Broy in Phoenix. Yes, Scottsdale's getting loose.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
I've never done any booger sugar, but I can't even
imagine what you feel like if you were a booger sugar.
Speaker 7 (01:31):
By the way, if you're Michael Irvin, if you're Michael Irvan,
stay off social media. There's a lot of assumption being
made about Oh yeah, it is about what kind of
flowers he likes to smell, so.
Speaker 8 (01:48):
Well, you might smell it.
Speaker 7 (01:51):
I know that, but we do know this, that this
is the moment of truth, all right, So everybody listen up,
because here on two pros and a cup of Joe,
here's a game day tip. Order Pizza Hut before the
QB shouts the first Hut and if you're hungry, the
big New Yorkers got those giant foldable slices and right

Sports Radio dot com to answer how many huts you
hear us say and play in this segment from this
(03:15):
point forward beginning now hut.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Wait wait, hold on, it wasn't all the huts you
just said.
Speaker 8 (03:25):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, just the hut.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Yeah, so it just started a moment Ago said.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Hut, like like, so that was the start right there?
Or was Lorraino the first one?
Speaker 7 (03:39):
I just want to make sure she said hut. I
said hut. I think somebody else.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yet, And then Q said hut. But there's a whole
bunch of huts coming out with you saying he's huts
and these are all huts.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
I hope we have someone counting the huts. Yeah, it's
some people's cute.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, we got to be able to tell him how
many huts have.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
That's part of the deal here, John's we all have
to know.
Speaker 9 (04:03):
I'm counting right now.
Speaker 8 (04:06):
But it's a can't so I can't just yell hut
with that now when.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
You say hut hut, isn't that two times times? See
there you go.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
I didn't do like that's that'd be three?
Speaker 3 (04:20):
That was like three? Yeah, that was three huts. What
if you quadrupled it?
Speaker 5 (04:27):
I've never heard of a quad with the double cadence.
You know, you get up there like Blue Lady, and
you're really not trying to get like them to jump
off side. You're trying to get the defense to show
what they're doing. And then you go in your next
cadence if if you don't want a board check or whatever.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
I sure did hate a heard count. Boy, I tell
you a heart count was horrible.
Speaker 8 (04:53):
Can I see if I can get you to jump
on my hard count?
Speaker 3 (04:56):
LeVar whoa no, no, yell.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Super pause, bro, go jump on his hard count.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Right, that's like one of the biggest pauses I've ever
heard of this actually didn't mean it like that, but
I mean, where is your mind at my god.
Speaker 9 (05:14):
I'm gonna take my hut elsewhere.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (05:18):
I'm with you, Patty?
Speaker 8 (05:21):
Are you ready? Jonas?
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Doing? Yeah? Go ahead, go it?
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Red ninety red ninety hot hot.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Hot.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
What does that sound like? It's a quarterback would just kidding.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
I would call time out. I would call time out
because I mean, somebody co get this guy.
Speaker 7 (05:45):
Man?
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Why does that sound.
Speaker 9 (05:47):
Kind of like Tom Brady kind of would say that.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
No, no, that sounds nothing like Tom.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
Brady watching me, watching the old watching the old NFL films.
Growing up, it was always the Joe Montana black fifty
nine razor.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
What you're trying to say? Why you always got to
go there? Jonas?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
I didn't realize you were just bad, bro? What are
you talking about? Your bad manors can't be Oh come
on man.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Well I got to be a black razor.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
All right?
Speaker 7 (06:14):
Listen, you know what you know what word? What is
non racial at all? What hut.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Racist?
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Your TP or your hut?
Speaker 8 (06:29):
All right, so keep listening.
Speaker 7 (06:33):
You got the rest of this segment to keep counting,
all right, everybody, you uh, everybody makes sure.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
There's three thousand dollars in an upgrade for your fan
cave man a bad and pizza for a year once
a week. That I wish I qualified, honestly, and I
really would be keep keeping count.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
You can eat.
Speaker 7 (06:54):
By the way, I think the Reverend is shouted, hut,
what do you say we order a pizza?
Speaker 4 (06:59):
All right?
Speaker 10 (06:59):
They're about to call me PIZZERRONI on this right now,
Pizzona cowboy.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
All right, So without the pizzny cowboy all right.
