you get a ton of
ran on a course. It's obviously as anyone who knew,
anyone who has a young knows, if you get a
ton of rain, you're not gonna be able to milliar lawn.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Right.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
It's kind of like that with like a fairway. So
even in like a very nice, pristine cut course like that,
you get a ton of rain, it's super soft. If
you hit a ball and it ends up hitting on
the fairway, there's spots where it's gonna be super soft,
it's gonna be a mud ball, and you can't lift,
clean and replace the ball.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
So typically, like if you're playing a match with just us,
you know, three we're going out playing golf. Your ball's
in the fairways, in the fairway, no one really cares.
If it's a muddy ball, you can pick it up,
clean it off, because when you go to hit that ball,
it's going to change the spin. It's gonna change that
the distance. There's just a lot of issues from it.
And sometimes even balls will like woolen bed in the ground,
which I believe they get relieved from. But that's why
(11:44):
those guys get so upset about it, because, believe it
or not, even the smallest little markings on a ball
will change the spin. It will change or see into
the distance of the ball, and those guys are out
there and playing in different conditions, and they'd like it
to be as consistent as post possible, at least as
far as the ball they're hitting. So that's the gripe,
but it's not again, it's golf. Like, no one wants
(12:06):
to hear golfers complaints, okay, trust me, Like that's the
one group of professional athletes if you want to call
golfers athletes, which I do, I don't think you guys do.
But no one wants to hear those guys complain because
it feels like it's already kind of like a foofy sport,
so you can't really complain about the rest of it.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
I mean, especially a guy who should be behind bars,
like Scottie Scheffer, like he's lucky to be a free
man able to walk out and be able to play golf,
Like he should stop, you know, being so ungreat.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
I've noticed about Jonas is Jonas has these takes and
their takes that can only exist in this world because
he never has to encounter these people face to face.
What do you mean that it changes everything completely? And
anyone who says otherwise that's listening right now, you're lying.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
All right, Hold on you.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Everyone knows if you have to talk to someone face
to face, you're gonna temper what you're going to say.
You're gonna change how you say it. Uh, with a
handful of exceptions of people out there. So you don't
live in a hole, I don't, and you never come
out of me in trouble.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
All right.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
So because I've never been arrested, like I should be
judged for not having to state, Okay, sorry that I've
never been arrested.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Okay, I played, but I.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Don't think that's what this is about.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
I'm not a reckless if you're to society would.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Never go well if you actually had to see someone
in person, talked on face to face.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
I mean, people could come see me anytime they want. No,
they can't, like they.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Can people try. Brandon Merriweather wanted to fight me over me.
Just always keeping it real, why that's all? Hey man,
I'll be a huckleberry if you if you really want.
I mean, you're talking bad to me with security and
and and uh satelline uh attendance in between us. I
don't I don't you know, I didn't know that being
(13:55):
a tough guy. Was talking with security and you on
the field and you know, too far away for us
to really have an exchange, you know what I mean.
But I have shot from the hip and people did
not like it when when they saw me in person.
So that was one more in particular because I thought
we was cool. Like I thought I was. I was
(14:16):
sending out love like, hey man, stop suspending the dude,
stop stop finding him. But he does need to learn
how to hit in today's NFL. He didn't like what
I had to say. Damn I seen him. I'm like, hey,
we on some you know, formerly known as Redskins love
Like I'm on the sideline on some alumni type stuff.
Dude talking about keep my name out your mother after mouth.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
When did this happen?
Speaker 2 (14:39):
I'm saying to me, come come, come to me closer,
say it to me closer, My.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Gee, when did this happen?
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Hey, hey man, don't don't don't let my smile fool you. Bro,
I'm still a tooth chipper out here now. I don't.
I don't play them type games. Get held up right
in front of the world too. By the way, I
don't know. It's been a while when did he play?
I mean I was still doing radio and in d C,
so I was doing I mean, I had a lot
of things to say about the team because we weren't
(15:07):
very good. So but it was you know, that was
the year. That was the years probably the same season
that you remember the tight end who is the tight end?
Bennett I believe his name was, came out and.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Was talking trashnet.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah, he said something about which is another situation. They said.
He said something about, uh maybe r G three. And
I said, well, talk talk, talk that trash to somebody
who will will call you out on it. I'll punch
you right in your mouth if I see you on site.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
So I ain't never had no problem with no spoke,
but I'm getting older now, so I don't. I don't really,
I don't do it like that anymore. But I still
got it in me though I ain't a killer, But
don't push me, you know, I'm.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Saying, looking at the present odds, Looking at the present
odds here, the good news is Scotty Scheffler is still
the favorite to win the tournament uh, followed by Tyrrell
Hatton and Bryson de Shambo.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Sitting at fourteen to one. So I believe who had
Scheffler was? Did LeVar pick Scotty Scheffler?
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Lee?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I think I think he did.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
No, I think he did.
Speaker 7 (16:20):
Yeah, yeah, LaVar, I think you guys maybe I took
that segment off. I don't know you took Scotty Scheffler. Yeah,
Rory okay, yeah, I had Rory McElroy.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Somebody else did, like Lorena maybe or something.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Oh yeah, Lee thinks it was him.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
That's about rightful.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Well, yes, Scott, all right, okay, remember the track of.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
It, Brady, you had Xander?
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Just tell us all right, Roy McElroy, Lorena sticks picks?
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Yeah, John ram right, that's right.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
John knocks locks.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
I love those buttons.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
You know what that sounds like? You remember that wrestling?
I don't know. That's too young, y'all. Too young. There
was a wrestling There was a wrestling game on Saga Genesis,
and it made that last part. It sounded like introducing
one of the the wrestlers. I don't remember the name.
I'm really not sure Genesis.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
I'm really not sure that that's a door locking. It
does sound like a gun clicking knocks.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Locks, Yeah, like a hard lock on a door knocks locks.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Yeah whatever, I can't really make it out. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Well, listen, I do know this that it is time
to hand down a little bit of an award here
on this show. It time to hand out our Express
Pros Pro.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Of the week. And the Pro of the Week goes too.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Here's a three to one pitch and Otani just hammers
won to center.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Failed it is back, it is gone, his.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Second home run of the night. Show, Hey Otani getting
it done.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
That call courtesy of the blowtorch Am five to seventy
LA Sports show. Hey Tani, two home runs last night
and the Dodger wipeout of I almost called him the
Oakland A's whatever that team is that plays in Sacramento,
was down here getting bludgeoned for three games. But that
is your Express Employment Pro of the Week. Ready for
a new job? Let Express Employment professionals help. While Express
(18:40):

is logistic roles and Express never charges job seekers a fee,
So go to Expresspros dot com. So coming up next here,
somebody really wanted something in the NFL and they got
their wish.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
We'll explain why right here on FSR.
Speaker 8 (19:00):
Sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and Jonas
Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you. By the way, we are going to have
another edition of Lee's Leftovers coming up a little over
fifteen minutes from now. I've been told that it's a
special edition from Lee, like he has told me that
there's something special in store, a courtesy of a listener
(19:37):
of Fox Sports Radio. So yeah, I've been told on
good authority that we've got some of the specials. We
will have that for you again coming up here a
little over fifteen minutes from now. Obviously, the NFL schedule
release came out. We were big fans on this show
of the leaks that were coming out daily, all these
random matchups and big matchups, but the full schedule came out.
The culture pissing off, you know, a Paul pologizing when
(20:00):
they shouldn't have apologized for Tyreek Hill being depicted as
a dolphin getting arrested, et cetera, et cetera. But then
you look at some of the matchups and this according
to Richard Ditsch of The Athletic, who spoke with Fox
exec Mike mulihill and talking about the Fox AFC games
(20:20):
that they were hoping to get. So they had been
unhappy with the sharing of cross network conference games in
years past because for the longest time, it was Fox
got the NFC games, CBS got the AFC games, and
there wasn't really a lot of the cross you know,
sharing and all that throughout the course of the previous years.
But lately they've been trying to do more of that,
and mobi Hill told Richard Ditch that the other outlets
(20:44):
were getting better NFC games and we were getting back
from the AFC side, So it just became a little
bit more imbalanced. And so this year Fox is getting
one week fourteen. They're getting Bengals bills, which you would
have never seen again years ago. But it did get
me to think about this. If it's a quarterback league
(21:05):
and the quarterbacks are the stars of the NFL, how
many teams do you have to go down in the
AFC before you get the next biggest star at the
position in the NFC, Like, it does feel like the
real star power at that position is in the AFC.