Speaker 7 (07:06):
So without further ado, who's ready for an update on
a wild story in the world of college football. By
the way, congratulations to the Miami Hurricanes. They are on
their way to the national championship.
Speaker 8 (07:15):
At home.
Speaker 7 (07:17):
They'll be at They'll be at hard Rock, ready to
take on the winner of Indiana and Indiana and Oregon.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Why did I say Stay of Christ was usually there.
Speaker 7 (07:28):
But if anybody's wondering, what's the latest on Demon Williams
and Washington, No, he's going back.
Speaker 8 (07:38):
He's a little little change of heart.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
He took to social media and just said, after thoughtful
reflection with my family, I'm excited to announce that I
will continue my football journey at the University of Washington.
I'm deeply grateful to my coaches, teammates and everyone in
the program. Jedfish also co signed on this.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
And what position quarterback? Oh yeah, so you're saying that
he was supposed to be saying hut in Louisiana but
is deciding to say hut and Washington.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Yeah, well, he also was potentially looking at saying hut
in Oregon. Oregon was the other team potentially in the
mix for his services. But it would be hard because
you know, you don't know if Dante Moore is gonna
leave or come back. By the way, this whole mess
that's been created is a byproduct of the environment where
(08:38):
you know, if a player wants to do something like this,
there's no consequences, so like why.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Not test that out?
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Drive the pot up?
Speaker 5 (08:45):
Sure, and and he's and he's being lured by none
other than Lane Kiffin, who's done whatever he's wanted, you know,
like he's.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
Doing the same thing.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
So it's not surprising that this somehow would be attached
to Lane Kiffin and the manner in which he's inducted
himself and then maybe even enticing a player to say, yeah,
you signed that. Okay, it doesn't matter. You could probably
even have a legal case against it. And the tough
part for Demon Williams and his family. And I've met
the young man. He's a He's a great kid. He
(09:15):
really is. Is it hurts your reputation, representation with your agency,
it hurts your representation with or your relationship with your coach,
and it makes your you know, it makes you look bad,
like the first poor game he plays. You better believe
even Washington fans will be like, yeah, this is the
guy who didn't want to stay here for reportedly four
and a half million dollars for next year.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Are not really one of us?
Speaker 7 (09:38):
I mean, man, like the Nico stuff. Nico was hearing
about it if he was playing poorly last year, like
the whole Nico, the whole thing, like this whole like conversation.
And I know that people will look at it and
they talk about, well, you know, these are they want
to be professionals. This is part of being a professional.
I can't imagine if I was their age, if somebody
(09:59):
gave me the ability to do this, and I had
the ability to do it, how bad I would butcher it?
Like I can't even imagine. And I just think there's
like this example, like listen, he goes back. You know,
people are gonna make the jokes. All of that's gonna
come along with it. But it's just like this, like
this is one of those situations to where maybe it's
(10:19):
a learning moment for everybody and they look at it
and go, look, man, whatever advice you're getting, whatever, think
it all the way through, because you could be burning
bridges that you're not even factoring it at this point.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
That's hard to do though. I mean, you're there's going
to be so many people paying, you know, or playing
a part in what these young guys are doing. That's
a hard one to do because you're the people you
don't want to let down, are the people closest to you,
like your parents and stuff like that, And if a
decision is being made that's going to impact your family,
(10:54):
your brothers, your sisters, is heck for some cats, you know,
extended family. It's just I think it's hard to put
that type of pressure on what could be an eighteen
nineteen twenty, you know, twenty one year old, you know,
twenty two year old. I mean that might be the oldest.
It could be a couple of twenty threes. Here and
(11:15):
there a couple of twenty fours here and there, but
for the most part, these are younger guys man, and
this is the first time a lot of these guys.
I would be interested to see if I don't know
if there's been a study done, but what's the economic
backgrounds of these kids? Because I know for certain my
(11:36):
son has not been a part of conversations like this,
not when he was getting recruited and not now. You
know a lot of guys that are former guys players
that have sons, like even talking with Plexico from time
to time about what's going on with Elijah and other
guys that have you know, sons that are in college.
(11:58):
This doesn't even this doesn't even come into the conversation,
and it's because they don't need It's not needed and
necessary for them to try to get through with the
financial part of it. It's like do a deal, learn business.
But the football part of it is what's most important.
Speaker 7 (12:21):
Don't you think all A part of that, though, is
that you guys have experienced in this process, so you
know the pitch, but you know.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
I gave you yet the answer is yes. But I
would also say that I would assume that a kid
that comes from a family that has resources, is not
trying to leverage leverage college football this way. Like to me,
the biggest message I give demand is make sure you
(12:49):
are building a life long, sustainable relationship with your Penn
State community. That's what's to me, that's what's most important.
That is the large just resource that you could tap
into and have pay dividends to you during the course
of your life. But it's hard to see that if
(13:09):
you don't have anything, If you don't have anything and
getting something at this moment when knowing that going to
the pros is not a given. If I can get
money now because we need money, you know, I find
it hard to say kids need to think it through
and think it all the way through. No thinking it
(13:31):
through is if I can get more money out of
a situation going here, or I can get more money
by saying I'm testing this out, then why would they
not do it, even at the risk of the relationship
with the university, with the coach, with the fan base.
Why wouldn't you do it if the payout is getting
more money. It's a hard question to answer, you know,
(13:55):
at least in my estimation.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
I know, I think look That's why you never begrudge
any of these young men and even young women for
that matter, who are in the position to try to
get what they can while they can.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
You never know when the sports are gonna end. You
never know when your career is gonna end.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
And you know, it's interesting in this era, like there's
so much control by the student athlete. And I think
looking back on it, like you get drafted.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Where you get drafted, you don't get to pick. You know,
you you hope you can.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
Make it to free agency where you have the opportunity
to tip to pick and things ever. You know, get
to that point and if not, things either didn't work
out they worked out so well that you got a
huge second contract. So you know, this is that one
opportunity where if you play it by the rules that
have been made, you can really capitalize and make a
ton of money. I mean, you're talking about four and
a half million dollars. Brenton Soresby reportedly is getting five
(14:47):
at Texas Tech. And people who want to, you know,
say whatever they want. It's like you do it too,
And I don't know if you should hold it against
them for it because they've got the opportunity to do it,
and look, is it best to their long term? Who knows,
But all I know is it's a lot of money
to be able to then go continue to do the
thing that you love to do, whether it's stay at
(15:07):
you dub or going to another school. So I just
you know, I think there's definitely some players and parents
in tough situations that have to make tough decisions and
deal with maybe even some public backlash. But it does
come off as hypocritical to me at least because so
you know, so many times people will do the same
exact thing if they're in their shoes hut.
Speaker 7 (15:31):
I just I don't know, man, I think that, like
some of the not everybody comes from a place of privilege.
Like some people live in mansions, some people might live
in a hut somewhere.
Speaker 8 (15:40):
I just think that you know, you've got a.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Factor literally literally in a hut, yes, exactly.
Speaker 7 (15:46):
Yeah, yeah, So I think you got to factor all
that in, you know, different strokes for different folks. Man,
But he's back and he's back at you Dubb, So
good for him.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
You know, it's a good time. I mean, what would
you have done, Jonas if you were in college right now,
take your background and your high school and Q think
about it, because I'd like for you to answer it too.
What would you have done if you're in the situation
that this young man is in, and he's a sought
after asset and we're in this nil era, what would
(16:18):
you do? What would your decision be? How would you
handle it?
Speaker 8 (16:25):
The money would be.
Speaker 7 (16:28):
Too enticing to pass up, But I also recognize that
that could mean some very bad choices. Like listen, man,
I was a bus boy at TGI Fridays, and I
did stupid things with my money that was busboy money.
Like I can't imagine somebody giving me four million dollars
(16:48):
and I'm a celebrity on top of that, and I'm
and I'm really good at what at what this is,
and I'm really, man, I can't. That's why I don't.
I don't begrudge or or criticize any anybody who makes
a mistake or a decision at that age, because like,
you're going through all of this in the public eye
with all of that money, and then people are expecting
(17:10):
you to handle it the right way. Like I'd probably
screw up too, Like I would make mistakes too. I
just would hope that there would be somebody. And that's
where I say, you know, guys like you know, Brady
u LeVar plaques like you guys went through all this,
so you're going to be able to explain, Hey, this
is a good idea, this is not a good idea,
(17:32):
this is what could happen here. Most of these kids
coming up, they don't have anybody who's been through this before.