So the fact that they're able to get some of
that and they're able to get a Joe Burrow or
(21:26):
a Patrick Mahomes or they're able to get a Josh Allen,
which are the best players in the league, it does
feel like now we're going to get to see on
both networks a little bit more of a fair and
balance representation of the stars on that side of the
on that side of the NFL.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Yeh see.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
I think Fox has had the rights to the NFC
games since nineteen ninety four. Is that sound about right?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:47):
And if you really think about that, like going through
that heyday of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco
forty nine Ers in particular, like those are the two
teams that I kind of think about there through the
early nineties and then and through the nineties, I'm sure
everything was great. I mean, that's really where the brand
started to build for the Dallas Cowboys. But as we've
gotten into the start of the New millennium, you know,
(22:11):
you get Tom Brady, New England Patriots, AFC, you get
paid Manning in Theapolis Colts AFC, you start looking at
some of the quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger right, for a period
of time, I think it was basically Tom Brady, Payton,
Manning or Ben Roethlisberger that represented the AFC in the
Super Bowl. Is that somewhat somewhere in the ballpark of that,
(22:31):
and so you started to get some of more of
those Hall of Fame quarterbacks as we've looked over the
past twenty some years on that side of it. And
I really think the whether it's it's just kind of
worked out this way in particular for CBS, the quarterback
play in particular, it's kind of worked out better that way,
you know, for guys like Patrick Mahomes obviously, and then
you look at how the league's loaded up now with
(22:53):
Josh Allen the MVP, Lamar Jackson obviously has won multiple MVPs,
Joe Burrow, who's in that conversation. You kind of look
around the landscape and just go, yeah, well, if that's
what this league is all about, if it's driven by
the quarterbacks, if it's driven by the teams that have success, Yes,
Philly won this past year, but before that it was
Chiefs Kingdom, you know, for two years in a row,
and it's been large to the Chiefs in recent history.
(23:14):
So the AFC has had their run between the Patriots
now in the Kansas City, and maybe Philly would be
that team to kind of take over and maybe they
can win back to back. But by and large, the
leagues driven by quarterbacks, the better quarterbacks playing in the AFC,
and that's largely been the CBS package up until like
really the last few years. I think they've started to
(23:35):
kind of swap a little bit more of what they've
given up. But to that point, I mean, you know
you're getting if you're getting some of the like the
Jacksonville Jaguars versus the Colts, you know, it's it's not
really feeling quite the same.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
What's supposed to mean, you know.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
I mean, look, I'll be the first thing I was,
you know, called that game last year. I'm pretty sure
so end of the season. So I'm just i don't
know how like wild they are by some of that time.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
You know, I'm going to push back on you guys
outside of the top going. I'm going to you know,
I mean, you got jackson you got Allen and you
got Burrow, and then you have Mahomes, which debatably last year,
even though even though we know Patrick Mahomes is Patrick
Mahomes in terms of seeing guys get out there and
(24:26):
do some extraordinary things, I would say, by all means
all stretches of the imagination Patrick's Patrick Mahomes was kind
of pedestrian last year. And and listen, I look at
what Jared Goff brought to the table n FC guy
like that. That was a team that was surging during
(24:47):
the regular season. And we've looked at a Detroit Lions
team has played at a high level.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
We're not talking about performance like I'm not trying to
look at the star star power. Yeah, I'm saying like
there's a reason. There's a reason, like if you're gonna
put on okay, if all things are regal, Jared Goff
is playing one o'clock and Patrick Mahomes playing one o'clock,
who are you gonna watch?
Speaker 2 (25:08):
You're going You're probably going to watch. It's debatable in
the sense that it's not it's not debatable. You're good
power with Jared Goff, it's just not He's not pushed
the way that that Patrick Mahomes is. I won't debate that.
I'm with you there, he is.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
He doesn't matter. They're not in the same category. It's
Patrick Mahomes and everyone else there there.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
I agree with that, but that doesn't necessarily mean to
a certain demographic of fans and fan based supporters, Detroit
is a great market that loves their quarterback.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
I'm not saying they're not. I'm just saying.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
Purpose you could argue that, you could argue that, you
could argue the biggest star at the position in the
NFC you could argue is Jaden Daniels.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
You could argue about them. I mean that star power,
it's young star power, and it's not in the Again,
it's not in the same None of these guys, outside
of Lamar Jackson and maybe even Joe Burrow possibly Josh Allen,
are in the same category or stratosphere as Patrick Mahomes.
(26:16):
I mean possibly, I mean, I don't know if if
you had to choose between Josh Allen Pat Mahomes, I
think it's the same result as Jared Goff. I'm going
watch Patrick Mahomes play, not Josh Josh Allen. I'm not
I'm probably want to see what.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Patrick I think most people would pick Josh Allen over
Jared Goff if they got the pick.
Speaker 9 (26:34):
I think it's that's safe to say. Lamar Jackson over
Jared Goff, I think that's safe to say. But again,
over Jared Goff, I think that's safe to say.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
But I would certainly say that if I'm looking at
Star Power and wanting to watch and see what they're
going to do. I think Jared Goff is a name
that you throw in there. I think you throw Matthew
Stafford in there. I think you throw Jay Hurts his
name in there. I don't think that the NFC. And
and for what is worth, I throw Dak Prescott in there.