They don't have anybody to lean on to go through
you know, the pitfalls of certain things like that. So
they're just kind of going into it blind. They see
a big, big check and they go, oh, I'll take this,
and wait, I'll take this, and then they find out
after the fact, no, there's ramifications to all this. So
(17:53):
I just think it's it's it's a muddy game, and
it's getting muddier as the longer this goes on.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
And what would you do the latest.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
Well, I mean, I went to a school that you know,
was was ultimately like where I wanted to go, and
it wasn't like I didn't get that opportunity. So and
knowing just you know, behind the scenes, like I don't
know that I ever would have left, like I'm sure
they would have financially been able to compensate me for that.
So as much as I would have liked to think
(18:24):
that we would have, you know, been able to leverage
some of this success there, I also feel like I
would have been perfectly secure, happy.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Fine with what they have going on there.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
So I just it's kind of a unique Sarah, you know,
scenario because for some of these guys too, like you
looking at Brendan Sorsby, you know, he's leaving Cincinnati to
go to Texas Tech.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Tech Tech won the Big Twelve.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
You know, he was playing for a team in the
Big Twelve, and I think he've used it too as
an opportunity not just to help him in the short term,
but also the long term because he's gonna be on
a team that can maybe win the conference championship and
then get a bye then go into the playoff. He
probably I feel like Cincinnati's there, so he's getting a
you know, a bump not only in pay, but also
in the chance to look even better for those NFL
(19:09):
talent evaluators what he does decide to leave, and at
that point hopefully that then you know, converts to it
to a bigger contract in the NFL.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
Or a better draft draft pick or slot.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
So I just I think it's different for a lot
of these guys that they're making their way up into
this right Trinidad Chompblos is an incredible.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Story of a D two guy who you know.
Speaker 5 (19:29):
Became now a you know, a quarterback leading a team
playing for a chance to you know, go in the
national championship and in the semi final. It they didn't
make it, but I mean, think about how different his
perspective is coming from Farris State to Oxford, Mississippi and they're.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Going on the run that they went on this year.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Hey, by the way, Sad sat Bart, did you pick
up on how they started going back? They were like, oh,
him and his mom and da da da, And then
they're like, wait, hold on a moment, hold on a moment.
Then all of a sudden, the rest of the game,
they just just kept panning back to the mom, panning
(20:06):
back to the mom, panning back to the mom And
then you realized, oh, is that his sister friend? Is
it his girlfriend? I was getting there, I was getting there.
There you go.
Speaker 8 (20:20):
Yeah, Larada, why don't you Why don't you out?
Speaker 3 (20:21):
She must have known it? She must Hey, she must
She must have known that's pretty good, because she started
like really playing into the camera. After the fifteenth time,
the camera panned over to his mom.
Speaker 8 (20:34):
Oh yes, somebody had to text her, and it.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Went from the way it went from a single shot
of the mom to a wide shot of both of
them every single time. It's kind of funny. So y'all
did catch that?
Speaker 8 (20:46):
Yes, okay, all right, I know you've got it.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
I don't know if I was the only one then.
I was looking at man man. I was like, man, man,
you gotta get you a good looking girlfriend. He said,
you got a good looking mom. Your dad did his part.
You gotta get a good looking mom. You gotta go
look at min gotta get a good looking girlfriend. I said,
So your mom and and the girlfriend get some camera time.
He started laughing. Anyway, Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny.
Speaker 8 (21:09):
That's a move.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Yeah, that's a move if you could say hut like that. Though,
you know, you generally had, like, you know, the opportunity.
Somebody thinks you're cute, you're cool, you're cute, a man,
you're funny. You know, Brady ain't as funny as people
think he is, but you know he's you know what
sound supposed to mean. Well, because he's a quarterback, you know,
he says, hut, he gets under the center. You know,
(21:30):
you get the girl. You know, it's how it works linebackers.
You know y'all seen land Man. Yeah, hey, you're the linebacker.
You set this one out. That's that right there. That's
for a quarterback like that's that was the line in
the in the show. You know what I mean. So
you know we understand it. They're the most important. You say, hut,
(21:51):
you get the money, and when get the bag, and
when they wrap shooting, they yell hut and then.
Speaker 8 (21:58):
Cuts you know, yeah, they're off to the next scene.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
How about it.
Speaker 7 (22:02):

for the Lombardi. So if you're watching it from home, whoa,
it's gonna matter. And if it's gonna matter, it needs
to be on the TCL Ultimate Series. That's right, the
(23:20):
QMAK or the QM nine K. This Super Bowl Football
will be the bright stadium lights, that's what it'll be under.
It'll be on the fast cuts and the big hits,
bigger debates, bigger, better, faster. You know how it works.
Where was he was he in? Did it move? Did
(23:43):
it cross the line? Did it did it get you
six points? Yeah? You know TCL. They're going to bring
you the ultimate brightness and ultimate black levels, so you
can see all of those things clearly on your pitcher
clean from kickoff to final drive. It's so clear you
can almost you smell that that's fresh cut grass. That's right.
(24:08):
You can see the ball spin, all of those things. Man,
you might get motion sickness, toe, tag drags, man, no blurry,
no nothing, no hold up, just run it back. See
it clearly. You're good to go and go big. And
that's going with a TCL massive ninety eight inch class.
So every seat is a great one. Doesn't matter where
(24:30):

able to see it very clearly. Yep. So it's not
just for the people in the middle. And if you
can be in the stadium, like we said, TCL Ultimate
Series is the next best seat available at all major retailers.
That's TCL. It's the official TV partner of the NFL.

For this five lines, not those kind of lines. Five picks,
five spreads, time for picks against the spread.
Speaker 7 (26:31):
So now I just want to make sure that I
have this correct because I want everybody to be on
the same page here. But I had a conversation with
Brady Quinn earlier and you let me know that the
regular season standings that was all just preseason to get
why do you do this? We didn't have that conversation
like a short time ago.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
So here's the thing.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
Are we ending the regular season because I mean there's
a chance you guys could.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Come back, right well, I mean it's a new year,
is there not? I mean, is there not those?
Speaker 3 (27:00):
No, there's not.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Okay. Then we end the regular.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Week and do he won a regularly? We start and
start posting season.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
There we go.
Speaker 8 (27:07):
That's fair, all right? So here we going this one.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
I appreciate it. I will say that nature though, Jonas
like that's I see that.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Thanks, Okay.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
I am going to deduct twenty dollars off of my
fines for winning the regular season.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
It's fair.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
What a second?
Speaker 4 (27:26):
How's that fair?
Speaker 3 (27:27):
When?
Speaker 4 (27:29):
What else am I going to get from you cheap asses?
Speaker 3 (27:31):
What do you tell we're going to do dinner?
Speaker 4 (27:33):
I know we're gonna go do dinner, but like I mean,
you're probably not gonna pay up. You're at seventy dollars
by the way, or eight hundred and twenty one.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Yeah, but you don't want as you said, you pay
at the bar in Arizona. What do you really recall?
You ever pay him for anything?
Speaker 8 (27:47):
Never?
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (27:48):
I never once, never paid for anything.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
I'm just making sure i'm asking. I'm asking. I'm not
trying to be offensive.
Speaker 9 (27:54):
I was asking, what about Houston last year?
Speaker 8 (27:56):
Didn't pay for nothing? Come on, man, you guys make.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
Me like he'll pay for at the bar, he'll pay
for a domestic, He'll pay for a domestic.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Here.
Speaker 8 (28:05):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
I'm willing to pay for other people, just never for myself,
you know what I mean. That's why I drive the
truck I drive, all right. My money goes elsewhere.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
That to me, that's kind of funny though, all right,
Like what if you went out and ordered like five, six,
seven drinks? You know what? I mean like, I'll pay
for everybody else. I'm just like, we'll pay for me.
Speaker 7 (28:29):
Yeah, I'm just not I'm uncomfortable paying buying stuff for myself.
I'd rather take care of other people. But again, some
people are built different. I don't have to tell you.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Dang to be a ten dollars fine, right.
Speaker 9 (28:38):
There, let's get let's let's get this going, all right, guys.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
The Mill in Houston.