(27:08):
I really do.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
He's must see TV, he really is.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Why is that here? We go like the way played
it up, like.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Why is he must see LaVar? Yeah, because what's gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Because he's a star.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
What's gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Well, every star isn't going to stay where it's at.
Some stars are shooting stars. I'm just saying, you see
them and then you don't know. Nonetheless, and Jalen Hurts
one won the Super Bowl last year, as y'all mentioned,
So I mean I don't. I don't think that the NFC.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
I think I think you could.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
They're very attractive.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
I think you could put like you could put.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
They're attractive to watch, not like they're not attractive to watch.
They are.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
I'll give you like three quarterbacks and it hurts Jayden Daniels.
You might say Stafford, but Stafford is probably what done
in a year tales.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
About say up top it was close.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
I mean, I think I didn't even mention Justin Herbert.
I didn't mention C. J. Stroud like Jordan Love that
you get thrown in that conversation. I don't know if
he's taking the next step, but I mean you've you've
got a number of quarterbacks that I think are entertaining
as hell to watch on the AFC. Sorry, Rogers is
here on a ross right now. If he comes back,
he's playing for Pittsburgh. You're gonna watch that too.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
So they've really got like at least seven or the
top seven or eight stars at the position in the league.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
I mean, g no. Smith went over to the a
f C too. Now he's back in the a f C.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Yeah, that's one of those fair unfair trades I think there.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
I mean by the way bo Nicks didn't get enough
credit for the rookie season he had Drake may These
are all a FC quarterbacks AFC, Trevor Lawrence, AFC. Hey
justin now, if you want to throw him in the conversation, okay,
who would you say?
Speaker 2 (29:01):
He's got Kyler Murray? All right, come on now, Calamari.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Can I tell you something?
Speaker 4 (29:05):
You know who might be third behind Jalen Hurts and
Jayden and Anders in the NFC? Baker Mayfield, I mean
Baker Mayfield. And you know what I got off top Brady?
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Yeah, hell yeah, But I don't even think it's debating.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
You got Russell Wilson in New York. Now, come on, man,
that's must watch televisions. What if you're telling me if
he brings hers and it's starting week one, if he
brings her, you're stupid saying, man, he brings her. You
(29:43):
got Kirk Cousins in the NFC. All right, now that's
just I'm just that's captain re cap right now, God
go ahead, man to show.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
You gotta Caleb Williams of the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
I mean the bear. What you know? What's a tabit? Though?
In this conversation like being honest, like, on a serious note,
where would you mention Trevor Lawrence in star power on
the AFC side, He'd still be down there.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
I mean, you know, but again.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
It's kind of not there. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
The general point is that if the league is built
on star power and that position, particular as the quarterback,
the AFC has it, the CBS has had it, and
what they've been getting back in return has probably not
been quite what they're what Fox has been giving up.
So I think it's fair to say that.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yeah, yeah, it is. You know. I would say the
biggest storyline quarterbacks this year coming into it will be
Jaydon Daniels and Kayla Williams. I really do. I think
they will be the most talked about quarterbacks coming into
this season because we know what we're getting from Patrick Mahomes.
But I mean talk about driving driving viewership. People are
(31:01):
going to watch Jaydon Daniels, and people are going to
damn sure watch Caleb Williams to see what they do.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
And you're gonna have every shock to watch Jane Daniels
because he's gonna be playing primetime what six times?
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Yeah times?
Speaker 4 (31:14):
By the way, that was that was one of the
interesting things that was discussed about the schedule release is
that they kind of veered away from the Cowboys so
much and they wanted more Washington, more Philly, like, they
wanted more of that to be to be shown because
they realize what they've gotten Jayden and Daniels.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
So I thought Dallas still has a ton of primetime
games they do for standalone games, you can't.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
I mean they do.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
I think they got six six primetime games.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
They got the holiday season. Yeah, yeah, they're covering the
trip to fan You're gonna get your cowboys fixed. Keep
fall asleep though. They're gonna help that Turkey.
Speaker 4 (31:50):

Speaker 2 (34:55):
You know what I mean, like like you could go
from there or you like your snipp two different extremes
but in the same place, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
Now, how was this done though, because that's like those
are very very different. Obviously this had to have been
AI generated. Maybe, as Brady pointed out, it doesn't like
not necessarily.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
I mean a lot of people know how to do music.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Man, that sounds like that, but there's also a lot
of AI generation. Lee, do you have any details as
to how this was produced?
Speaker 2 (35:28):
It just says music producer Lee.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Lee from corvallis, Oh, very cool.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Thank you, Lee from corvallis very very well done. You're
super talented. Yeah, thank you.