Speaker 10 (28:46):
You know, it's it's wild car weekend everybody, and it's
a new era. So we're gonna start it off right
with the first game here, and the first game is Panthers.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
That's right.
Speaker 10 (28:58):
The Los Angeles Rams are all the road taking on
the Carolina Panthers Rams are a whopping ten and a
half point favorite.
Speaker 7 (29:06):
Do you guys know, Patty just kind of reverts to
the country Western accident.
Speaker 9 (29:12):
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
It's weird.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
I tried to point this out earlier.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
It's like you automatically just go into this hole.
Speaker 9 (29:23):
I don't know, I don't know why it sticks, guys.
Maybe it's rid of that. Let's get let's get let's
do another one.
Speaker 10 (29:30):
Yeah, all right, all right, so Jones to go first.
Speaker 7 (29:37):
I'll take the Rams only because they've got to prove
that what happened the first time around against Carolina was
just a random fluky game in the rain, that all
this sort of weird stuff have. But I don't like
the fact that it's at ten and a half. I
feel like it could get closed and maybe I'll get
back door covered in this whole thing.
Speaker 8 (29:57):
But I'm gonna go with the Rams the better team.
Speaker 7 (30:00):
And in my opinion, I think it's the best team
in the NFC knocks locks.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
I bet you'd like that backdoor cover Winschapal.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
I'm gonna take you ten and a half points here,
and it's important just because like the two playoff teams,
you know, like as much as we want to try
to like act like there's that great separation between Carolina
and the Rams, this team can keep it close and
they can keep it within ten, right, So I'm gonna
go ahead and take the ten and a half points
of Carolina hare.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
The Rams are traveling to Carolina, correct, right, Yeah, yeah,
but the Carolina Panthers are the underdogs ten and a
half points, about ten and a half points. Not only
are the Rams going to struggle in this game, they're
(30:56):
going to lose. Oh geez, they're going to lose.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Dicks picks.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Yep, money line.
Speaker 9 (31:03):
There we are our first money line.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Panthers.
Speaker 9 (31:05):
There you go all right on to the next year.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (31:08):
We have sneaky.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
That's a sneaky one, right there, sneaky Panthers. They sneaky, Matt.
Speaker 9 (31:12):
You know what else is sneaky this game?
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Packers and Bears.
Speaker 9 (31:16):
That's right.
Speaker 10 (31:17):
We have the Green Bay Packers on the road taking
on Jonas's Chicago Bears. Packers are in fact one and
a half point favorites. Brady, you get to go first here.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
I will go with the Chicago Bears money line because
I want to take away some of some of Jonas's
ability to hype this game up and talk about this matchup.
But I also this supposed to be a snowstorm in Chicago.
I just I don't know. I feel like the Bears
can run the football against the Packers in particular and
inclement climates. Caleb Williams makes a few you know enough plays,
(31:50):
Go ahead and give me Bears money line.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
When's when's.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
All right?
Speaker 9 (31:58):
Jonas? You get to retort?
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Retort here? We got no retort.
Speaker 8 (32:11):
I got the Bears on the money line the knocks locks.
Speaker 9 (32:16):
Great job, Jonas, let's go Vart.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
So you just did the same thing Q did.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Well.
Speaker 8 (32:22):
He copied off my notes.
Speaker 9 (32:24):
Oh well, how's that possible?
Speaker 4 (32:26):
When I went at first?
Speaker 8 (32:29):
He looked over my shoulder. You saw my notes?
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Yeah, he looked on the Google. The Google that possible.
Speaker 8 (32:35):
We were standing in the urinal next to each other.
He looked over my shoulder.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
And told me, nice watch.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
And then you yeah, you boys, nice watch. The wrong
restroom for me. Uh so, uh, I'm I'm going to
take the Green Bay Packers to cover.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Stix picks.
Speaker 9 (33:01):
All right, we love it here.
Speaker 10 (33:03):
Next one up, we have Lorena Bill said, Jaguars.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
That is right.
Speaker 10 (33:08):
The Buffalo Bills are on the road taking on the
Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Bills are in fact one half
point favorites on the road.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
Far you get to go first.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Oh man, this is what my heart is really telling me.
And I know this sounds crazy, but I think Jacksonville
is going to going to win this game. I'm going
to the money on sticks picks.
Speaker 10 (33:32):
Yeah, all right, que you get to go next.
Speaker 5 (33:37):
I'm going money line as well. I think the Jaguars
are the more total team right now. I've got concerns
about the Buffalo Bills defense. I don't think Josh Allen
can just do it all. So I'll go ahead take
the home underdog here in the Jaguars money line.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
When's Whens?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
God Lee such a long?
Speaker 9 (33:58):
Let me finish?
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Yeah, geez, you ain't lying.
Speaker 7 (34:03):
I want to create a little bit of a difference here.
I'm going to take the Buffalo Bills. I think that
the Bills have the potential that if they win this game,
they could go on a run. I could see them
going on a little bit of a run. I will
take Buffalo.
Speaker 8 (34:19):
Minus one and a half here, all right.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
If they win, you're going to go on a run?
Like what o?
Speaker 10 (34:28):
Lord well, speaking of possibly trying to go on a run. Here,
we have the next game, forty nine Ers at Eagles. Alright,
the forty nine ers San Francisco forty nine ers are
on the road taking on.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
The Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 10 (34:41):
Eagles are five and a half point favorites at home.
Speaker 9 (34:45):
Jonas, Jonas, you get to go first, sorry, LeVar.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
Yeah, I just know Jonas.
Speaker 4 (34:51):
Just wait on me.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
Good. They're going to cover.
Speaker 10 (34:56):
Six picks, all right, Jones, you get to go.
Speaker 7 (35:01):
Next, I'm looking at Philadelphia here. I think San Francisco
got exposed a little bit by Seattle. They took a beating.
I think Philly is getting slept on a little bit.
And while I like what Brock Purty has done, at
some point the injuries are going to become a factor
and more of a factor as the season goes on.
(35:23):
I think the great ride from Brock Party and Company
ends here. I got Philly by this five and a half.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Well knocks locks.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
All right, this needs yeah three in a row, all
picking Philly lan in five and a half. So San
Francisco is probably gonna win this one. But again, West
Coast team coming East Coast. I just feel like Philly
knows how to turn it on the postseason. Not that
the forty nine ers are limping here, but I trust
Philly more.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
On this spot.
Speaker 8 (35:51):
So Twin's way, I.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Think that's a different one. Yeah, it's totally a different one.
Actually just re recorded that joint. Well, this is a
game to go. Well, this is a game that was
not re recorded. But we have next.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Chargers and Patriots.
Speaker 10 (36:12):
That's right, the Los Angeles Chargers are on the road
taking on the New England Patriots. Patriots are in fact
three and a half point favorites at home, and Jonas
you have the honors.
Speaker 8 (36:22):
Bolt up or bolt down.
Speaker 7 (36:24):
I'm gonna take the Chargers in this spot. And not
only am I taking the Chargers, I'm taking the Chargers
on the money line.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Knocks all right, you get to go next. This is
the hardest one for me to pick. Honestly, I think
they're very evenly matched. I think from coaching down to personnel.
So I think I'm gonna take the home team on
this one. So I'm gonna go with New England to
cover well, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you
(36:54):
know what, you know what, it's going to be too close,
So I'm actually going you said three three points, three
and a half. Yeah, I'm gonna take the Chargers with
the points here though, like I'm not. Yeah, New England's
gonna win, but not about more than three.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
So I'm gonna take the stix picks.
Speaker 9 (37:11):
Brady, the floor is yours, all right.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
I will be the lone, lone man taking the home
team the favorites slant of the three and a half
points here, I think the Patriots at home it's.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
Tough calf for their Charges team that again. I think
they say they've struggled up front. So the Patriots to
me are the much better team. Think're gonna prove it.
Speaker 10 (37:29):
Twins Whens, all right, and we have bonus. We have
six today because of wild cards final one.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
It is six Steelers.
Speaker 9 (37:40):
That's right.
Speaker 10 (37:40):
The Houston Texans are on the road taking on the
Pittsburgh Steelers. Texans are three point favorites on the road. Brady,
get to go first.
Speaker 5 (37:51):
Look, they won, they got in and this is where
Aaron Rodgers and the mystique of Rogers.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Comes into play here.
Speaker 5 (37:58):
And that defense too, so lowest scoring game. I'd love
to under this game too, But money line, the Pittsburgh
Steelers upset the Houston Texans at home.
Speaker 9 (38:10):
Wins Whens, all right, next up, you get to go.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
Next bar. They got TJ. Watt back man, and I
just I don't know how close he is to the end.
I just know that end ain't right now. Aaron Rodgers,
this could be his final hurrah. You know the Texans,
their defenses is fire, but I just don't trust CJ.
(38:38):
Stroud in the offense. For some strange reason, I think
they can be had. And I'm going to money line.
The Steelers on.
Speaker 10 (38:46):
This one sticks picks all right, Jonas.
Speaker 8 (38:50):
I was a skeptic of the Steelers. I didn't buy
into it.
Speaker 7 (38:54):
And then all of a sudden, the way that game
ended last week, the way the momentum has been building
there in Pittsburgh, it just feels like something special is
going on so much though, that they're going to get
their asses fed to them on national television by the
Houston Texans. Give me the Texans minus the three Knoxlocks.
Speaker 4 (39:13):
Let's go, there we go.
Speaker 7 (39:16):

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Time to find out what's left tons incredible.
Speaker 8 (40:35):
Here's the left over all, right, Larairoo, what we got well.
Speaker 6 (40:38):
I was listening to AM five seventy the other day
our home base here in La Petros and Money Show,
and I heard Petros was having issues finding one of
the basketball games, which led me to do some investigative
research and have streaming platforms and sports officially gone too far?
Speaker 3 (40:55):
There are eight plus.
Speaker 6 (40:56):
Platforms you can watch on Paramount plus, Prime Video, Peacock, ESPN, YouTube,
Direct TV, Disney Plus, Netflix, and sports fans are growing
increasingly frustrated the high costs, the technical issues, the platforms crashing,
the lagging, and obviously all the.
Speaker 9 (41:13):
Games are split up everywhere.
Speaker 6 (41:15):
Do you guys think that a solution will come or
do you think it's only going to get worse and
more expensive.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
It's not going it's going to get worse, but it's
going to be less expensive. But because the demand, Like
for instance, I was watching on I started on YouTube
TV and the volume that the sound wasn't as good
as on Fubo. I went on Fubo and the sound
was way different. I don't know. I think people will
start picking and choosing what they're comfortable with and doing
(41:45):
away with what they don't, you know, they can do without.
Speaker 6 (41:47):
I guess to give you an idea to stream the
whole season of NFL and get every single game for
six months straight, you're looking at five hundred and forty dollars.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
I mean, I don't think that's bad.
Speaker 8 (42:00):
Yeah, look, that's entertainment to me.
Speaker 7 (42:02):
Like, I don't know, Like I've never complained about the
Sunday ticket pricing and all that stuff, because I just.
Speaker 8 (42:08):
I want to watch the games.
Speaker 7 (42:11):
I don't know, I just never I've never thought of
that as a as a punishment, that price being a punishment.
Speaker 3 (42:16):
It's just if I went to eighteen movies during the
course of the year, how much am I paying by myself?
Speaker 6 (42:23):
I think the argument though, is it used to be
free for cable TV.
Speaker 9 (42:26):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (42:26):
You could get it all on one place.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
But you had to pay for cable.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (42:30):
True, I think we go back and free.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
True that When I was a kid, games were free,
like the local channel four, you know that, Like it
was free back then. But I mean you get cable now.
You know you got to pay for cable.
Speaker 6 (42:47):
So, okay, you guys are gonna find this really funny.
I saw this yesterday.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
I know you uh.
Speaker 6 (42:51):
Don't really follow hockey, but the Oilers and the Predators
played each other and online. They made a funny name
for it.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
They called it the Diddy Bowl.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
The Diddy Bull saw that.
Speaker 8 (43:00):
What do you mean?
Speaker 4 (43:01):
Yeahs and the Predator.
Speaker 9 (43:05):
Yeah, well I get it.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (43:09):
Is he a hockey fan? Movie's hockey fan?
Speaker 9 (43:11):
What's a big deal?
Speaker 6 (43:12):
Oh, Jonas, I'm gonna get you.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
Some baby oil.
Speaker 8 (43:15):
Oh gosh Jesus.
Speaker 6 (43:18):
Anyways, guys, have a good weekend next week,
